So, anyway. I’ve started this great new hobby. I sing in a choir !

I know it sounds like I’ve turned into my mother but it is actually really cool. We sing gospel and Motown type stuff and once you stop feeling stupid it is very therapeutic. We ‘ooooohh’ and ‘ahhhhhhh’ as if we were member of the Supremes without the spangly dresses. A girl can dream.

If you’re wondering why I’m sharing this with you it’s because it is also a successful business.  It’s a smart idea and the choirs are spreading. I should imagine that the copyright on the songs and arrangements is the biggest cost and once that is sorted, the more choirs you have the more income you can generate.

But even though I love it and admire the business model I have a problem.

Over-selling.

As a member I am being asked to attend public events, which can only amount to free publicity for the brand, purchase branded clothing and listen to quite a lot of ‘heavy sell’.  When a lot of people are handing over cash for an experience like this it would be better to take a slightly lighter approach and at least give members the illusion that they have a stake in it. If you take your customers for granted then they may vote with their feet.

I am signed up for another term,  so I’m prepared to go with the flow for the moment.  But never under-estimate the consumer, we need to be treated with respect.

Rangkaian di atas ini sangat sederhana dan mudah dirakit dalam waktu singkat dengan hanya menggunakan transistor JFET BF 245, di bagian detektor ditambah oleh 2 buah dioda detector, atau tanpa dioda detector rangkaian ini dapat bekerja dengan baik, akan tetapi dari segi sensitivitas kurang, terutama untuk menerima sinyal-sinyal yang lemah. Data  JFET transistor BF245  dapat diklik disini.  Rangkaian ini dapat menerima frekuensi dari 90 – 150 MHZ, mencakup frekuensi FM, Aircraft Band dimana kita dapat menerima komunikasi antara pilot dengan ATC (air traffic control), dan komunikasi radio amatir di frekuensi VHF atau lazimnya frekuensi 2 meteran. Lilitan dalam rangkaian ini menentukan sekali frekuensi yang akan ditala. Rapat atau renggangnya lilitan akan mempengaruhi lebar frekuensi, Lilitan L1 terdiri dari 2 Lilitan dengan kawat e-mail ukuran 1-1,5 mm diameter lilitan 12 mm, L2 terdiri dari 4 Lilitan dengan kawat e-mail ukuran 1-1,5 mm diameter lilitan 12 mm.  Pembuatan lilitan dapat  dilakukan pada bekas spidol snowman kecil. Antenna dapat menggunakan antenna teleskopik biasa atau pun berupa kabel panjang yang dibentangkan. This has been on my wishlist ever since I first saw this many moons ago when they announced a Queen’s Blade figma to be released as an exclusive bundle to the PSP game.

My friend coffeebugg told me today that he has three of those coming in this January and one of them doesn’t have an owner yet! So I told him right away that I’d be more than happy to take that owner-less figma off his hands.

days. When I say young that really accounts for a large segment

children of all ages including Post-College adults.

Jeep Jamboree Medan tampil menjadi Juara Umum dan Juara 1 up kelas 2.500 cc pada event Offroad Jelajah Alam Tapsel 2009. Dengan kemenangan ini, Jeep Jamboree Medan berhak membawa pulang 1 unit Suzuki Jimny besutan tahun 85 dan 1 Yamaha Vega.

Ponco, starter nomor 46 dari Jeep Jamboree Medan, menjuarai kelas up 2.500cc pada event offroad Jelajah Alam Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Tapanuli Selatan yang diadakan pada Jumat-Minggu (20-22/11) kemarin. Ponco berturut-turut diikuti Toni Harahap (no start 18) asal klub Blue White, Riau dan Agung (no start 17), juga asal Blue White, Riau.

Tim Jeep Jamboree Medan sendiri menurunkan delapan unit jip yang merupakan gabungan offroader dari Pengda Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) dengan Indonesian Offroad Federation (IOF) Komda Sumut dalam event ini.

Jelajah alam kali ini diikuti 33 peserta asal SOC Tapsel, Exalga Padang Sidempuan, Jeep Jamboree Tapsel, Jeep Jamboree Medan, Blue White Riau, Pasaman Offroad, dan beberapa klub lain dari Jambi, Padang dan Pekanbaru.

Adapun rute jelajah alam, dimulai dari Kecamatan Angkola Timur hingga ke sirkuit buatan pertapakan Kantor Bupati Tapsel di Sipirok, pelaksanaan kegiatan ini sepenuhnya dilaksanakan atas kerjasama Jeep Jamboree Padang Sidempuan-Tapsel dengan Komisariat Cabang (Komcab) IOF Tapsel-Padang Sidempuan dengan klasifikasi kendaraan berpenggerak empat roda (4WD).

Jumat (20/11) lalu, seluruh peserta diwajibkan mengikuti briefing dan scrutineering.

Kontributor kami, Adeck Firamadhani, yang juga anggota tim Jeep Jamboree Medan mengatakan, tepat pada pukul 17.00 WIB, hari Jumat lalu, seluruh peserta dilepas untuk melintasi Country Road (CR) yang melalui 6 pos waktu. Peserta yang dapat melalui pos waktu dengan lengkap akan mendapatkan deposit point. “Lintasan CR ini sangat beragam, seperti berbatuan, lumpur, menaiki bukit dan tanjakan curam,” tulis Adeck dalam laporannya.

Panitia menyediakan waktu tempuh selama 14 jam untuk “menghabiskan” country road yang start dari Simirik dan finish di Desa Sialaman ini. Pada Sabtu, peserta diberikan sajian 3 special competition state (SCS) dan Minggu 2 SCS.

Pertarungan antar offroader sendiri berlangsung ketat. Di tengah panasnya terik matahari di lintasan offroad, tim Jeep Jamboree sempat menduduki posisi runner up di hari kedua (SCS).

Sementara itu, warga Tapsel terlihat antusias untuk menyaksikan event yang digelar oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan dalam rangka menyambut HUT Pemkab Tapanuli Selatan ke-59 yang mengambil rute wilayah Kecamatan Angkola Timur sampai Kecamatan Sipirok.

Sebelumnya, Bupati Tapsel Ongku P Hasibuan didampingi Ketua Pengda Indonesian Offroad Federation (IOF) Sumut Isfan Fahruddin Daulay, dan Ketua Pengcab IOF Tapsel-P. Sidempuan Maragunung, melepas peserta dari halaman kantor bupati.

Ongku mengharapkan Jelajah Alam ini dijadikan agenda rutin dan kalender tahunan Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) untuk mendukung perkembangan dunia otomotif Tapsel yang memiliki kondisi alam cukup menantang. Tapsel sudah empat kali melaksanakan lomba Jelajah Alam dan tinggal selangkah lagi untuk dijadikan agenda nasional.

Peserta dengan total waktu terbaik dan point tertinggi dari country road dan kelima SCS ini berhak menjadi juara umum dan memenangkan 1 unit Suzuki Jimny 85. Sedangkan juara Kelas (up dan below 2.500 cc) mendapatkan 1 unit Yamaha Vega, juara 2 mendapatkan Winch dan uang pembinaan dan juara 3 mendapatkan Lift Jack dan uang pembinaan.

my biggest concern will be in the team that i’ve been support since i was a kid.. Juventus will face Bordeaux this mid week.

I love taking pictures. But my camera (including different lenses, film, and other accessories…and a really cute camera bag) was stollen by my asshole former neighbours (residing at 357 S. Evergreen Dr. in Ventura, CA) and I can no longer take proper pictures. All I have is a $40 cell phone with a teeny-tiny camera. Definately a step down.

Reduce da un brutto fine settimana per colpa di motivi personali (mio padre che si incazzava con mio frattello e ovviamente immischiavano tutti a me <.<, come direbbe mariello è un Mmmisttero) oggi sono stato ad una fiera che si è tenuta a velletri una zona non poco distante dove abito io. In questa “fiera” si poteva trovare di tutto, dai lampadari in rame ai mobiletti di legno, giocattoli per bambini, bancarelle varie persino quello che vendeva le pannocchie, insomma è una vera propria festa di paese xD. I miei ne hanno approfittato per fare i primi regali di natale (che a pensarci bene ormai manca davvero poco, quasi un mese) mentre io come al solito avevo adocchiato un modellino di chiattara ( e come sapete bene sono music addicted) che alla fine sono riuscito a comprare *-*
Bellina vero? diciamo che è stato amore a prima vista, non ho potuto fare a me di portarmela a casa ora mi manca solo una cosa da fare, trovarci un posto dove non si rovini xD. Dopo essere stati piu di mezza giornata ci siamo decisi a tornare alla base dove durante la strada ci siamo fermati a fare una foto al panorama dove è sempre uno spettacolo poterlo ammirare
Che spettacolo! ogni volta che ci passiamo non riusciamo mai ad ammirarlo come si deve per via della fretta ma ogni tanto capita che ci riusciamo e questo è il risultato ^_^.
Bene ultimo ma non di meno importanza sono riuscito a portare avanti il modellino dell’ O gundam cambiando il colore del torso e installando finalmente la fornace solare dopo un sacco di volte che l’ho dovuta ricolorare e finalmente con orgoglio posso dire Gn Drive matching clear xD (frase celebre dell’ultimo episodio della seconda stagione)
Bene e con questo ho proprio detto tutto, ci risentiamo al prossimo aggiornamento ciao.

Finally!!!

It took a little longer than I had expected, but I have completed my 1985 Topps #1 Draft Pick subset.  I posted each card individually for you with some insight as to how these guys and their professional careers panned out.  Some were impressive while others did not get the job done…

And even though the ranking of #1 pick connotes greatness, it is very obvious that it takes a very rare player to meet or exceed the expectations of this title.  Of this group of players, only 2 met the expectations – Darryl Strawberry and Harold Baines.  Each had very impressive careers, and were multiple time All-stars.  Of the remaining guys, Shawon Dunston, Bob Horner, and Mike Moore also fared pretty well in the majors yet fell short of what is expected of a player selected first in their draft class.  The rest of the guys may have shown flashes of greatness from time to time, but were definitely not able to achieve what was expected of them.

Komme gerade mit Joshi von der Einschulungsuntersuchung zurück. Er ist nun auch aus Sicht des Gesundheitsamtes ein Schulkind. Er hat alles prima mitgemacht, nur mit dem malen hat er es nicht so, aber das war uns schon länger bekannt. Ansonsten alles Top *freu*. Auf dem Rückweg noch schnell auf der Post vorbei um nen Schwung verkaufter E.Ba.Y Sachen zu ihren neuen Besitzern zu schicken. Ebenfalls noch bei ner Schulkollegin von Anna die Hausaufgaben abgeholt, damit´s Töchterlein nicht all zu vielverpasst. Jetzt noch mit Lukas das Gedicht zu ender lernen, Mama hat schon gute Vorarbeit geleistet und dann Joshi zum Fußballtraining bringen. Ach und später steht janoch der Tierarzt termin an. Und gegen Abend noch Fußpflege, Tanztraining mit der Schwester und Chor für Anna u. Gregor. Nee, langeweile kennen wir so gut wie gar nicht *grins*.

Lilla jag Februari 1989, bara barnet…på Finlandsbåten, samma båt som DÅ hette Vasa King, som idag heter Estonia… R.I.P… Jag förundras än idag hur fotot kunde återge min ögonfärg till SÅ BLÅ där på fotot när mina ögon egentligen är GRÖNA…?

Det tar lite tid eftersom ryggen värker så jag orkar bara sitta korta stunder. Jag får vila emellanåt. Det är riktigt roligt att scanna gamla foton, bara min scanner ville samarbeta! Det är något galet med den så det tar extremt lång tid att scanna, bilderna blir inte bra och man får göra om flera gånger… MEN, jag har skrivit till Tomten och önskat mej en ny Scanner/Skrivare/Kopiator – Multimaskin i julklapp! Håller tummarna att Tomten tycker att jag varit SÅ SNÄLL…

In a world where people want to berate you for spending on your passions instead of socking all your money away for that weird thing called retirement, which is defined differently for everyone anyhow…… I am not alone!

One cool blogger, Well-Heeled, is there in that horrible, bad-bad-awful-you-for-spending-money-on-something-you-like-but-isn’t-necessary category. Yes, budgeted money…. But OMG, money being SPENT. *Horror*

Think for yourself

Or, more commonly heard, think outside the box. Just because everyone seems to be harping on something doesn’t mean a damn thing.

This isn’t always true, so do keep that in mind. Yes, it’s a great idea to save and invest for the future…. It would be irresponsible of me to say otherwise. But I do that, and I still get to spend money on my favorite hobby ever, cars!

It’s just a balancing act.

While saving and investing can be as fun or as dull as you make it out to be, spending money on what makes you happy will always win out in fun-ness. Hands down, you’d rather spend $1000 on what makes you happy… For some wacky people, that is savings, or paying down debt, or investing. For most people, I’m sure, it’s either using it to buy something they’ve been wanting or save it for something they’re wanting. (Savings being saved money for the sake of having money saved, not quite the same as putting money away specifically for something. In my mind, anyhow.)

I’ve already talked about how my cars honestly aren’t that expensive to begin with. Couple that with diligently putting them at the top of my priorities list and this is what you get: my life with my cars! Yes, I could be way more dedicated… But I gotta pamper myself too. I don’t feel like being a dowdy girl with beautiful cars. I want to be beautiful too!

I mean, it’s way more fun to be the kind of girl that guys would never expect to be into cars in a million years. Let alone look like I’d never willingly get dirty…. But have I ever mentioned I do my own oil changes? And have installed quite a few parts on my Miata myself? And continue to be the right-hand helper in 240SX modding?

Not only do I enjoy my cars as my hobby, but I enjoy shaking up the status quo just as much. Maybe a bit more…. Definitely behind racing, though. Nothing beats racing to me.

Cars for me, what’s it for you?

Of course, anyone ought to be able to relate here. For Well-Heeled, it’s dancing… Tango, to be exact. (Which sounds wonderful! But my husband won’t take classes with me. ) For me, it’s cars and racing. I only hope that everyone could find that one thing that speaks to them, that’s worth every penny spent for every second of the experience.

In my first track outing, I cannot explain to you what it gave to me…. I’m incapable of using any of the multitude of words in the English language to put together accurately enough to reflect what I got out of it. It was me. It was where I belonged, where I wanted to work and improve and belong even more. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else, and I have a deep longing to get back out there, to hug those curves again and improve each and every lap.

I’d feel sorry for anyone who lived their whole lives never knowing such deep enjoyments of a passion. It’s just horrible to think it would happen, yet I’m sure it has.

Just don’t shoot yourself in the foot…

Now, don’t go and take this as an excuse to spend whatever you want. It isn’t.

What I’m saying is that we shouldn’t ever feel that we need to scrimp, save and sacrifice everything for some off-in-the-future life that you may or may not get to enjoy, let alone live to see or even want when you get there. People change and grow over time, you can’t say for sure what you’d want to have or where you’d like to be in three-plus decades.

So go on, save a little, invest a little and spend a little. Or spend a lot. As long as you aren’t spending everything, or everything and then some… You’ll be okay. You’ll live.And you’ll probably be a lot happier than those who aren’t taking the time to stop, smell and enjoy the roses.

Not saying that those who are happy living on nothing and not really doing much aren’t, well, happy… It’s just that a life like that isn’t for everyone.

Live the life you want to, be responsible and let yourself enjoy what you enjoy. People may hate you for it, but they’re probably jealous that they can’t be so happy with themselves… So let the haters hate. You won’t be alone!

When you turn your hobby into a business? There are many good craft enthusiasts out there. Have a good, if not sometimes better than those who chose to live in their camps.

The difference between an amateur and a professional is an amateur who is not paid for their work in which a seller. This figure is slightly changed in recent years, while fans are people who are happy to create pieces to give as gifts or to sell to cover somecost of a professional to sell their pieces so they can cover their costs and profit.

The good part in the boat again, is that to go from hobby to profession should not be a difficult process. Many artisans have the chance to respect that can go have fun and make progress in mastering their art to a level of a serious amateur with the finals to put their experience and knowledge to make money Decent.

Part Time vs.Full Time

Unless you're lucky enough to make your daily work in artisanal work of art begins to adjust their business part time and then gradually grow their businesses in operation full time. Create your business part-time, time can offer many advantages here are some points to consider when you run:

• Are you able to get an idea of the possibilities of your business and the markets before you spend all your time.
• You can still keep your full time job andcurrent income while working at your place of part-time work at home.
• If you are not working, but you need extra money to work part-time business then you can work part-time employment to make ends meet.
• Building a cash reserve that is, allowing you to finance the operation of your first full year.
• Attend classes to improve your skills, this time comes, will be more difficult when you have a time full year of business.
• Establish appropriate businessin your spare time without financial hardship.

• Start looking at the of numerous business related details like creating a logo, business cards, letterhead, brochures, and a Yellow Pages listing.

• Set up files and establish customer accounts, vendor accounts, and bank accounts.

• Let your business grow until it’s making your projected or required full-time income.

If you’re a part time home based artisan you can do all of this and more until you feel that you are ready take on a full-time. It is a good way to begin to establish funds that will be needed in your business while gaining valuable experience in other related fields.
