Seriously, this might be my most anticipated game currently. It just looks so damn good. Maybe I’ll love the entire cast or most of them, because so far, I’m liking each and every character. 12/17/09 is the release for the Japanese Version and damn, it’s going to be a pain to avoid spoilers until March. It’s also going to be a pain to actually have so many games to play next year that I might be missing out on many things all because of this. Oh well. It will definitely be worth it. Hell, I’m listening to the OST, over and over and over and over again and I’m in love with it.

Timbaland ist mittlerweile aus der Hip Hop- und R’n’B-Szene nicht mehr wegzudenken. Nach drei bombastischen Solo-Alben meldet er sich nach zweijähriger Pause mit dem „Timbaland presents Shock Value 2“ (Release: 27.11.) zurück. Bei den American Music Awards vor ein paar Tagen hat Timbaland seine neue Single „Morning after dark“ mit Nelly Furtado und Soshy präsentiert. Gerüchten zufolge sollen die zwei Twilight-Stars Robert Pattinson und Kristen Stewart im Musikvideo zu diesem Song zu sehen sein. Mal sehen – hier könnt ihr erst mal den neuen Tunes von Timbaland lauschen:

With the FTC setting some new rules governing the marketing activities of affiliates and merchants alike it would seem as if the sky is falling.

Well nothing could be further from the truth and the new FTC guidelines will actually benefit more people than it will hurt.

What these new guidelines mean for sincere people who are looking for a real opportunity to make money online is that they will actually have a better chance of finding one.

Guidelines like the ones that have been set will weed out the “snake oil salesman” and product pimps making way for more ethical marketing.

What this does is raise the standard for creating actual products that produce real results and gives integrity a chance to flourish in an otherwise hype driven business.

The new guidelines will drastically cut down on the false testimonials of affiliates who resort to saying whatever they need to say to “make the sale”.

So should the new FTC guidelines cause you to run in fear with your tail between your legs?

Not if you’re an ethical person who genuinely has the best interest of your market at heart.

The latest evidence in the case against global warming was revealed in the newly released correspondence of global warming scientists and advocates.  According to the New York Times the email shows climate change believers fudging facts, changing data and trying to actively silence anyone who disagreed with the dogma of global warming.

For objective observers the case against human caused Climate Change is beginning to firm up.  For instance, one of the reasons why the term “Global Warming” has been replaced by the phrase “Climate Change” is that lately temperatures have been cooling.

If man made Global Warming was going to be the cause of the destruction of all life on earth and all that was necessary to forestall this havoc was to give up eating meat, surely anyone would do so.  Then why does Al Gore refuse to take the advice of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and become a vegetarian?  Doesn’t the Grammy, Oscar and Nobel Prize winning Mr. Gore believe in Global warming?  According to scientists at UC Davis cows are 20 times worse than trucks in their contribution to global warming.  If AL Gore is not willing to give up a hamburger and become vegetarian to save the earth, why should anyone else change any aspect of their lives on his say so?  Al Gore jets around the earth wasting fuel and spreading pollution wherever he goes.  Al Gore’s house uses 20 times the energy your does and his carbon foot print is 20 times what yours is.  Again, if Al Gore wants all western economies to radically change will he will not lift a finger to alter his own life style, why should anyone believe anything he says?

Taken together China and India have over 2 billion people.  The US has only about 300 million.  Does anyone think that China and India are doing everything they can to take technology and energy away from their people and live in the Stone Age?   As far as environmental laws go which nation is more restrictive, the US, China, or India?  Given all those facts, if global warming is man made there are only two places in the world one would go to stop it.  And neither of them is the United States.  In fact if a person truly believes in man made global warming and wanted to stop it, he would throw away his English phrase book and instead endeavor to learn Mandarin and Hindi.  If Climate Change is created by man it will be stopped in those languages, not English.

The true purpose of the Climate Change movement is a Marxist redistribution of wealth first within the United States and then throughout the world.   The Cap and Trade scheme is proof positive that it’s all a redistribution scam.  If the intent was to move the world to non fossil fuels, they would advocate the building of new nuclear power plants and covering the deserts with solar cells.  That way more jobs could be created as the nations of the earth moved away from fossil fuels.  Instead, the Climate Change religionists are placing all their chips on a scheme to empty the pockets of those who use fossil fuels and to put that money into pockets of others.  Common sense says that if they concentrate on the money rather than the fuel, it’s the money they were after all along.

Best Buy has always skirted controversy, but this storm is being whipped up by some irresponsible writing, that has fueled hundreds of comments (514 as of this morning).

It’s all about a Black Friday ad –a print circular — celebrating Thanksgiving and Eid Al-Adha. The latter is a Muslim festival.

The story attempts to be one about marketing (in)sensitivity.

It has spilled into bigoted religious attacks –creating the storm that the author, John Biggs, probably intended. In the piece he suggested the story is “going to overtake the news cycle in a few days.”  Hmmm.

I don’t want to be negative toward Mrs. Palin. I am sure she is a perfectly lovely and intelligent woman. My problem is, I am tired of the media keeping her in the news because she is the Christian Hope.

She’s not. If she is, that party is in trouble.

I am not even a republican anymore. For the longest time, I always considered myself a conservative. Christian values all the way and that line. The problem with this is that Christians aren’t limited to just the republican party and the republican party keeps demonstrating how they cant keep the Christian values they tout. They have religious values running out both ends, but that isn’t the same as Christian values so it doesn’t really count.

Last election is when I cast aside my republican card. I will still vote for them, if they are the best candidate and they agree with my values. Not all republicans meet those criteria though. Most compromise themselves and I have no use for that. I had a hard time voting for McCain when he wouldn’t even claim to be a Christian. Obama did though. Now I don’t agree with Obama’s actions and they don’t seem to agree with biblical principal, but he could at least claim that he was / is a Christian.

Sarah Palin came in touting her Christianity full force. I guess she was the republicans idea of how to get the conservative Christians on board. The problem is she doesn’t demonstrate the values either. I got annoyed with her comment that it is just too hard for kids these days to abstain from sex. It is hard, but they can do it. She compromised Christian values. Her new book Going Rogue gives a general feel good approach to her relationship with God, but it seems to be lacking the commitment to it that she is credited for.

I am not going to say she isn’t a Christian. Anyone can claim it. This is why being a “Christian” is such a hard way to judge a persons character. Claiming it has no special power behind it. Claiming it doesn’t mean you are special. If you claim it thought, people will hold you to it. But there is so much compromise in the world, who’s version of Christianity are we holding them to?

Please forget Sarah Palin as the Great Christian Hope. Jesus already has that role.

Unless you think making a handful of chumps rich is your idea of a good home-based business opportunity. These handful of chumps may include names such as Bill Rodgers, and Harland Stonecipher. Note that the sheeple who praise them (and the lord) are of the ‘following’ type, they’d rather be part of a congregation that all believe in the same things rather than thinking for themselves… Followers of Christ and followers of anything/anyone else that will take them by the hand and promise to lead them to a life of freedom and riches. These are the types of people Bill & Harland market to, because they know they can get people easily sucked in with just the right scripted persuasion. Then these suckers will go out like pre-programmed robots and recruit more suckers.

Blastoff is just the latest tactic to gather as much money as possible from these people. Not for the greater good, or to make me, my friends and my family rich and prosperous. But simply to make themselves rich. The family member I had mentioned in my previous post had of course approached me to ‘get on board’ with this thing. And they even spammed two of my personal accounts and my Facebook account. I later discovered that Blastoff actually had a video tutorial specifically detailing members on how to spam their contacts. And now their ip has been black-listed all over the place as a result! I also stumbled upon a discussion forum noting how Blastoff had initially registered a hidden ip through GoDaddy (perhaps hoping this would prevent the black-listing issue?), along with some other interesting discrepancies regarding their domain registration, such as a two year domain registration, suggesting the people behind this venture don’t expect to keep it around long.

I could go on about the inner workings of the BlastOff Network and how they’ve been misrepresenting their portal site and their affiliation to the retailers, but I’ve found some links to other people who explain it much better than I would, so have at it, educate yourself:

That oughtta sum this one up. But before you leave, please consider helping to stop these MLM & pyramid schemes by signing the petition to Congress to investigate the FTC.

Pre-Paid Legal is one of the longest running pyramid schemes around. > A recent investigative report on its imminent collapse. And I’ve been asked by a family member to join. Of course I said “no thanks”, endured the “it’s not what you think (a scam)” spiel, then proceeded to do my own research, my due diligence… There’s plenty of history of lawsuits and complaints out there that one would think would be enough of  a deterrent to stay away from the scheme. Unfortunately a lot of people choose to ignore and continue on recruiting, preying upon those at their genuinely weakest moments when really these recruiters have nothing more than a genuine agenda of building up their own down-lines. And yes, it has been a hard lesson to learn this with my own family member. Best I can do is not communicate with them until they shake free of this destructive mind set, hopefully it won’t take too long. We’ll see.

Coincidentally, some of the people behind PPL seem to have partnered with a new venture in hopes of recruiting more associates via the Blastoff Network. Or maybe they’re just trying to stock up on cash to buy themselves out for the umpteenth time. I’ll write more about the so-far disastrous Blastoff “next best thing to hit the internet” in another post.

After reading all this, one would wonder how they stay in business. Well we’ll have to ask the FTC. Better yet, sign the petition to Congress to investigate the FTC.

Stick with honest work and believing in yourself no matter how hard things can get. Don’t let recruiters intimidate you by saying “you must not want to make money” or “you must not want to live to your fullest potential”. Intimidation is not a loving way to treat your friends or family.

There are some seriously shady people out there making cheesy little YouTube videos in an attempt to make whatever it is their pushing go viral. Usually they’re pushing a way to get rich quick, a way to retire early, a way to get that fancy new car you’ve always dreamed of, a way to take your dream vacation, a way to make money while you sleep…

These chumps always have a link to their recruitment sign-up page, usually at the end of the video or at the Info section of the YouTube posting. These ‘alluring’ links and/or tags often contain catch words like: millions, money, dreams, success, leads, cashflow, residual income, business opportunity, revenue share… you get the idea. The scheme is to get the viewer excited and want to sign up to their MLM scam, networking scam, pyramid scam, or even Ponzi scams. The sad thing is that there are plenty of vulnerable people out there, especially in our current economy crisis, falling for these traps. Usually resulting in, more often than not, silence on their part after they eventually realized they’ve been scammed.

I’ve posted some  of these YouTube videos for your viewing pleasure and education. Notice how they often have their comments disabled to avoid dealing with rebuttals that might reveal their scam. Some have comments which they might even try and argue because they truly believe themselves that what they’re doing is running a legitimate business. They have already fallen victim to the mind control tactics used to keep them recruiting, and some people are deep in it.

Anyone with posture and gestures like this guy is just putting on a show, and clearly enjoying the (cheesy) spotlight.

This woman wants to counsel you on your fears.
She seems sweet, introducing you to her family and such, but she wants to remind you that you shouldn’t let your internal fears stop you from succeeding, and then pitches her 7 day boot camp on how to get leads. Have a great day now, bye bye!

Many people use twitter these days. Twitter is a social network site where people can tell what is happening in their lives. The posts cannot be longer than 140 characters. Mostly, people even use less than 140 characters. You can read posts with ‘hmm.. delicious coffee!’ or ‘At school!’.

However, do these posts really contain interesting information and is this social network site a valuable tool for communication? No, I do not think so. Some parts of peoples lives have to remain private and some of it is only interesting for the closest friends and family. I do not think this is a good tool for communication, because of the ‘nonsense’ topics. Many posts do not even contain serious information and not everyone receive reactions on their posts. In that way, the communication is not very good.

To continue, Celebrities write on twitter too and give people an inside of their private lives. Of course, they have to do whatever they want and maybe it is better to write it yourself than letting the press write stuff about you. But what is placed on twitter can be used again by gossip magazines and so on.

Finally, twitter is a communication tool, but just for fun and not for the serious information you read in the everyday newspaper. Yes, I think it is a hype and in a while people will not use it daily anymore. So, let’s start communicating in a real way.
