Am incercat si eu site-ul asta ca sa fiu si eu in rand cu lumea, nu-i asa Erised? Well.. un pic cam prostut cel care a realizat site-ul dar cum am zis si la filmul District 9: “Nu totul e facut de cei mai inteligenti oameni din lume!” . A fost totusi interesant (pana la un punct) sa vad cat de variat “gandeste”. Insa.. la un moment dat a devenit previzibil.. pana si erorile au fost previzibile ) ca veneau, nu ca erau atat de stupide. Am mai intrat o data insa a fost un dialog dirty, de nepublicat pe blog. I went to SM Mall of Asia’s SMX Convention Center, to attend the 30th Manila International Book Fair. I didn’t check the time I arrived at that time.

One/1 reason came to my mind is that, I almost at the exiting area of MRT Taft Station, I couldn’t find the/my MRT ticket. So I decided to a buy lost ticket that costs fifteen pesos (Pup 15.00), and one stored value ticket that costs 100 pesos.

I put my stored value at the main compartment of my backpack. I don’t know why I put my stored value, in that area of my backpack.

Well anyway. I gave my free entrance from the booth of Christian Literature Crusade.

I bought a book from Ateneo Press (Ateneo de Manila University Press) called Lalake sa Dilim (Man in the Darkness) by Benjamin Pascual. It (the book) costs 215 pesos. It the first book I bought from a press owned and managed by a university.

And then, I bought the following books from Christian Literature Crusade:
iGod (50 Pesos)
Every Teenager’s Little Black Book on Reaching Your Dreams (50 Pesos)
Pass A Load (25 Pesos)
Losing Weight – Permanently (100 Pesos)

After that, I went to Megamall to attend my niece’s first/1st birthday party in Tia Maria’s. The location of the aforementioned restaurant is located in third/3rd floor of the Mega Atrium of Megamall.

When the train I was riding yesterday when I was going to the aforementioned event and location, the rain started to fall. The left sleeve and the back of my polo got wet.

And also, aside from Ateneo Press, UP’s University of the Philippines Press, and UST’s University of Santo Tomas Publishing House, are also there, at the aforementioned event.

I don’t know if I will be able to attend next year’s Manila International Book Fair.

1º ESPECIALIZACIÓN: Apple reduce su gama a 3 productos. Todo el mundo conoce el iPod, el iPhone y el iMac, pero ¿cuántos recuerdan los modelos estrella de Sony o Nokia?.

2º FIDELIZACIÓN. Todo, hasta el embalaje, está diseñado para que la “experiencia Apple” cree “adicción”, para que el usuario pase a ser un fan, el sueño de toda compañia.

3º PERSONALIDAD. Los productos Apple irradian tanta personalidad como su creador Steve Jobs. A nadie le importa quién preside Nokia o Sony pero todo lo que rodea al fundador de Apple levanta expectación o temor. En enero, los rumores sobre sus problemas de salud hundieron un 7% la cotización de la compañia. No existe otra empresa, de estas dimensiones, con tal dependencia de una sola persona.

Y es que ÉL es el verdadero secreto de Apple, porque ÉL es Apple, ÉL es el iGod.

De ahí, que el día que tod@s tecleemos desde un Mac, escuchemos música en un iPod o llamemos desde un iPhone, Apple será una más.

I like being in control.   I like the fact that there are online radio services like Pandora and Last.fm where I can choose what type of music I want to listen -  I can even vote on the music so it’s even more tailored to my preferences.  Our culture is geared towards customizing things just the way we want them.  Look at cell phones… there are tons of apps so you can do exactly what you want when you want it.  You can access a world of info in just a matter of seconds.  And if things aren’t fast enough for you, just wait a few months because things will get even faster.

So when I approach God with my thoughts on how things should be, should I be surprised when He doesn’t respond like I want?  The reality is that life isn’t about me.  Honestly, I want it to be about me.  I think most of us do.  After all, that’s where sin entered into the picture to begin with – Eve & Adam choosing what they wanted instead of what God wanted.

I’ve been reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan.  Chan dives in from the get-go and is quick to remind us that things aren’t about us and that all things are made for God’s purposes (Dan 4).  He highlights how big the universe is and how small we are in comparison.  He delves into the intricate design of a caterpillar.  He points out that God is the One who has made all these things and that, quite frankly, He gets to set the rules and the purpose of everything.

To be honest, I struggle with all of this sometimes.  I struggle with the whole idea of surrender.  Following Christ means letting go of what I want and of how I think things should go.  Scripture makes it clear that God can do greater things in my life than I can even imagine, so the issue isn’t about what I get in exchange.   The issue comes back to faith.  It comes back to pride.  It comes back to me embracing all that Christ is, wholeheartedly, setting what I want aside.

I am thankful that God is patient.  I’m thankful that He pursues me.  I’m thankful He took the first step.  He is the Mighty King and yet He knows how many hairs I have on my head.  He offers us the opportunity to experience joy for all of eternity.  He is the One thing that won’t be changing.

May His name be praised.

Welcome to the “new-look” Peril Planet. I have switched to a blog format which I am hoping will make it easier for me to keep in contact with you and generally encourage me to update the site more often. My previous site was perfectly functional but not the easiest thing for me to update, coordinate or generally fiddle around with. Hopefully this one will be.

In the spirit of this new openness, let me tell you what I have been up to lateley;

• First of all, I have recorded a new episode of Here Be Gamers (a podcast for gamers, by gamers) with Marty Sullivan and am in the process of getting it ready to drop. Look for it at www.herebegamers.com or on iTunes very soon.
• I have also been talking with Andrew Smith , Scott Vandervalk and Michael Wenman about GenCon Oz 09, in preparation for our Indie Games On Demand event (iGOD). There will be a wiki all about that up very soon.
• Finally, I have been slowly plodding away on a couple of projects. I have been really busy with work lately, so they have mostly been perculations in the back of my brain, but I am making progress. I can’t tell you too much at this stage, other than one has something to do with miniature figures and the other is the revival of an older project.

@OCriador já é um personagem do twitter antigo e tão famoso que ganhou o prêmio Vitor Fasano juntamente com Renato Gaucho.

A idéia do SAC é fazer com que pessoas comentem e recebam uma resposta direta de Deus para suas reclamações.

Outro caso que dominou as redes foi a criação de uma linha telefônica direta com Deus. John van der Dong criou uma linha na Holanda onde é possível ouvir a seguinte mensagem: “Este é o telefone de Deus. No momento não posso lhe atender, mas deixe uma mensagem ou ligue de volta mais tarde, e quem sabe o que escutará.” (Segundo o site Gnotícias)

A idéia do artista era comparar a oração com o ato de fazer uma ligação! Ele também escolheu um número de celular para sugerir exatamente a questão de que Deus está sempre disponível.

E o nosso último caso e não menos importante é o chat criado para você conversar online com Deus. O nome do site é IGOD / Artificial Intelligence Chat. Um chat onde você “tecnicamente” estaria conversando com Deus mas é apenas um mecanismo para conversar com uma inteligência artificial pré programada!

O que você acha? Considera errado usar o nome de Deus desta forma ou acha que é apenas um brincadeira mas que incentiva as pessoas procurarem Deus?

¿Cuántas veces hemos oído a alguien decir que ha recibido una señal divina? ¿Casualidades increíbles?. En noticias anteriores se ha comentado aquí sobre figuras de Jesús que aparecen en la bolsas de Cheetos. Algunos escépticos y ateos malvados no se creen que tras esos actos se encuentre la mano de Dios.

Por eso, fue necesario inventar un método para dar credibilidad a esas “apariciones”. Se trata de un dispositivo llamado “Yo,God”: una pequeña esfera con una manecilla que indicará de forma inequívoca la presencia cercana de Dios.
