Đã draft một cái để khen một con ‘hơi thông minh’ rồi. Cơ mà nghĩ lại thấy it’s such a gossip về một con ‘hơi thông minh’ thì tội cho nó nên del cái draft đi. Thế mà đek hiểu sao con óc dài này nó cứ thích gây sự với mình. Mà mje, óc dài nhưng mịn nên éo biết nó ‘hơi thông minh’ chứ.

Mình nghĩ bụng, nội dung những cái mail này mình ko nên viết ra đây vì it is private to someone else nhưng mà các bạn – ai không muốn đọc thì stop from here. mà ai muốn đọc thì cứ đọc đi, những gì không private mình viết mje ra hết. éo phải gossip nhớ. it’s based on the truth of một con NGU. Éo trình bày nữa. Chuyện thế này.

Hoá ra lớp mình có một bạn bị tự kỷ…

Hơn 4 năm học lớp mình, éo thấy con nào thông minh. Lúc nào cũng gọi nhau là lợn, pigs với chả bọn NGU và chả đứa nào cãi về cái sự thông minh xa xỉ cả. Thế mà một ngày đẹp trời, có một con ‘hơi thông minh’ cãi nhau với 1 con ngu xong gửi mie cuộc nói chuyện cho cả lớp với lời nhắn nhủ ‘Hoá ra lớp mình có một con ngu’. Ôi mình thích vãi chưởng, đọc đọc mắt căng tròn ngây thơ cố đọc hết cuộc nói chuyện (chỉ để kiểm chứng lớp mình có con nào thông minh không). Vãi chưởng tập hai, chẳng có cái đek gì liên quan đến mình! Cũng chả có cái đek gì liên quan đến lớp mình! Vãi chưởng tập 3, tự dưng đoạn cuối con ‘hơi thông minh’ độc thoại nội tâm một mình kiểu chửi bởi con ngu loạn lên, và nó sẽ gửi cuộc nói chuyện cho ‘cả lớp’ để mọi người biết ‘hoá ra lớp mình có một con ngu’!!! Suy nghĩ ba giây… Mình vừa phát hiện ra…(mất những ba giây cơ đấy – ngu vãi!! Bình thường á, người ta chỉ mất 1 giây để nhận ra điều này thôi!!!!)  Lớp mình có một con tự kỷ!

Thấy nó tự kỷ, mình thương, mình reply ăn nói nhẹ nhàng với nó, ‘trình bày 3 vấn đề’ gỏn gọn trong 3 câu – 1- “Uốn lưỡi bảy lần trước khi nói” – hi vọng ‘nó’ đã suy nghĩ kĩ trước khi gửi cái mail này cho cả lớp. 2- mình thấy mail này thật ngớ ngẩn vì chả liên quan đến ai. 3- mình không thích đọc junk mail nên hi vọng không nhận được thư nào như thế nữa.

Éo hiểu nó ‘hơi thông minh’ thật hay là học đòi ‘thông minh’. Nó reply lại mình với 3 nội dung éo liên quan – 1- nó thích thì nó gửi mail, ai thích đọc thì đọc (tự kỷ nặng). 2- câu ‘uốn lưỡi bảy lần…’ chả liên quan gì đến việc nó gửi mail (mje thông minh vãi chưởng). 3-nó không để ý là có mail mình trong cái list email (mje, con này mất trí nữa – khổ thân quá)

Thấy tội nghiệp con bé ‘hơi thông minh’ – tự kỷ và mất trí này, mình chả reply nữa. Vì với 3 trong 1 kia thì …. haizzz… viết sao cho nó hiểu được!!!

Hoá ra lớp mình có 1 bạn ‘đú sạch’ ?!?

Mình gọi điện than thở với một con ngu khác… than là tội nghiệp nó quá… trông thế mà ‘hơi thông minh’. Và mình được mở mang đầu óc khi biết răng. Hơn bốn năm học đại học. Mình là một con quá NGU khi mà một con ‘hơi thông minh’ chỉ thẳng sau gáy chửi mình là con đú bẩn. Kèm theo đấy là một danh sách thành một hội 7 con đú bẩn. (mje nó chứ, mình mà biết sớm mình đã cạch mje cái mặt nó ra, éo cần nói chuyện làm hàng xã giao rồi! Mà mje, lúc đấy 7 con còn chưa nhớ hết mặt nhau. mà mie, càng éo chịu được khi mà mình chả hiểu định nghĩa ‘đú bẩn’ của nó là gồm cái thành phần gì. Thôi thì mình đành phát hiện ra, lớp mình có một con ‘đú sạch’ – ôi 4 trong 1!

Chuyện lại thế này, 6 con đú bẩn là chính định may áo cứ nhân nên rủ cả lớp may cùng. Rủ cho gọi là có thôi chứ báu bở gì đâu. May rồi cái gì cũng đến tay mấy con đú bẩn này đi mua vải, đi đo, đi may, thu tiền, trả tiền, và lo trả áo cho các bạn thôi chứ ai làm. Tặc lưỡi một cái, thôi rủ lớp làm cho vui, ai làm thì làm, ai ko làm thì thôi.

Gửi mẫu cho cả lớp, có 4 mẫu, cái bạn ‘hơi thông minh’ ý, bạn ý chọn 1 mẫu (mà bạn gì ý gửi cho cả lớp xem) xong bạn ý bảo 3 mẫu kia xấu bỏ mje. (mk, 3 mẫu kia của mình gửi T.T) Về sau mọi người ý kiến ý cò biểu quyết, thế là chọn 2 mẫu có số phiếu bầu cao nhất – Ba phiếu T.T trong khi 2 cái kia mỗi cái 2 phiếu T.T (lớp mình có 24 mống đấy các bạn ạ T.T – các bạn lớp mình tính điềm đạm, chả mail mấy)

Có một bạn, bạn ý rút không may… Mình cũng thừa biết là sẽ thế rồi nhưng kệ, ai may thì may chứ, tự dưng dở hơi đâu mà bảo chúng mày đừng may, để bọn tao mặc thôi!! Con ‘hơi thông minh’ và ‘đú sạch’ bảo nó sẽ không may nữa, và nêu ý kiến là ai may thì đăng kí. Mình đang rất friendly, nhắn lại cái tin đồng ý với ý kiến của nó, và có nguyên văn một câu là ‘Ai chứ Hải Anh thì lạ gì. Bộ này xấu mà!’ – Mà mje, mình quên mje mất là nó mất trí nữa, chắc nó cũng chả nhớ là nó chê mấy bộ kia ‘xấu bỏ mẹ’. Mình nhấn nút ‘Send’.

Ngày Giáng sinh đẹp trời, ăn chơi quên nghỉ check mail. Ngày 25 ngủ nghỉ bù sức. Ngày 26 nhoài người ra đường không ngừng nghỉ. Để đến đêm nay – sáng sớm 27, đọc được cái mail, cái con dở người nó “DM” mình. ‘Đeo hieu ban biet gi ve minh ma thot’ len cau day’.

Death toll for 2009 rises yet again.  Actress Brittany Murphy died early Sunday morning, killing King of the Hill star Luanne Platter in the process.  Yahoo has the details:

“Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Murphy apparently collapsed in the bathroom, and authorities were looking into her medical history.

An official cause of death may not be determined for some time, since toxicology tests will be required, but “it appears to be natural,” Winter said. He said an autopsy was planned for Monday or Tuesday.”

This totally sucks.  Brittany was number 2 on my list of “Celebrity babes that should show their boobs”; right behind Rose Mcgowan.

Technically this is the third-coming, which makes me two better than Jesus.

Throughout the course of researching for my debut book Holy Shit: A Brief Look at Christianity’s Problem I ran into some interesting characters, some of whom I discussed in my book. One of the people I didn’t mention was an “Apostle” from the Church of Christ, Temple Lot who insisted to me that all humans were a natural enemy to God. I, of course contended.

One of the key doctrines in many Christian churches is the idea of original sin. Original sin can be defined as “a consequence of this first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our origins or descent by Adam”.

There was a purpose for the original sin doctrine just as there was a purpose for choosing Christianity as the Roman religion. Christianity wasn’t chosen because Constantine had some deep conversion, in fact, he wasn’t even baptized until he was on his death bed so he could keep on sinning. But rather it was chosen because it was void of thought.

Being a religion of the book, Christianity was a means through which Rome could control its mass population. There were quarrels breaking out between the Christians and the Pagans as the Pagans believed “to each his own” and the Christians believed “believe this way or go to hell.”

There isn’t a better way to control people than declare a national religion. Islamic nations do it all the time. It is, however, easier to do this with religions of the book, i.e.: Judaism, Islam and Christianity. It’s harder to argue against a book that is claiming to be written by God. The thinking has sort of been done for you, if you will. And if you keep the said religious book out of the hands of the population, keep them ignorant (as was done in the Middle Ages), well of course they will rely on religious leaders to tell them what is and what isn’t right. This becomes the ultimate source for truth regarding religion, politics and society. Think of the teachers of logic, reason, science and so forth prior the second century. People like Aristotle and Plato would have been burnt at the stake in the mid-evil time period. “Why?” you ask. The answer is simple: because these men THOUGHT and encouraged THINKING. Thinking was basically outlawed once the Roman Empire declared Christianity its national religion.

Original Sin is a doctrine with a purpose. I’ll spare you the details, but the gist is this: Without original sin, the Church and priests aren’t needed. Original Sin gives the Church a purpose!

The concept of original sin is this: Because Adam sinned, all mankind is sinful. It’s sort of like saying it’s your fault the gunmen, at yesterday’s gas station robbery, shot the cashier. We all know that isn’t a logical argument. But try going up against Augustine back in the day. You would have been thrown into a trial, found guilty and disposed of accordingly.

Nothing says religious truth like a hearty helping of fear to go along with your Catechism lesson.

The Church most likely declared the Gospel of St. Thomas a heresy because of this one statement: …If your leaders tell you, “Look, the Kingdom is in heaven,” then the birds of heaven precede you. It they say to you, “It’s in the seas,” then the fish will precede you.  But the kingdom is inside you and it is outside you (Gospel of Thomas saying 3).

Without a belief in a need for spiritual leaders the reason for the Church becomes void. Thus the need for the doctrine of original sin and declaring books like the Gospel of Thomas a heresy.

The Church successfully through the years has preyed on the emotion of fear causing the adherent to fear for their immortal life and their eternal salvation. Now, I don’t care what anyone says: From the animal perspective those in religions are controlled by fear.

But what is worse, to justify the purpose of the Church, the Church preys on the emotion of self-esteem and it does it through the teaching of original sin.

According to an article found at http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/11312a.html original sin may be taken to mean: (1) the sin that Adam committed; (2) a consequence of this first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our origins or descent from Adam. Just by mere association with the human race, you are guilty of sin, whether sinful or not.

So what does that mean? That means that baby, that sweet, screaming, pooping bundle of joy is guilty of sin. “No?” you say, Well thank God you can think.

“Saint” Augustine fiercely taught that original sin was the true condition of mankind and did so until it was accepted as doctrine.

It has remained a doctrine and is evident in the practices of infant baptism as seen in many forms of Christianity around the world today.

Augustine, a guy who apparently couldn’t get any, decided that original sin was passed through the concupiscence (which basically means lust) that accompanied sexual reproduction. God forbid you find your spouse attractive and want to jump their bod! Augustine believed that everyone was present when Adam sinned and therefore all have sinned. He also had this nutty idea that mankind inherited Adam’s guilt and because humans were therefore sinners they were depraved in nature and couldn’t respond to the will of God without divine grace.

What I’m basically getting out of that thought is that we all are a bunch of idiots incapable of making our own decisions. (Thus the need for the Church…see how this works?)

The doctrine of original sin has spread itself like an infectious disease throughout the world and has penetrated the lives and hearts of people so deeply that the “Apostle” I mentioned before was sincere in telling me that I was evil and would go to hell unless I repented of all my sins.  He was sincere in telling me that every human being on earth was sinful and therefore worthy of hell. I wanted to introduce him to Fred Phelps. But as radical as this may sound, I say, we aren’t born sinful or evil. We humans are capable of evil things, yes, but those are learned behaviors, NOT inherent.

If there is a Creator wouldn’t it be safe to say that we humans carry the Creator’s DNA and are therefore made good? Last time I checked, Genesis said: And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:31)

Pandora; a far off planet rife with eye popping landscapes, luminescent fauna, bizarre beasts, and ornery natives.  Epic battle looms on the horizon for this strange world, so why not soak up all of the beauty Pandora has to offer before it is no more.  Oh Mars and I did just that.

After an evening of gentlemanly feasting and whiskey tasting with a few of the classiest guys I know, I braved the freezing outside to collect Lord Oh Mars while setting course for adventure.  Face warmly tingling with the after effects of refinement, we made a stop at the local Applebee’s  for some last minute fueling in preparation for AVATAR; the latest movie from writer/director James Cameron.  No amount of drunken karaoke, girlie giggles, or conga-lining by the inebriated restaurant goers would damper our movie going experience,  considering we’ve been anxious to see this film since August.

We arrived at the AMC theater that dwells within the Liberty Tree Mall, and both of us were astounded at the scene that stood in the lobby.  It was 11:30 pm and there was no line.  NO LINE! Have people forgotten that this is the first film from James Cameron since Titanic?!  The lack of movie patrons continued inside the actual theater.  I was expecting to have a difficult time finding a place to rest my rump.  But no.  The turn-out was dismal.  My thoughts were that everyone went to the “real” IMAX in Jordan’s Furniture, located at 50 Walkers Brook Drive in Reading, MA.  The boredom that preceded the movie was so intense that some dude started to read a book.

With my buzz teetering on the edge of obliteration, Oh Mars and I readied ourselves for AVATAR.  Trailers for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland 3-D and How To Train Your DRAGON 3-D came first.  Watching them things while wearing 3-D glasses was freaky.  Aside from the fact that the glasses made me finally understand how Geordi LaForge feels while wearing his visor, the experience was quite thrilling.  It looked like the cheshire cat’s head was gunning for my nut sack; something I hope never happens.  The movie about dragons looked somewhat awesome.  But then again, most movies about Vikings and dragons are awesome in my eyes.

AVATAR time.  Now until last night, the only thing I knew about AVATAR was that it was about science/military people putting their brains inside aliens through the art of technology.  A kind of living virtual reality, if you will.  Come to find out, the movie had more of a Fern Gully-ish story to it.  Gods I hate saying that, but unfortunately it’s the best comparison.

Here’s what I could get out of it.  Paraplegic marine Jake Sully has been assigned to Pandora, taking the place of his brother who was recently killed.  Corporate slime balls and an all too eager battle scared colonel trying to mine the Endorian planet for it’s valuable materials, have placed Jake with the science team responsible for infiltrating/displacing the indigenous tribe of Thundercats called “Na’vi”.  To make sure they don’t die a most horrible death of suffocation and animal stompage, the humans have to use the “avatars” of Na’vi that they grew by use of science.  But after a few excursions through the beautiful jungles of Pandora, some of the planet’s wild life attack and Jake gets left behind.

Neytiri, a sexy alien babe, reluctantly saves Jake from certain doom at the claws of night time creatures.  This was about the time my booze riddled blood began to take over, causing me to take an unwelcome trip to slumber town.  Even with the visual amazingness of the movie, I was unable to fight off the sandman.  But after a jolting nudge from Oh Mars, I was able to shake the cobwebs.  I awoke to find that Jake slowly gained the trust of Neytiri and her tribe, as well as given the opportunity to learn hunting tactics, how to bond with a dragon-like monster, not to mention finding out about the Na’vi’s bond with the planet.  It seems that they can tap into the natural energy of Pandora by use of fine tendrils that dwell within their super long ponytails.  This allows them to communicate with trees, animals, and even the spirits of their ancestors.  Pretty cool huh.

As Jake continues his growing fondness for the Na’vi, and the fondness for using his legs again, Colonel Quaritch has noticed that Jake is starting to forget what side he’s on.  He’s grown tired of waiting for him to convince the Na’vi to move out of their land, and is ready to drive them out by force.  Jake then has to make a choice.  Should he follow the orders he was given?  Or should he stay with the cat woman he’s grown to love, defending the people that have come to see him as one of their own?

I can’t describe to just how huge the scope of this film is.  It gave me fond memories of The Dark Crystal, in the sense that something was moving in every shot.  Even when watching Jack and Neytiri walk through the jungle, you can see huge strange plants far off in the background.  You truly felt like you were on Pandora.  Everything from The Floating Mountains to The Tree of Souls had my eyes close to watering.  There were times that I even forgot I was watching a movie done entirely in CG.  I even found myself swatting at settling embers that I thought were flies screwing around in the theater.

On a scale of 1-2 (one being 1 hit to the face with Thor’s hammer and two being a second), I give AVATAR 10 hammer hits to the face.  It’s visually stunning and is fantastic once you pass nap inducing hour 2.

A More Accurate Explanation of What Was

Driving down America’s bumper sticker covered roads, I’ve come across a sticker on more than one occasion that says, “The World Needs God.” One evening I mused over this, and decided this sticker needed a sub quote: “The World Needs God: Because There Isn’t Enough Hate Already.” I have no idea where the concept of God was formed, nor do I know why, but somewhere in the course of human history man decided that whatever he didn’t understand, he would call God. I think it was to prevent wear and tear on brain cells.

Before I get into all this, I must admit I have no formal education regarding philosophy or God or any religion that I will mention, but Joel Osteen proved that doesn’t matter. What I do claim, however, is that for twelve years now I’ve been thinking, researching, and studying to come to some conclusion as to why the world needs God. All I’m offering here is thought. I encourage thinking, because it’s not illegal yet.

Throughout the course of history, man decided an explanation for existence was needed. And yet, oddly enough, I never even thought about it until eighth grade biology, when my teacher presented the creation theory and the theory of evolution. I didn’t really care. Life was a grand adventure, so why spoil it with questions of “Why are we here?” Who cares? The wonderful taste of cookies is enough reason for existence to me!

So, the concept of God. Where did it come from and why do we need it? Where does the concept of God come from for many Americans? Ahh, yes; it started with Christianity. And, what may have started with good intentions ended up being a huge problem.

And nope, I just don’t get it. I don’t get it all. I don’t get the religious fervor that seems to be painting itself over the world. TV evangelists are everywhere. Why, you can’t watch TV without being bombarded by some sort of religious commercial or another. It seems that I’m either being invited to watch some minister on Sunday morning, go to a church itself, or call a toll free number to obtain a copy of one of myriad books that can bring peace to my life.

Everywhere, it seems, people are confronted by those zealous to spread their religious teachings. If it isn’t the Jehovah Witnesses knocking on your door at eight in the morning on Saturday, then it’s the Mormons. I’ve even had Baptists knocking on my door wanting to invite me to church. How would they feel if there were door-to-door atheists? They have a message too, after all.

Preachers, teachers, follower, laymen, and fanatics are spreading their message that the world is coming to an end,that the kingdom of God is at hand! Interestingly enough, they fail to mention that this has been their message for 2,000 years.

Somewhere along the line, someone has to say, “ENOUGH!”and explore what in the world is going on, for heaven’s sake. So I did. And what I found was nothing short of Holy Shit.

WARNING! SPOILER ALERT!!!
If you have not watched the season finale of Dexter and plan to, do not read further.

This was an amazing end to a season, for the first time I honestly have no fucking clue what the hell is going to happen next on this show, not clue. With the death of Rita is this going to push Dexter off the edge and force him to be even more nuts, or will it force him to take control of the situation and be a law abiding father? What’s going to happen with the kids, will Dexter keep all 3 of them or will they be shipped off to be with the “goofy grandparents”? And in regards to Rita’s death are we 100% sure Trinity killed her or is this the beginning of Trinity’s son possibly carrying on the family business? I don’t think I buy that and I kinda hope that for the sake of the story that we are kinda done with the Trinity saga, other than Dexter dealing with the fallout of course. The only thing I kinda got right is that Deb didn’t seem to take the news about her brothers brother to bad, unless it turns out she had something to do with Rita’s death (unlikely but possible I suppose). The truth is that this season has provided us with a roller coaster of insanity and tragedy, a brief glimpse of seeing The Dark Defender on the road to redemption and leaves him at a crossroads with an uncertain future (will he have an answer for where he was when Rita died, will the FBI’s manhunt find Trinity and will that intern re-open the Bay Harbor Butcher case). Also these “Dexter was in a coma and it was all a dream theories are bullshit and if they try to pull that I would be seriously disappointed.) The only thing I know is that the writers of this series have one hell of a challenge and I sure as hell will be watching intently.

In the words of Julie Benz (Rita) “there’s nothing like discovering your wife’s body slumped in the bathtub with your baby boy crying in a pool of mommy’s blood to reboot your warped psyche.”

2009 has been a roller-coaster ride, at least for me.  The Gods threw the perfect balance of awesome and suck at me, creating one of the strangest years to date.  Everything from massive celebrity deaths, historic hangovers, and all things in between have taken a once confident warrior and turned him into a second-guessing machine.  Change seems to be the cause of all these problems.  It’s foul odor has been hanging in the air like a predator timing it’s next kill.  Only a few things have managed to help maintain my sanity, and DEXTER was one of them.  Too bad for me, Season 4 just ended.

Before I say what needs to be said about last night’s finale, it is imperative to enact a MAJOR SPOILER ALERT.  Should you be one who hasn’t seen this episode yet, or happen to have just kick started this season off, I strongly suggest that you STOP READING NOW!! Many important things will be discussed and I will sure as shit NOT be the one held responsible for ruining your DEXTER experience.  With that being said, let’s get down to it.

Season 4 has been as unexpected as this year has been for me.  Not only were we introduced to Trinity (Dexter’s greatest rival to date), but we were privy to spectacular writing, beautiful cinematography, as well as 12 episodes that were constantly out-doing one another as the weeks went on.

Piecing everything together in my head is proving to be about as difficult as working on a jigsaw puzzle after a sugar high 2 year old ransacked the box.  But being the professional that I am, I still remember the key points.  Let’s start with Deb.

Still nonplussed after learning of Harry’s not to professional relationships with his hooker C.I.’s, Deb delved deeper into learning more about daddy do-no-wrong.  What she found had us rocketing back to season 1, when The Ice Truck Killer kidnapped her.  One of the C.I.’s brought her to the house where Dexter spent his infant years, and where she was held hostage by Brian.  Talk about a mind fuck, huh?

Her love life took a wild turn once Special Agent Lundy came back to town.  Now retired, he returned to Miami hot on the trail of Trinity (a serial killer who has been ritualistically slaying people for 30 years).  Deb began taking an interest in Lundy’s “Trinity Killer”, working her bony ass to dust trying to help figure out who this killer might be.  Old sparks were rekindled, the horizontal police polka ensued, and Deb destroyed her relationship with Anton.  Almost immediately after, the two of them were gunned down in the parking lot.  Apparently Lundy got a little too close to catching Trinity.

Dexter had much more on his plate to deal with.  Now a newly married man, and proud father of little Harrison, Dexter needed to find new ways to juggle work, family, AND his Dark Passenger.  But how does a serial killer pull off something so “normal”?  Answers for Dex came in the form of Arthur (aka Trinity).  School teacher, loving dad, and deacon, he somehow managed to find that perfect balance of maintaining a family while satisfying his inner monster.  Dexter decided to learn everything he could from this guy, straying from Harry’s Code in the process.

Like every other time Dexter has done this, his lack of devotion to “the code” bit him in the ass.  Trinity was not the ideal role model for a killer so family oriented.  After expertly gaining Arthur’s trust as “Kyle Butler:  mess of a man in need of help “, Dex discovered that this man of god had his wife and kids terrified of him.  I don’t see why.  All he did was physically and mentally abuse them.  From that  point on, a cat and mouse type of game ensued between Dexter and Trinity, much like what happens between super heroes and villains in comic books.  It was a seesaw battle of epic proportions that ended in explosionary fashion.

With Dexter finally capturing Trinity (the trophy of all trophies), performing his own little ritual of death, he headed back home to gather some things so he could meet Rita and the kids.  When he tried to call Rita’s cell, her phone rang from inside the house.  He had sent them away earlier that day for their own safety, and with the purpose of getting rid of Trinity once and for all.  Well, Trinity had one last surprise for Dexter.  As soon as her phone started to ring, the cries of baby Harrison started echoing throughout the house.  Dexter ran to the sound of his crying son to find his worst nightmare had come to life.  Harrison was sitting in a pool of blood, screaming, while the lifeless naked body of Rita was resting in an overflowing bathtub.

There are countless plot points that have been left out of this summary, and with good reason.  Everything became a memory clusterfuck the second I saw Rita in that tub, so you’ll have to excuse my lack of story telling.  I just don’t have the energy right now.

In the time that I have been watching DEXTER, I’ve seen some super shocking stuff.  Never in my life did I expect this show (or ANY show for that matter) to end on such a horrific downer.  Jaws dropped, hands covered mouths, and the eyes of all in attendance ruptured from their sockets.  You could hear the tears hitting denim.

12 hours later.  The bottomless pit that swirled into existence where my stomach once was is still there.  There isn’t enough ice cream, snacks, or junk food in the world to fill that emptiness.  Rita, you and your boobs will be greatly missed.  I need a nap….and maybe a candy bar.

So after dealing with a woman harassing me for no apparent reason other than she’s obviously bitter and hates her life, I had to go into a little hiding at the suggestion of the investigator who was handling the case. Well, once senior psycho path decided to harass my book’s reviewer that was it! And I sent her a nice friendly little warning…Needless to say, I’m still in suck it mode and would just like to say, If you have anything to say to me, say it, Crazy, and I’ll allow a judge to settle it.

I am still in the game, reading, writing, studying, researching and doing all those types of things that will hopefully bring forth the production of another book. Somehow, though I’m not sure quite how, in the crazy hubbub of the holiday season, I manage to find time to do what I love the most. I suppose when something’s important to you, you make the time.

My latest books are dealing with Mormon Polygamists and theology, American Muslims and the insanity of America in general. It is my goal to have all three works down in this upcoming year and hopefully out on the shelves as quickly as possible. I can move fast but for some reason, publishers can’t.

My name is Dauson Lovi and I am the author of the new controversial book Holy Shit: A Brief Look at Christianity’s Problem. I deal with matters of religion, politics, and history and usually give an unpopular opinion on things. It’s just what I do.

To tell you a little about my book: The work takes a look at the hard issues facing Christianity today and gives a series of points and counterpoints that goes beyond what the scriptures say. It demonstrates how Christianity distorts the truth and shows the fallacies contained within the scriptures. I take a realistic look at the Golden Rule and the misconstrued metaphors that are scattered throughout its teachings.

My debut and controversial book takes a realistic view of how the writings of the Bible are filled with mythology blended with historical events containing a tainted religious undertone.

The work is not for the faint at heart!

Currently, I am working on my second and third novels that I can promise you will just be as controversial as the first.

Time travel.  The one subject that tickles my taint more than mythology.  Every time I watch a film/show where people (or a person) tear the fabric of space a new one, my mind becomes a whirling dervish of zany ideas.  Like pantsing Abe Lincoln right before he’s shot, or (in my case) going back to California in the hay-day of metal so you can hit up every good show that has ever happened.  The possibilities are endless!

There is one particular television show from the late ’80s, that brings us on an adventure of a lifetime.  Futuristic space dudes known as the Valorians, use a fancy time travel device known as a “Space Time Energy Projector” to escape from the evil Rulon forces.  Much to their dismay, the Valorians crash land on prehistoric Earth, bringing the Rulons with them (damn tractor beams).

Lord Krulos (leader of the Rulons) decides that the only way to get his group of monstrous marauders back home is to steal the Energy Projector, slaughtering the Valorians in the process.  What better way to smite your enemies in record time than by rigging a T-Rex with technology, fitting it with fire power, then brainwashing the beast and his buddies.  Luckily, Questar (head guy in charge of the Valorians) has made nice with the local herbivores, telepathically of course.  Now it’s just a question of witch group of DINO RIDERS will win.

Along with a sweet show, Dino Riders had some kick ass toys as well (though the commercials were much cooler):

After suffering an epic squashing by a T-Rex, the soul of Valorian “Gunner” was transported into the hulking robotic form of the powered down Optimus Prime.  Lucky for Gunner that Teletran-1 took a header into a nearby volcano while trying to ditch the Decepticons, or who knows what crazy cartoon he would have ended up on.  Krulos traded in his goldfish bowl helmet for a spiked gauntlet and an idiotic detective to annoy.

Nerds have been debating this very battle for a good 3 decades, yet neither side was willing to cave as to who would be the victor.  It’s good to finally put all of these arguments to rest.
