Te vedeam, la un moment dat, cum treceai pe langa mine fara sa schitezi vreun gest. Mi se parea atunci ca nici macar nu ma vedeai. Aveam impresia ca traiam numai eu in lumea mea, fara ca tu sa faci parte din ea. Ti-am scris poezii, ti-am trimis sonete si acorduri de chiatara.  Numai eu le auzeam.

Am reusit apoi sa ma impiedic de ignoranta ta si sa ma agat de bratul tau. Si m-ai carat o perioada, iar picioarele mele nu mai atingeau pamantul.

Apoi te-am privit cum te transformi, iau eu ramaneam ancorata in imaginea pe care mi-o creasem. Ce piesa stupida! Nici actorii care faceau parte din spectacol nu mai erau multumiti de el. Iar publicul… publicul era confuz. Nu mai aplauda sfarsitul piesei, nu s-a prins cand s-a terminat, cand s-au aprins luminile si scena a ramas goala.

Apoi te-am vazut cand am intors capul. Te-am observat din celalalt unghi al camerei pe care pana acum n-o cunosteam. Si te vedeam cum te pierzi printre spectatori, in timp ce stiam ca nu esti unul dintre ei. Te vedeam cum dai drumul franghiei pe care ti-o aruncasem in prapastia din care, agatata de bratul tau, te-am scos pentru o vreme. Cat de greu mi-a fost! Apoi am inteles ca de celalat capat al ei, fundul prapastiei ti s-a parut mai apropiat decat iesirea din ea, unde ma aflam eu. Tu ma vedeai asa de departe de tine… Si te-am lasat sa cazi, ti-am trimis semne sa te linistesti, ti-am daruit bucati din mine pe care sa le porti, sa nu fii singur.

Te vedeam cum aluneci incet si ireversibil. Te priveam asa cum o faceai si tu cand treceai pe langa mine. Si apoi te-ai impiedicat de ignoranta mea, te-ai agatat de bratul meu si te-am carat o perioada, iar picioarele tale nu mai atingeau pamantul. Dar m-ai vazut apoi din alt unghi al scenei pe care jucam piesa perfecta, in care tu nu mai erai actorul principal. Ma vedeai asa cum o faceam si eu. Priveai scena si publicul aplaudand finalul. Ai parasit teatrul fara ca eu sa te vad plecand si fara sa poti aplauda, caci de bratele tale era ancorata ea.

Nu te-am mai vazut apoi o vreme. Te mai vedeam din cand in cand cum treci pe langa mine si te impiedici de ignoranta mea. Ma vedeai apoi surazand, dar intelegeai totul gresit. Ai privit tot din acelasi unghi. Ma vedeai apoi impiedicandu-ma si amuzandu-ma de ignoranta mea, agatandu-ma de bratul oricui, caci nu mai conta spectacolul. Faceam parte din publicul care aplauda furtunos inceptul unei noi piese.

Te vedeam apoi pe scena, impreuna cu ceilalti actori cu care am lucrat. Si va aplaudam puternic. Te laudam pentru prestatia perfecta si comparam piesele in care am jucat. Scenariile erau aceleasi, piesele se jucau la fel, doar actorii se mai schimbau periodic. Aplaudam din nou. Cand a cazut cortina, s-a aprins lumina si am parasit sala, tot in aplauze. Nu te mai vedeam…

One of my all time favorite games…it is so incredible, probably the most perfect Medieval RPG there is to date; though with a few flaws, it makes up in atmos, design, depth, gameplay and ofcourse the wonderful music.

The theme just screams ‘FUCKING BADASS GAME‘

I cant wait until Elderscrolls 5 is released next year of 2010…it is going to be epic…I am gonna pee my pants.
But until then, I will be able to satisfy my gaming needs with Metal Gear, and ofcourse to quenc my RPG thirst; Dragon Age!

But then again…there are so much more things to life that can stimulate the senses ^^

Como ayer empecé con una película mala, hoy vamos con una que definitivamente es pochoclera y entretenida.

Quien no vio Hitch? Nosotros con mi novia (Mar) siempre la enganchamos, en el cable, en la tele y hemos ido al video club, pedirla y que nos digan que se la llevaron :s y siempre la tratamos de ver.

Gente esta película es pochoclera, entretenida… por si alguien todavía no la vio, es la historia de un especialista en hacer citas de parejas y que estas citas sean perfectas, pero que a su vez él mismo no puede concretar una cita ideal.

A mi modo pochoclero de ver, y por supuesto el de Mar, esta película se recomienda 100%

So yesterday, in my efforts to expand my mind on dating, attend a fun speaker, and have possible ideas for great blog entries, I saw David Coleman, the guy who the movie Hitch with Will Smith is based on. He’s a motivational dating speaker and was really entertaining! The whole ballroom was packed full of students to hear the advice he had to give (which was probably a public service to people at my school due to the fact that nearly everyone is so awkward there).

Most of it was to be confident in yourself because you have nothing to lose. If you see yourself as a 6, you are only going to be able to get a 6.

One thing he did was made us answer several questions about our favorite animal, color, and body of water. Once we answered those, we were told to pick three adjectives for each that described each one of the words we had chosen. If you’re reading this and have never done this “Jahari Window” exercise, do it now before I reveal what it all means. This exercise is supposed to be 90% accurate or something like that.

• For animal, I chose an ‘owl’. The adjectives that I used to describe it were “wise”, “predatorial”, and “independent”. Apparently the creature that I chose and how I described it is how I think others perceive me. I guess I agree with this.
• For color, I chose ‘light blue’ and used the words “tranquil”, “comforting”, and “happy” in describing it. Apparently this is supposed to be how I see myself. Not sure if I agree. I’m kind of anxious… a lot.
• For body of water, I put the ‘Mediterranean Sea’ and described it as “cooling”, “peaceful”, and “sunny”. Apparently this is how sex is supposed to be to me… I don’t know about cooling or peaceful. Maybe I have some kind of peace of mind afterwards?

Another tactic he spoke about that guys use when flirting is something I found pretty interesting. I can’t remember the name of it, but basically it’s all about eye contact. He told guys to make initial eye contact, break it, then make eye contact again and hold it for about the time it takes you to say “don’t be stupid” and then break it again, then make eye contact until she breaks it and finally change your location. If she’s interested, she’ll glance around the room until she finds you and then you’ll make eye contact again, but only because she was looking for you and now you’ve got her interest.

…Interesting tactic. But the one thing I got from it was that you need to have confidence. That was the real kicker in attraction. You’ve got to be the “FAT penguin”. You’ve got to “break the ice”. Clever.

All in all, I thought he was pretty good. He also knows a lot of stuff about military relationships too, but I’m not really going to delve into that.

Bolt on hitches are a great way to carry extra cargo, bikes & skis.

It’s apparently all I’m capable of anymore.  I had all weekend (except for when I saw The Good Body, John Krasinski, went to church, and watch the Patriots kick some Dolphin ass), and yet I did no homework.

Now I have to post for some online discussion for my Rhetorical Tradition class and I have to copy out my Spanish vocab from last week (although it could have been much worse, and I don’t have to do the online work till this afternoon).  But the kicker is that I have to write a short story.  Now, I have known about this story for over a week and that it had to be workshopped in Tuesday’s class and was supposed to be posted by noon on Sunday.  But I put it off.  I mean, I tried to tell my professor I knew it wouldn’t be up by then, but then I went so far as to come up with an elaborate lie by posting a dead attachment online os no one could read my blank page and I could just blame my computer.  But rather than actually writing the story to have ready to post “when I realized it was wrong before,” I didn’t.

Instead I perused Perez Hilton, played that Harry Potter game on Facebook, organized some of my room, watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians (which I never watch because I have this lukewarm hate towards them), and then watch Hitch.

But now, like 2 people posted after  me saying my link didn’t work, and I have class from 10 till 1, and I’m going to have to have a kickass story when I post it with a ton of apologies right after that.

UGH.  Why do I always dig these holes for myself?

Disclaimer: Before I get into this, I’d like to say that “Hitch” was cute, I fully understand that it is A MOVIE, and I’m sure love can be wonderful (I know love can be wonderful). I am just feeling particularly cynical tonight.

I’ve gotten recommendations from a few people to see the movie “Hitch,” so when it was on TV tonight, I decided to watch it.

I expected a normal chick flick with a predictable chick flick plot: boy and girl meet, boy and girl fall for each other, boy and girl have a misunderstanding that leaves one of them feeling betrayed, boy and girl make up, kiss, and live happily ever after.

What I got was…a normal chick flick with a predictable chick flick plot. What I got that I didn’t expect was that it actually hurt to watch it.

Maybe it’s the frigid bitch in me, but I found myself believing the arguments for not falling in love and not allowing yourself to get hurt more than the “love conquers all” argument presented at the end.

After a break-up, people always try to comfort you with the notion that even if a relationship caused you pain, it was worth it for the happiness it once brought you; the whole “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened” idea.

When I think back on my relationship with The Ex (from this post) though, all of the happy times (and they were truly happy times) added together just don’t seem worth the way I felt when I was finally able to say “I love you” for the first time, he told me he “couldn’t love,” and my heart learned what it feels like to break. To be honest, very little seems worth going through that ever again.

And now, months later, as I look at a man who is decent and good to me and know that I have been hurt to the point where I don’t know if I can trust again, love just doesn’t seem worth it.

And yet, I know that just like everybody else, I will do it all again, because that’s what people do.

Sometimes, I wonder why.

 I must admit, I have been working on a project that has taken me away from this particular posting for the third wine I randomly bought and tried. However, recent news on the H1N1 vaccine have sparked some thoughts. The vaccine will be going to the big house first priority. Which makes sense. A thought wave went through my head in passing… H1N1 kills everyone else in the world in a mass epidemic… and the prisoners will rule the world! The ones who WOULD know how to survive harsh situations the best right? Danmark ær nog det sæmsta stællet vi liftat i hittills. Idag stod vi i sammanlagt ca 5 timmar och liftat. Vi satt fast i ett stælle bara några mil utanfør køpenhamn i fyra timmar tills vi æntligen fick sjuts efter att en kille tittade på oss och skrattade medans Axel spelade djembe och jag spelade sorgset på themesången från Titanic.

Stim ca e spre binele lui, desi am speriat intreaga echipa de cardiologi de la Institutul Inimii din Cluj, care, in ciuda activitatii vaste pe care o au si a experientei de netagaduit in domeniu, au recunoscut ca n-au mai vazut asa ceva pana acum. Asadar, in urma unei punctii care a avut efectul scontat doar intr-o oarecare masura, echipa de medici a decis sa-l reopereze, pe cord deschis de data asta, in felul urmator: vor crea o “fereastra” intre pericard si pleura, pentru ca tot lichidul acumulat in jurul inimii sa se “verse” in plamani, pentru a reintra ulterior in ciurculatie, in organism, astfel ca va putea fi eliminat mai usor. Desigur, nici asta nu va fi o solutie definitiva pentru ca in urma operatiei de genul acesta nu se va mai putea aduna niciun lichid in pericardul care va avea nevoie de asta pentru ca inima sa functioneze corect. Te iubesc, Mel, si te admir pentru curajul pe care niciunul dintre cunoscutii mei nu-l au! Sunt mandra ca esti fratele meu si ca ai puterea sa treci peste toate, ca iti pastrezi zambetul pe buze si simtul umorului intact. Mai mult, te iubesc ca imi esti frate si ca ma inveti si tu pe mine sa trec peste toate, datorita caracterului tau! Esti extraordinar si oricine recunoaste asta!

Mai putin importanta e petrecerea de Halloween de sambata, cand, impreuna cu cativa prieteni, ne-am distrat si fotografiat, costumati in te-miri-ce sau doar in noi. Am incercat sa fiu The Black Fairy, dar mi-a iesit altceva, insa pozografii de atunci va arat altadata ( vedeti pe Facebook daca vreti si suntem prieteni ) Urmeaza sa mai postez cateva “dorinte” materializabile in cadouri de ziua mea, care se apropie. Accept si idei de petrecere, daca toate vor functiona asa cum am planuit si asa cum speram. Toate bune!

Mi-ar fi placut sa stiu la al catelea capitol din jurnalul de bord din dotare am ajuns. Din pacate, pana si eu am pierdut sirul.

In aceasta dezordine rearanjata de idei, in ceea ce priveste lucrurile care stagneaza, am decis sa schimb modificarea. Fraza asta n-are niciun sens, dar avand in vedere lipsa coerentei de care dau azi dovada, as putea sa-mi gasesc o scuza.

Din cauza motivelor am prins o raceala sora cu boala, caci mai am putin si cad din picioare. Ar fi neplacut sa fac asta tocmai acum, pana nu ajung acasa, la mine in pat. Nu m-a prea ajutat medicatia din ultimele doua zile, nici plimbarea la Institutul Inimii din Cluj, nici ceaiurile numberless, nici pastilele luate doua cate trei sau siropul de-mprumut. Am ramas eu singura sanatoasa si-n picioare, dar nu voi putea vorbi concret despre asta pana nu mi se intampla si fizic.

Azi ma doare capul teribil, sunt bolnava si amnezica, dar macar sunt tot eu, chiar daca nu tot acolo. Daniel Craig:
Think about the two new Bond movies. He kills people even when he’s not supposed to. Those alien/zombies don’t stand a chance.

Gerald Butler:
300, Gamer, RocknRolla, Reign of Fire. This man is all that is man. Burly, bad ass, and a good singer to boot. Bonus points for being born in Scotland.

Will Smith:
Recommended by Taylor and Craig, I was pretty set against him at first. Fresh Prince and Hitch do nothing to boast about his apocalypse survival skills, but I think he’s finally out of his juvenile stages. Hancock, I Am Legend, and Men In Black (1 & 2) all attest to his butt-kicking skills.

Sylvester Stallone:
Freaking buffest 60 year-old I’ve ever seen. I’d take him, even at his grandpa age. You can’t beat Apollo Creed and take out an entire army of Burmese bad guys and not be considered for zombie-killer status.

Hugh Jackman:
Despite his extreme manliness exhibited in the latest X-Men, I don’t know if Hugh would be able to pull it off without his claws. As Taylor put it, “He’s a bit too much of a musical type person to save the world.”

Bruce Willis:
I don’t doubt Bruce’s world saving skills, the Die Hards and Armageddon proof they’re there. But I think they’re buried under a few too many years in the field. His age was showing in Live Free or Die Hard; he was way too slow getting up from jumping out of the police car.

Angelina Jolie:
That’s right. I listed a chick. She’ll kick your butt if you think otherwise. The Tomb Raider series, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Wanted are proof.

During a random sign on to AIM, Glenn and I got onto the issue of personal TOP TEN FILMS.  I love lists yet I’d never taken the time to assemble a top 10, top 5, or even a generic “Top” movie list!  Eager to know what movies I really do put up at the top based on random criteria, I went to work on a dynamic top 10 movie list and here is what I came up with.

Stephen’s Top Ten Films (in no particular order)

#1- Children Of Men//director: Alfonso Cuaron//starring: Clive Owen//release date: 2006
When I first saw the trailer for this film back in 2006, I flipped shit and knew I had to see it as soon as I was released.  Every trailer, ad, and commercial said “Christmas Day”, but when December 25th rolled around, there was no Children of Men at any theatre I knew of.  Almost every day after Christmas I feverishly searched for information about the movie trying to figure out when exactly I could feast my eyes upon it.  Not until late January did it come to AMC Cantera and at the time I was dating Danielle and she made me wait for her to see it.  Sadly every time we made plans to see it, she got busy and I had to miss it.  Finally one random day where we didn’t have school we were going to go and yet again she had to cancel.  Having no more patience to wait I went by myself and left the movie theatre amazed.  Never before had I seen such an awesome film.  Clive Owen is the perfect actor to portray such a defeated, sensitive, yet always courageous hero.  The imagery of a realistic dystopia was spot-on and I was always craving to see more of the world the actors worked in.  Some of my favorite cinema moments come from COM- which I won’t mention in case of spoilers- but the violent opener and the tear-inducing aftermath of the famous “no-cut action sequence” were both super intense and had me raving about the film long after the credits rolled.  For a haunting vision of the future that is supported by spectacular directing and passionate performances, Children of Men is your movie.

#2- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind//director: Michel Gondry//starring: Jim Carrey & Kate Winslet//release date: 2004
Oh gosh, I don’t even know where to start on this movie.  It’s imaginative, it’s heart-breaking, it’s beautiful, it’s evocative- it’s perfection in a film.  Writer Charlie Kaufman is a maniacal genius and Michel Gondry is creative beyond definition.  Jim Carrey also proves he is something of a pitch perfect actor in whatever role he’s called to do.  To not see this movie is a disservice to your imagination and intellect.

#3- Lost In Translation//director: Sofia Coppola//starring: Bill Murray & Scarlett Johannson//release date: 2003
The first thing to note about LIT is that you must watch the whole film to appreciate it.  Even a Japan-o-phile like me wasn’t really feeling the movie until the last few moments and when the credits rolled up on screen, everything Ms. Coppola wanted me to feel came rushing at me and left me in a state of wonder.  LIT is a beautiful film about life- about the people we meet and the decisions we make.  While it’s marketed as a comedy, don’t take it as such.  Granted, there are some hilarious moments- but even Braveheart had funny scenes.  Think of Lost In Translation as a ride you take through the neon-explosion that is Japan with characters who feel like people you know/people you WILL meet during your lifetime.  LIT is an experience.

#4- About a Boy//director: the Weitz Brothers//starring: Hugh Grant & Rachel Weiz//release date: 2002
Haha, so, I swear the descending order of release dates is not intentional.  The order was determined by what came to me first.  And in all honesty, seeing as I saw this movie when I was 12, I’m so very surprised that it’s still on my list/how did it get there?  At age 12 I managed to love this movie about intense adult themes (love, suicide, shattered dreams) and have it still entertain me seven years later.  About a Boy is just a great tale about a man… and a boy… who are totally different from each other and cross paths only to find a very unlikely friendship in each other.  The British flair combined with a phenomenal soundtrack from Badly Drawn Boy mixed in with the awesome performances by Hugh Grant, Toni Colette, Rachel Weiz, and everyone else involved make for a movie I can watch over and over.  What’s more is I actually love the book as well which proves to be a damn faithful adaptation with just enough GOOD tweaks in the storyline to make both the movie and the book worth enjoying on their own terms.

#5- 9 Souls//director: Toshiyaka Toyoda//starring: Ryuhei Matsuda//release date: 2003
9 Souls is a wonderful film I stumbled upon thanks to Netflix.  9 Souls is the story of nine prisoners who escape from jail to go in search of a treasure that one of their deceased inmates left behind.  While on the journey the nine men end up confronting parts of their pasts that present new tribulations for them to face.  It’s in these trials that the beauty and tragedy of humanity is captured marvelously.  One scene makes me show the most bittersweet smile I could ever display and another makes me cry without fail.  Another scene bedazzles me with tender sincerity juxtaposed to raw lust and another scene makes me cringe as it captures intense violence extremely candidly.  Alongside a brilliant, evocative soundtrack, 9 souls is a cinematic gem to behold and no fan of foreign films can pass it up.

#6- Away We Go//director: Sam Mendes//starring: John Krasinski//release date: 2009
It was between AWG and Almost Famous to see who actually made it to the top 10, and clearly we know who the winner is.  I chose Away We Go because of what it makes me feel.  When I see AWG, I see so so much of myself in John’s character and the journey him and his wife are taking to find a place to settle down is so wonderful to watch unfold.  The first time I saw it I thought of Harriet and I extensively.  In fact, that’s why I love the movie so much!  Parts of it are straight out of our lives while other parts are great simulations as to what’s probably going to happen.  Then the second time I saw it when I TOOK Harriet with me, all we could do was smile and laugh, staring at one another whenever something touching or comical happened.  We looked at each other because that’s exactly who we saw on screen: ourselves.  And with a running time of less than an hour and a half, AWG’s brevity allows me to watch this movie over and over without complaint.

#7- District 9//director: Neil Blomkamp//starring: Sharito Copley//release date: 2009
The allure of District 9 is that it’s a realistic sci-fi movie.  Everything feels like it could happen (or DID happen for that matter) and when I left the movie theatre I was discussing it endlessly with Harriet, going over theories about the different plotlines, talking about all the super sweet scenes- D9 was a ride from start to finish that couldn’t have pleased me more.  I loved how it started out like a documentary then seamlessly became a polished, well-directed film.  Most people didn’t care for that aspect, but I found it inventive and totally appropriate for the story at hand.  Something to note would be the special effects.  They were superior to any other movie I have ever seen and only one scene had a little goof-up that was hardly such.  The rest of the movie felt flawless, having the alien cultures blend seamlessly with real life footage.  I am awaiting the DVD release for this movie rather intensely and cannot wait to enjoy not only the movie, but all the special features I hope that will answer the questions I have concerning the film’s production.

#8- Hitch//director: Andy Tennant//starring: Will Smith//release date: 2005
Hitch is basically the ultimate romantic comedy (next to my #9 choice).  It paints love in a romantic light and leaves behind the lust that most movies accentuate.  Will Smith, as Hitch, even plainly states he is about getting GOOD guys a chance to BE with a good girl- not just hook up with her and go home.  The true success of this movie comes from the cast: Will Smith, Eva Mendes, Kevin James.  I’ve seen this movie well over five times (which is a LOT for me) and never really get tired of it.  The story about a man who messed up his first love trying to help nice guys get their chance at true love is heartwarming and unique and lets Hitch stand high above the other movies of its caliber.

#9- Love Actually//director: Richard Curtis//starring: Hugh Grant//release date: 2003
Oy.  Where to begin with this film dubbed as the “ultimate romantic comedy”?  It’s an ensemble British movie that tells various different stories of love among intertwined persons that is nothing less than amazing.  When LA first came out I couldn’t see it because of the R-rating.  However, senior year I finally sat through it and couldn’t believe how good it was.  There’s really only one way to describe LA, and that’s to say it’s entertaining.  Every “story” within the movie is entertaining and quite frankly, I was totally invested in each one.  I wanted to see what happens so badly!  Oh, did I mention it’s really a Christmas movie too?  Hoorah!  Harriet and I actually made it a tradition of ours to watch it every Christmas.  I probably won’t be with her this year for Christmas… but we’ll definitely sit in our respective homes and watch it together.  I adore this movie to pieces- so much so that it’s a part of a family tradition.

#10- My Neighbors the Yamadas//director: Isao Takahata//starring: Jim Belushi (English dub)//release date: 1999
The best way to describe “the Yamadas” is to call it charming.  I have watched this movie so many times I’ve lost count.  I love turning this movie on when I just want to sit back and relax.  I first saw it after my first day of work at Dominick’s in 2006.  I was beat tired and came home to left over Domo 77 fried rice and had myself a White Tea snapple.  It was about 4 in the afternoon when I started it, took a wonderful nap while watching, and upon finishing it completely, I didn’t quite feel anything towards it right away…  However, when I returned it to Netflix I realized I wanted to see it again!  If my memory serves me right I DID rent it again almost right away, watched it in full for the second time and fell completely in love.  From there I demanded to own it and upon acquiring the DVD for my own personal collection, I watched it once or twice a month for a good year or so.  The short, beautifully animated vignettes about a family (the Yamadas) and their adventures is a joy to watch and never gets old.  The opening sequence about how the mother and father got married and have children is possibly the best part.  Director Isao Takahata uses imaginative imagery like cutting through a bamboo stalk to find a baby showered in golden rays as a way to illustrate the son’s birth.  These delightful analogies always bring a smile to my face and without fail I try locating the cute, inspiring song that plays in the background.  In short, My Neighbors the Yamadas is a great movie that never loses its charm.  It’s a movie I will hold onto for the rest of my life and hope to make a Family Favorite with my children some day.

My dream is to have one!

Am in sertarul biroului pe care mi-am instalat laptopul un mini-calculator, de fapt un personal organizer pe care, in mod evident, nu l-am folosit niciodata ca sa ma organizez; poate doar cel mult prin liceu, pe post de calculator la orele de chimie. Si cam atat. Ei bine, asta micu’ imi da batai de cap in fiecare zi; ma trezesc ca stau eu asa frumos la birou scriind, ascultand muzica, citind, conversand sau mai-stiu-eu-ce si asta micu’ al nostru incepe: “tic tic”, “tic tic”, adica vezi ca am si eu alarma si pot si eu sa fac galagie. Ei bine, dupa lupte seculare care au durat cateva minute, batalia a castigat-o el, caci eu am renuntat sa stau sa analizez de unde anulez zgomotele infernale produse de acest personal organizer care, pentru numele Domnului, nu ma ajuta cu nimic! As putea sa-l arunc, si gata, ma descotorosesc de el.

Povestoara mea nu e chiar degeaba, adica nu am scris-o numai ca sa ma laud ca am un personal noise maker, ci pentru ca, asa simpla si banala cum pare, poate sa-ti trezeasca niste vointe latente. Din simplul motiv ca ne lasam incurcati si enervati ( daca pot spune asa) de niste chestii atat de mici, si ne izbim de niste piedici atat de mici, incat, de cele mai multe ori, nu vedem focul de flacari. As vrea sa stiu ca nu sunt singura care si-a dat seama de asta si ca, in ciuda lucrurilor marunte de care ne impiedicam in fiecare zi reusim sa privim in ansamblu, in perspectiva, si sa ne adunam puterile pentru a ne indeplini scopurile. Stiu ca nu ne-am nascut impreuna cu vreun manual de instructiuni sau cu vreun carnetel de reguli de respectat, dar daca ne limitam la a ne asuma anumite responsabilitati, cred ca putem sa ducem la capat tot ceea ce ne dorim. Stiti cum e aia cu “daca vrei, poti”. Probabil ca vointa nu e mereu de ajuns, dar daca gasesti in tine puterea de a trece peste toate obstacolele, si daca din fiecare inveti cate ceva dar, mai ales, daca stii sa pastrezi tot ce merita, atunci esti un invingator in lupta pentru gasirea visului tau.

Visul meu nu mai este sa am unul. L-am gasit de ceva vreme, dar e doar o forma fara fond. Sunt sigura ca in cel mai scurt timp va incepe sa-si traseze si fondul… Wish you luck, wish me luck!

Un cadou pentru o zi frumoasa:

Stiu ca titlul l-am ales in timpul cursului “Agentiile si firmele de RP”, ieri. Nu mai stiu de ce, dar s-ar putea sa-mi dau seama pe parcurs. Din fericire, prima zi de scoala ( parca suna ca un eveniment extraordinar, care, desi, nu a mai avut loc demult, mi-a dat ceva fluturi prin stomac) a fost surprinzator de placuta, si totusi, intr-o oarecare masura, plictisitoare… adica iti imaginezi cum e sa ai cursuri de la 9 dimineata la 6 seara… nu e tocmai ca la banchet, sau bal, sau petrecere. Dar a fost o zi superba in Sibiu si am apucat sa ne si plimbam putin.

Cel mai incantator lucru pentru mine a fost profu’ de la primul curs, care mi-a dat incredere in mine in timpul scurtelor, dar deselor conversatii pe care le-am avut referitoare la ceea ce ne preda/ discutam. Mi-a spus ca PR-istii nu stiu sa scrie articole de presa de genul interviurilor sau al reportajelor, iar eu m-am trezit spunandu-i ca “ba eu stiu” ( la ce m-oi fi gandit, nu stiu, ca oricum nu sunt PR-ista -inca, poate sunt una in devenire, hopefully), iar apoi l-am lamurit ca specialzarea mea la licenta a fost jurnalismul; iar apoi, evident, intebarea lui “Bine, da’ atunci de unde stii atatea chestii de PR?”… Raspuns: “Pai… am facut in primul an…”. Asta in cadrul unei sali de curs plina de absolventi de “Comunicare si relatii publice” ai aceleiasi facultati la care m-am inscris si eu la master.  The main idea e ca m-am bucurat foarte tare sa observ ca dialogul a fost unul simpatic si prin replicile pe care mi le-a dat, acest profesor m-a determinat sa am o mai mare incredere in mine si sa constat ca n-am fost chiar degeaba la facultate in primul an, si ca, in ciuda faptului ca am picat examenul la PR cu 4 ( eu si cu ceilalti 70% din colegii mei de an) si am luat restanta cu 9, mi-au ramas in minte ideile principale, cu mici scapari, evident, ca la unele intrebari care-mi erau adresate am cam dat-o-n balbaiala. Macar m-am scos cu un zambet larg

Privind acum in perspectiva (si in acelasi timp facand retrospectiva), chiar imi dau seama ca am facut alegerile potrivite, poate cele mai potrivite in ceea ce priveste specializararile alese pentru studii universitare si postuniversitare. Cine stie, poate semestrul urmator ma aleg cu o bursa in Belgia, ca m-am interesat si nu e greu ( nici macar nu trebuie sa fiu prea desteapta ); as fi ales Germania, dar nu stiu limba si nici nu pot sa-i mint c-o stiu, ca o sa ma descoase la interviu. Dar, daca nu, ma mai gandesc, ca am tot timpul dn lume la dispozitia mea.

Voi mai incerca, intre timp, sa-mi deschid totusi un sediu fizic pentru “Biroul suflete” din dotare, caci, pana atunci, chiar si in lipsa unei competente profesionale in domeniul psihologiei, voi acorda sfaturi si povete, in masura in care experienta-mi de viata ma lasa.

In timp ce am scris lucrurile astea am redescoperit-o pe Lucie Silvas… canta superb, enjoy! I wish you a day as beautiful as you are!

well, it’s 1:24pm, and today i woke up in a greeeat mood. i mean – i woke up at 11. so obviously thats a good thing. i had a fabuulous dream, about my future, i really enjoyed it and its given me a slight insight into what i want to be doing with my life, right now. i mean, the dream was probably triggered by what my mom said to me yesterday, apparently – my uncle, who is in Poland, thinks i’m going to be single for the rest of my life. well, to start off, thats the last thing i’m currently worried about. i mean, i’m still not settling for anything other than what i want because i know that i will one day get it, and i can’t wait but if YOU think you know you could be my hitch, then let me know ;] i am indeed looking for my prince charming.. you know – short dark hair, dark features, strong, hairy – not TOO hairy [i bet that sounds so weird], fairly taller then me [ i like wearing heels], nice hands, clean fingernails, must respect the parents!, i would love it if he had a big family, but thats whatever; hahaha but anyway, i mean someone that perhaps resembles my husband, aka gerard butler :

anyway, i for breakfast today i had a greeeeat chicken salad my mommma made for me & i had warm pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream — one of the + of living in a restaurant. lol and i hung out with my little munchkin for a little bit this morning, we watched some spongebob together, now i’m in my bed & listening to ‘new boys – tie me down’ i really like it, and thats how i feel, can’t no boy tie me down – i’m living life the way i want too. i won’t lie, as much as i want a relationship – i love being single.

oh &+ ps for whatever reason, it was snowing all morning! howw freakkin crazyy is that!
