I think she is a cute and sexy girl and though this dress not the most stylish it is nice to see her curves. Haven’t seen much of Christina Aguillera lately. She’s been hiding raising her family or working on new material I guess. She still looks pretty hot though. She is seen here shooting some video or something wearing a nice pair of tight jeans and sexy high heels. It’s good to see her back out. I’ve always thought she was fun to look at. Couldn’t care less about her entertainment abilities but she does a nice job decorating herself and has sexy legs that she mounts in high heels.

Ein Arbeitskollege machte mich auf diese tolle “How to decide if you should buy more shoes” Entscheidungshilfe aufmerksam. Die ist echt genial. Mit bringst sie aber leider nicht viel… Meine Antwort ist eh immer “YES”

Dorfsheriff Mats Dillen macht seit einigen Wochen in Frauenklamotten nachts Jagd auf Handtaschendiebe. Der Polizist trägt dabei auffällige Röcke und Damenstrümpfe und ist in High-Heels unterwegs. Ausserdem schleppt er eine XXL-Handtasche durchs Dorf. Ziel dabei ist es, Handtaschenräuber anzulocken und dingfest zu machen.

Wie Dillen in einem Interview auf dorsch-tv bemerkte, sei er stolz diesen Job auszuführen. So manches Mal gebe es auch Pfiffe von Bewunderern, die ihnen zweifelhafte Angebote machten. Erfolge hätten sich dagegen in den letzten vier Wochen nicht eingestellt.

Quantity should never be picked over quality. A great wardrobe should never be full of clothes it should hold only essential key pieces. A wardrobe should be refreshed for the summer and winter season. The essential capsule wardrobe should contain these basics;

Denim Skinny Jeans from Republic

An everyday good quality leather handbag. Big enough for all the essentials.

A great pair of denim jeans that will go with almost anything!

One pair of trainers and a pair of good quality winter boots that will give your feet a rest from high heels.

And of course a pair of flats that will look good and take you from day to evening without the blisters!

Of course you need a pair of really nice heels too! Ones that you love and will make you feel a million dollars whenever you wear them.

So that’s your footwear sorted. No more than 4 pairs of shoes!

With your jeans you need a small selection of really great tops. Tops that work well for the day and the evening. 3 0r 4 tops should do it.

Two cardigans, cardigans are way more versatile than jumpers and will keep you warm on colder days.

So what about a party outfit to go with those high heels? You can’t go wrong with a Little Black Dress. And a great clutch bag to add a splash of colour.

Add a winter coat and you should have a basic wardrobe which you can add to as the months go by. Chances are you have enough clothes stashed inside your closet to clothe a small family, but do you have the right clothes? The quality pieces that will last season after season? Maybe you like the full looking wardrobe or perhaps you are fed up with the usual wardrobe junk food and want some thoroughbred outfits. Personally I want a wardrobe filled with clothes I really, really love.

Så kom de i leverans på dörren nyss, supersnygga glittriga högklackade sandaler för tävlingen.. fick köpa liiite för små skor till mina stora labbar så att de skall hänga bra på foten när jag går… de gamla glassiga skorna följer såklart med som reserv…för man vet ju alldrig..  skulle det uppstå skostrul för mig eller en någon annan medtävlande är de ju bra å ha.

Så nu var man igång igen med å träna på att gå i skor man ytterst sällan brukar gå i annars… 12 cm klack skall behärskas tillsammas med poseringen… tycker faktiskt det går snäppet bättre med de nya sandalerna än med de svarta pumpsen som har 11 cm … för mig gäller det iallafall att inte ta för långa steg…

Mina fotsulor har också en tendens att “knyta sig” på undersidan i pumpsen (det hände faktiskt precis innan jag skulle på scenen under förra tävlingen)… och gör djävligt ont. Kanske någon har tips på vad man kan göra mot just dessa knytningar under foten?

Audrina Patridge looks sexy in a short silver dress and high heels that do a fantastic job of accentuating her gorgeous legs. She has very shapely and hot legs that she enjoys showing off. You can tell she puts in a lot of workout effort as her legs are toned and has a ton of muscle definition. From casual outings to formal events this woman tends to decorate herself in eye pleasing attire. I don’t know a thing about her ability to entertain but she definitely has a hot body that is worth a glance. She is looking hot as she appears at a U.S. Weekly function.

My life was a strange and unforeseen array of NY parties, openings, late night bars, dates, dumpings, Manolo buying, Manolo hocking, binge eating, food restricting, and Mallomar hiding, job hunting, and  firings that went on far beyond its expiration date. One day I’m walking to a meet a lunch date a Grand Central Terminal and my heart starts to hurt.  I figure it’s either the new angst of my life or my heels are too high.  Maybe it’s the fact that elder lawyers and accountants are on my speed dial.  After a three week battery of tests, I ended up in Lenox Hill Hospital for an emergency cardiac procedure.   I was there alone and was told to put the contents of my life into a small plastic bag.  (There went the Manolos!)  Thank God I was wearing lipstick!  “Pink Sweetheart”. And where is a slinky strapless gown and thong when you need it?   It wasn’t bad being the “babe” in the cardiac ward.  There were lots of captive men and residents to talk to. I watched my heartbeat, on one of those monitors, but then my cell phone crashed.    Three days later I took a taxi home and pondered the tenuousness of life.  I saw buildings and flowers with new color.  But this sense of wonder and gratitude faded as I renewed my various “searches “just three weeks later.  My heart has never healed.

“No! Not the SHOES!” – by Ashley M. Boynes

Here’s the thing: in addition to Rheumatoid Arthritis and Celiac Disease, I suffer from a third disease. This condition is called “Chronic Shoe Lust.” Shoes are my sanctuary. And here’s my frustration: I don’t want to give up my cute shoes, even when my logic — and my doctor — tells me to. While they aren’t Manolos, Louboutins, or Jimmy Choos by any means, my closet is filled with pair after pair of (more affordable!) adorable, uncomfortable, and sometimes dangerous-looking shoes. I love them!

Sometimes, it is so hard to be reasonable. It can be especially difficult when you are 26 years old and have a seemingly endless list of rules to follow, what not to do, what not to eat, which medications to take, which supplements are helpful, when the next doctor’s appointment is, and so forth. Add in a pinch of human emotion and a dash of impulsion – and you’re surely bound to slip up here and there.

I have rheumatoid arthritis in ALL of my joints, but my right knee is a particular mess: I have a torn meniscus floating around, both RA and osteoarthritis, cartilage damage, bone spurs and calcium deposits. I’ve lost my full range of motion – my knee doesn’t fully straighten or bend – and it is constantly swollen.  It sometimes physically locks in a 90-degree angle. I have walked with a slight limp since the sixth grade. With no other choice, I’ve gotten used to my not-so-friendly knee and the pain it causes my whole right leg – from hip to ankle.

And this cranky knee? Along with my doctor and family members, it has chastised me time and time again for wearing kitten heels, stilettos, wedges, pointy-toed pumps and other variations of cute and fashionable shoes. These shoes hate me, though. My difficult knee has teamed up with said hip and foot to cause horrendous wear-and-tear to any pair of heels that I slide on to my feet, ruining the shoe by making the heel slanted and bent inward with no hope for repair. This sad display makes me unable to walk in them any further – but yet, as I consider fashion (especially shoes) an art – I do not have the heart to throw them away! That being said, however, I cannot imagine the damage being done to my joint if that is what occurs to each pair of shoes. Hmm…

Now, I AM a logical young woman. I follow my strict gluten-free diet, I take my pills on time, I take my vitamins and rarely miss a doctor’s appointment. I try to take care of myself, and try not to take on more than I can handle.

But I refuse to give up wearing cute shoes. Cute, painful, inconvenient, fabulous shoes!

I’m not sure why this is. I do enjoy the confidence-boost that I get when a stranger compliments me on a particularly stylish pair. It makes me feel good about myself, and I consider shoe-collecting almost a hobby. I know that, given my condition, the “reasonable” and “rational” thing to do is to wear flats, sneakers, or some sort of more “accommodating” shoes. Yet, I wear platform Mary Janes, open-toed kitten pumps, sandals with little-to-no support, and 4-inch stilettos…I just can’t help myself!

I know, I know. I’m “going to kill myself walking in those things.” It’s “no wonder” I limp. “Of course my knee is killing me — look at those shoes!” -  I’ve heard it all. But when I’m traipsing back to the parking garage at the end of the work day, I don’t feel so badly – because I’m joined by countless other women limping along, teetering on the edge of sanity with their sky-high heels. In that moment, I’m not alone.

Could this be why I torture myself with the heels? Maybe a part of me thinks it is easier to hide behind the guise of “it’s just the shoes,” rather than a chronic illness with no end in sight. It’s the blame game — and blaming a physical ail on having fashionable feet is much easier than the reality of the situation. I also think it’s my pride. I want to hold on to any sense of normalcy that I can, since sometimes my life isn’t exactly that of a “normal” 26-year-old. Do I have to give up something that, as silly as it is, makes me happy?

I know that I’m being stubborn, and I’m probably hurting my knee further, but here’s how I justify it: I’ve sacrificed enough. I have given up pizza, beer, “regular” baked goods, my beloved Twizzlers, and, really, any sense of being carefree. I’ve sacrificed sports. I’ve sacrificed nights out with friends. Isn’t it OK to be stubborn just this once?

I know there are far worse things that could happen in life – after all, they’re only shoes. But shoes are something I can control. The other things that bother me about chronic illness are things that I might not be able to change, ever, even if I want to. So forgive me for wanting to hold on to my shoes. After all, I need to be well-heeled while I take the steps to kick these symptoms!
