I have one word for this absolutely amazing shoe creation by the House of Givenchy – SICK!! I was doing my regular “window shopping” online on sites such as net-a-porter, shopbop and Piperlime, when I stumbled upon my new obsession on the Barney’s New York website – the Givenchy Studded T-Strap Sandal.  I will be dreaming about this shoe forever, I can already tell. I have yet to see it in person, but as soon as the rain stops and I finish my homework I will be running to Barneys just to hold it close to my heart! Let me describe it to you: it is a studded leather, open-toe, thick zipper t-strap sandal with studs covering the entire 120 mm heel (thats just over 4.5 inches). I think it was definitely the studded heel that got me. It’s what puts this sandal in a category of its own, this is no traditional studded shoe anymore, it is a studded amazingness. I love the large circle zipper closure and the spiked studs, because I think it really adds to the bad-assness of the shoe. I feel like once this shoe is on a foot it will takeover and transform any woman into an ass-kicking superhero. I was initially attracted to the light blue/silver model (pictured above) but it also comes in black. The black model is just as bad-ass as the light blue/silver, but I don’t think it is as flashy, therefore I can see the black model being worn on more occasions and I think it is even appropriate in the winter.

This ridiculously amazing shoe can be purchased here for the light blue and here for the black. This is an investment piece, coming in at a price of $1,750. But hey, if you can afford it, I say go for it!

Although I do not think any shoe will measure up this this brilliant design, here are other cheaper, but still amazing, options: the Prada for $720 (recently seen on Ashley Olsen), the Frye flat for $158 or the Pour La Victoire for $286.

It seems for eternity, no pain, no gain is a girls motto – 5″ stillettos to make our legs look longer, never mind that you’ll lose the feeling in your feet after 40 minutes..

corsets – to svelte our waist and other bits we’d rather keep slimline… at the expense of perhaps, eating, breathing…

and of course, not to forget plastic surgery.  Growing old gracefully ?  Maybe, after the Botox, eye lifts, collagen implants have taken effect!

I wanted to start this blog talking about my dream shoe at the moment, which is perfect, because I also wanted to start off with a simple shoe so I don’t scare you readers off! This shoe is the Christian Louboutin Miss 120 Platform Ankle Boot. It is a classic bootie with a hidden platform and a 4.5 inch heel – WOW! This is a shoe that will last in your shoe collection for decades. I love this bootie because I never see it going out of style and the trademark red sole always gives any outfit a hint of flare and sexiness. I think Mr. Louboutin created the perfect bootie with this model. The square toe differentiates it from other traditional black booties and I think it hits the ankle at the perfect spot. They can be paired with a cute mini and tights (think crazy patterns and colors or even just plain black) or even with a hot pair of dark skinny jeans. This shoe has been pictured on many, many celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Kristin Cavallari and Jennifer Aniston, and it looks great on each an everyone of them. The 4.5 inch heel adds lots of height and really elongates the leg and the hidden 1 inch heel makes the shoe comfortable enough for standing (or dancing) for hours at a time. It also helps to make walking easier and more elegant!

This shoe typically goes for $1,075 (ouch!) and can be purchased here and comes it black and dark brown. Although this is a pricey shoe, I think it is worth the investment because I truly think it is a shoe that will last forever. I’ve had a bit of issues with my cuck if you didn’t read my last entry, as I am coming North to Coffs he is heading South to Sydney so I will not get to see him! I am very angry about this because he is always going somewhere else when I am going to be in his area.

I think part of this issue is to do with the fact that we are so young, possibly cuckolding is not for younger couples. The reason I say this is because we do not live together and I find that makes things harder on me, I don’t have my cuck there to support me and vice versa.

Each year on my birthday I purchase a pair of shoes that border on the edge of ridiculous.  This year, in honor of my hunt for love, I have decided to purchase a pair of shoes that reflects my “wild” side.  Introducing to the world the newest member of my shoe family…

I believe jaw-dropping is a good descriptor, right?  Turning the big 2-8 is so much easier in beautiful shoes like these!

(In case anyone is curious, the heels on these little ladies is a whopping 4 1/2 inches.  Not for the faint of heart.)

It’s time to go get a spare key made.  Max walks out of her room and announces that she is ready to go.  I notice her feet.  She has on one pink Croc and one pink plastic sequined dress up shoe.  “Um, your shoes don’t match.”  “Yes, they do.  They are both pink.”  Pick your battles, Mom.  So, off we go in the rain to Home Depot.

We arrive in the pouring rain.  I get out the umbrella and we make our way into the store.  The nice lady at the front greets us and asks Max if she can help us find anything.  “I need a key.” Max answers.  So, the lady crouches down and explains to her where she needs to go get the key.

As we walk through the store, her shoes make a thud, click, thud, click, thud click sound as she steps from the soft Crock to the dress up high heel shoe on the concrete floor.  There are so few people there mid-morning on a weekday, so she really stands out.  People are chuckling and whispering to each other, “Look at her shoes!” as though I can’t hear them.  Grins and giggles follow us to the key counter.

Thud, click, thud, click, thud, click.

We get to the key counter and the man shows us our options.  There are plain keys, and keys with everything from skulls to flowers on them.  Then she saw it.  The Holy Grail of spare keys.  Tinkerbell.  She had to have it.  She jumped up and down giggling like a goofball.  So, the man at the counter gets it down.     He puts it in the key grinder and gets to work.  Max had a million questions.  “What is he doing with my Tinkerbell key?  Why is that loud?  Why is that thing working?  Why are there ABC’s all over this store?”  She was adorable and sweet, especially for Max.  He took the key out and checked it against the original.  “Why is that guy looking at my key like that?’

“I want to make sure it matches.  You would be mad at me if it didn’t work when you get home,” he explains, grinning.  “I have a one year old,” he says to me.  “I can’t wait for her to be like this.”  Yes, you can.

We are finally finished and get checked out.   Umbrella goes up as we head back out into the rain.  Thud, click, thud, click , thud, click to the car.  Just then, Max spots a man huddled into his rain jacket with his hood pulled over his head making his way to the store.  Max cheerily says, “It’s okay, Man.  It’s just the rain.” and hops happily into the car.

Or “Just What I’ve Been Doing Over the Last Three Weeks.”

I have to admit that over the last few weeks life has gotten a bit in the way of my typical reading schedule. I’ve read a page here. And I’ve read a page there. But my regular “chapters at time” approach (patent pending) has fallen by the wayside.

While I haven’t gotten to Lemuel’s urinary pyrotechnics I am closing in on the end our time in Lilliput. Gulliver is giving it to those old “High Heels” and “Low Heels.” In fact, I was just asking myself: I wonder which of the heels you and I would be?

And just as I was in mid-ponder I logged onto the blog and I saw you had answered the question for me. Because, Twin Brother, if you are 5′ 11 1/2″ you are definitely a “High Heel”-er.

So, thanks for saving me the mental calisthenics.

As for Swiftian humor, here’s a particular favorite of mine:

SAMPEYAN perempuan? Seneng pake sepatu hak tinggi? Pelajari pengalaman wong-wong wedo’ Jakarta dan Bandung pas gempa kemarin. Gara-gara pakai high heel turun tangga dari lantai 7, lantai 8, lantai 13 dan seterusnya, kunang-kunanglah mripat mereka sampe nduk lantai dasar. Ada yang semaput. Ada yang besok paginya masih sambat pegel-pegel boyo’ dan pinggang-e.

Sa’benernya ndak pake ada goyang bumi, wong-wong wedo‘ itu wis mudeng. Mudeng bahwa sepatu jinjit pancen bikin repot. Sopir-sopir pribadi pasti tahu, rampung melenggang anggun pake sepatu tumit tinggi dalam pesta, ibu-ibu langsung ngelepas itu di mobil. Nafas mereka sedikit melar-mingkus, lalu ganti sandal jepit.

Nek ndak percoyo buntuti saj bos-bos perempuan dari ruang pertemuan ke ruang kerja pribadinya di satu lantai atau satu gedung. Pasti beliau pas masuk ruang kerjanya dewe langsung lukir high heel-nya dengan sandal saja atau malah nyeker.

Ponokawan Petruk sering dicurhati Arjuna. Katanya penengah Pandawa ini lebih suka istri sing nganggo sepatu rendah saja pas nang pesta. Tampil pakai sepatu hak tinggi pancen cantik. Tapi habis itu lho…Habis itu…pas wis pulang, di atas ranjang, otot-otot pinggang dan pinggul mereka wis ndak lentur lagi, sudah ndak hot lagi. Bojone gigit jari.

“Demi cantik di depan umum,” kata Dewi Kunti, “Perempuan memeang rela menyiksa dirinya sendiri.” Ibu para Pandawa itu hanya menyayangkan, kelak kaumnya terlalu peduli pada pandangan umum. “Keperluan” suami dikorbankan. Mereka juga terlalu pusing ambe’ wujud fisik dandanan. Bukan falsafah dandanan.

Lihatlah kemben alias korset Dewi drupadi, madi dewi Kunti. Itu ndak cuma bagus wujudnya. Falsafah dan khasiatnya…wah. Berkali-kali dursasana dan bala Kurawa ngudari kain Drupadi. Mereka bakal rame-rame memerkosa sang Dewi. Bolak-balik gagal. Ujung kemben tetap mereka tarik gotong-royong berlarian kayak dari Tuban ke Lamongan sampai sang dewi berputar seperti gasing. Tapi saking saktinya kemben, masih juga kain yang meliliti tubuh drupadi itu tak habis-habis.

Bener lho…

“Alahalaaaah…Jangan Sampeyan reken omongan perempuan,” kata Gareng, kakak Petruk. Anak tertua Semar sing paling seneng mikir ini punya alasan. Katanya, Kunti yang bolak-balik omong perkara moral nyatane juga ndak jegos ngurus morale dewe. Eling? Dengan pelet Aji Cipto Wekasing Roso Sabdo Tunggal Tanpo Lawan, ibu Pandawa ini punya pacar gelap Batara Surya. Dia ngandung anak diluar nikah. Melahirkan. Terus bayi itu dibuang. Dia kelak jadi anak temon yang dipiara Kurawa. Namanya Karno.

Ma’ jleg Bagong datang kayak biasa-ne. Mata-ne melotot-melotot. Dengan sangat polos tapi mendasar, bungsu Semar ini marah-marah nang Gareng. “Awakmu sok tahu perkoro perempuan,” sergah Bagong. “Sopo sing ngomong Kunti iku bobrok moral-e. Sopo sing ngomong Drupadi ndak mau di-anu ambe‘ Kurawa. Dan sopo sing ngomong perempuan iku tersiksa ne’ pake sepatu hak tinggi…Belum tentu…belum tentu…Perempuan susah ditebak. Maksud hatinya bahkan dia sendiri nggak tahu…”

Melihat kegigihan dan kengototan Bagong siang itu, di bawah pohon sawo kembar, di pelataran padepokan semar, Klampis Ireng, saya jadi teringat penggalan sajak almarhum Rendra :

…Perempuan bagaikan belut
Meski telah kau kenali segala lekuk liku tubuhnya

Sukmanya selalu luput dari genggaman…

Suasana Klampis Ireng saat itu jadi kaku. Gareng ndak kunjung menanggapi Bagong. Kedatangan Petruk pun tak kunjung mencairkan suasana. Seribu pelawak Kartolo diterjunkan ke situ juga nggak bakal nolong suasana. Bagong akhirnya bengak-bengok membawakan puisi yang ditulisnya sendiri di Jombang tentang are’ wedo’ :

Dalam laut dapat diduga
Dalam celana siapa tahu
Apalagi di dalam kalbu perempuan
Kita tambah ndak ngerti opo-opo…lholak lholok
Kenapa perempuan kalau dicium kok selalu merem?

Petruk : Karena perempuan menghayati. Bedo karo wong lanang sing main sludrak-sludruk asal cium tanpa curahan jiwa.
Gareng : Sebab ndak kuasa menggambarkan betapa indah dan nikmatnya cinta. Maka perempuan terpejam pas tercium.
Bagong : Itu bisa betul bisa kliru, Goblok! Tapi bisa juga perempuan tutup mata klo disun, karena mereka membayangkan laki-laki yang lain-lain lagi.

Wah Gareng jadi inget. Istrinya, Dewi Sariwati, waktu diambung Gareng tidak merem tapi matanya malah nyambi baca koran. Masuk akal juga saat merem pas dicium, kaum perempuan itu mengingat-ingat bacaan di koran, umpama-ne bertanya-tanya kenapa kok sedekah ke wong mis wong mis di JAkarta malah dihukum Perda 8 tahun 2007 –yang mau keluar diangka nanti apa 82007 apa 67 (dari Rp 6,7 triliun yang dirampok dari Bank Century) atau 73 (dari 7,3 skala Richter gempa di Tasikmalaya).

O ya, sampe lupa. Semar sebenarnya dari tadi juga ada di bawah sawo kembar itu. Lupa saya sebut karena dia diem saja. Sekarang orangnya sudah mulai ngomong sambil terkekeh-kekeh :

“Saya kemarin malam ketemu Batara Hananta Boga di Bromo. Itu lho dewa yang dinasnya menyangga bumi. Hananta Boga batuk, bumi gempa. Boga mulet, bumi gempa. Boga kepingkel-pingkel, bumi gempa. Ta’ tanya ke Boga kenapa kok batuk, mulet dan tertawanya nggak bisa diprediksi? Kenapa kok krawuh dan ilmu pengetahuan paling mutakhir pun ndak bisa meramal kapan terjadinya gempa?

Kenapa gempa jauh lebih ndak iso diramalkan ketimbang perempuan-permpuan seperti (Badai) Isabel (2003), Donna (1960), Camile (1969), Gabrielle (1989), Ella (1978), Gerda (1969), Debbie (1982), termasuk sing paling dahsyat Katrina (2005) dan Ike (2008)?

Oh, thole, Garong, Petro dan Baong, apa jawaban si Bapak Bogasari itu, eh, si Tata Boga, eh, si Jasa Boga? Begini jawaban Hananta Boga: Hahaha…Eyang Semar, biar perempuan juga tahu bahwa bukan cuma perempuan yang nggak bisa ditebak, bahwa bukan cuma perempuan yang nggak bisa diramalkan. Hahaha…

Ooo…jumangkah anggro sru susumbar lindu bumi gonjing…

( Semar lan para putro pun hanya bisa berbela sungkawa atas musibah gempa bumi yang melanda bumi Parahiangan. Para petinggi nggak perlu mereka iringi ke lapangan. Mereka tetep di ibukota, karena pemilu sudah lewat).

A friend has been invited for a private tour of a US aircraft carrier, and asked me what would be appropriate dress code. Other than anti-war protests, my only direct experience with the Navy is Cher’s “If I could turn back time.” For Cher, a super-sized wig, thong, minimal V-shaped fabric covering the front, metallic belt, fish nets, garters and high heeled boots seemed to make the sailors smile and dance in her video.

What would you recommend? Are double butt tattoos mandatory for aircraft visits?
