I took family photos for some people I’ve babysat for with Dillon. I was really just tagging along. Dillon and his mom were the real photographers there.

Nueva Rumasa acaba de lanzar la tercera emisión de sus ya famosos pagarés al 8% anual con una inversión mínima de 50.000€. No hay que olvidar que que este holding familiar lleva tres emisiones en menos de un año, todos hemos visto algún anuncio publicitario sobre la oferta.

Sin embargo, de nuevo es necesario recordar las advertencias de la CNMV (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores), que en dos ocasiones ha reiterado que se desentiende de este tipo de inversión, es decir, no puede aconsejar o desanconsejar sobre la compra de estos pagarés. En sus comunicados realiza una serie de advertencias después de que algunos inversores (algunos medios que  han mostrado su interés de compra solo para investigar la inversión) se hayan encontrado con anomalías en el contrato y garantía de la emisión.

Sin entrar en grandes detalles, básicamente, lo que se descubre tras llamar a la puerta de Nueva Rumasa, es que los pagarés son del tipo “no a la orden´´, es decir, para el comprador será obligatorio retenerlos un año entero sin poder venderlos a un segundo inversor en caso de necesitar la liquidez.  En cuanto a las garantías, éstas generan bastante desconfianza; en el contrato se nos habla del hotel Beverly Park (propiedad de NR), sobre sus prestaciones y servicios. El inversor no está informándose sobre destinos turísticos, sino que busca datos del emisor y sus garantías que generen seguridad. La segunda supuesta garantía, es la de los brandis de Bodegas Valdivia de Cádiz, que pertenece al Grupo Garvey, esta empresa no se encuentra inscrita en el Registro de Bienes Muebles.

Sin haber profnudizado en las ventajas e inconvenientes sobre la emisión de Nueva Rumasa, parace claro que la rentabilidad ofracida es desorbitada para el momento acutal del mercado, con los numerosos riesgos que implica. La empresa busa el dinero de inversores, que en nigún caso tienen apuros económicos, no hay que olvidar que el nominal es de 50.000€, que pueden arrpentirse si no se informan adecuadamente antes de comprar los pagarés.

También, hace referencia a la imagen corporativa y su estructura organizativa:

“Facebook es una empresa joven, de rapidísimo crecimiento, pero comienza a tener problemas en algunos países con su modelo de privacidad, que ya ha cambiado hasta en dos ocasiones en 2009. La compañía ha reorganizado su estructura a imagen y semejanza de otros gigantes tecnológicos como Google, que tienen en España simples oficinas comerciales de representación, marketing y venta de sus productos globales.”

Being a parent can often pose a problem to holding your adjustment.

Let me explain.

I have four kids ages six and under. I have run the gamut of walking a fussy baby to sleep to putting a toddler back to sleep in their own small bed. These types of instances typically take place very late at night, in the middle of the night, or very early in the morning. As parents, we are usually half-asleep when we comfort our little ones back to sleep. We are so tired, in fact, that not a whole lot of attention is given to our posture.

When this happens, you can throw holding an adjustment out the window.

Let’s think about it for a moment. When walking a baby back to sleep, it is usually done with the baby held close to our chest as pace back and forth hunched over. When putting a toddler back to sleep in their bed, I have often fallen asleep as well. Many times, I woke up in a very odd, kinked position which did not start my day off on the right foot. I have often seen my wife hold the baby on one of her hips when tired, tilting her pelvis so that one leg is bent and other is long. This in turn tilts the spine, which compensates all the way up to the skull.

Let’s think about what these positions do to us long-term.

When hunched over the baby as you walk him/her asleep, your suboccipital muscles are put under an immense amount of stress. The suboccipital muscles have been shown to have a very dense number of muscle spindle cells and GTOs (Golgi tendon organs). Muscle spindles measure the rate of change in muscle length, monitoring joint position as it relates to the muscle. GTOs measure muscle tension.

Walking hunched over like this can cause a very substantial alteration in the tone of the suboccipital muscles. It can lead to a tightening on one side or both, which often times can be the cause of tension headaches or cervicogenic headaches. A good tip to remember is to keep your chin up while walking the baby to sleep.

What about putting your child back to sleep and ending up in an awkward position yourself? The best position to fall asleep is flat on your back, with a pillow under your cervical spine. If you fall asleep on your side, you don’t want your head to be anything but perpendicular to your shoulders. As Dr. Tanase pointed out here, you don’t want your head tilted up or down when sleeping on your side.

Holding the baby on the hip, which is actually very common to see, is the perfect way to put unnecessary stress or tension on your bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. When done often, this can lead to postural alterations that could develop into a number of different chronic pain conditions. A different way to hold your baby is to have the baby basically sitting on one of your forearms while wrapping your other arm around the front of the baby’s chest. This is also a good way for moms to build up some strength in your biceps.

So next time your child wakes you up or keeps you up, try remembering these tips. If you don’t, you might end up walking around like Quasimodo.

Lovers and Friends

          Love is something people see everyday.  With the places I go, I see young love, further known as “puppy love,” almost everywhere.  Most young love starts off as friendships, and then grows into something more special, but with some couples, you wouldn’t be able to tell whether they’re couples, or best friends.

          I decided to photograph “Lovers and Friends” to display how the best couples are made up of the best friends.  What inspired me to take these images was the way I noticed I act around my boyfriend.  We started off as friends in high school, for over three years, never knowing that we would end up being “high-school sweethearts.”  Now that we’re a year and a half deep into our relationship, and almost 4 years deep as being best friends, we still have that playful friendship that we had when we first met.

          Best friends play around, laugh, argue, and tell each other everything, and that’s the kind of affection displayed in these images I took, by this young couple.  Pay attention to the body language, the comfort, and the happiness this couple expresses in the images.

«Giudico interessanti le proposte avanzate dal segretario romano dell’Udc, Francesco Carducci, soprattutto quando parla di interventi a sostegno delle famiglie a basso reddito maggiormente colpite dalla crisi, utilizzando risorse risparmiate dalla creazione di una nuova holding e con una piccola percentuale ricavabile dalle risorse che il Comune riceve dallo Stato per Roma Capitale. This song, I woke up , first thing I do is put music on and this comes up and just last night I had a talk  with someone about how I can sometimes be shy (no ONE believes me that I could be extremely shy when it comes to say certain things) I just look around and stutter and when trying to give a compliment I go over the branches and explain my compliment before actually saying it then when I hear this song it is pretty clear why, and how a lot of people don’t understand me , why I do what I do , why I say what I say but believe me there is a reason behind it all…We spoke about living alone, about how one thing is being lonely the other is being alone.. a totally different thing.

It’s so great to talk to someone and know this person is not judging, that accepts YOU entirely with flaws, everything you have and don’t and  it’s just there supporting you holding you up..

And it’s so funny how sometimes we have a ton of music, several playlist but in the right time certain songs, images , a someone in the street comes over  and tells you something and PUM!! it just clicks

Finanza creativa

La costituzione della Holding con cui il Comune intenderebbe finanziare diversi progetti futuri, preso com’è dalle ristrettezze di bilancio, presenta tanti, troppi elementi critici che rendono questa questione tremendamente complicata e che fa sperare nella non realizzazione di questo nuovo strumento di moltiplicazione del debito. Sul tema generale delle ristrettezze economiche del bilancio occorre tornare a sottolineare, non per fare i grilli parlanti, che dal 2006 personalmente ho più volte criticato una spesa per investimenti di cui oggi paghiamo gli effetti (i tassi d’interesse dei mutui bloccano la spesa corrente e non consentono ulteriori investimenti), investimenti di cui francamente la città non ha colto alcun effetto positivo. Oggi con la Holding rischiamo di far piombare le finanze locali in un circolo vizioso i cui effetti saranno pagati dai cittadini. Intanto è sempre stato detto che la Holding non avrebbe avuto un consiglio di amministrazione, mentre si scopre che questo costerà 250mila euro. Nel dettaglio gli elementi critici sono quelli di una non linearità rispetto a dispositivi di legge che devono rendere, nel caso di costituzione di nuove aziende, l’azione di queste aziende coerente con le finalità istituzionali dell’ente, cosa quest’ultima non affatto contemplata dallo studio di fattibilità. Questa Holding partirebbe con oneri assunti dal comune del valore complessivo di 6,4 milioni, senza contare le decine di milioni di debiti che dovrebbe contrarre con le banche ed è verosimile pensare che ad una possibile insolvenza a risanare dovrà pensarci il Comune, ovvero tutti noi. La Holding produrrà una disomogeneità delle strutture e delle singole partecipate, determinando una riduzione complessiva del valore delle aziende; allungandosi la catena di controllo il Comune avrà ancora maggiori difficoltà nell’attivare sinergie e le necessarie razionalizzazioni delle aziende da esso stesso controllate. Vi sarà, insomma una sovrapposizione di strutture onerose con ampie aree di irresponsabilità in un contesto di scarsa trasparenza dove gli organi democraticamente eletti con funzioni di controllo e indirizzo verranno scavalcati, infatti l’amministratore unico dovrà rendere conto solo al Sindaco. A conti fatti la costituzione della Holding risulta solo un abile artifizio per aggirare il patto di stabilità e per pagare meno tasse con il paradosso che a promuovere e indirizzare questo aggiramento è un soggetto pubblico, una istituzione della Repubblica, cioè il Comune. Il rischio che già oggi si prefigura, a mio modo di vedere, è quello di una devastazione delle finanze comunali. A questo punto, prima che il danno sia compiuto, non rimane che da chiedere, come peraltro si è fatto da tempo, ad una inversione dei propositi dell’amministrazione bloccando questo progetto.
