Sometimes I too, like you, can’t help but go to that pretend place where we can be together without holding back. Go to movies without raising eyebrows. Go out as a couple and like you said, we’d be the envy of our friends. But reality bites and it sinks in.

You told me you keep picturing me walking down that aisle. We both know that’s not going to happen. And that’s why I wanted to end it that night. Before I even drown myself further with these illusions. Some things are so much easier said than done.

When you said don’t go, you stirred something in me and I just knew that I couldn’t. I can’t imagine being happy for you on that day when I know that I’ll feel crushed when I hear you say your vows. You asked me what you had to do to keep my heart from breaking. We both know it is inevitable. Like death. My hands are tied, I can’t give you any guarantee and I can’t ask you to not break my heart when in the process you’ll break hers.

And I can’t pursue my happiness by compromising the happiness of those I love. Can I?

MALL is a place that I love to visit, especially when I have enough time for window shopping. There were many CD stores in Mall, such as Disc Tara. But, I found this song, If You’re Not The One, not in music stores, but in dress boutique. I asked to the waiter who is the singer, then she showed me a CD cover: Daniel Bedingfield. I tried to remember it’s name when I went out.

Daniel Bedingfield, born December 3, 1979. He is Britton singer and songwriter but born in New Zealand. He is the brother of pop singer Natasha Bedingfield and share the Guinness World Record for being the only siblings to have had solo number ones in United Kingdom chart history. For me, If You’re Not The One is the best song of him. Here I have another three songs, include If You’re Not The One:
