Mais um antes e depois para vocês curtirem. Aqui trabalhamos num ambiente de 18m² de um apartamento, onde projetamnos um espaço para escritório e hometheater.

O ambiente é usado por um casal e sua filha pré adolescente, como vocês podem perceber, é o local de encontro de toda a família.

A primeira coisa que fizemos para dar mais amplitude ao espaço foi aumentar a altura do pé direito de 2,10m para 2,40m. As esquadrias, com uma bela vista para a cidade, e também a porta de entrada da saleta que é composta por espelhos, permanceram as mesmas.

A sala é toda abraçada por livros, o que mantivemos para acomodar toda a biblioteca dos donos da casa, mas de uma forma mais organizada, assim como a bancada para três computadores.

As luminárias que utilizamos são da iluminar , no centro é o modelo deep, que fica toda recuada no forro, o que passa idéia de limpeza visual.  Sobre a bancada de trabalho usamos o modelo express misturando lâmpadas dicróicas e fluorescentes. Ao lado do sofá, logo na entrada da sala, usamos o modelo chess com lâmpada dicróica, para os momentos mais intimistas nestas lâmpadas usamos um filtro ambâr, que dá uma luz super agradável.

A tv que antes ficava sobre a bancada foi fixada num painel azul (ref.Suvinil E151) de madeira, dando assim mais espaço de apoio para área de trabalho.

As cadeiras, sofá e pufe são os mesmos, porém receberam um estofamento novo em sarja para tornar o ambiente mais despojado e combinar com os novos móveis e cores.

Sony has launched its new two types of 5.1 channel Blu-ray HTIB systems called BDV-E300 and BDV-E500W. These both types of home theater systems can support BD-Live-Capable Blu-ray player, BRAVIA Sync technology, and Sony’s Digital Media Port to easy control Apple’s iPod and Sony’s Walkman line.

Boxee is the latest piece of software to enter the home theater PC space. It’s recently become available as a public alpha. The first build is only for OSX 10.5, but Ubuntu is coming. Built on the XBMC code base-they even hosted the XBMC developer con last weekend-it has the same goal of letting you navigate and watch/listen to all of your media from your using just a remote. There’s more than just that though.

What Boxee adds is a social layer. In the application, it shows your friends’ viewing activities. You can add account info for various video services to get to your saved playlists and subscriptions. You can download podcasts and send your listening habits to Last.FM.

Your online profile can be hooked to Twitter, FriendFeed, and tumblr, which can publish your recommendations, what you’re watching, what you’re listening to, and what you’re rating.

It’s only alpha so you can expect some quirkiness, and no user guide makes it an adventure. We love the look of the interface. Unfortunately all the dynamic resizing, animated, sliding, floating info boxes make it behave like the zooming user interface’s retarded cousin.

What about the OSXBMC port we covered last month? The developers have decided to fork the code and develop it independently from the Linux port. It will still be nearly in sync with the Linux port, but they’ll have the freedom to removes things that are broken or unnecessary.

In any case, it’s great to have two fine media center replacements for Apple’s Front Row.

Ya quisieran muchos cines de primera tener la calidad de imagen y sonido del Jeremy Kipnis, pero para eso solo necesitan sacar de sus cajas fuertes nada más que $6,000,000 milloncitos viejos de dólares. Tan sencillo como eso.

אני לא מבין על מה כל המהומה?! כבר לפני שנתיים החלטתי להתנתק מהתשלום החודשי המוגזם של החברות האלו, רכשתי צלחת לויין פרטית במחיר לא נורא חד פעמי. ויתרתי על קניית ממיר ובמקומו רכשתי כרטיס DVB למחשב בסלון שמרכז את המולטימדיה הבייתית, מה שמאפשר לקלוט תחנות לווייניות שונות ובפורמטים שונים (וגם אם יהיו אחרים בעתיד אפשר לעדכן כמובן הרי מדובר במחשב) המחשב מחובר ישירות לטלוויזיה ולכן השידור הוא דיגיטלי מלא עד המסך.

בלוויין הישראלי, AMOS מזמן אפשר לקלוט את הערוצים הישראלים חינם ואני חייב לציין שבאיכות הרבה יותר גבוה ממה שמסופק דרך החברות. ויחד עם זאת עוד עשרות ערוצים טובים יותר וטובים פחות מלוויינים אחרים אירופאיים, מזרח תיכוניים – נכון שלא כל התחנות דוברות אנגלית אבל למי שמדבר שפות נוספות זה נחמד וברוב המקרים התחנות (כיוון שהשידור הוא דיגיטלי מלא) מספקות מספר ערוצי שמע וניתן לעבור לערוץ דובר אנגלית או לבחור בכתוביות באנגלית (כן, גם כתוביות ניתן לבחור. למשל בערוץ 2,10 אפשר לבחור כתוביות בעברית, רוסית וערבית).

יכולתי לכתוב עוד הרבה על הלויין שהיכולות שלו להוצאת תמונה באיכות חדה וגם ב- HD קיימות כבר מזמן אבל רק רציתי לספר בפוסט הזה שקיימת אופציה נוספת לשידורי טלוויזיה חינם כבר היום.

אגב רק למען ההשוואה הטכנית, צלחת לויין אישית בדרך כלל גדולה יותר פי שתיים מצלחת לויין של Yes והערוצים הנקלטים בה מאירופה למשל, מועברים בקצב שידור דיגיטלי של עד 10 מגה לשניה!

לא שיש כל כך הרבה תכנים מעניינים לראות בערוץ הראשון של הטלוויזיה הישראלית אבל כיוון שטלוויזיה אני רואה בבית דרך לויין (צלחת פרטית) שמחוברת למחשב בסלון שאחראי על מרכז הבידור המולטימדי בבית. אני תמיד שמח על עוד תחנה שניתן לקלוט בשידורים דיגיטליים באמצעות הלויין.

ערוץ 1 הוא כזה, עד היום שודר בלויין באנולוגי בלבד מה שהשאיר רק את ערוץ 2 ו- 10 לקולטי הלוויין הדיגיטליים. אז סוף סוף החליטו שם “להשתדרג” גם ערוץ 1 וגם ערוץ 33 (יששש!) ניתנים לקליטה דיגיטלית אז כוונו את התדרים…

הטלויזיה הולכת למחשב זה ברור ו- HTPC זה כבר קופסא שתוספת מקום בסלון לאט לאט ביותר ויותר בתים.

אני מחזיק HTPC (טוב… סוג של…) בסלון. יש לי PC ייעודי בסלון שמרכז את כל המולטימדיה הבידורית כולל צפייה בערוצי הטלוויזיה.
המחשב מחובר לצלחת לויין פרטית שיש לי בבית שמחוברת בכרטיס לווייני (כרטיס PCI שיודע לקבל אותות דיגיטליות בפורמט DVB מלויין) ומאפשר לי לצפות בערוצי הלויין שאותם קולטת הצלחת – אני אכתוב על זה פוסט בהמשך – צלחת לויין והערוצים שניתן לקלוט בה בשילוב עם חיבור למחשב נותנים איכות דיגטלית מקצה לקצה.

בכל מקרה בפוסט הזה אני רוצה להתייחס למדריך השידורים הידוע בכינוי EPG מה שאפשר לראות במקלטים של הכבלים או של YES – ההסבר הנוח שמופיע במעבר בין ערוצים.
המידע הזה אמור לעבור כחלק מהתחנה בלויין, התחנות שאני קולט מאירופה מכילות את המידע הזה ולא צריך עבורן תוספות. אבל יש תחנות שלא כוללות מידע זה, למשל התחנות הישראליות.

אז למי שצופה בטלויזיה דרך Media Center כלשהו ורוצה לקבל את המידע הזה (וזה לא משנה אם הוא מחובר בלויין, דיגטלי או כבלים) צריך לוודא שתוכנת הצפייה שהוא משתמש איתה תומכת בפורמט של XML-TV שמאפשר להעביר מידע לגבי לוחות משדרים.

תוכנה חינמית ומאוד יעילה, בשם MegaEPG מאפשר לייצר את קובץ ה- XML שמכיל את המידע הנדרש לתוכנות הצפייה עבור התחנות שתרצו לראות עבורן מידע בעת זיפזופ. התוכנה יודעת להתחבר לאתרים שמכילים את המידע הזה, לשלוף מהם את הטקסט הרלוונטי לפי תחומי זמן ולייצר את קובץ ה- XML.
תוכלו להגדיר שהתהליך יבוצע כל פרק זמן מסויים (נניח כל שבוע) והמידע יועבר לתוכנה אוטומטית בלי שתצטרכו להתעסק עם זה בשוטף.
