Yeah, it’s all true, for a lot of reasons we have…well i have to go on holiday for some years, it’s a pity to leave this blog alone but now i don’t really have time to make all the stuff i’ve done till now (touge, rally vids, karting etc…). Some one for job and some one, like me, because of study make all this impossible to continue easilly. In fact i’ve mailed the SrS authority for closing also the main site (team-superspeed.com), coz we can’t pay money for something we cannot use , instead this blog will remain but for now we have to consider it “Off Line”. This will be the “last post” but i am sure that we’ll come back doing what we like and make nu friends as the Touge Spirit says from the beginning

However in this fuckin’ web there’s a conctact wich you all can use and it’s on youtube as http://www.youtube.com/user/teamsuperspeed this link will be always open (you know if there’s just one chance to make a video or stuff like that we have to leave something useful ;) ) and we’ll leave some e-mail & msn adress, so anyone who wants to give us a call can do it without problems, ok? Ah, we have to mention this round at least! A fantastic race near fuji, a lot of us know Fuji speedway because of the recent F1 races, but this legendary circuit was the battlefield of fantastic races in the past years with group 5, C, jtcc and also the most famous Gt series in the world as SuperGT. And this time the winner was the Honda NSX ARTA driven by Firman and Izawa. After starting at 12th position the nsx passed away every car in front of it! We cannot go any further because there are 3 videos released by Kanburisan on youtube so we post up the links here (enjoy ) and it is worth watching!

We want also to post a link about the new subaru that will take part in GT300 also in the next season, as every GT enthusiast know that the beautiful Cusco impreza was retired  by the team (probably for marketing image), infact it was the 2005 model year and the nu one is not, probably, fitted for GT races. But STI can’t stand without a car also because the SuperGT is the right window to show sportcars also for marketing purpose obviously, so the team decided to build a nu car as the Legacy with a turbo engine eheh, one of the drivers will be Yamano (the old impreza’s driver ). We found the link on NihonCar.com. We know that it took part already at Suzuka race in late august, but we think that the team want to prepare it for 2010 season…

Japończycy potrafią robić znakomite auta sportowe. Honda/Acura NSX czy jeszcze prawie ciepły jak świeże bułeczki GT-R  są tego doskonałym przykładem. Jednak największy na świecie producent samochodów jakim jest Toyota dawno nie przedstawił żadnego projektu auta, na którego widok nogi miękłyby w kolanach, a mózg umożliwiał jedynie powtarzanie samogłosek oraz nazwy sprawcy takiegoż zachowania. I zapewne długo byśmy czekali na pojazd z charakterystyczną literą T na masce/grillu/etc, etc. Gdyby nie Lexus. Ekskluzywna marka z Tokio co pewien czas (nie)pozwalała naszym oczom napawać się widokiem LF-A. Nowy sportowiec śmigał po torach, palił się, znów śmigał po torach – ogólnie: dostarczał emocji.

Auto, które jeszcze (mnie) nie zachwyca dysponuje mocarną jednostką V10 o pojemności pięciu litrów ostatnio upolowano w Hiszpanii. Jak głoszą plotki, pojazd który sfotografowano na prywatnym torze jest finalną, produkcyjną wersją LF-A.

Model NSX jest dobrze znany każdemu entuzjaście japońskiej marki. Jednak jego produkcję zakończono dobry kilka lat temu. Właściwie od 2006 roku firma nie wyprodukowała modelu, który zastąpiłby to wspaniałe cudeńko. Jednak niedługo sytuacja ta może ulec zmianie bowiem Japończycy od pewnego czasu pracują na nowym NSX-em. I niby nie byłoby w tym nic dziwnego, gdyby nie fakt, że nowy model tego sportowego auta ma być hybrydą. Najprawdopodobniej auto będzie wyposażone w 3.5 litrowy silnik benzynowy o mocy około 450 koni wspierany oczywiście motorem elektrycznym. Ale jest też dobra informacja, a mianowicie samochód  będzie wyposażony w SH-AWD, czyli napęd na 4 koła. Niestety w najbliższym czasie raczej nie poznamy daty premiery auta. A szkoda.

So did everyone hear about this? The Nissan Skyline that Paul Walker drives in the new Fast and Furious movie has been stolen! That’s right some guys busted in a warehouse in Los Angeles where the Blue Skyline was being housed and stole it, damaging a few of the other cars in the warehouse as well. While that is some bad news for the owner: Chris Milano, even worse news is that the car wasn’t even insured!! It was being used mostly for marketing so he saw no reason to insure it…Smart. If anyone would like to set out and find this stolen Skyline there is a reward in it for you. Just something to think about.

Finalmente è bella che iniziata la stagione rally e con essa pure gli appuntamenti più interessanti in questo caso vi proponiamo dei video presenti su YouTube di due ragazzi tosti uno è il rally Valli Pordenonesi 2009 TRA con tante wrc e divertimento di DeniPixel che ha filmato dei passaggi stupendi e dei protagonisti che hanno dato showtime ad ogni curva

il secondo invece è un filmato del rally degli Abeti&Abetone 2009 che è una prova del tanto decantato TronyIRCup addirittura ricco di grandi piloti quali Cunico e Grossi…e ciò fa prospettare delle grandi battaglie nella speranza che grandi come loro riempano le file dei partenti e fino ad ora non ci possiamo lamentare

In ultimo un ottimo camera on board fatto dalla Honda (crediamo) riguardo alla mitica NSX del SuperGT che tanto fa sognare Lw con quel sound da paura….puro godimento; il tutto grazie a PM910

A Epson, fábrica de impressoras, patrocina uma equipe de corridas da Super GT e tem na usa página japonesa uma seção dedicada ao papercraft. De lá é possível imprimir modelos dos carros de competição que ela patrocina. Isso é bem normal.

Mas e se eles disponibilizassem um esquema para montar um carro na escala de 1/24, todo montado em papelão e papel? É algo fantástico, não é? Bem, eles não só disponibilizaram, como também montaram o Honda NSX Super GT e ficou incrível. Cada vez mais fico impressionado com o que se pode fazer de papercraft. Nissan ist perfekt in die neue Saison der japanischen Super GT-Meisterschaft gestartet *g*. Bei einem Regenrennen auf dem Okayama International Circuit in Japan holten sich Joao Paolo de Oliveira und Seiji Ara den Sieg in ihrem HIS ADVAN KONDO GT-R.

De Oliveira war vom dritten Platz gestartet. Aus Sicherheitsgründen wurden zuerst 2 Runden hinter dem Safety Car gefahren, dann ging das Rennen richtig los. Nach 2 Überholmanövern eroberte de Oliveira schon in Runde 3 die Führung, die er bis zum Boxenstopp in Runde 52 auf 50 Sekunden ausdehnte. Nicht ganz unbeteiligt an dieser überlegenen Leistung waren die Reifen von Yokohama, die bei den schlechten Bedingungen für perfekten Grip sorgten. Ara übernahm den Wagen und brachte ihn nach 82 Runden und einer Sicherheitsfahrt mit 21 Sekunden Vorsprung als Erster ins Ziel…

Platz 2 und 3 holten sich zwei Honda NSX, auf Rang 4 kam der IMPUL Calsonic-GT-R mit Tsugio Matsuda und Sebastien Philippe ins Ziel. Für die beiden anderen GT-R Teams war es kein guter Tag, der HASEMI TOMICA EBBRO GT-R sah die Zielflagge erst als Zwölfter und der MOTUL AUTECH GT-R vom NISMO Werksteam mit den amtierenden Meistern Satoshi Motoyama und Benoit Treluyer hatte am Schluss überhaupt 7 Runden Abstand auf dem dreizehnten Platz. Eine Kollision mit folgender Durchfahrtsstrafe und 2 außerplanmäßige Boxenstopps verhinderten eine bessere Platzierung.

Insgesamt war das jetzt schon der 5. Sieg eines GT-R in Folge. Ich bin gespannt, ob Nissan die Meisterschaft heuer wieder so dominieren wird wie im letzten Jahr *g*.

Gran Turismo 5 prologue is killing us!

If like us, you have already mastered Eiger Nordwand, scored over 10′000 points drifting your Blitz ER34 and have miraculously stayed awake long enough to accumulate enough prize dinero to purchase one of the devilishly speedy F1 Ferrari F2007’s (I think I recall 87 cumulative Daytona races in some tuned monstrosity to get the £1 million or so required – long!), you might be getting pretty bored.

“Bored! How can you say that?” I hear you cry. Well, bored is probably too harsh a word, for of course the clever little guys at GT HQ have given us our own little piece of gaming genius. We need not mention, the next generation of graphics (‘we thank you’ PS3), the immense attention to detail regarding the physics of the machines you drive, full online compatibility and the new online drift point score ranking – so you can now prove to your mate in Spain, that you do totally own him!  And of course the uncountable hours of gaming joy GT prologue gives you, however that’s just it – it’s a prologue, where is the real deal.

Gaming networks and forums the world over are speculating when the long awaited GT5 will appear, it’s been 4 years since the last GT and that was meant to arrive a year before that, but was postponed as it wasnt quiet right! We wish we could ask Kazunori Yamauchi exactly what’s going on but of course we can’t we just have to wait. But like children waiting for christmas we are finding this increasingly harder to do.

One thing is for sure though, GT5 is going to be the nuts!

While I was on the Playboy.com website trying to renew my subscription for my dad, I thought to myself…”Hmm I wonder what the 2010 Acura NSX is gonna look like?”….So I got up, went to the kitchen, drank some iced tea, came back, watched the Hills and then played Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix online with Katman for like 4 hours…

…Oh and then I went online and googled “2010 NSX” and came up with these pics. I’m still iffy on the design, as I’m sure many of you are. It’s no longer the mid-engine rear-wheel drive supercar we’re all used to seeing. I love the way the rear looks but the front I’m not too big of a fan of. Looks like the new Toyota Matrix or something. And then it has some concave stock G35 wheels on it to top it off. Ehhh…Overall I guess it’s a cool looking design. I’m not automotive designer so I guess I have no real say in the matter. Trust me I went to Art Center to study automotive design for a semester and it is fucking hard….And you know what? There was girl in that class. And she was not hot. Oh and you know another thing? Despite what people tell you, if you take “asian studies” in college, there’s no hot chicks in those classes either. It’s a myth. Of course, it really doesn’t make sense. Hot asian girls probably already know about asian studies so there would be no reason to take it. I learned the hard way. You heard it here first, from stickydiljoe.com…if you take asian studies courses to stare at hot asian chicks, you do not belong in college….

Here’s a cool see-through rendering of the car. I like the front alot better in this pics because I can’t actually see it. And remember those seats, because in 2 years or so, you will see kids peddling those seats online in the classified section of your favorite forum. And that shit will end up in somebody’s Civic….

I also stumbled onto Jon Sibal’s blog from my own blog roll, and saw his rendering of the 2010 Takata NSX…Seen below this is his beautiful rendering…

Pretty cool huh? I guess he didn’t like the front either and he modified it to his liking. He also included a cool shockwave file of how he rendered the car exactly and each step that it required….

I thought it would be cool to attempt my own rendering so I too did one…..And I am no professional, nor am I any good at anything, but here it is, just because I feel that if you’re already here, you might as well waste some more time….

Who’s is better? I don’t know….I think Jon Sibal has the edge because he went all out and actually colored his and made it professional looking….

Pasirodymas numatytas kitų metų pabaigoje, “supercar’as” technologiškai labai abejoju ar nusileis GT-R. Tik šį kartą Honda užsimoja į tokius konkurentus kaip… Ferrari F430, Aston Martin V8 Vantage ir Porsche 911 GT3. Dėl pirmų dviejų Honda iškart pralaimės charakterio stoka,o dėl Porsche… Nissan net sugebėjo laimėti prieš Porsche. Turiu galvoje netik charakteristikas.

Kaip pirmos kartos modelis turėjo 3,0 litrų V6 šis turės 5,5 litro V10 su 560 arkliais. Šią galią perduos pusiau automatinė transmisija arba kažkas panašaus į DSG ar PDK.

Ir rezultatai turėtų būti tokie. 0-100 km/h per mažiau nei 4 sekundės ir pasieks ~300 km/h maksimalų greitį. Kainos beje turėtų prasidėti nuo 400-500 tūkst. litų. Vienas dalykas neramina… Koks idiotas mokės tiek pinigų už HONDA?

Ordinarily, you would find just one hornbill on a TV antenna at least from personal observation having followed the trails of our feathery friends since March 2008. So today, odd that I saw a pair of Oriental Pied-Hornbills on an antenna right across from my immediate neighbour’s residence who this morning celebrated her wedding day and no amount of rain dampened the couple’s spirits. I thought the appearance of these love birds was quite the romantic coincidence—Love is definitely in the air!

Traditionally, firecrackers along with loud gongs and drums were used to mark the start of the procession (and fend off evil spirits) from the groom’s home to the bride’s house. In a modern day wedding, firecrackers are used to celebrate all important occasions such as Chinese New Year or opening of new business but in the case of my neighbour’s wedding, the start of the couple’s new chapter! The Nissan ELGRAND is one comfortable car for the long journey from to the Brunei capital where the groom resides.

Quite the sight for sore-eyes. The Honda NSX was once dubbed the poorman’s Ferrari and I consider myself fortunate to have driven one at a time when it was (and still very much is) a head turner. I recall the silly grin I couldn’t wipe off my face that day! Years later, I got my fix from my turbocharged Subaru  Impreza WRX, a subject of much interest and clearly one that I hadn’t found the time nor inspiration to write.

Using some spy photos of the new 2010 Acura NSX spotted on the Nürburgring in Art Nouveau leopard print Edmunds‘ JDM friends feat. Auto Holiday Magazine have put some rendered speculation.

Given what we see in these renderings, the imposing tourer is neat but not gorgeous, and follows the 2007 Detroit Auto Show notion car’s lines faster than first thought. And that’s a humiliate, because the two-seater Acura’s estimated cost tag of $160,000 will place it right on top of much prettier rivals in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Maserati Gran Turismo and Jaguar XKR.

Fitting with a 5.5-liter V10 generating upwards of 600 horsepower and 433 squash feet of torque, the potential Acura produces a gripping exhaust memo. And when tempo is not the topic, the V10 deactivates five cylinders to preclude fuel and junior emissions. The V10 is bolted to a prompt-shifting six-haste dual-clutch transmission forceful the rear wheels, while a revised type of Honda’s Super Handling AWD method generates the car’s prodigious grip levels, enabling such a nimble ‘Ring lap time.

Our insider explains that Honda has employed as much F1 construct as feasible to create ceiling downforce and honest-line stability. That is why the NSX replacement was able to seizure up at the Nürburgring and rattle off a red-hot lap time of 7 resume, 37 seconds on its first challenge, and without any cumbersome rear wings. Our font predicts that when Honda profits to the ‘Ring for the autumn testing term, it will almost indeed pole a time under 7:30, generous the GT-R an actual run for its money.

At first we show some incomprehensible renderings of new Honda NSX. Honda were hardly apt to vacation Nissan and Toyota to filch all the bellow in the supercar market as they look to afford some dangerous competition with its new NSX. Previously we had only seen prototypes of the new pattern fair the body of the S2000, but now for the first time the enter has come out screening its new body styling albeit with the annoying black and pallid camoflage.

Unlike the preceding mid-engined NSX this prototype is running a front-mid engine, with its powerplant located well behind the front wheels to guarantee superb load distribution. This should also allow the new NSX to offer 2+2 cubicle accommodation, broadening its influence against the Nissan GT-R and Lexus LF-A – particularly in the USA.

What that engine remains very much a mystery. There’s parley of a high-revving openly aspirated V10, which would fit in very comfortably with Honda’s Type R philosophy. Honda’s not as obsessed as many by big horsepower outputs, but even so a yield of 450 hp seems possible. Should such an engine be integral to the rank of lightweight body as the earlier NSX, the performance would be exceptional. Four-veer-passion, with backward bias, is also rumoured, the behavior projected to be controlled by a variety of Honda’s electronic Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.

The Honda NSX is not estimated awaiting 2009 and on top of its Japanese rivals it must also compete with the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari F430 and the Lamborghini Gallardo.
