Alright so I have been watching a lot of films this holiday week. No job and No kids leads to some free time to spend watching some exciting new flicks!

Now I love to recommend films to friends and family since I tend to look for movies outside the norm. Things you wouldn’t normally see and things most people would prefer not to watch. Samantha surprised me by getting us something like 8 movies from netflix for the holiday week! We just finished watching a film called Deadgirl!

I had no idea what I was getting myself into. This movie pretty much blew my mind. Just reading the back of the netflix sleeve sort of freaked me out. I wasn’t sure if I was going to put it in or not but Bruno was so horrible that I couldn’t watch it any longer and Deadgirl got a chance to shine. Now this movie is only for the BRAVE!! The very, very, very BRAVE!!!!! This isn’t really a sit down and watch with your new girlfriend type of movie. It is a little more like sit down and watch with your creepy insane wife who likes sick stuff! Get KRUNK and rent this film!!!!!!!!!

I haven’t posted all week because I wanted to wait until I had something to post about.  Today I got my last libram.  Now all I have to do is farm the mats for each book.  Based on the librams I have, I need the following:

Stitchings: 41
Skin of Shadow: 32
Blood of Heroes: 36

I am glad I got the librams first.  How dumb would I have felt if I had farmed 41 Skins and only 32 Stitching.  This lets me know exactly how many of each I need.  The diamonds, however, are going to be the hard part.  Right now on my server they are about 400g each on the auction house, so it looks like I will be farming them myself.

Here is my current plan:

Do Scholomance until I reach the instance cap for the hour then go search WPL for Blood of Heroes.  Do this until I have all the skins I need.
Do Stratholme until I reach the instance cap for the hour then go search EPL for Blood of Heroes.  Do this until I have all the Stitchings I need.
Pray that I have enough Blood of Heroes at this point.

All things considered, I am a little over halfway done with Shen’dralar.  I am also pleasantly surprised at how far along my goblin rep is.  I went through

0/36000 hated
0/3000 hostile
0/3000 unfriendly
0/3000 neutral
and now I am into friendly. This means I can visit goblin towns again. And by my calculations:
Hated = 36000
Hostile = 3000
Unfriendly = 3000
Neutral = 3000
=45000
Friendly = 6000
Honored = 12000
Revered = 21000
=39000

It looks like I have done more goblin rep than I have left, so I am over half way done with goblins.

I’m going to switch my hearthstone location to Light’s Hope Chapel now and start farming libram mats. After I am finally done with that, I am going to test the DM vs Pirate debate for goblin rep.

I am not an achievement crazed player.  I pick them up when I can, some are more motivating than others.    As of this writing I am sitting at 280/986.   The majority are sitting in the Raid/Dungeon.   I have 6 Feats of Strength.    I’m not an Ambassador.  Not a Pilgrim.   And I’m fine with that.

But /salute to the TW player that pulled it off.   Insane as they are.

For a man who was going to be betrayed, the kind of things Jesus did at the end seemed insane. Entering on a donkey and getting praise from the lips of common folk certainly did not sit well with those in authority there. Adding insult to injury was when Jesus entered the temple courts and threw all the sellers out and overturned the tables of the money changers. These were people who managed to work their way into the temple courts through befriending the Pharisees and they charged exorbitant rates for sacrifices and money changing because they had exclusive dominion in that place and worshippers had no choice but to buy from them. Worse than all of this was that Jesus sat and taught the people who came into the temple courts about what God wanted for their lives and this shook the very foundation of the faith at that time.

It is clear from the passage above that Jesus was not going to be ‘Shooed’ away and if these temple priests wanted him out, they would have to come up with something more than accusations. The only option they had then was to make falsified charges and take his life which was certainly what Jesus came for. He came to die for sinners and to give us hope of eternity with him through his resurrection. Are you willing to put your trust in Jesus who fought the world to clarify the truth to save us? Are you willing to stand up against the powers of this world and evil to proclaim his name above every other name? Lets not be caught sleeping when he come again. Lets rise us and share the gospel with the lost sheep and help them find their shepherd, Jesus Christ.

I’m done with pretending that I’m an adult. I’m not, okay? So get over it and leave me alone. I’m struggling to get into a college that I know I’m not prepared for in a competitive world that’s waiting with eager, dripping jaws to eat me alive. I’m not ready.

I’m through sitting back and letting my hundreds of responsibilities run amok over me. It’s partially my fault through disorganization, partially my fault through neglect. I’m doing so much I can’t focus on the important things. If something doesn’t go, I will. I’ll go insane. So I’m through being trampled by my own many loves and passions, and I’m through being choked and hung by the dramas of my friends and school life. I’ve got to distance myself from it, before it gets me. If I don’t focus, and work my ass off on the thing that is most important, I won’t get anywhere. Ever.

I think Twilight fans are a bit much. I’m not against them– I’ve read all the books and seen the movies. I do see why they like it, but I think the obsession can get a little extreme.

I thought they were creepy but never THIS creepy. A girl watching New Moon in Michigan was actually bitten this weekend while watching New Moon. It wasn’t a sexy nibble gone wrong or a hungry moviegoer who mistook her for a snack but a 45 year old pervert sitting in the seat behind her.

He didn’t break the skin, and he hasn’t been caught yet. I assume she’ll be too creeped out to go to the movies anytime soon. I’m sure I would be too (after being disinfected, sanitized and had my tetanus shot)

Though it might seem that most of the girls are into vampires with the Twilight, True Blood and Vampire Diaries craze I hope biting doesn’t become the new pick up line. Unless you’re Robert Pattison  and she has a Twilight tattoo, I’m pretty sure it won’t work.
