La doctrina de la Confesión Positiva, uno de los tóxicos espirituales   que forman parte de la siniestra teología de la prosperidad y que ha producido notables estragos en el ámbito protestante religioso, marcadamente en el carismático pentecostalista, germinó  y creció  como las plantas con las enseñanzas de E. W. Kenyon, entre los años 1891 y 1948. De allí en adelante, Kenneth Hagin y después Kenneth Copeland, fueron influenciados  en este orden por semejante veneno  que terminó extendiéndose por todo rumbo y recóndito habido. La Confesión Positiva en el pentecostalismo carismático se centra en la búsqueda de cualquier cosa  material con el “poder del creyente”, si se confiesa  con expresiones o palabras de “fe”. De este modo se le obliga a Dios a cumplir lo que se le ha reclamado, pasándose por alto su perfecta y soberana voluntad  por  la del  hombre que  es fallida y egocéntrica,  sino échele un vistazo a los acontecimientos sociales y políticos del mundo. Por eso estamos como estamos, por la pútrida y espantosa voluntad humana.   

Essek William Kenyon (1867-1948) desde temprana edad tuvo contacto con el Nuevo Pensamiento de Phineas Quimby, un personaje arraigado en las doctrinas de la Ciencia Cristiana y de la Unidad. Ambos dieron por sentado el  posible hecho de sanar de cualquier enfermedad con el poder de la mente humana. Para que el sincretismo tuviera una facha más plausible, Kenyon manipulaba  con grande error, aunque su intención pudiera ser buena,  pasajes  bíblicos que hablaban de   prosperidad y de salud. Durante sus campañas evangelísticas Kenyon animaba a los enfermos para que declararan sanidad en sus cuerpos enfermos, para que las promesas de Dios escritas en la Biblia se vieran cumplidas  con  rotundo éxito.

Kenyon, aparte de pastorear algunas iglesias, levantó un instituto de estudios bíblicos en el que fue presidente por  veinticinco años. Para el año de 1923 Kenyon fundó la Iglesia Bautista Independiente Figueroa, en los Ángeles California. En 1931, en Seattle, dio comienzo a un programa radial llamado La Iglesia del Aire de Kenyon, lo que dio pie para la fundación de la Iglesia Bautista del  Nuevo Pacto. Para comienzos del Siglo Veinte, todo esto provocó un ferviente “avivamiento” y el erguimiento de muchas  iglesias pentecostalistas. 

Entre los discípulos de Kenyon encontramos a Kenneth Hagin, uno de los más notables y nefandos heraldos de la Confesión Positiva en el mundo de la denominación pentecostal. Hagin promulgó esta  contrariedad a través de casetes, de libros, de prédicas y seminarios. Hagin erigió  el Centro Rhema, en Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, para adiestramiento bíblico, enseñando que el principio de toda prosperidad material y de la salud física dependía de la “fe” de la persona, “fe” que comprometía a Dios para el alcance de  dicha  prosperidad.  Esta “fe”, que por supuesto no es  la Bíblica, es vista para Hagin y compañía  como una activa  y poderosa fuerza  que empuja u obliga a Dios sin otra opción (lo coloca entre la espada y la pared) para cristalizarles  como una “bella realidad” todos los deseos solicitados de  sus “merecedores y abnegados hijos” que  aman lo que el mundo ama también: las cosas materiales a “elevadísimas potencias”. Y es igual  para la sanidad de enfermedades, y no importa si se padece de  cáncer o de otras patologías clínicas etiquetadas como incurables: “Dios los librará con absoluta seguridad de ellas”. 

El problema en el positivismo mental es que no se toma en cuenta el contexto de otros pasajes bíblicos para aclarar una determinada verdad. Los versos son seleccionados convenientemente y los resultados vienen a ser desastrosos por su  mala interpretación. Por ejemplo, cuando un texto habla de prosperidad para los creyentes, no se refiere a que Dios esté obligado en  hacer de ellos unos súper millonarios valiéndose de las más distintas formas y maneras. La prosperidad a la que Dios se refiere en su Palabra es principalmente «espiritual» y no «material». La prosperidad bíblica es el producto de un buen caminar en el Señor, y podríamos nombra como paz, gozo, paciencia, amor ágape, sabiduría, cordura, bondad, templanza, santidad, humildad, sujeción, etc. (el fruto del espíritu santo: véase Gal.5:22-23). Si el creyente prospera de tal modo,  esta prosperidad lo llevará sin duda y directo a los beneficios objetivos del Reino venidero, para que tome «la corona que está preparada para los que le aman a Dios» (Stg. 1:12). 

La solución para el creyente no se encuentra en conseguir  por medio de confesar positivamente lo que el hombre del mundo desea con afán desmedido, como son las riquezas materiales: La solución se encuentra en la búsqueda de las riquezas espirituales para ubicarnos como creyente maduros en un mundo que sólo ofrece codicia, decepción, muerte y perdición… «Porque raíz de todos los males es el amor al dinero, el cual codiciando algunos, se extraviaron de la fe, y fueron traspasados de muchos dolores» (1 Tim. 6:10). En Mt. 6:33, el texto enfatiza  la búsqueda del Reino de Dios y no las cosas materiales, porque tales “cosas” «serán añadidas por Dios», como son el «vestido» y la «comida», «porque el Padre sabe que tenéis necesidad de todas estas cosas» (Mt. 6:31-32).

Cristo manda a «no buscar tesoros en la tierra», sino en el «cielo» (Mt. 6:19-20). Cristo declara que «no se puede servir a dos Señores al mismo tiempo», a Dios y las riquezas, «porque se estimará  uno y se aborrecerá el otro» (Mt. 6:24).  Los maestros de la prosperidad “rugen como tigres a los cuatro vientos amar a Dios”, pero por sus indignos frutos conocidos demuestran únicamente que aman  las riquezas de la profana tierra. Estos malvados agentes de Satanás utilizan a Dios como “puente” para alcanzarlas sin temor a la condenación. Su amor por Dios es una engañosa mentira anunciada con “gloriosa y retorcida falsedad”.

Los maestros de la prosperidad se han olvidado  que Cristo dijo que el creyente debía de «negarse a sí mismo y tomar su cruz para poder seguirle», mostrando con esto que la senda que lleva a la vida eterna, a la consumación de la salvación,  no es en para nada fácil (Mt. 10:38). El Señor le dijo al obediente Ananías que le mostraría a Saulo de Tarso «la necesidad de padecer por su nombre» (Hech. 9:15-16). Por causa del nombre del Señor, Pablo fue azotado, despreciado, apedreado, injuriado, encarcelado y perseguido, y por último, decapitado por la espada romana. Pero ahora los maestros de la prosperidad han  hecho discípulos que no quieren «sufrir la sana doctrina»; son los  que «tienen comezón de oír» (2 Ti, 4:3) exclusivamente los mensajes egoístas de los predicadores diabólicos que «aparentan ser piadosos» (2 Tim. 3:5), y que los “atarantan de lo lindo” con tanta maraña efectiva y enredo doctrinal. No desean sufrí en el nombre del Señor, pero sí disfrutar de los placeres terrenales en el “nombre de la carne”, como lo hacen los más sensuales  y egocéntricos  hedonistas de este mundo de “las carnalidades más carnales y protervas”.  

Ahora, con relación a las enfermedades, la Biblia no garantiza que Dios las tenga que sanar en todos los cristianos por “protocolo espiritual”. «Sí sana» o «No sana», depende de su perfecta y célica voluntad. El ser  creyentes no nos hace “inmunes” contra el cáncer,  contra los infartos cerebrales y cardiacos, contra  las infecciones, ni ante las enfermedades degenerativas que pudieran hasta matarnos, en caso de padecerlas como hijos de Dios. También los buenos cristianos mueren por enfermedades largas y penosas, crueles y dolorosas. En las congregaciones pseudo cristianas donde se auspicia  la teología de la  prosperidad, se le ha metido en la cabeza al creyente que “no es digno jamás de enfermarse  por ser un hijo de Dios”. Que es importante auto declararse “siempre saludable, mas nunca considerar ni permitir la enfermedad en él,  por autoridad divina”. Jehová  le probó a Satanás y a la humanidad entera, después del abierto desafío del diablo en el tercer cielo, que es  posible  soportar cualquier prueba, por más pesada y difícil que pudiera ser, si se ha confiado correctamente en él. Dios permitió el sufrimiento en Job con la inesperada muerte de sus hijos, con una hostigosa sarna que se allegó en su cuerpo, con la pérdida de sus propiedades materiales y la de sus siervos… con las necias presiones de quienes estaban a su  alrededor. Durante esta prueba, Job maduró espiritualmente y Dios lo recompensó con mucho más de lo que tenía, para fines prácticos, le duplicó las bendiciones materiales, dándole además hijas muy hermosas. Este es un precioso ejemplo de valor inmedible que ha fortalecido espiritualmente a los creyentes genuinos de todas las épocas. Por lo contrario, en las iglesias carismáticas pentecostales, se incita a “prosperar espiritualmente”, pero no con la Palabra de Dios ni con arduas pruebas, sino con “los bienes que el Señor habrá de otorgarle a  su humilde majada”, los cuales son intrascendentes para la vida de cada uno de los que con sinceridad creen en  Cristo.  Pero esto no es lo que dice la Divina Palabra, sino la influencia doctrinal  que se introdujo en esta clase de iglesias que les gustaría  tener lo del “inconverso y envidiado vecino”, y por si fuera poco, en “charola de plata pura”. 

Esta influencia extraña e impía de la que hablamos, y que refuta, según ella, “el conocimiento de los sentidos”, parte del concepto «gnóstico»  que rechaza el mundo material expresamente, por ser catalogado como “inherentemente malo”; rechaza la “carne”, porque “es maligna en todo sentido”. Estos falsos maestros promueven que el mundo físico tiene que ser “ignorado” porque “proporciona señales negativas que proceden de Satanás”. Lo peor de todo, es que no faltan los muy tontos y supremos  ignorantes en las congregaciones pentecostalistas que admiten  este  fútil cuento mixturado, por no tomarse la molestia de analizarlo “con Biblia en mano”. Para los maestros de la  prosperidad, es vital e importante el tenerse en consideración principalmente el “conocimiento de la revelación”, es decir,  la Confesión Positiva, con el fin de ir más allá de las problemáticas físicas enfrentadas y adquirir lo que se busca con ambición terrena. Niegan lo que denominan “el conocimiento de los sentidos” ya que parte del mundo material y a la vez “rastrean” lo que del mundo material emana: Magistral y mordaz antítesis no deja de ser tal cosa.  

Nos es imposible como seres humanos negar o escapar de un mundo en que las condiciones  generales  no andan tan bien que digamos, pero sí es posible que aprendamos a vivir con cordura  en su corrupta y destructiva faz, según los lineamientos establecidos por Dios, con el fin de no contaminarnos de su sensualidad y de su grotesca maldad. Al respecto, Santiago escribió en su carta: «… y guardarse sin mancha del mundo» (Stg. 1:27), ya que es inevitable evadirlo. No podemos desechar lo que  es imprescindible  para nosotros en este mundo, y es claro y obvio que no hablo de  las banalidades que se desprenden de su esencia, sino a los elementos vitales y necesarios para el sustento de nuestros cuerpos, como son los alimentos, la luz solar, el aire, el agua, el vestido, el calzado, y más etcs. La solución no es negar la existencia del pecado y de la enfermedad; y para esto los maestros  de la mortal teología de la prosperidad “se han pintado de negro como nadie”. La Biblia declara, y esto es para todos los creyentes en Cristo, que seguimos «pecando», porque «quien dice no haber pecado, es un mentiroso», y agrego, de gran calibre (1 Jn. 1:10). Pecamos, pero  no como antes de conocer al Señor. El Antiguo Testamento dice que «el que se aparta de sus pecados alcanzará misericordia, pero si los encubre, no prosperará» (Prov. 28:13). La Biblia menciona además que «Si confesamos nuestros pecados, el es fiel y justo para perdonarnos, para limpiarnos de toda maldad» (1 Jn. 1:9). ¿Hay acaso aquí indicios qué debemos negar el pecado porqué no existe como tal? ¡Por favor, maestros de la prosperidad, dejen de ventilar  pavadas!

Según el Nuevo Pensamiento que se encuentra infiltrado en las iglesias pentecostalistas, las personas pueden experimentar de buena salud, de éxito económico por la actitud de una mente positiva. Afirma que el pensar positivamente “atrae cosas buenas”, y pensar negativamente “atrae cosas malas”. Es bueno saber que Kenyon fue un hombre graduado en metafísica, y cómo ya mencionamos sus doctrinas  fueron tomadas en un inicio por Kenneth Hagin y después  por los famosos y conocidos  maestros de prosperidad como son los anticristianos Frederick Price, David Yonggi Cho, Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts, Benny Hinn, Charles Capps,  Morris Cerullo, y otros que se me  escapan de la mente por “su no tan despreciable cantidad”. En Latinoamérica, la letal sombra  de este tósigo equivocado ha envenenando a hombres  como Cash Luna y a los que integran la  “manada de lobos” del religioso y también afamado garito del Infierno denominado “Enlace TBN”, sucursal de la satánica  empresa del desviado Paul Crouch, a quien  le han sacado muchos “trapitos al sol”, y una de estas “garras” lo descubre como homosexual activo durante su ministerio de ganancias exorbitantes, y créame amable lector, que no me refiero a las espirituales. 

Benny Hinn afirmó con pretensiosa locura  que “Dios sanó a los creyentes hace dos mil años de sus enfermedades físicas”, y para que funcione a la perfección es suficiente con declararlo por “fe”  (¿?). Sostiene que “la enfermedad no le pertenece al creyente”, que “no hay lugar  para ella en el Cuerpo de Cristo”.  Así qué, como hijos de Dios, no tenemos derecho a enfermarnos ni tan siquiera por insignificantes catarros pasajeros, ni por molestas ni húmedas diarreas, ni por dolores articulares causados por artritis o por el cansancio extremo. Y cómo la muerte, que surgió por el pecado del hombre, es producida tantas veces por enfermedades incurables o descuidadas, es lógico suponer que tampoco tendríamos el “derecho”, según la tónica de estos abyectos maestros, “ni para morirnos”; entonces, ¿cómo es qué los creyentes fieles del mundo entero continúan falleciendo  por  distintas enfermedades de pronóstico sombrío? ¡Qué infantilismo el de Hinn!  Este es el resultado de concientizar  con liviandad lo que no es viable bíblicamente, pero sí  por medio de la Confesión Positiva, cuyo origen es pagano. La falta de interés para  analizar el verdadero contexto de los versos utilizados por esta sarta de hienas y patanes para sus propias ganancias ha desviado a un incalculable puñado de personas  del camino de la  sana doctrina y de la  salvación, por admitirse sin juicio dogmas «sin sangre», «sin amor al prójimo», «sin redención», «sin escrituras», «sin santidad», y «sin Reino». 

Parece que  los maestros de la prosperidad no recuerdan  que Pablo menciona en la Biblia que «a causa de la enfermedad del cuerpo os anuncié el evangelio al principio» (Gal.4:13). Se les ha olvidado que Timoteo, «hijo de Pablo en la fe», «padecía de un molesto mal estomacal». Jamás Pablo declaró en Timoteo  sanidad alguna para su dolencia gástrica valiéndose del método de la Confesión Positiva, aquella que es  promovida con orgullo e ignorante valentía  por tipos como Benny Hinn y Cash Luna. Pablo le recomienda tan sólo a Timoteo el «tomar un poco de vino para la mejoría de su padecimiento digestivo, y de otras enfermedades» (1 Tim. 5:23). En el Nuevo Testamento miramos  que Pablo «dejó a Trófimo», un creyente derecho, «enfermo en Mileto» (2 Tim. 4:20). Otro buen creyente, «Epafrodito», «enfermó gravemente y estuvo a punto de morir» (Fil. 2:25-30). Aunque los maestros de la prosperidad no acepten la enfermedad en el cristiano, un día, aunque no lo quieran creer o aceptar, enfrentarán una lo bastante comprometedora para su salud que los llevará sin otro remedio más que a la fría tumba, acaso de no sucumbir ante la muerte por otra cosa diferente.  

Tenemos que entender que los seres humanos, todos, cristianos o no, somos parte de una creación maldecida por causa del pecado. El hombre nace y morirá a su debido tiempo: sea quien sea. Sabemos que en edad avanzada la visión merma y los ojos exigen gafas para ayudarse a ver adecuadamente. El caminar se dificulta por el desgaste articular, por lo que se utilizan  bordones o bastones; y si es muy severo, habrá que sentarse en sillas de ruedas. El cuerpo se cansa y degenera con los años, los órganos vitales dejan de funcionar como debe ser: viene la falla multi orgánica… y perecemos irremediablemente. 

Una pequeña semblanza de lo visto: Los maestros del Nuevo Pensamiento,  como los de teología de la prosperidad, los de la súper Fe, concuerdan que por medio de  “afirmaciones  mentales” se puede controlar cualquier situación física. Este sombrío movimiento se caracteriza en confesar por “fe” como “tener ya lo que todavía  no se tiene, lo que es deseado”. Los maestros de la prosperidad le “aseguran” al creyente que tendrá  salud corporal  y prosperidad material indefinida con la Confesión Positiva; le  afirman que nunca jamás habrá de enfermarse;  que será un hijo de Dios victoriosos ante las adversidades de la vida con simple hecho de “confesarlo”, de “decláralo por fe”. Pablo nos otorga un clarísimo ejemplo en una de sus cartas que «había aprendido a estar contento en cualquier situación vivida» (Fil. 4:11-13). Los maestros de la prosperidad y del pensamiento positivo no parecen estar muy contentos con esta clase de textos bíblicos, simplemente porque no los pueden tergiversar; así que los evitan para no contradecir sus absurdas y ridículas ideas.   

El cristiano que está embaucado en este asunto que reta a Dios a manifestar su ira y enojo, tendrá que pensar doblemente que «si no recibe bendiciones materiales en esta vida», sí tendrá «unas incomparables en el Reino de Dios venidero». Léalo en Ro. 8:17-18, amable lector. Es verdad  que hay buenos cristianos que poseen hartas riquezas, pero las utilizan en la obra divina, para difundir el verdadero evangelio de la salvación. Hay que pensar además que no todo cristiano es rico en lo material, pero sí en el sentido espiritual, que es mejor que las riquezas que el mundo ofrece y en las que regularmente está implicado el diablo para desviar a los hombres a la perdición. Tal es el caso de los maestros de la prosperidad: Unos inigualables títeres de Satanás que se están ganando la adustión postrera, si no se despiertan para apreciar su lamentable error. 

Dios nos muestra en la Biblia para que aprendamos a orar por nuestras necesidades, para que nos supla lo que realmente requerimos, según su soberana voluntad. La Biblia nos muestra que debemos de trabajar para adquirir lo que necesitamos, es decir, lo que está dentro del margen de la sensatez bíblica,  y para ayudar con lo que ganamos de nuestro esfuerzo a otros que requieran ayuda (Ef. 4:28). «Todo trabajo dignifica, cuando es honroso». La Biblia nos exhorta a que «estemos contentos con las  provisiones más  básicas en vez de estar buscando sin razón las riquezas innecesarias del mundo» (1 Ts. 4:9-12).

Acuerdo con lo que dice cierto autor, cuando  escribe que en países donde hay prosperidad, no es difícil predicar mensajes que promulgan que “Dios desea hacer ricos a sus hijos”; pero la cuestión es, ¿qué hay de los lugares dónde reinan el hambre, la pobreza y la persecución de la Iglesia? Yo creo que los maestros de  prosperidad no cabrían en estas partes en que la miseria y el hambre imperan. Se carcajearían de ellos en sus mismas caras por causa de sus  increíbles ficciones predicadas. «Una doctrina bíblica debe ser aplicable  universalmente», dice el autor.     

En la Inmaculada Palabra no hay nada que apoye que debemos  de “confesar positivamente” para hacernos de “trivialidades materiales”. La Biblia nunca nos enseña a obligar a Dios  para que nos cumpla lo que la “regalada gana” nos exija. En Jn. 3:3 tampoco  encontramos una promesa de prosperidad económica que habrá de condensarse por medio de la Confesión Positiva.  

Consideremos lo que el Señor dijo: «Hágase tu voluntad» (Mt. 26:42).

Amados: engan cuidado con los falsos maestros de la prosperidad que predican doctrinas de lóbregos horizontes terrenales, que pondrán a muchos, si no renuncian a sus mentiras, en el propio lago que arde con azufre y fuego.

« Pero hubo también falsos profetas entre el pueblo, como habrá entre vosotros falsos maestros, que introducirán encubiertamente herejías destructoras, y aun negarán al Señor que los rescató, atrayendo sobre sí mismos destrucción repentina. Y muchos seguirán sus disoluciones, por causa de los cuales el camino de la verdad será blasfemado, y por avaricia harán mercadería de vosotros con palabras fingidas. Sobre los tales ya de largo tiempo la condenación no se tarda, y su perdición no se duerme» (2 P. 2:1-3).

Dios les bendiga siempre.

FOREWORD

If tongues are for today, I want them. If tongues are not for today, I do not want to be deceived. The only way for any person to be convinced is if they are willing to take the Word of God, examine It honestly, and stand 100% on “Thus saith the Lord”! It can be stated no better than Isaiah 8:20, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Of all the tongues advocates I have talked with, they almost always credit speaking in tongues with their desire to witness, their enthusiasm, their love for the Lord … on and on it goes. It seems to supplement what they need to fulfill their Christian life, or make it complete.

I have never spoken in tongues. After examining the Scriptures, I am sure that I never will, because they are not for today. Isn’t it amazing? I have everything in Christ, and more, without speaking in tongues than those who claim tongues. The Christian life is exciting and fulfilling. There is nothing more thrilling than witnessing and leading people to Christ. Three things found in Ephesians 6:17-20 are responsible for the Christian’s motivation and enthusiasm:

Let God speak to You. “Take…the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” (vs. 17)

Let us speak to God. “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” (vs. 18)

Let us speak to the lost. “…and for me…that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.” (vs. 19)

This is all the “spiritual high” we will ever need. Tongues advocates are supplementing the speaking in tongues for something they are missing from Ephesians 6:17-20.

My motivation, encouragement, and enthusiasm comes from God speaking to me and my speaking to Him. The excitement of the Christian life is found in defending the faith, witnessing, and leading others to Christ. I am fully satisfied with this, and need nothing more. I have all I need in Christ … not tongues.

This is a article that I wrote many years ago, but I thought that I will post it here for you to see.

The bible warns us about false prophets. It is spelled out as clear as day in these following verses to name a few:

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves – Matthew 7:15

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:11

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24

Benny Hinn has made false prophecies. Just take a look at the following:

Orlando Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989.
“The Spirit tells me – Fidel Castro will die – in the 90’s. Oooh my! Some will try to kill him and they will not succeed. But there will come a change in his physical health, and he will not stay in power, and Cuba will be visited of God.”

Orlando Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989.
“The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid 90’s, about ‘94-’95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. [audience applauds] But He will not destroy it – with what many minds have thought Him to be, He will destroy it with fire. And many will turn and be saved, and many will rebel and be destroyed.”

Benny Hinn claims that the Lord revealed the above prophecies to him, yet none came to pass. I don’t know about you but I believe God is without fail, and if the Lord did give him these words, then God was wrong. It is a case of Benny lied, or the Lord was wrong. The answer should be clear to any Christian.

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Ezek 13:2 “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: ‘Hear the word of the LORD!

Ezek 13:3 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!

Ezek 13:4 Your prophets, O Israel, are like jackals among ruins.

Ezek 13:5 You have not gone up to the breaks in the wall to repair it for the house of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the LORD.

Ezek 13:6 Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. They say, “The LORD declares,” when the LORD has not sent them; yet they expect their words to be fulfilled.

Ezek 13:7 Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, “The LORD declares,” though I have not spoken?

Ezek 13:8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Ezek 13:9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.

FOREWORD

If tongues are for today, I want them. If tongues are not for today, I do not want to be deceived. The only way for any person to be convinced is if they are willing to take the Word of God, examine It honestly, and stand 100% on “Thus saith the Lord”! It can be stated no better than Isaiah 8:20, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Of all the tongues advocates I have talked with, they almost always credit speaking in tongues with their desire to witness, their enthusiasm, their love for the Lord … on and on it goes. It seems to supplement what they need to fulfill their Christian life, or make it complete.

I have never spoken in tongues. After examining the Scriptures, I am sure that I never will, because they are not for today. Isn’t it amazing? I have everything in Christ, and more, without speaking in tongues than those who claim tongues. The Christian life is exciting and fulfilling. There is nothing more thrilling than witnessing and leading people to Christ. Three things found in Ephesians 6:17-20 are responsible for the Christian’s motivation and enthusiasm:

Let God speak to You. “Take…the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” (vs. 17)

Let us speak to God. “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” (vs. 18)

Let us speak to the lost. “…and for me…that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.” (vs. 19)

This is all the “spiritual high” we will ever need. Tongues advocates are supplementing the speaking in tongues for something they are missing from Ephesians 6:17-20.

My motivation, encouragement, and enthusiasm comes from God speaking to me and my speaking to Him. The excitement of the Christian life is found in defending the faith, witnessing, and leading others to Christ. I am fully satisfied with this, and need nothing more. I have all I need in Christ … not tongues.

Ik wil even een kleine melding maken.

Een tijdje geleden en ook vandaag vond ik een link in één van de commentaren die verwees naar een website waar slecht gesproken wordt over predikanten en anderen.

Het is zeker waar dat we moeten oppassen voor dwaalleraars en dergelijke, maar mag ik even melden dat dit niet de boodschap is die God ons gegeven heeft? Hij vertelt ons dat we het GOEDE NIEUWS moeten verkondigen.

Daarbij moeten we opletten wat we over mensen zeggen en tegen mensen zeggen. Het is heel makkelijk om mensen die in de kijker staan in een slecht daglicht te plaatsen. De fouten die ze maken zijn dan ook heel zichtbaar omdat ze op de voet gevolgd worden door gieren die alleen maar slecht willen praten over hen. Ik denk dat je daar gewoon moet mee opletten. Ten andere is het niet op commentaren van anderen dat we onze mening moeten bouwen. We moeten in gebed gaan en als God zegt dat we erheen moeten gaan dan gaan we, moeten we er van weg blijven, blijf er dan van weg.

Het hangt eigenlijk mijn voeten uit dat “CHRISTENEN” alsmaar zich bezig houden met de slechte punten van een ander? Ben je dan zelf zo perfect? Come on… get a life? Wil ik jouw leven even openbaren? Het moet gewoon gedaan zijn om daar mee bezig te zijn en meer bezig te zijn met het zoeken naar het Koninkrijk van God en Zijn gerechtigheid.

Ook wil even wat anders melden nog, als vervolg. Het is echt niet goed om je hand op te heffen, verbaal of fisiek, tegen een gezalfde. Stel nu even (en dat geloof ik ook) dat die predikanten echt wel gezalfden zijn van God. Dan moet je echt wel opletten waar je mee bezig bent. Saul was ook niet de perfecte koning. Integendeel, want hij was ongehoorzaam aan God. Niet tegenstaande heeft David hem niet aangevochten omdat hij zijn hand niet wou opheffen tegen een gezalfde van God. Je moet echt wel oppassen waar je mee bezig bent.

En dan spreek ik uit heel veel ervaring. Toen ik de eerste keer Benny Hinn meemaakte wou ik nooit meer naar één van die samenkomsten gaan omdat ik er echt wel geschokt buiten ben gegaan. Ik heb gezegd dat ik alleen nog maar zou gaan als God mij zou sturen. In die jaren daaropvolgend heeft God mij onderwezen dat het niet mijn zaken zijn wanneer Pastor Hinn iets fout doet of wanneer er dingen gebeuren waar ik ni mee akkoord kan gaan. Dat is tussen hem en God. Daar heb ik niets mee te maken. En als afsluiter; ik zat midden in de organisatie toen Benny Hinn naar België kwam. Dat had ik van mijn leven niet kunnen verwachten. Ik heb achter de schermen geweest en dingen gezien die mij helemaal van gedacht hebben doen veranderen.

Doet die het goed? Geen idee, ik heb daar geen zaken mee. Wanneer God mij daar wil dan zal ik er zijn anders ben ik ergens anders. Wanneer ik iemand moet waarschuwen, dan zal ik dat doen, anders zijn het mijn zaken niet. Enzovoort.

Stop met die rommel op mijn blog te zetten en hou die commentaren voor jezelf. Zelfs al zouden deze mensen je vijand zijn, dan nog noem je ze geen gek of idioot. Je hebt ze lief en bid voor ze en zegent ze en God zal er wel mee afrekenen wanneer dat nodig is. Zorg in de eerste plaats dat je zelf rein staat voor God. Vergeet niet dat wanneer je zaait dat je ook zal oogsten.

Zoek eerst het Koninkrijk van God en Zijn gerechtigheid.

On May 21, 2008 just before awaking I had a dream wherein I Pastor Benny Hinn laid hands on me and briefly prayed for me saying, “Dream on! Dream on!”

Upon grabbing my Strong’s Concordance to do a word study of “dream” in the Hebrew I noticed the following definitions – to prop up, to bind firmly, to be plump, make plump, to be in good liking, and to recover.

That being said may the dream of God arise in you and enable you to fully recover from what you’ve been going through. May God Almighty arise in you and cause your gifts, talents, and abilities to flourish in the earth. Blossom like a radiant and beautiful flower.

For those of you weary in well doing and down trodden by life’s overwhelming circumstances, I pray that Jesus by the power of His Holy Spirit will wrap His arms of love around you, comfort, heal, nourish, and restore you to a state of wholeness.

Rest and rejoice in the Lord.  The battle belongs to the Lord.  Let the power of the resurrection flood to overflowing your spirit and soul, making you whole!

Breathe and believe.  Only believe and you will see the glory of God (John 11:40).

Truly with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).
