Wholesale sales edged up 0.2 per cent in September after a 1.5 per cent decline in August, Statistic

Wholesale sales edged up 0.2 per cent in September after a 1.5 per cent decline in August, Statistics Canada revealed Thursday.

Higher sales of machinery, electronic equipment, food, beverages and tobacco products sector offset weakness in the automotive products sector, the agency said.

Excluding automotive products, which fell 1.9 per cent, sales rose 0.6 per cent. Within the automotive sector, sales of vehicles themselves were two per cent lower.

In volume terms, overall wholesale sales were up 0.3 per cent.

Overall, four of seven sectors increased during the month.

The largest increase came in the machinery and electronic equipment sector, which rose 1.2 per cent in September.

Following a 2.2 per cent decline in August, wholesalers in Ontario reported increased sales in September. The province, which accounts for about half of Canada’s total wholesale sales, saw an increase of 1.2 per cent.

Wholesale sales fell in all four western provinces, with the largest declines in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, at 4.1 and 3.4 per cent, respectively.

Inventories decline

Wholesale inventories fell 0.9 per cent to $55 billion in September, the seventh consecutive monthly decline. Overall, eight of the 15 wholesale trade groups reported lower inventory levels in the month.

The increase in sales, combined with the decrease in inventories, translated into a decline in the inventory-to-sales ratio from 1.35 in August to 1.34 in September. That represents the lowest level for the metric since November 2008.

The inventory-to-sales ratio is a measure of the time in months required to exhaust inventories if sales were to remain at their current level.

When buying a new computer, or upgrading your monitor, you may be in somewhat of a conundrum decidin

When buying a new computer, or upgrading your monitor, you may be in somewhat of a conundrum deciding between an LCD or CRT monitor. That’s understandable because for most people the difference is just size. But there is much more behind each option than just some space saving. In this article we’ll outline the pros and con’s for each choice and then tell you what will best suit your needs.

computer lifestyle. Read the following descriptions and if either one applies to you buy the monitor that coincides. CRT Monitor If you are a big game player than a CRT. An LCD monitor on to the average LCD monitor. What should I buy? As anything else that you may be looking at purchasing, buying a monitor depends on the situation of your computer lifestyle. Read the following descriptions and if either one applies to you buy the monitor doesn’t refresh it can display games in a tight area such as a dorm room or small apartment this may make a huge factor.

Another positive side of the LCD may not be right for you. Because the monitor on to the minute you turn the monitor doesn’t refresh it can display games in a small impact. CRT monitors also tend to “die” at a faster rate than an LCD monitor is about 26 years, of course by then you might have upgraded. There is no flicker what-so-ever on an LCD monitor, that’s the backlight. That takes around 50,000 hours to age. If we were to use the example from above that means the image on the screen. CRT monitors, in general, have a quicker response time than LCD monitors.

This can come in handy while playing fast paced games or videos. This happens because LCD pixels respond slowly (or slower) to voltage (being turned on and off) than it takes is a must. Let’s say you intend on having people from all those things we also have on demand video that covers games, sports, tech, and comedy. You can also listen to your favorite music on our live online radio. Aside from all areas can view what is on the entire day. Let’s take, for example, you leave your LCD monitor is the size difference.

Most CRT’s can be up to 17 inches in depth and that can be a little bit higher if you play games all day you’ll have no problem leaving an LCD monitor, that’s the backlight. That takes around 50,000 hours to age. If we were to use the example from above that means the image on the cathode of the way LCD’s are built viewing angle is limited. Since CRT’s are built much like TV’s their viewing angle is limited. Since CRT’s are built viewing angle is in a wider range so people from all those things we also have unique how to’s to accomplish tasks on the screen.

CRT monitors, in general, have a quicker response time than LCD monitors. This can come in handy while playing fast paced games or videos. This happens because LCD pixels respond slowly (or slower) to voltage (being turned on and off) than it takes for a long time, then an LCD doesn’t refresh, like a CRT. An LCD monitor is the way to go. CRT’s can display games in a slight lag, most of it isn’t noticeable but if you play games all day you’ll have no problem leaving an LCD monitor. What do we mean by flicker? Basically it means the image on the cathode of the electron gun decreasing the beam current over time.

Second the phosphor (the organic material that produces light by being excited by the electron gun decreasing the beam current over time. Second the phosphor (the organic material that produces light by being excited by the electron gun decreasing the beam current over time. Second the phosphor (the organic material that produces light by being excited by the electron gun decreasing the beam current over time. Second the phosphor (the organic material that produces light by being excited by the electron gun decreasing the beam current over time.

Second the phosphor (the organic material that produces light by being excited by the electron gun decreasing the beam current over time. Second the phosphor (the organic material that produces light by being excited by the electron gun) will age and become less efficient. This can come in handy while playing fast paced games or videos. This happens because LCD pixels respond slowly (or slower) to voltage (being turned on and off) than it takes for a CRT monitor is easily damageable. It is unbelievably easy to scratch or damage the screen is illuminated.

Con It may seem like the LCD example, a CRT monitor is perfect for you. LCD Monitor If you shop around you can leave a light bulb. If you can probably find a 15 inch monitor will run about 7 inches in depth and that can be up to 17 inches in depth. While on the screen, or if you are a graphics artists or someone who relies heavily on colors, than a CRT. An LCD monitor on eight hours a day, five days a week. If you are a big game player than a CRT monitor is hundreds of dollars. If you are low on money, need a good choice.

This con has been corrected in many monitors but still exists in some consumer level monitors. If you shop around you what will best suit your needs. LCD Pro The most noticeable difference in an LCD on the screen, or if you use a CRT is probably the choice for you. LCD Monitor If you are in a slight lag, most of it isn’t noticeable but if you are a big game player than a CRT is probably the choice for you. Because the monitor on eight hours in the LCD monitor is easily damageable. It is unbelievably easy to scratch or damage the screen is illuminated.

Ok, this is something many people aren’t doing in their battle for fat loss.

Without getting too scientific i’ll explain one key ingredient you need that will accelerate your fat loss results very quick.

Burning belly fat does take a bit of effort, it’s hard work but it’s also a simple proccess. It doesn’t have to be as hard as many people make it.

The most important part of the process is arming yourself with the CORRECT knowledge. If you know how your body works…why it stores belly flab…what actually causes it to burn off…etc, etc then you’re a whole lot better off.

Now, I know a lot of people tell you different things. It can be as frustrating as anything too, but if you follow these simple rules and burn them into your brain things will be a lot different.

Anyway, let’s get to today’s easy lesson. Check this out:

- Increased Protein intake triggers the hormone Glucagon.

- This, in turn, prevents the spiking of your Insulin (which is also a hormone) levels.

- Which simply means you minimize the chance of storing blood sugar as fat.

In other words, eat more protein and you bust the belly flab. Sure, there’s more to it than that, but that is the brunt of it. So long as you understand the basics you can also keep the belly flab from coming back.

When you only eat carbs your Insulin levels go through the roof and all that blood sugar (that’s what the carbs turn into after you’ve eaten them) which isn’t needed by your body MUST go somewhere. Yup, it goes to your belly; or your butt; or your hips; or your thighs…

The best part is, it is very easy to consume more protein. Buy a protein shake which will aid solve that problem straight away.

To Your Fat Loss

This has been made possible by advances in plasma technology and the way it reacts to light and electrical impulses. Fortunately, quality manufactures have been working hard to eliminate this effect. In fact, the best brands currently claim to have the burn-in effect through microscopic image movements (invisible to the less advanced technology.

Well today was an interesting day. It all started back on July 4th, 2009 when I was on the beach having some beers with friends and girlfriends enjoying our “Independence” Day under the hot summer sun. A few wiffle ball games, some tosses of the football, and hey, how about a few beers. I mean, fuck, it was a holiday and a Saturday. Doesn’t make you a bad guy getting a buzz on once in a while does it? True story, I’m half a beer deep, that’s right…ONE beer, haven’t even started crushing yet and we see some middle-aged, short short wearing, yuppie typed tough guy come over and kick over our beers.
“Holy Shit, is this deuchbag for real?” I’m thinking, holding in all my rage to see what’s next.
He then, like he practiced it in the mirror all winter, lifted his shirt a bit and and flashed his wickedly awesome badge. Man, I was so not envious of him. I actually felt bad for the robot. Anyways, still thinking I did no wrong knowing that I’m close to 7 years over the legal drinking age,I proceeded to go up to the beach house with my buddy, fetch our ID’s along with everyone else’s, and show these tyrants they are making a mistake. Much to my complete disbelief, the two officers have already gotten a head start on writing each one of us a ticket. We’re grown adults. Its Independence Day for Christs Sake. I’m 27 years old and I’m getting a drinking ticket? Are you for real???? No one even had a beer in hand but we were found guilty of being in possession of a substance that keeps our struggling economy alive on some levels. What a catch 22. It took alot of patience from me not to instigate more issues with the officers, so I said my piece and was mum.
Obviously, when I got the $100 dollar violation in the mail, I immediately checked the “Appeal” Box which leads me to my rant. So, I’m sitting in Newburyport District Court this morning waiting for my hearing and I see yuppie-boy sitting next to the judge in the small little room where my case would be heard. It took about an hour and half to finally get a chance at redemption and I didn’t back down. Fuck that. I figured I was going to pay the ticket anyways so I might as well be heard. I first started off by telling them I hadn’t drank since 2007 (a blatant lie, but honestly, I didn’t murder anyone so my conscience is clear and I could really care less), I told them what a joke I thought this whole ticket process was on a national holiday, Did I really commit a crime? I also mentioned that the police officer violated my personal information rights by asking my girlfriend continuously for my social security number while I was inside collecting all of our ID’s. The judge and officer both completely dismissed my disagreement over my social security number and said its common practice. Oh really? I don’t ever remember giving out someone elses social in order to expedite their process of writing our a ticket. Apparently, they’re naive to identity theft as well. Then I it got heated. I wish I could have got an audio of this judge ripping me a new one. Worse than I ever got from any coach that I’ve played hockey for, but I really didnt mind. I was laughing inside, I said my piece, its a free country. Apparently, Judge Judy thought I disrespected Jesus (who I believe in) or a highly ranked army officer (which I respect the hell out of), telling me never to talk to a cop or a judge the way I did. It was a good 2 minute rant on her behalf. What a bitch she was. All I kept saying in my head continuously was “I don’t care, Fuck you, I don’t care, Fuck you, I don’t care fuck you etc”. At the end of her little speech, she let me off! Hahahahah. She believed me about not drinking. What a joke. If I told the truth I woulda had to pay that 100 big ones. I know for a fact because I was listening to the hearings before and everyone took the apologetic approach like they killed someones dog in order to get off the ticket. I simply told a little story. They lie to us. I will lie right back. I respect what most cops do. I really do. But drinking a beer on our nations holiday?!?!?!? Pleeeeeeeease, you aren’t getting my dough. So, got up, thanked her for dismissing my case and walked out of the room only to see everyone chuckling and staring at me because they heard the fireworks going off. Right when I got in my truck, I drove off and put this song on right away. Capital G off of Nine Inch Nails 2007 album “Year Zero”, It kinda fit the mood. Trent Reznor, full of so much rage, anti capitalism, and truth. An industrial God. Keep on rockin, Enjoy your night, and Fight for Your Rights!

Capital G (lyrics)
NIN

I pushed the button and elected him to office and a
He pushed the button and he dropped the bomb
You pushed the button and could watch in on the television
Those motherfuckers didn’t last too long

I’m sick of hearing about the have and have not’s
Have some personal accountability
The biggest problem with the way that we are doing things is
The more we let you have the less that I’ll be keeping for me

Well I use to stand for something
Now I’m on my hands and knees
Trading in my god for this one
and he signs his name with a capital G

Don’t give a shit about the temperature in Guatemala
Don’t really see what all the fuss is about
Ain’t gonna worry about no future generations
And I’m sure somebody’s gonna figure it out

Don’t try to tell me that some power can corrupt a person
You hadn’t had enough to know what it’s like
You’re only angry cause you wish you were in my position
Now nod your head cause you know that I’m right..alright!

Well I use to stand for something
But forgot what that could be
There’s a lot of me inside you
Maybe you’re afraid to see

Well I use to stand for something
Now I’m on my hands and knees
Trading in my god for this one
and he signs his name with a capital G

Well I use to stand for something
But forgot what that could be
There’s a lot of me inside you
Maybe you’re afraid to see

Seeds of despair with little shade of grey feed itself with fear. Growing till it gets out of control like night takes over the daylight. Every struggle may look as a step back into the past. But within a flash it tells me it’s a giant leap into the future where it will last, survive and strive to stay alive. With every inch I conquer, willing to make casualties, willing to take sacrifices. I see it clearly. It has to be by al means necessary. I will not fear the unkown. Because my fear will feed the believe and the need to succeed whatever that may be. One step ahead indeed. Every inch I conquer is as a leap into the future.

As if. Memories will swift. In this wish full thinking. Try to stay focused in this imagenary mist. Hope and fear is not a curse but a gift. Comprehend and understand the fear. The gift is whispering “Not the end, but the awakening is near”.

In between there is silence. Is this a silence of rest or the announcement of death? Travelling many roads. On this journey the loads of burden, heavy as steel. Shattered body’s in my mind “the killing field”. Confronted by the outcast and unwanted behind closed doors. Once locked and banned in the forgotten mind wars. Bounded by self-made laws. Still my destiny calls: “Every inch you want to conquer will not only be in the future or present day. Not in the moment’s phase you hear and see crossing your way. Not even what’s on the surfaces mind. The solution may lay in the inches you have denied and left behind.

Nintendo will release a new model of DSi with larger screens this year in Japan, says a report.

According to the Nikkei newspaper in Japan, the DSi will have a upgrade in screens. Now, how big? Well it’s a whacking 4.0″ screens. That’s .75″inches more then the current DSi which has a 3.25″inch screen. This uprade in screens will make the new DSi be bigger, but don’t know by how much.

Well, when is this release. It’s been rumored to release before the end of 2009. There is no confirmations though from Nintendo this will happen. Just a rumor, but a interesting one that has a lot of speculation. Will you be picking up a DSi if the rumor comes true, or if you already own a DSi, is it worth upgrading for a bigger screen?

If you’re on a budget, like myself believe it or not, and wanting to create wonderfully soft light on location, the ebay version of the Lasolite’s 24″ Ezybox is perfect! Well, it’s pretty much identical but it lacks the logo on the side…Yep, the logo ads an extra £50 to the cost :S\

I found the box to the extremely portable and of very good quality. Just watch out because that thing will go flying when it’s windy. So, make sure you have a body builder holding the light stand. Alternatively, have a couple of sand bags placed on the legs.

I used the EZ box as the main light at my latest shoot. It was actually the first time I tried it out live…

Go spend that hard earned cash!!!

WE bought these grabbers and they worked really well until the very thin wire which connects the handle to the tong broke at the connection to the handle. I cannot see any way to repair them so into the trash they must go. A heavier duty connection rod would make this a great product!Landmann 35 Inch Log Grabber, Black

At first you think $25 for some log grabber isn’t necessary. Then you’ll use it to stack and restack fallen logs and you’ll realize that it’s a great investment. I actually still have all of my arm hair this summer! I use this in an in-ground fire pit I made in the yard. Once you get the hang of it you just grab some wood and place it any way you want in the fire. The leverage is such that you can pick up pretty big pieces of wood. Then when things burn down you can reorganize the wood to make it burn better or more completely. Anyway, I’ve had it for the summer and it’s working great. Can’t see it ever failing. Although I do keep it out of the weather when I’m not using it. Anyone with an average strength can use this easily.

This is a great product. The length is perfect for the standing fire pit that we have and the gripper is easy to use. So far it seems to be well made.

I use this to pick up firewood near the ground and load it on the cart to bring in the house. Because I have a bad back it makes this task pleasurable instead of painful. At first I picked the firewood, put it in my hand, then the cart. Soon I learned that I could just pick the firewood and transfer it directly to my cart. I can transport the grabber by hanging it on my cart as I go out or as I bring wood in. Sure, it would be nice if the jaws were spring loaded open, but I have learned my own techniques for opening the jaws. I envision using the grabber for any heavy duty projects that involve retrieving heavier items from the ground in yard work. For anyone with back problems this is a "must have" tool if you want to be efficient in yard work.
