Part of my assignments for the India trip is to journal about feelings and activities associated with the trip. My intention is to journal here and share what I am experiencing with all who are interested.

So, here goes!

First and foremost, I am extremely grateful for all of the support I have already received. I am absolutely blown away with the people who have contributed! I am in awe.

The thing is, I cannot do this without your help. I applied with knowledge that I do not have funding for this sort of thing. So, I must absolutely depend upon God’s provision. If you have a sense that you want to send money to the cause, or that you want to commit to praying for us, please follow through on it. You will be blessed through following that leading!

This seminar is a 3 hour class, and I have plenty of work to do for it. So, as I approach the end of this difficult and challenging semester, with final papers and final tests, I am also gearing up to read and respond to two books before we even leave. Then there is this journal!

SNNA acompañará denuncia de ataque a comunidad indígena de Alto Paraná

El Abogado Benigno Cáceres  de la Secretaría  Nacional de la Niñez y de la Adolescencia (SNNA) de Alto Paraná,  en diálogo con la 1300 AM indicó que   presentarán una acusación de violación de derechos humanos para reforzar la denuncia que fue presentada por el Instituto Nacional del indígena (INDI) con relación al caso de los nativos que fueron rociados con agroquímicos el viernes pasado en el departamento de Alto Paraná.

Lamentó que luego de 24 horas los funcionarios del  Ministerio Público recién aparecieron en el lugar. Dijo que los empleados estatales no realizaron ninguna intervención en la zona para incautar la avioneta que realizó la fumigación en los sojales.

Agregó que la SEAM, la SENAVE y la fiscalía deben intervenir en el caso de delito contra el medio ambiente ante  falta de protección de barrera boscosa y otros requisitos legales que incumplen los sojeros brasileros.

hier ein kleiner Konzerthinweis! Die noch sehr junge Band The Stars’ Tennisballs hat schon sehr bald ihren dritten Auftritt. Der zugleich die erste EP der Band vorstellt.

Die Band setzt sich aus drei leidenschaftlichen Musikern zusammen. Der Musikstill lässt sich am besten mit den Wörtern Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Indie-Rock und DIY Punkspirit beschreiben. Zwei der Bandmitglieder spielten zuvor viele Jahre in der Band Köppernjugend zusammen.

Ursprünglich war es ein Soloprojekt vom Sänger und Gitarrist Andi, in dem er seine eigenen Texte und Melodien komponierte. Daraus entstand eine gemeinschaftliche Band. Der Einfluss von allen dreien, lässt das Trio neue musikalische Wege gehen. Zurzeit ist die Band bei AMPIRE RECORDS.

As odd as it may seem, since moving out East I have been feeling slightly nostalgic for the wet West coast weather. I do really miss the rain sometimes. Anyways I got these awesome gumboots…or rainboots whichever you prefer to call them from the lovely Emma Glimour of Surf Couture the other day and had to do a rainy day post. Ok so it probably looks more like a spring showers post than an autumn rain but whatever! Ignore that. Anyways, go pick up some rainboots! It may require a little moding for guys but it’s well worth it, trust me!

Then this is the part where I found company and I said to them, “hello company, want to take a picture with me?” Shane and I were both sneakily looking at Sephia’s jacket and were pleased we didn’t have to right click, inspect her. I found something I’ve never worn before ever and I was all, “WHAT!!!!!!!!!!” because this jacket is cute, ready for fall, and I don’t remember buying it. Don’t you love when that happens? It’s like Christmas in your inventory when you find things you don’t remember buying. And after five hours of trying to take three pictures with my company, this is what we came up with!

I’ve started taking my meds again, seems I forget to on the weekends sometimes. I feel so much better now! The tears, anger, pain and rash decisions have stopped. I bailed on last night’s lesson, the temptation  would have been too hard to refuse… I want to take a vow of celibacy. Which will be hard considering how much I enjoy passion, But perhaps I will wait till I find someone worth it, decent, and special.

I submitted 21 applications over the night, for positions around the world. For one company, doing what I love. The next week will be held in anticipation. Of course I will remain distracted upon my arrival in Sydney this coming Friday. The drinks are waiting, the men are waiting, the clubs are waiting,  My family is waiting, to partying, catch up, fall in love with Sydney, to tempt me to move there. My cousin is 19yrs old. Party girls run in the family. She is organising my entire trip. Including picking me up from the airport on Friday. I’m not sure how long I will be there actually. I need to make it up to the Gold Coast by the end of the month, I’m hitchhiking up the coast, I want to spend a night in Newscastle, because I can.

In QLD, apart from the family, I am watching the Indi Races from a high rise apartment with a girlfriend who lives with a rotating average of 5 hot guys. She has booked me a bed, although it will most likely be shared

Drink. Drank.Drunk. Clubbing. For the first time in my life, I can go on holidays not only alone, but without the hassle of having to check back in with anyone, feel guilt and shy away from the world. Welcome back Life, I’ve been waiting for you. Do me good and fun, and I will appreciate you even more.

PS:  I would like to see D today. But I need to catchup on sleep. Perhaps a phone call will suffice.

Okay, mettons les choses au clair!
Si j’écris pas beaucoup ces derniers temps, ce n’est vraiment pas parce que je me pogne le beigne. En fait, j’en suis à refaire mon site web de A à Z puisqu’il ne correspond vraiment plus à ce que je fais maintenant. Autrefois plus orienté presse, j’ai ouvert les yeux et décidé de mettre du pain sur la table.(sens propre du terme) Comme la situation actuelle et la conjoncture économique n’est pas favorable à bla bla bla bla, les journaux sont en train de mourrir, j’ai décidé d’élargir un peu mon champs de compétences!

Revenons à nos veaux, j’en suis donc à refaire mon site web pour vous présentez mon travail des 6 derniers mois. Nouveaux portraits, beaucoup de promo/pochette de band/un peu de mode/ Malaise profond(mon projet personnel de 2009) qu’à peu près personne n’a vu.

Et comme je suis quelqu’un de romantique, au sens propre du terme, j’aime beaucoup les surprises pis toute pis toute. Je vous réserve donc la surprise de mon travail le plus récent pour quelque part à la mi-novembre. Mon programmeur, ami, Jean-Maxime Couillard, est parti en Chine attraper la H1N1 donc je l’attend sagement! J’attends de sortir un peu tout en même temps avec la formule www.raphaelouellet.ca 2.0. On verra ben ce que ça donne.

Pour aujourd’hui, je me contredis question de vous présenter une photo que j’ai fait hier d’un band de Winnipeg en visite pour POP Mourial nommé Boats. Ceci n’est qu’une photo agace en attendant de vous montrer le vrai résultat.

Volgens de folder scoren de zenders van eigen bodem erg goed. Sommigen worden dan ook meer bekeken dan anderen. Zowel via de gewone kabel als met Telenet Digital TV en INDI komen daar nog eens drie nieuwe op Vlaanderen gerichte zenders bij: vtmKzoe, EXQ!PLUS en Discovery Channel.  Buitenlandse zenders als Mediaset Italia Netword, ProSieben, Sat 1, WDR, RTL Television en TRT krijgen ook een plaats in het digitale basisaanbod.

“Om deze verbeteringen te kunnen doorvoeren, verschuiven enkele minder bekeken analoge zenders naar het digitale aanbod. Daarnaast krijgen sommige zenders een nieuwe frequentie“, aldus nog de folder.

In de enveloppe zit er ook een aangepaste gebruiksaanwijzing om de nieuwe zenders op je televisietoestel te zetten.
