Interessant bericht van het RIVM. Er is een onderzoek gedaan naar HIV besmetting in Nederland. Het blijkt dat er (naar schatting) 21.500 mensen in Nederland zijn met een HIV besmetting. Van deze groep heeft 55% deze besmetting opgelopen door homoseksueel contact, 40 % door heteroseksueel contact en 4% door injecterend drugsgebruik.

De reden waarom ik dit een interessant bericht noem, is deze: ik was niet bekend met cijfers en percentages en heb me lang afgevraagd hoe de verhouding tussen HIV besmetting door homo- of heteroseksueel contact was. Er zijn binnen christelijke kringen namelijk nog steeds mensen die HIV besmetting zien als een straf van God voor homoseksualiteit (google). Dat is vaak gebaseerd op de aanname dat alleen homoseksuelen of mensen met een zeer promiscue levensstijl HIV besmetting oplopen.

Feit blijft dat HIV ook een SOA (seksueel overdraagbare aandoening) is. Dus een nog belangrijkere conclusie dan de verhouding hetero- / homoseksuelen is het feit dat 40% van de mensen met HIV besmetting zich niet bewust is van deze besmetting. Dit percentage is het laagst in de grote steden en het hoogst in de buitengebieden. Ik hoop/vermoed dat daar de aandacht op gevestigd zal worden: bewustwording.

MEXICO CITY —  A lawmaker in Mexico’s capital has proposed changing the city’s civil code to allow gay marriages.

Mexico’s Roman Catholic Church opposes the proposal. The church defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman, as does current law.

Lawmaker David Razu says the changes he is proposing would give same-sex couples the same rights heterosexual couples have regarding social security and other benefits.

The local legislature sent the measure to committees for consideration Tuesday. No date was set for a vote.

Mexico City’s legislature is dominated by the leftist Democratic Revolutionary Party and has legalized abortion and civil unions for same-sex couples. The church and conservative groups also opposes those changes.

NEW YORK — ABC’s “Good Morning America” is saying “no thanks” to Adam Lambert.

The morning show canceled the glam rocker’s scheduled performance on Wednesday’s show because of Lambert’s racy appearance on the “American Music Awards” on Sunday night.

“Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning,” ABC News said Tuesday in a statement.

“Obviously, I respect their decision — they gotta do what they gotta do,” Lambert said Tuesday in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. “It’s too bad, I think there were a lot of fans who were excited to come see me.

“They probably had a lot of pressure coming at them from certain people who weren’t happy about it.”

While singing his new song “For Your Entertainment” at the awards program, Lambert kissed a male keyboardist, fondled a dancer and had another dancer briefly stuff his face in Lambert’s crotch. It prompted many complaints to ABC.

But CBS quickly announced Tuesday that Lambert would appear on “The Early Show” Wednesday morning both to perform and discuss the reaction to Sunday’s appearance.

The “Good Morning America” cancellation was first reported on TVNewser and Hollywood Life Web sites.

Se haastattelu kesti kaikkiaan abt tunnin. Oli yllättävän piinallinen tunti se… ei maininnut P-man sunnuntaisessa preppauksessaan, et vastassa voi olla homo, joka yrittää iskee kesken haastattelun. Tarviin viel tänäänki erän nalleja tähän ahistukseeni, onneks ei oo huomenna ku pari tuntii koulua. ;____;

La séparation a été indolore pour moi. Le soir où nous nous séparions, j’allais au sport comme tous les soirs. Bref , une indifférence dramatique.

En juin, lors de mon retour sur Paris, j’ai partagé mon lit pour une expérience unique. Un plan cul avec une femme mariée. Super fantasmant, très belle femme.

A la même période, j’ai reçu la visite à domicile du fameux bloggeur chrisbi. Des échanges buccaux de toute sorte et des mains très inquisitrices …

Toujours à la même période, mes yeux ont croisé ceux d’une belle plante asiatique dans un bar. Son nom était synonyme d’orgasme culinaire. Nous avons passé ma dernière nuit parisienne à flirter et à effectuer d’autres câlins.

Entre juin et mi-octobre, aucune reelle relation.

De mi-octobre à fin octobre, je me suis laissé charmer par une belle marocaine. Nous avons flirté et échangé quelques substances buccales. J’ai trouvé tellement mignon et déprimant sa “naïveté” ! Je plains les nanas de là-bas !

A mon retour sur Paris, j’ai fait la rencontre d’un lecteur, un charmant jeune homme. De bons moments passés à 2. Il m’a redonné goût au sexe entre mecs. Grace à lui, j’ai beaucoup moins peur de prendre du plaisir avec un mec. Je suis même devenu prêt à avoir une pseudo relation avec un mec…

J’ai également rencontré VCL, charmante cochonne provinciale … Femme avec laquelle je partage beaucoup ! Elle m’a permis de m’aerer la tête pendant une petite semaine chez elle à mon retour du Maroc.

Il y a eu aussi la RH de ma boite. Pourquoi ? J’en sais trop rien. Peut-être parce que je suis qu’un con orgueilleux. Depuis, dans toute ma splendeur masculine, je l’evite …

Il y a eu aussi une très bonne amie avec laquelle les choses ont dérivé. J’ai peur que nous prenions trop goût à nos escapades … Relation qui ne mènera nulle part.

Medhi, jeune homme qui s’étiquette bi avec lequel j’ai eu un flirt un peu poussé … Lèvres douces et entreprenant … Idéal !

Et bien sur dans tous les jours que j’ai vécu cette année, pas un seul n’a été sans une pensée pour Christine. Ma vie serait idéale si je pouvais l’exclure de mes pensées… J’en peux plus !

Mention spéciale pour Hancock, film qui me parle et qui m’a accompagné toute cette année.

Ce soir, ma mère m’a appelé. Mon père a pleuré car il a grillé le cadeau de Noël que ses enfants lui font … J’en suis encore tout bouleversé.

Reuters reported yesterday that a buttload (yes, 5,600 constitutes a “buttload”) of hitherto undiscovered sea-creatures, including the uncreatively-named “Dumbo,” because they have flaps that look like the ears of one unfortunately named cartoon elephant. Said Robert Carney (I see a theme developing here) of Louisana State University, who co-leads a study of the ocean depths as part of a wider international Census of Marine Life (COML):

“The diversity of life in the deep sea is much, much greater than we’ve believed.”

Really? I’m a lay-person, and based on what I’ve seen of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel, I believe there’s a series of numerous buttloads (see what I did there?) out there in the ocean’s depths. Among the discovered living sea-creatures was a tubeworm filled with crud…ehr, crude. Oil that is. Apparently, life, being the wacky rapscallion it is, deemed to evolve this little guy to be able to thrive on the chemicals produced from decomposing oil.

And speaking of fossil fuels, there’s news from Africa by way of Washington where an announcement came Friday from research buddies Paul Sereno and Hans Larsson, of the University of Chicago and McGill University, respectively, detailing the discovery of three new extinct crocodile fossils. Among them were Kaprosuchus saharicus, aka “BoarCroc”; Araripesuchus rattoides, aka “RatCroc”; and Laganosuchus thaumastos, aka “PancakeCroc.” The first was found in Niger, the second in Morocco, and the third seems to have gotten around and was found in both. Said Larsson, presumably with a French-Canadian accent, of the “BoarCroc:”

“BoarCroc was a 20-foot-long meat-eater with an armored snout for ramming and three sets of dagger-shaped fangs for slicing. The tusks stuck out above and below the jaw like a modern warthog. This has never been seen before on any crocodile.”

And for good reason, this thing sounds ridiculous. No wonder the thing went extinct, the predecessors of modern crocodiles probably took one look at that thing and went “you ain’t putting your genes in me” and swam away much like girls do at the bar when I’m around…if we were in a bar…by a pool. Anyway:

PancakeCroc was also 20-feet-long, but was a squat fish-eater with, get this, a pancake-like flat head, while RatCroc was 3-feet-long and ate plants and grubs. The latter possessed a pair of buckteeth in its lower jaw, which it used to dig for food. This however bore it no dignity, and somewhere along the line it shriveled up and died.

So what did we learn today, class? Life presses forward, despite the mistakes it made in the past and the ridiculous names scientists press onto these poor animals. Of course, then again, they don’t have to bear the name Homo. Thanks science.

Het is een bewustwordingsproces. Bewust worden van uw gedachten, uw gevoelens en uw gedrag. Als u iedere dag oefent zult u merken dat het u veel oplevert en u steeds gelukkiger wordt. Wat kost het? Niets! Het is gratis. U investeert in uzelf, u plukt er ook zelf de vruchten van! Daarnaast heeft ook uw omgeving er profijt van. Er zijn alleen maar winnaars!
Iedere week schrijf ik tips in mijn gratis e-zine, op mijn website kunt u zich hiervoor inschrijven. U kunt de tips in willekeurige volgorde gebruiken. De tips zijn bedoeld om u aan het denken te zetten over uw eigen leven. Wat wilt u veranderen? Hoe kunt u dit veranderen? Wat wilt u en hoe krijgt u dit voor elkaar? Hoe gaat u met uzelf en anderen om? Wat maakt u gelukkig?

Lief zijn.

Lief zijn levert veel voordeel op, voor iedereen. Er heerst een prettige sfeer, iedereen is bereid tot samenwerken, men is vergevingsgezinder, men heeft meer plezier met elkaar enz. enz. Toch is lief zijn voor veel mensen niet zo vanzelfsprekend. Men vindt het moeilijk, soft, of weet niet hoe het moet: lief zijn. Lief zijn voor elkaar begint met lief zijn voor jezelf. Immers als u niet weet hoe u lief kunt zijn voor uzelf, kunt u het lief zijn ook niet uitdragen naar anderen. Hoe doet u dat? Lief zijn en wat wordt ermee bedoeld? Lief zijn betekent in dit geval: Niet zo streng zijn voor uzelf, niet zo hoge eisen aan uzelf stellen, wat milder zijn in uw oordeel over uzelf, doen wat goed voor u is, af en toe om uzelf kunnen lachen, niet altijd alles zo serieus nemen. Als u in staat bent om lief te zijn voor uzelf, bent u ook in staat om: niet zo streng te zijn voor anderen, niet zo hoge eisen aan anderen te stellen, wat milder te zijn in uw oordeel over anderen, ook iets te doen wat goed is voor een ander, ook eens kunnen lachen om die ander. Om lief te kunnen zijn voor uzelf heeft u een realistisch zelfbeeld van uzelf nodig. Lief zijn voor uzelf is niet zo moeilijk als velen denken. Ga maar eens voor de spiegel staan en zeg tegen uzelf: “Goh, meid (kerel), je ziet er helemaal niet zo slecht uit vandaag. Ik denk dat ik wel een beetje (of heel veel) van je hou en ik ga vandaag eens een leuke dag hebben.”  Ook al vindt u dat u er op dit moment niet zo goed uitziet. Bedenk: Wat zou u tegen een vriend of vriendin zeggen die vindt dat ze er niet zo goed uitziet? Als u vindt dat u iets heel stoms gedaan heeft, ga u zelf dan niet onnodig de grond in trappen. U heeft dan iets gedaan wat misschien niet zo handig was, maar dat is geen reden om over uzelf een vernietigend oordeel uit te spreken! Gebruik deze gelegenheid om erover na te denken hoe u het een volgende keer anders en meer effectief kunt aanpakken. Ook is het handiger om niet steeds te hoge eisen aan uzelf te stellen. U bent een mens, u mag fouten maken, u bent hier om te leren. Alles moet niet perfect zijn, want alles is al perfect zoals het is. Het is ons oordeel of wij vinden dat iets perfect is.  Wat voor de één perfect is, is voor een ander goed genoeg. U kunt niet aan alle eisen van uzelf en anderen voldoen. Tevreden zijn met goed, is óók goed. Probeer er een tevreden gevoel aan over te houden als u iets gepresteerd heeft!  Ook al is het nog zo klein! U heeft het goed gedaan en beloon uzelf daarvoor!

Wild bunch that they are, the Upper School faculty makes plans for dinner at  The Flying Saucer. Arriving before the M.A.—he actually got the degree online—I strategically position myself between two co-workers so as to avoid sitting by my erudite co-worker. Shortly after taking his seat, the Dean, much to my surprise, orders a beer. But somewhere in between lighting his cigar and ordering his third twenty-four ounce porter it hits me—this is all for show.

Perhaps it’s his thinning hair. Perhaps it’s his timid demeanor. Whatever it is, Ryan, M.A. is insecure in his masculinity. For the first time, I feel as though I understand the Master and his unchecked, “biblically-based” brand of chauvinism. But, just as my sorrow for the guy begins to set in, his strained guise of machismo kicks in once again.

After overhearing another faculty member casually drop the word “faggot” in a conversation (!), Billups interrupts to share with the table how anxious he is for his freshmen class to begin reading a book that uses the term. My ears perking up, he continues, “I know someone’s going to ask how the author is using the word ‘faggot’”(as if he wasn’t planning on calling his class’s attention to the term even if they didn’t). “I’m going to tell them,” adds Billups, “that the term originally meant ‘a bundle of sticks’ and that faggots still aren’t good for anything but burning.”

“Check, please!”

Do you use derogatory epithets in your day to day conversations, even if just casually? If so, would you say they’re completely innocent or do they point to some form of insecurity you may be carrying around? Are you secure enough in your masculinity/femininity to avoid using terms like gay, homo, queer and faggot in a derogatory fashion? Are you secure enough in your masculinity/femininity to tell others to stop using such abusive language?

Ben merde… Dans un précédent article, j’avais expliqué que, ce week-end, un super bon pote qui vit actuellement dans un pays nordique était de passage … Et que j’avais prévu de l’emmener dans un bar !

Donc hier soir, je l’emmène dans mon bar, “l’australian bar”. Une montagne nous dit qu’on ne peut rentrer qu’accompagner … J’ai également vu que l’entrée était payante … Ca m’a calmé !

Ce que j’avais organisé en cachette, c’était la venue de super potes communs … Et à ces potes (masculins et féminins), se sont greffé des potes de potes, ou des soeurs de potes …

Bref, j’ai ré-organisé la soirée pour les emmener dans mon bar gay préféré avec un argument de choc … Les cocktails alcoolisés font la taille d’un vase !

Parmi les conviés, il y avait Delphine, une ex .. Qui est venue avec ses 2 petites soeurs jumelles et son homme et Sylvie qui est venue avec un pote que j’avais déjà croisé à son anniv, Medhi !

Et ben merde … Je me suis fait frotter sur le dancefloor par une jolie petite black mais qui était venue avec sa copine …Une fois … Deux fois … Trois fois ! J’ai pas compris si elle dansait juste ou si elle m’allumait ! M’enfin … J’ai pas eu assez de couilles pour lui répondre à ses avances (je ne sortirai pas de justifications contrairement à d’habitude )

Une des petites sœurs de Delphine a joué également avec moi … Très, trop jeune mais elle ressemble tellement à la grande que c’est difficile d’y être insensible …

Et Medhi … Putain, c’était un bi …. Nous nous sommes rapprochés pendant la soirée … Sa main a vite fini sur ma cuisse ! Je ne pense pas (on verra bientôt) que nous nous sommes faits griller … Je suis descendu aux toilettes. Me suis retourné, il avait pris ça pour le top … Il s’est jeté sur moi, nous nous sommes embrassé … Longuement !

De belles lèvres douces, une queue en érection … Notre jeu a duré longtemps !

Au moment de se barrer, un des potes du barman a commencé à me frotter et à me faire des avances … J’étais incapable de repousser qui que ce soit avec le “grammage” (à ne pas confondre avec le plumage) d’alcool dans le sang … Nous étions 4, mon super pote, Philippe, Sylvie et Medhi … Nous avons marché sous la pluie !

Medhi nous suivait alors qu’il habitait à l’opposé … Dès que nous nous sommes retrouvé seul, il m’a entrainé dans une ruelle perpendiculaire à Rivoli et m’a dévoré ! (la bouche, hein) … Il a mis sa main dans mon pantalon mais j’étais incapable de bander … Il m’a demandé ce que je voulais faire ce soir … Et j’ai répondu …

Nineteen year-old Jorge Steven Mercado dreamed about working in the fashion industry. He was also a volunteer in organizations advocating for HIV prevention and gay rights. But, last week his body was found dismembered, decapitated, and partially burned, in a rural area in Guavate, Cayey, Puerto Rico. Activists from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in Puerto Rico immediately described this brutal slaying  as a hate crime. Not a single crime has been processed under the Puerto Rican Hate Crime Law since it was approved in 2002. Penalties are higher if the Hate Crime Law is applied.

Days after the murder, 26 year-old Juan Martínez Matos confessed. According to local news reports, Martínez Matos said he went looking for a prostitute in the streets of Caguas, Puerto Rico, when Steven approached him. Martínez Matos said he “didn’t know” Steven Mercado was a man until they arrived at his apartment in an another town (the victim was allegedly dressed as a woman). Gay activists Ada Conde and Pedro Julio Serrano have publicly stated that the sector where Steven Mercado was picked up is mostly frequented by transsexual and transvestite men. Martínez Matos said he killed Steven in “self defense” after they got into a fight. He then mutilated his body, and left it in a desolated area miles away from his house. Martínez Matos also stated he hated homosexuals because he had been raped when he was in jail for committing domestic violence.

Gay activists were outraged when the police officer in charge of the investigation said: “Someone like that, who does those kind of things, and goes out in public, knows full well that this might happen to him.” They have demanded the officer’s immediate removal from the case. Martínez Matos has been charged with murder and bail was set at $4 million USD.

Since Puerto Rico is a United States territory, federal laws apply. Two Puerto Rican United States Congress Members from New York have asked for this crime to be prosecuted under new federal hate crimes laws. The Federal Investigations Bureau (FBI) is monitoring the investigation. In the 1980s the serial murderer Ángel Colón Maldonado, known as the “Angel of the Bachelors”, killed 27 homosexuals in the Island. Recently, gay actvists have also warned about another murder against a gay man in San Juan, the country’s capital.

Bloggers have reacted to this terrible crime. The human rights actvists and spokesperson of the LGBT organization Puerto Rico para Tod@s (Puerto Rico for Everyone), Pedro Julio Serrano [ES], condemned the religious leaders’ and the politicians’ silence:

We are before one of the most horrendous murders committed in the history of this country, therefore the silence of political and religious leaders is even more shameful. They should feel embarrassed for not expressing their solidarity with Jorge Steven’s family and friends. They should feel embarrassed for not expressing solidarity with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community for the hatred that this crime has produced. They should feel embarrassed for not condemning the police officer in charge of the investigation. They should feel embarrassed for having forgotten their constitutional duty of defending equality for every human being.

This Sunday there will be a vigil in New York City in remembrance of Jorge Steven Mercado.

All of us have great love for love. We take immense joy in seeing two people fall in love with each other and indulge their love for each other. But what we necessarily assume when such a picture is painted to us is that it concerns two people from opposite sexes. Would the society feel the same joy if these two people were from the same sex, i.e. - were homosexuals? The answer is a clear-cut, sharp, unhesitant-NO! Thus the question arises, is romantic love only limited to members of the opposite sex? Can’t people of the same-sex fall in love with one another? Unfortunately in our society, they are not allowed to. But what we must realize is that just as homosexuals do not have the freedom to choose their sexuality, we, the society should not have the right to suppress them either.

In the world of today, where the number of people having sex outside of marriage and also with the same sex are on the rise, given this, should we not shift our focus on to more serious matters? Like the matter of spreading a deadly disease perhaps? Diseases like AIDS is caused not only by having homosexual sex but by having sex without protection, and the disease spreads because of having sexual relationships with multiple partner.

‘Practicing’ homosexuality is a sin in Islam, of that there is not doubt. Nonetheless, amongst all the sins that people choose to commit, can we really say that this is the worst? Some homosexuals are promiscuous and also do not practice safe sex, but we cannot generalize and say that all homosexuals are the same! If two homosexual men/women are in a monogamous relationship and practice safe sex, which means  that they are not spreading a deadly disease, then does it not reduce the numbers of ‘wrongs’ being committed? We are all usually quick to point out, that all sex outside marriage is wrong, but what we do not want to consider is that there may be degrees of ‘wrongness’. No one has the right to prosecute someone on the basis of their sexual orientation as this is something that comes to the person naturally, it’s only normal to speculate that just maybe it is not such an unnatural thing after all. Our society must in time give homosexuality the acceptance it deserves. We must start treating our fellow human beings as equals, not on the basis of what form of sexuality they prefer.

ALBANY, N.Y. — New York’s top court ruled Thursday that gay couples legally married elsewhere are entitled to some government benefits, boosting stalled legislative efforts to legalize same-sex marriage.

The Court of Appeals rejected a Christian legal group’s argument that same-sex marriage was akin to incest and polygamy, although the court avoided declaring that gay couples are entitled to all the rights of other married couples.

The 4-3 decision was on the narrow question of benefits; the court did not address whether the state must recognize same-sex marriage but encouraged the Legislature to settle the issue.

The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Alliance Defense Fund, which challenged the benefits, said it was disappointed that the high court chose not to rule on the validity of what it calls “counterfeit marriages.”

“In New York, the only relationship recognized as marriage is the committed union of a man and a woman,” said Brian Raun, senior counsel for the group. “State and local officials should not attempt to use marriage laws from outside jurisdictions to place their political agendas ahead of the law.”

Gay rights advocates said the decision is the latest in a string of wins that bolsters their case for the state Senate to give final approval to a bill legalizing same-sex marriage.

The Democrat-led Assembly passed a bill this year to legalize same-sex marriage, but it hasn’t yet reached the floor in the Democrat-led Senate, which has promised to vote by the end of the year but where the measure appears a few votes short of passage.

“It absolutely builds momentum,” Empire State Pride Agenda Executive Director Alan Van Capelle said. “It’s another court saying the state Senate should act and clarify the issue.”

Now, 20 New York judges in different cases have supported government rights for same-sex couples, said Susan Sommer, director of constitutional litigation at Lambda Legal, a New York-based gay rights organization.

“The ball is now in the state Senate’s court,” she said.

One of the judges in Thursday’s decision warned that failing to address the larger question of recognizing same-sex marriages will create a problem.

“The effect of the majority’s rationale in affirming these orders will be to permit an unworkable pattern of conflicting executive and administrative directives … (at the) individual discretion of each agency head,” Judge Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick warned in an otherwise concurring opinion.

“We ought to avoid the confusion that would arise from a same-sex couple considered legally married by one agency for one purpose, but not married by another agency for a different purpose,” the judge wrote.

Many gay New Yorkers have been married in a handful of states and Canada but reside in New York and seek hundreds of government benefits and rights they say they’ve been denied.

Gay marriage is legal in Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts and Vermont and was for a time in California. A New Hampshire law takes effect next year, and voters in Maine repealed a law this month that would have allowed same-sex marriage.

With Thursday’s court decision, legally married same-sex couples will be entitled to public employee health insurance coverage and certain other benefits provided to heterosexual spouses.

The lawsuit challenged the granting of those benefits by the state Civil Service Department and Westchester County, and was upheld in a lower court. That ruling was challenged by the Alliance Defense Fund, which has fought similar decisions nationwide.

Marriages performed elsewhere that are considered abhorrent in New York, including incest and polygamy, are exempt from government benefits for spouses. Raum argued that same-sex marriage should be regarded as another exception.

The defendants had argued that a state rule recognizing common law marriages meant that same-sex unions performed elsewhere should be recognized in New York.

The court said in its decision that it didn’t have to consider that argument because of the narrowness of the case, pertaining only to certain benefits, but said it hoped the Legislature would address the question.

Activists are pressing for a law allowing gay marriage in New Jersey, where a recent poll found residents narrowly favor the measure. But key legislators have said there might not be enough support for the bill to pass before Gov. Jon Corzine, a Democrat, leaves office in January.

His elected successor, Republican Chris Christie, has promised to veto it.

Wenn Politiker ihren Amtseid ableisten wird der Höhepunkt der Heuchelei mit der Schlussformel “So wahr mir Gott helfe” erreicht, die von allen Ministern der aktuellen Regierung aufgesagt wurde. Glaubt Angela Merkel überhaupt an Gott? Nun, sie ist in der “Christlich Demokratischen Union”, deshalb muss sie zumindest nach außen hin die gläubige Christin darstellen. Am meisten hat mich allerdings beim neuen Außenminister Guido Westerwelle überrascht, dass er sich auf Gott beruft. Wtf? Homosexualität und Christentum, das passt genauso ins Bild, wie ein Kondomautomat vor dem Vatikan.

Doch nach kurzer Recherche finde ich heraus, dass sogar Guido Westerwelle mich noch überraschen kann: Er ist Mitglied der evangelischen Kirche, wie aus diesem Interview hervorgeht.
O.K. Guido muss selbst wissen, ob er zu einer Sekte Gemeinschaft gehören möchte, die seine Lebensweise fundamental ablehnt. Seine Entscheidung. Auf der anderen Seite frage ich mich, wie die Kirchengemeinde wohl reagiert, wenn Herr Westerwelle und sein Lebenspartner händchenhaltend zur Messe kommen beim Gottesdienst erscheinen. Wie passt eigentlich Religion, die den Menschen so viele Zwänge auferlegt, zum Verständnis des Liberalismus?

Ich schweife ab, darauf wollte ich eigentlich nicht hinaus. Ihr lieben “Volksvertreter” mein Anliegen ist, Euch zu bitten, auf die göttliche Phrase zukünftig zu verzichten, dadurch wirkt Euer Schwur auch nicht aufrichtiger. Die Menschen haben bereits in der Vergangenheit bitter erfahren müssen, welchen Wert Versprechungen von Politikern haben. Oder glaubt Ihr ernsthaft, dass Ihr durch das öffentliche Bekenntnis zu Gott den ethischen Persilschein in der Tasche habt? Das ganze religiöse Getue ist m.E. die größte Hypokrisie der Gegenwart. Mir kommt dabei unweigerlich der “Christenmensch” G.W. Bush in den Sinn.

Sehr vertrauenserweckend ist es übrigens nicht gerade, wenn unsere Minister zum Regieren göttlichen Beistand benötigen. Aber wenn Ihr Euch schon auf Gott berufen müsst, dann wäre in Anbetracht des Koalitionsvertrages und des “Wachstumsbeschleunigungsgesetztes” eher ein “Gott stehe uns bei” angebracht.
Doch seien wir hoffnungsvoll: Mit der neuen Regierung wird alles besser: “So wahr eine Teekanne im Orbit um den Saturn kreist”

Bénir, c’est simple et c’est compliqué !

Simple car le geste qui accompagne la parole de bénédiction est facile à exécuter. La parole elle-même peut tenir en quelques mots: « je te bénis au nom de Dieu », ou: « sache-le, Dieu te veut du bien, sois en sûr, Dieu t’aime ».

Ainsi bénir, ce n’est pas donner un jugement de valeur ou une approbation morale de ce que les gens vivent, mais c’est bien dire: « Dieu n’est pas exclu de ce que vous vivez, il vous accompagne ».

En ce sens, l’Eglise célèbre des cultes et bénit les personnes à l’occasion d’événements importants qui marquent la vie: le 11 novembre, des obsèques, une « désalliance » (divorce), des noces d’or, des fiançailles, des confirmations, etc.. .

Mais en même temps, bénir est compliqué, car : qui bénir? Tout le monde, comme le dimanche matin, à la fin du culte? Et pour le domaine qui nous occupe: tous les couples ?

De la bénédiction d’un couple

Rappelons que la bénédiction d’un couple hétérosexuel n’est pas non plus évidente! L’attestation de certificat de mariage délivrée par l’autorité civile ne donne pas « droit » à la bénédiction du couple, elle rend les choses envisageables.

Ainsi, lorsque des époux demandent la bénédiction de leur mariage, ils découvrent fréquemment que la réponse qui leur est faite n’est pas immédiate, ni formulée en oui ou en non: ils sont invités par le pasteur à entrer dans un cheminement spirituel, à (re)découvrir le sens du mariage chrétien et de la bénédiction. Ils sont invités à prendre le temps d’une pause, d’une mise à distance pour lire leur vie de couple même si celle-ci est encore à vivre, à réfléchir s’ils sont « prêts à prendre les engagements contenus dans la liturgie ».

En chemin, certains époux peuvent être amenés à réaliser eux-mêmes qu’ils ne sont pas prêts à s’engager.

Ce cheminement spirituel est aussi celui d’un couple homosexuel. Mais qu’est-ce qui fait que la bénédiction d’un couple homosexuel peut faire problème ?

Le problème réside notamment dans le risque d’assimiler la bénédiction d’un couple homosexuel à une bénédiction d’un couple hétérosexuel. Ce risque sera levé si la bénédiction est l’occasion de nommer la particularité d’un couple homosexuel et d’en dire la spécificité.

Nommer la spécificité de la bénédiction d’union homosexuelle

En effet, comment refuser une parole de bénédiction et des signes sur l’union de deux personnes qui s’engagent dans la durée, la fidélité, et l’amour ?

La demande de bénédiction d’un couple homosexuel doit être reçue, écoutée, travaillée avec autant de sérieux que l’est une demande venant d’un couple hétérosexuel.

La responsabilité de l’Eglise est alors de rappeler que la relation à deux est une affaire complexe qui demande élaboration et vigilance quant à la qualité des enjeux pour chacun; ceci est vrai pour les hétérosexuels mais aussi pour les homosexuels: qu’il y ait bénédiction ou non relèvera d’un travail de discernement.

Mais d’autre part, arrivé à ce point, il sera de la même responsabilité de l’Eglise de dire clairement cette bénédiction, mais aussi de dire la spécificité de la reconnaissance de ce couple : cette bénédiction ne sera pas une bénédiction de « mariage ».

La bénédiction d’une union homosexuelle n’est pas une bénédiction de mariage, dont l’expression doit être gardée pour désigner une alliance de contraires (hétéroi) ayant la possibilité de s’inscrire dans la succession des générations.

Pour une bénédiction d’un couple de semblables (homoïoï), on pourra parler de “bénédiction d’union”.

Toute cette réflexion ouvre sur la question de la prise en compte (et d’une bénédiction éventuelle par l’Eglise) des nouvelles formes de vie de couple.
