Vorige week deden de Modereporters een nobel ding; ze gaven hun kans op een Jimmy Choo item op, om een video te maken! Dan kun je ze vast wel vergeven dat het even duurde voordat het erop kwam te staan

Elk jaar is het weer een verrassing met welke designer H&M in zee gaat. Dit jaar Jimmy Choo! Er stond een lange rij in Den Haag, mensen stonden te wachten in de regen en daarna die blije gezichtjes; prachtig!

Jimmy Choo shoes have stepped off the red carpet and are walking down our very own streets. H&M have started selling them in ’selected’ stores around the world.

The world? That basically means that most of us are never going to get the chance to set our eyes on these beautiful, highly-discounted shoes, unless we fly half way around the world/country.

Anyway, to go with the shoes, there is a range of clothes, bags and accessories which would compliment the designer shoes - a lot. But, as a student, they are still seem quite expensive to buy. Yes, I see they are THE designer, Jimmy Choo shoes, being sold at a ‘bargain’ price, but when you look at it realistically, with a typical, student bank balance, then they still seem rather pricey.

The most expensive item in the range are a pair of £180, thigh-high boots, which isn’t bad compared to the normal Jimmy Choo price.For £14.99 you can buy the cheapest item in the range, a Jimmy Choo bracelet.

You need to ask yourself though, do you really need them? The answer should always be yes.

So today, I managed to get through 2 of my 6 chapters. Eeeek. I do luckily still have time though! I watched the new episodes of The City and The Hills because the drama in them is absolutely hilarious! Mmmm….and I ordered a pair of black boots from Nine West. Oh and I figured I’d post pictures of the things I bought at H&M yesterday! Why not, right?

Wie der Name schon sagt, werde ich mit einer Review-Reihe über alle meine mehr oder minder guten Lidschatten beginnen.

Den Anfang macht ein Lidschattenset, dass ich bei einer Tour durch H&M entdeckt habe. Ich schätze es gehört zur Silvester/Weihnachtskollektion, insofern ist Eile geboten.

Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich momentan nicht viel sagen, aber sobald ich sie getragen habe, informiere ich Euch.
Die Farben sind einfach toll. Sie glitzern sehr fein aber kräftig und alle Farben, die man für die Wintersaison gebrauchen kann sind vorhanden.

Bei einem Preis von ca. 7€ kann man also für 10 Lidschatten nicht meckern.

Prochaine étape, l’énigme ! Vite passe-partout! Je tremble à l’idée de rencontrer le père Fourras, plus proche d’un personnage du musée Grévin que d’un savant fou, mais espère vraiment pouvoir démêler ses messages sans queue ni tête… Genre “ Lorsqu’il n’est pas industriel, on ne manque pas de l’admirer. Sur le Web, on peut le consulter…de quoi s’agit-il?”

Parce que l’enjeu est de taille.

Si j’arrive à réunir ces foutues clefs, je pourrais alors accéder à cette fameuse salle du trésor…ah, la salle du trésor! Dans celle ci se trouve en effet un billet de loterie… Si je suis gagnante, il me permettra d’obtenir un bonnet rouge…. carte d’accès obligatoire pour pénétrer mon Histoires&Manigances préféré….là, je pourrai shopper (choper ?) la collection C.A.P.S.U.L.E qui s’autodétruira après 1min 50 …. oui, c’est la loi du sablier, et sur cette règle, on ne discute pas.

Non, moi je dis, le coup des bracelets, franchement respect. Le mec qui a osé amener ça sur la table au departement Marketing d’H&M, alors là chapeau. Le problème, c’est que la prochaine fois il faudra que ce soit encore plus grandiose, sinon, forcément, on sera déçu. Pourquoi pas un réality show avec élimination des candidates, chaque semaine pour savoir qui pourra enfin pénétrer le temple des tentations le jour où la collec Rykiel va sortir ? D’autres suggestions?

Vous allez me dire que j’arrive un peu après la bataille (oui, bah en même temps j’ai jamais été une rapide). En soit, cette histoire d’H&M me laisse assez indifférente même si  je comprends parfaitement que cette collection ait été très désirable. J’ai juste été frappée de voir “la peur de manquer” comme argument commercial, portée à ce point à son paroxysme. Et également de constater le succès de la méthode.

Depuis, j’ai l’impression de ne plus voir que ça: cette stratégie vieille comme le monde qui consiste à rendre un objet désirable par son pseudo-caractère unique, exclusif. Parce que si tu ne possèdes pas MAINTENANT, tu risques de ne JAMAIS posséder…. même si au fond, tu ne manques de rien….Vite, vite, telle Lucky Luke, dégainer sa CB plus vite que son ombre, afin de combattre la peur terrible de la pièce SOLD-OUT! Alors que dans – allez, 4 mois?- si tu es un poisson rouge comme moi, tu ne te souviendras même plus de la nature de la pièce tant “convoitée”!

J’avoue me sentir dépassée, ne pas savoir comment me situer dans ce manège qui me donne un peu le tournis! J’aime la mode (ou l’idée que je m’en fais), j’aime la nouveauté, les nouvelles associations… mais s’il s’agit d’une course effrénée contre la montre, m’en voulez pas, mais moi je concourrai dans la catégorie Escargotte!

Planet Awesome Kid Pic

While skimming through my emails today, I came across the cutest blog.  Imagine a kids sartorialist and if you don’t know the Sartorialist, it is a  must see!  Both blogs post pictures of fashion spotted around the streets of the world’s major cities, their only difference is AGE.  Back to Planet Awesome Kid, its truly an awesome idea.  Kids nowadays are  wearing vintage Michael Jackson Tees, Marc Jacobs and Chanel bags, to H&M and Zara Kids.  They mix and match high and low end just like adults, and keep becoming more stylish with time.  The pictures are adorable, and I want to submit Nejmah, my first Cairo Muse to their blog.  She would be a great addition.  I hope you enjoy it like I did.

Var till stan en sväng på eftermiddan och strosade runt, tycker på nåt sätt att det är så himla trist att alla butiker har julpyntat och spelar julmusik redan. Det har inte ens varit första advent ännu!

Men det som tar priset är väl ändå när personalen på en viss butik i stan till och med önskar kunderna god jul, i november?! Visst veckan innan jul är det helt okej men nån gräns får det väl vara…

Såg inte så mycket intressant alls faktiskt, känner att jag befinner mig i nåt slags off-mode sen några dagar tillbaks… Vet inte vad det beror på men jag känner mig inte helt i form.

Hittade iaf en jättefin julklapp till en släkting som jag hoppas kommer bli uppskattad, kan ju inte avslöja vad det är här men det blir nog en bra grej hoppas jag… Jag är sån där som sitter dagarna innan jul och skriver julklappsrim på alla paket *s*. David tycker också det är roligt fast han är inte lika fanatisk men han får glatt hjälpa till iaf haha.

Såg idag att Cdon.com har fraktfritt på alla ordrar fram till 30 november så vi var in och kikade men hittade ingenting speciellt, fanns en del intressanta böcker men jag vill helst köpa böcker i affärn så jag vet om de “tilltalar” mig eller inte.

Fyndade faktiskt en tröja/tunika på KappAhl och en tish på Cubus… Tog båda en storlek större än jag brukar för att få plats med “behagen”, så båda två är storlek L. Men de var fina och båda funkar lika bra till jeans som leggings

Och här kommer dagens outfit som består av lila glittrig klänning från H&M strl 42 och grå jeansleggings från Lindex strl S.

In my post from Friday I raved about my love of well-fitting, well-priced corduroys.  I was so excited about my Friday pants that I decided to wear another pair on Monday.  These I snagged on a recent trip to Unique Thirft Store.  Originally from JCrew and priced at a wopping $79.99, they cost me $12.99, fit like a dream, and their bottle-green color is just lovely.  As has clearly been demonstrated via this blog, I really enjoy wearing green and purple together and this shirt, too, fits wonderfully, so this outfit was a pleasure to wear, especially since I spent most of the day playing on the floor with the Baby C and needed to be able to move around comfortably.

Jag tänker inte gå in på måndags so called maratonlopp där jag kom absolut jävla sist. Istället ska jag publicera min önskelista för i år. Och det kan vara min bästa någonsin. Bon il est certain que je n’irais pas me faire crêper le chignon cette fois ci,  parce que personnellement, même si j’aime beaucoup les sous vêtements, le rose poudré… et les culottes tailles hautes… très peu pour moi !!

L’engouement pour cette collection capsule semble visiblement moins important que pour Jimmy Choo, les fans de Rykiel ont toutes les chances de repartir avec les pièces désirées

Hors saison c’est vrai aussi !… Mais il fallait que je vous fasse profité de cette jolie tunique pintaniére qui n’as pas sa place en cette saison d’hivert mais quand même Tunique acheté 15 malheureux petit euros dans une petite boutique trés Cheap il y a 2 ans . Mon Jegging est un H&M et Chaussures Cheap aussi ! Promis à partir de maintenant je me consentre sur cette époque HIVERNAL et fini les sape pintaniére !
