HFS is what the title up there announces.  It’s freeware.  Make absolutely sure before you use this that you know what you are doing and that you have your security in place. Potentially, it allows an attacker to surf your computer.  You can share files (from your PC) on your LAN (which can be problematic on a home LAN), on the web, or anywhere between.  Read the instructions carefully.

Caveat:  I have not downloaded this.  Why?  Any security measure can be circumvented (I should know).  If I were to do so, I would only activate it at specific times.  And I have absolutely no one that I wouldn’t (rather than allowing access to my computer) post the information for on the web.  The program will work.  All too easily.

Mit dem HFS exisitiert eine klasse Möglichkeit, Dateien mit Freunden über das Internet zu tauschen. Einfach ein virtuelles Laufwerk mit Ordnern und Dateien freigeben und schon wird eine Internet-Adresse generiert, über die dann jedermann über das Web Zugriff hat.

Das Opensource-Programm ist klein, schnell und unkompliziert. Zum Datenaustausch (vor allem größerer Dateien) ist diese Lösung perfekt. Der Host-PC wird kurzerhand zum HTTP-Server.

Fazit: Super Mini-Tool zum Datentauch per “Instant-Server”.

Grazie a una segnalazione di Roviemi, un mio caro amico, ho conosciuto un software molto utile per il trasfeirmento di files da computer a computer, il programma è: HSF (Http File Server), lo potete scaricare qui.

HSF consiste in un web server gratuito con licenza GNU GPL, appositamente progettato per la pubblicazione e la condivisione dei file. Per questo la lista delle sue caratteristiche differisce da quella di un comune server web; mancano alcune funzionalità, come il supporto CGI, ma è incluso, per esempio, un contatore di download, funziona su OS da Windows 98 fino a Vista, è velocissimo sia nel downlaod che nell’upload, e una caratteristica non irrilevante: non necessità di installazione.
