Most astonishing thing about El Gouna is that it consists of several islands connected by bridges over channels and. It is often called Egypt’s Venice.

Vi har äntligen tagit oss i kragen och bokat resan till sommar och sol. December bär det iväg på liten semestertripp

En hel vecka i Egypten, Hurghada med sol, bad, snorkling, pyramider och mycket annat. Ska bli såååååååå skönt att komma bort från detta trista väder som varken är höst med vackra färger och mys eller vinter med gnistrande snö….

Vi var igår, Mannen och jag, och tog vaccinationsspruta mot Hepatit A. Det va tydligen den enda spruta man behövde och det va ju tur det. Sprutan kostade 420 kr/st!

//Sally som ska plocka fram sommarkläderna och tvätta/stryka så det är klart tills vi reser!

I’ve been wanting to kitesurf for years now, ever since I first saw someone kitesurf at least six or seven years ago. I searched for locations near Saudi when I was still living there, I tried to find somewhere in Egypt which is a country I’ve never been to, since they have Hurghada and SharmElsheikh for a qualified International kiteboarding association, and did find one in one of them at the time… But for some reason or the other… It fell back to the back burner and remained a wish that was yet to see the light.

I finally decided that it was time, went to a store, talked to the people, bought a trainer kite and have been practising. Summer is around the corner, or has already arrived in the 30+ degree weather we are having now, so I needed to get ready for it.

There is an annual kite festival at a place called Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, about and hour and a half drive from where we are, and we decided to check it out… It was wonderful… We made a video of our trip, and I will let it do the talking.

It is, however… Not as good as this professional video, but mine is personal/blog.. His is professional… So please don’t compare… I already was not going to post it… but my lovely supporting encouraging wife convinced me that it was not that bad… Thanks honey

The 1st of October proved to be a memorable day and even more of a memorable night. Why was it so significant? Well, it marked the day where Cat Parfitt and Bence Szentklaray took over Tekstreme Diving. What began as just an idea to have a few celebratory drinks together turned into a much larger Tekstreme party night!

The “Friends Bar”, a recent addition to the new marina in Hurghada, was decked out Techy style with tanks, equipment and helium balloons inviting everybody in. Even the drinks took on the theme with specialized Tekstreme cocktails and shots.

Cat says, “It was a great pleasure to see our guests, all of our friends and colleagues from many businesses in the local Hurghada area coming to support our new adventure. We are very grateful to everybody for all of your help and support”.

Morocco, Sicily Govt. vow to boost cooperation 2-9-09

2nd October 2009 renewed partnerships aimed at boosting their bilateral cooperation in Rabat – Morocco and the Autonomous Government of Sicily vowed.

Morocco also reaffirmed the kingdom’s commitment to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with the autonomous region of Sicily.
