Creatrix, it’s my moms designer name.
it’s Latin for a female who brings forth or produces; a mother.

originally i was going to base it off of this logo i had previously done before i made more thumbnail sketches and further brainstormed:

can you tell what my inspiration for that one was?
i worked a lot on creating the vector looking image of the horse, especially since the original didnt have all legs intact, i had to create the back ones myself, since in the original image the grass was covering the hooves up.

I made the palette, splatters, and brushes.  all my own work.

We were given a photo in my Digital Illustration class and we had to recreate it with the pen tool, and gradients.  We then created graffiti  and have to free transform it onto one of the blank walls.  This is my finished piece.  I opted to take out the dining room table and chairs, as well as the couch for now so I can make the basics of the room look as real as possible.  I want to continue to work on it adding back in the furniture to make it look complete.  I’m pretty please so far.  I haven’t used gradients before this and it was a little tricky to get hte hang of, but I think it looks pretty realistic thus far.  Feel free to leave some feedback!

teThis campaign was for my Advance Design class.  We had to choose a cause and create ads and promotional/take away pieces.  I took breast cancer and tried to turn it from a death sentence into being something preventable.

So far so good.  The fan page is up at Facebook and Scribledude.com is going to be up as soon as I can redesign the resume.

Also “Daily” Musings will be back in full swing once I have the site up and running smoothly.  Thirty Illustrations Here We Come!!  I’m pumped to be getting back into the swing of things with this project cause I’m excited to see the book that will result from it.

Last but not least, I’m shooting to get back into screen printing again.  I want to try to schedule a usual time for me to get into the screen printing facilities and get something produced for the holidays.  So far my ideas are , as usual, t shirts and maybe custom holiday cards.  Any other ideas people would want to see me screen print?

eine wortmarke….zu besprechen was das ist und wie man eine erstellt hat mindestens genauso lange gebraucht wie über das klassifizieren von schriften zu sprechen. lang und das thema ist noch nicht durch, seriefen, tropfenbildung, mikrotypography….. und zu guter letzt weil wir das ja so gut können pfade zeihen.  hmm nicht ganz richtig ähnliche schriften in pfade umwandeln und diese zu eine anderen umwandeln.  puh und nun wird daraus ein stempel. ob die schrift nun zu mir passt oder nicht das dürft ihr beurteilen…

…mit der bahn und mit dem auto….ihr werdet es finden und die schule sieht tatsächlich so aus.  hmm das es harte arbeit  war muss ich ja nicht sagen, aber in den letzten wochen gab es noch größere hürden als diese…

eine echte herrausforderung wenn man sowas noch nie gemacht hat. Pfade ziehen ist wohl hier das stichwort ah und ebenen kunst… nun da jeder erkennen kann was es ist, denke ich habe ich die aufgabe ganz gut gelöst.
