I’m digging the overall design of these shoes. They’re basic, which is something I’m always a fan of.  I’m also a fan of velcro straps because tieing shoes are a pain.  Either that or I’m just lazy. You can cop a pair at honeyee.

I Heart gum bottoms. Need to cop these. Simple colorway, but the gummy sole makes them pop, IMO. They drop in November, and that looks to be patent leather! Patent AND gum?! Copped.

The 5th Supreme book is out. it’s got features on RZA, Diddy, Damien Hirst, and others. It drops in Japan on the 26th with a close but unspecified release date over here. If you can read Japanese, head over to Honeyee and try to cop it.

Finally, one of my favorite DOOM songs, since I haven’t heard anything new this week worth upping. This is Fazers, Gheedora style.

New school meets old school with Lasonic iPod Boombox i931.  Available at Honeyee, you can get your hands on either black or white boombox.  It comes standard with FM and AM stations, and you can also hook up previous gen ipods and nanos.  My iPod never look so cool.

What’s good.

Remember way back when, when i had a fashion update ay’day?

That’s deaded, waaaay too much for me. it started to become borderline distasteful to me. now? We got one for you once a week. from now on, I’ll take the best fashion find from each day, but since I just decided this, it’s a bunch from today, courtesy of HypeBeast, which they won’t all come from.

First up is the Medicom Toy Exhibition. They laid out it out very minimal, and they had their full arsenal on display, though there were many a bearbrick, they did well not to limit the display to our small round-faced buds.

Next up is the Nike jordan IV, in Red and Blue. I gotta have both, just me personally. They’re bound to be a big hit, so whenever these joints drop my ankle better be 100%, cuz I may have to stomp me a fellow size twelve rocker. Just sayin’.

Next is the Lasonic iPod Boombox i931. It takes an ipod, and has a battery option to rock a la Radio raheem. Coming out over at honeyee, in black and white.

Aaaaaaaaand finally, the obligatory G-shock, this one is a collab with the Brooklyn Circus. Swayt.

Quickly becoming more of an avant-garde streetwear label of sorts, BBC/Ice Cream showcase some of their new looks via THE NEW ORDER Magazine. The looks steer clear of their early graphic t-shirts/denim beginnings to two more full-fledged clothing labels, each adding a slew of different inspirations within countless uses of wild, although more sophisticated, design methods.

The influential multi-platform group behind honeyee has offered a preview into their upcoming issue of their magazine, honeyee. mag. The 9th issue earns the title of “Reality” as the main features include a look into F.I.L. Kyoto, an interview with Hiroki Nakamura regarding Visvim’s 2009-2010 fall/winter collection as well as select pieces including Hiroshi Fujirwara and Shinsuke Takizawa of NEIGHBHORHOOD among others. The magazine will release on July 9th, with purveyors including convenience stores, bookstores and retailers such as SOPH., F.I.L., Supreme, and Head Porter. For overseas availability, check your local import bookstore.

These days more and more brands seem too be including ties in their collections, and in my opinion the trend will continue into spring / summer 2010

If your a young man , and not an office worker, ties can be hard to pull off in casual situations, but this article shows it can be achieved if you match it with the correct items.

Just as Supreme released their new collection with Malcom Mclaren, honeyee caught up with him for an interview. Over the years, McLaren has been a pioneer in both the music and fashion scene including his participation with bands such as The New York Dolls and the Sex Pistols as well as working closely with Vivenne Westwood on various retail outlets. While McLaren’s efforts were seen mostly in the late 70s and 80s, his effect and participation has been unparalleled. The feature can be seen here.

Already a staple as a premier workwear label in the U.S. Carhartt is turning the tables around and drifting in a new direction. Re-inventing itself as a more fashion forward choice rather than a workwear company, Carhartt is ready to shine under a different light. The well-respected American brand is making its presence known in Tokyo’s Harajuku shopping area with its revamped fashionable apparel combined with the same exceptional quality they are known for. The inaugural opening of the store is April 29th 2009. If your in the area check it out and gives us your thoughts.

Fila Japon markası Inhomeout‘la işbirliği yapmaya nerden estiğini bilmiyoruz, ama bu Original Tennis pabucunun nerden ilham aldığı belli: Tennis kortlarından! Fila teams up with Japanese hipster brand Inhomeout to revive the old school sneaker, the Original Tennis! Clearly inspired by the clay color of a tennis court, this shoe seems fit for the spring/summer times and will probably soon drop. It has to be said that apart from the Nas ad Fila isn’t really reaching us at Pabuc!!
