holler to the ladies !!

kalian sehat?

yes, i have finally finished with body2body : a malaysian queer anthology

mateila tajuk sengaja diletakkan sedikit berghairah

AMBOI !

body2body , i reckon, is the first ever recorded in writing a compilation of LGBT stories in Malaysia.

bravo MATAHARI BOOKS.

most of all, to each and every staunch and determined authors who had manage to get their stories printed and compiled in this book and to those who did hand in their creative writing but were not lucky enough to get their work printed.

nevertheless, we surely must applaud bold move such this.

it has been the most anticipated book.

at any rate, reading this book is worth every penny and time u spent.

it sure does illuminate the breadth and varieties of LGBT experiences , expect for one very technical essay that i totally utterly disengaged while reading. mateila daku berterus terang

mungkin tak tercapai kot akal i. seperti membaca tesis begitu, siap ada citations.

of course, to my personal discontent , i wish for more malay lesbian authors to come forward and contribute.

to be honest i desire for more insights from the malay lesbian perspectives and hence the urge.

jangan fikir bukan bukan ye, although majority of the authors are non muslims, i have nothing against the idea pun. the truth is, ai nak rasa lebih ‘connected’ dan agak teruja akan pengalaman muslims LGBT, particularly lesbian lah ye.

insofar i have come to engaged in a few bloggers’ writings whose insights and point of views shall benefit the lgbt community at large, especially lgbt muslims

kepada kalian yang berbakat dalam penulisan tu, ai encourage u personally, to share your views and stories demi untuk kebaikan kita bersama. apa salahnya berkongsi cerita dan pengalaman.

indeed i can never be too sure but the issues and experiences of a malay LGBT might differ completely from a non malay, in terms of our belief and culture

although the very basis for the experiences may clash.

this is the right time to do so.

ai particularly fond of shanon shah’s essay – muslim 2 muslim. i feel like i can relate so much to his stories, not that the others are non-relatable . but being a muslim myself, the emphasis on belief and self-conflicting views between Islamic teaching and sexuality though mind-boggling, really is intriguing .

hanya rm34 je. murs murs sudah

you can purchase it online which would cost u a lot more for the delivery charge ataupun ke kinokuniya KLCC . 2 tempat ni je kamu boleh dapatkan buku ni

MPH takde jual. do not bother asking pun.

nah, cepat dapat kan !!!

signing off ya’ll ,

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has announced some measures to strongly intervene in the local monetary market. Accordingly, the bank will increase the basic interest rate and adjust the exchange rate. Economists say this is an essential step to stabilise the current economic situation.

The SBV decided to increase the basic interest rate from 7 to 8 percent and allow commercial banks to offer an interest rate of 11 percent to mobilise capital, while ensuring their lending ability and liquidity.

Pressure on Vietnamese Dong (VND)

The Standard Chartered Bank reports that the increase in the basic interest rate is a good signal for the VND, but there are still some negative movements in the monetary flow. The balance of payment in the short term may continue to put pressure on the exchange rate between the VND and USD as the foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows are on the decline. Moreover, overseas remittance cannot help settle the country’s trade deficit.

Tai Hui, head of the Standard Chartered Bank’s Asian research department, says that there are two factors that put pressure on the devaluation of the VND. First, the increase in the price of gold makes local investors pay more attention to gold than the Vietnamese currency. Second, the trade deficit may reach more than US$2 billion a month. Although this level is lower than in the first half of 2008 (about US$2.5-3 billion), it has raised great concern about the balance of payment, especially when FDI and overseas remittances are forecast to increase slightly.

The SBV’s decision to limit the range of the exchange rate has reduced the gap between the bank’s officially-listed rate and the “black market” rate.

According to Tai Hui, the VND-USD exchange rate will stand at around VND18,500/USD by the end of 2009 and then increase to VND18,600/USD by the end of the first quarter of 2010, VND18,800/USD by the end of the second quarter, VND18,900/USD by the end of the third quarter and VND19,000/USD by the end of 2010.

Regarding the increase in interest rates, Tai Hui says it is the beginning of a new trend to raise the interest rate. “Currently we predict that the basic interest rate will surge to 10 percent by the fourth quarter of 2010, higher than our previous prediction of 9 percent. This may lead to an increase in the lending interest rate to around 15 percent,” he adds.

Initial step to tighten monetary policy

Looking back at previous monetary policy, Vietnam raised the basic interest rate to a rather high level of 14 percent and then had to reduce it. In April 2009, the basic interest rate stood at 7 percent and interest rebate at 5 percent and these rates were maintained for a relatively long time.

According to Dr. Vu Dinh Anh, deputy head of the Ministry of Finance’s Price and Market Research Institute, this was a measure to gradually tighten control of monetary policy. As a result, credit rose 33 percent in October and 34 percent in November. It might even reach 40 percent by the end of this year if things are still under control.

More important still, some economic argue credit growth is often faster than the rate of mobilising deposits. Now Vietnam caps the credit interest rate at 150 percent above the basic interest rate to help banks raise the amount of deposits. The increase is a step towards reducing the risk of high inflation, which is expected to return in 2010.

However, Mr. Anh worries that in the future, banks will be confronted with the possibility of some businesses borrowing capital with interest rate subsidies but failing to repay the debts. Then the ratio of bad debts to total credit will continue to climb up.

To solve this issue, Mr. Anh says banks must push up the collection of debts and increase the scale of credit. Banks must also coordinate with appropriate authorities to deal with the imbalance of foreign currency, especially in the real estate and securities sectors.

Because of the recent rise in the value of the US dollar and gold prices, the increase of the basic interest rate is significant for improving the value of domestic currency and limiting the rise of exchange rates, which can negatively impact the macro economy. As foreign currency earners such as exports or overseas remittances show little signs of improving compared to 2008, controlling the supply of Vietnamese cash by higher interest rates is a tool to ensure a stable exchange rate.

Huhuhu…sedih ooo…my digital camera lost and i dont know whether I lost it at the college or somewhere else…well maybe there is a “hikmah sebalik kejadian” looking at the bright side, considering DSLR camera…not an expert in this area but really really interested to learn more…now looking at this model Canon EOS 450D / Digital Rebel XSi

How do i stumble on this model, well the answer is here, hehehe with some googling…let see some of the pictures from the web on the rebel (I love the name “Rebel” huahuahua)

Front view

Rear view

Top view

I have gone through the review and dont understand all the jargon used in that review (ha ha ha…) really appreciate if someone can translate to me the review into something that DSLR illiterate can easily understand…I want to freeze the moments and frame it not only in my mind(frame that easily lost hahahahhaa) but also to share it with my children and my children’s children and …the lists continue.

Its been almost 3 weeks already since i lost my camera and its frustrating seeing the moment just pass by…huhuhuhu…

Iffah and Qistina are playing together, laughing and having a lot fun and of course ummi and papa also smiling melihat perangai satu-satu orang…iffah and qistina…

Ummi: Haiii…abang …bole sengih-sengih je lah tengok dorang…(Fuhhh…pedas giler sindiran itu)
papa: Hmmm(buat muka rasa bersalah ngan kecewa …pastu merajuk…hehehe)

now the delimma is between time & quality…if i want to capture the moment as soon as possible, meaning just get any Digital camera that within my immediate budget…but if i want to capture a quality and I myself will passionately capture every moments then i have to sacrifice the moments passing until i can get my hand on the Rebel…

Third option would be buy any camera now and just bear it until the time come for the Rebel…yup! maybe i’ll go with that one…the moments are too precious to sacrifice…well start googling now for other digital camera…for now let the Rebel be my dream every nite…good nite

She was just writing about her being on the cover of “Pia”. Not knowing what it was (we have a “Macau Pia” magazine here) I casually posted a comment asking what it was.

What do you know, in her following post, she explained it’s a Japanese magazine on upcoming concerts, movies, shows, ticketing info, etc… I checked back the previous post, and I think I was the only one that asked that question.

heh, she does read the comments.

Angela Aki’s “Black Glasses” is such a cute song. All that reference to Oz, the Tin Man, the Lion and all that. I don’t think I heard any mentions of Scarecrows and Toto or Red Shoes though :3

oh well, time for bed~~

Throughout numerous online mediums, an individual has the power to communicate to an unseen audience

Throughout numerous online mediums, an individual has the power to communicate to an unseen audience from the privacy and sanctuary of their bedrooms. In doing so, they are revealing themselves in a way that has never before been done. With the aid of youtube and webcams, an individual is able to share parts of themselves that they might not normally think of. They are able to convey messages that grow and inspire other individuals in a novel and powerful way. This form of communication is a type of collaboration that can occur over a wide period of time and space. There is no limit to who will see your post/video, but the point is that it is out there for people to see, share, and experience. By creating these videos, people are uniting and receiving comfort from other people, which they do not know, because they have gone through or felt the same way at some point. They are the extra boost that helps you get through a stressful day at work or the death of a loved one or just a difficult time. Webcams allow you to change your personality, they are a form of self awareness and discovery and reflection. An individual is able to experiment with their own understandings of their self. They can tweak their identities and feel things differently so that they can better understand themselves.

Individuals are able to break down boundaries within themselves as well as with those around them. People can express strong values in a silent way; they are showing ways of accepting yourself as well as other people. There is a video on youtube with a man carrying a sign labeled with: “free hugs;” at first the crowd does not take to it, but gradually they start to give the man hugs. Eventually other people from all over the world start using their own “free hugs” sign and they are able to connect with complete strangers on a very elemental level. Another youtube video poster goes by the name of MadV, he wears the mask from the movie V for Vendetta so he can remain anonymous, and he has trademarked palm messages. These hand messages depict strong values that may at times be forgotten, desired, taken for granted, or needed. Some examples are: love yourself, smile to strangers, be kind, forgive and forget, united, and one world, etc. These messages are definitely breaking down boundaries in novel ways by non-verbalizing vital values that are needed today. This is interesting because these values are felt or thought about in this powerful way, but they are not necessarily spoken about.

Chances are when said and done
Who’ll be the lucky ones
Who make it all the way?
Though you say I could be your answer
Nothing lasts forever
No matter how it feels today

Chances are we´ll find a new equation
Chances roll away from me
Chances are all they hope to be

Don’t get me wrong I’d never say never
Cause though love can change the weather
No act of God can pull me away from you

I´m just a realistic man
A bottle filled with shells and sand
Afraid to love beyond what I can lose when it comes to you
And though I see us through yeah

Chances are we´ll find two destinations
Chances roll away from me
Still chances are more than expectations
The possibilities

Over me
It´s about the two to one
Lay your money on the ground
until you crash what have you done?
Is there a better bet than love?
What you are is what you breathe
You gotta cry before you sing

Chances, chances

Chances lost are hopes torn up pages
Maybe this time
Chances are we´ll be the combination
Chances come and carry me
Chances are waiting to be taken
And I can see
Chances are the fascination
Chances won’t escape from me
Chances are only what we make them
And all I need

A chance is all I need. Will you give that chance to me?

Today was a good day because:

1. I got a sunflower! I love sunflowers, it’s my favourite flower!

2. I got TOMS- the arch support. Ughhh to die for, although the white Jack Purcells put up a good fight.

3. I went out for the FIRST TIME in days. Life 1, Home infinite.

4. Took good pictures, and took in the Xmas lights at Orchard Road, including the pwning Christmas Tree at Ion. One of those pictures was captured by accident, just as fallchildren was blowing out his smoke, it came into the lens of my camera, and snap! A moment was captured. I think it looked pretty cool.

5. Mustafa was interesting & offer many, many things. There, we found a pair of pants for about $30 to match a blazer we got from the Salvation Army (after searching Chinatown and Town itself). Together, they make a suit!

6. Gained stylespiration from the Sartorialist’s book, which I am too cheap to buy (sorry, poor student, limited cash flow). I now feel inspired to get down to altering my red thrifted gown! If you have the cash (or would like to buy me a present), do pick up a copy!

7. I am drinking Grape-flavoured Yakult! Yakult is awesome & good for your digestion.

Often when I go through the Sartorialist’s shots, I skim through them. Just getting the overall feel of each outfit to decide if I like them or not.

Today was a little different. A reminder that sometimes the details of each outfit are what makes it.

The way the shirt scrunches, the girl’s gorgeous bone structure, hair & eyes, a shirt turned into a skirt (how genius!), the unexpectedness of a Chuck-wearing senior, the cute little bow-tie or tie thrown into the pants-suit (for women)!

In search of a good tie to pair with my suits!

Bad things:

1. Mole factory explosion still needs a clean up. -.- I hid my face behind my vintage sunglasses (which I re-found, so there is a ‘yay!’ in that) for the day, though they came off at night cause I thought it was just too retarded to wear sunglasses at night.

2. My bank account is creeping dangerously close to the cliff…especially as I want to say “Hello sexy” to Muse at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

3. I don’t think I like ‘Women In Love’ very much. While it features good writing and thoughtful content at points, a lot of it thus far feels a little too overwrought. Perhaps I am mentally unable to connect with their strange romance style… Time will tell, if my feelings about the book will change or remain the same.

http://www.bnn.ca/news/14092.html

According to a BNN story, David Dodge (the former governor of the Bank of Canada) suspects that the bank rate could remain at its ridiculously low rate until 2015. We can only hope that he’s eased into his retirement like so many other blubbering, out of touch geriatrics who have ideas about all of the world’s problems, and none of them coherent. 2015???

We’re approaching a dangerous bubble as it is, with impulsive spenders over-extending themselves on cheap credit like the newly re-skinny Kirstie Alley at a buffet line, seemingly unaware that the very thing they’re stuffing their faces with is what got us into the mess we were in last year.

Clearly, the free market must be allowed to dictate rates in order to work the magic that is capitalism. When supply is high (0.25% bank rate), people will take advantage of the cheap prices. Unfortunately, unlike most commodities, when prices eventually rise we cannot simply put the credit card away. We are stuck with the commitments that we made at the cheap levels, except now the price tag is much higher.

2015??? Seriously?

As I’m sure you can see, I’m blown away that anyone might suggest a five year policy on extravagantly cheap money unless its preceeded by: “That recession was fantastic, let’s have aonther one! What’s the quickest way to make sure it happens?”

Dear current BoC Governor Mark Carney,

I know that you spend most of your time scanning students’ blogs for advice about how to run our country’s national bank, so here goes: Tell Dodge to take a nap. He’s a sweet old man, but the world already has a Grandpa Simpson, and we’re pretty tired of him anyways. It may sound odd, but please charge me more for my money. I’d rather higher rates for everyone than a second recession where we have already used up all of the weapons in our arsenal and are forced to ride out the storm until the inevitable hyper-inflation kicks in.

Thanks so much,

Stoked

My guess is that those trained in Iraq (and are planting IED’s in Afghanistan) are applying their knowledge in Afghanistan, but without co-opting the US military in their effort. They are planting the IED’s and swarming the US forces as a tactic to win, instead of continuing the status quo, as was the strategy of the insurgency in Iraq.

via The Image. (Post has not been made public yet.)

Obama told reporters that his strategy will be revealed after Thanksgiving holiday. If this strategy has not been explained yet, I think it will be a strategy similar to the Taliban’s; it will be a strategy to win. It will be a strategy to defeat the Taliban, instead of co-opting it with a fight against AQ and drones. If it is not a strategy to win, then Obama does not understand the strategy of the enemy of his war, or war has only been explained in political terms.

If his strategy is one of winning, the strategy will have a heavy component of cooperation with Afghanistan’s neighbors, specifically India, but possibly Iran as well. My analysis may be just an image I picked-up after reading comments and postings on the internet, or the image of his talks with the Prime Minister of India, that I watched on TV.

There could also be a China component, from China’s interest in Afghanistan as a conduit for oil to the India Ocean, because to win you don’t try to balance the force, but overwhelm the forces.

It is strange, then, that people do not think negotiations in conversation with the home loan lender

It is strange, then, that people do not think negotiations in conversation with the home loan lender in the same way they would do with a real estate agent to.

Although the interest rate is not the only aspect that should be a house on credit, which can be negotiated and it is likely to negotiate the most difficult variable to be by negotiation with the lender the interest rate and try to reduce it to one or two points if possible to save much money on interests in the longrun.

Note that home loans are usually the repayment programs of at least twenty years and therefore, since it means large amounts, a single point lead on the interest rate, thousands and thousands of dollars.

Negotiation Techniques

One of the best negotiating skills when buying anything is simply that you can not afford or that they are simply too expensive. The lender will, if possible, try to keep your business, if he can make evenMoney from the transaction and thus, it is probably a better deal.
The only problem with this technique is that the lender They offer a comprehensive program that will include the repayment of lower monthly payments, but would be unlikely with the same interest rate and therefore higher costs in terms of interests by the longer maturities program.

Another method is to reply with a counter offer from another lender. You really do not need to provide a written copyThe offer provided that it is reasonable, so you also could make it. Tell the lender that another lender has offered you half a point less for the same amount and other loan conditions.

The chances are good that the lender wants to improve its offer to retain you as a customer. He may also have other benefits, please do not hesitate to take them but to insist on a reduction of the rate for what he has given you now, he can not withdraw.

As a lastPlace, a threat to the lender, take their business elsewhere. This rule will have at least a final offer from the lender. It may or may not be to your advantage, but he will be best to make you beg to differ.

Can save Remember that the only variable to negotiate the interest rate on the loan and you can also add other conditions, which may in turn be useful, interesting, and money.

Further negotiations

Even if your current credit crisis will not Do not letYou negotiate with the lenders as much, close to the best possible deal. And if your credit score improves, you can re-negotiate with the same or another lender by refinancing. Also, remember that in addition the interest rate grace periods, longer repayment term programs, rescheduling of payment dates and many other changes to loan terms that you can benefit request.

Etsy is a great site to find unique handmade items. Whether you’re looking to buy a present for your friend, grandma or just for yourself, Etsy has something for everyone. This site is created for anyone that wants to make a living out of making handmade goods. Buyers and sellers are all connected on this site and we at Blue Blood picked out a few things that we really like.

One maker decided it was time their plum tree needed trimming. The wood was used to create eco green candle holders. We at Blue Blood have always loved wood, this can specially be seen within our stores. Wooden floors are key at Blue Blood.

We also really liked the wooden buttons this maker created.

Another interesting product is created out of a blend of vanilla, cinnamon, orange and the liquor Southern Comfort. This piece of soap is definitely aimed at those tough men out there that enjoy the strong scent of Southern Comfort while using this so called “All Liquored up soap”.

Ellen Lohse graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and then went on to design books. She now sells her fantastic work on Etsy too. We have posted her work on The Darjeeling Limited before if you can remember?
And finally what a hilarious way to start the new year with this great printable calendar from Keep Calm and Carry Spoof 2010. For only $5,00 you get the pdf sent to your email and you will be able to print this super funny calendar a million times if you like. Why not start January 2010 with a calendar that tell you to make a resolution and then to break it straight away!

A National Nightmare, Indeed

By David Limbaugh
November 24, 2009

In a Democratic fundraising speech in Iowa over the weekend, Vice President Joe Biden told party loyalists that opponents of the Obama administration’s agenda “should be worried about us, for we are their worst nightmare.” Duh.

Finally we can agree on something, Joe. Even the liberal New York Times reports that at the current level of federal spending, the annual interest on the national debt will exceed $700 billion by 2019 — compared with $202 billion this year. Some forecasters predict it will be much higher. This additional half-trillion dollars a year in interest is more than our current combined expenditures on education, energy, homeland security and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Oh, and the Times isn’t even factoring in the cap-and-trade nightmare you and Barack have in store for us, Joe — you know, that urgent legislation to catapult the nation back into Third World status based on hysteria generated by fraudulent science and corrupt zealots and politicians.

Nor is the Times including in its calculations the additional debt that would result from Obamacare.

Joe, when The New York Times is sounding the warnings over the exploding national debt, you and Barack insist not only on not reversing your disastrous course but also on making it worse. How can reasonable people assume anything other than that you are trying to run this nation into the ground financially?

Don’t dare keep telling us your hyper-ambitious spending is a necessary evil required to deliver us from a financial crisis you inherited. Whatever crisis we face is debt-related, purely and simply. Everything else is manageable. Yet you all are deliberately increasing our indebtedness as far as the eye can see, without the slightest pretense of scaling back in this millennium. In fact, you are laboring to establish further entitlements and institutional changes that would generate exponential burdens on our debt and would be enormously difficult for any responsible and financially sane successor to undo, much less reverse.

Adding insult to injury, you are spending this money not to improve (“stimulate”) the economy — which even the most politically and economically illiterate should now realize — but to restructure American society, dismantle our free enterprise system and impose in its place a command-control economy and political system — in which life’s decisions, including over our private health care, are dictated from Washington.

But while you and Barack are hoisting your wrecking ball, could you please spare us the pseudo-sanctimony and transparent populism in telling us that it will take “grit and determination” to outlast the “special interests” on Wall Street and the insurance industry to pass your destructive agenda?

You both know better. When you have to bribe Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., with a larcenous $300 million addition to your Senate bill (I know, you’re pretending it’s just Harry Reid’s bill) that’s specifically earmarked just for her state — at the expense of the rest of the states and the national interest — something smells to high heaven. You could at least have the decency to admit this provision to raise the bill’s cost by increasing Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster” is not even motivated to help Louisiana, but to buy Landrieu’s vote. And you want to talk to us, Joe, about the corruption of special interests?

Special interests, Joe? Is that how you describe 56 percent of the American people, who now oppose Obama’s plan? And that’s without even knowing the half of it. Or maybe you would describe them as dangerous protesters or domestic terrorists?

But, Joe, I do applaud you for your candor in telling your fawning supporters, “I can tell you with absolute certainty: (Barack’s) resolve has never waivered for one instant.”

Bull’s-eye, Joe. You and Barack believe you know better than the American people what is good for them, and you only care what they think to the extent that it makes your job more difficult when they oppose you.

But if you told the truth about your plan — that it would cost dramatically more than you pretend (especially considering that the benefits wouldn’t begin to be paid until 2014 and that taxes would increase almost immediately); that the public option would subsume private care; that the federal government would ration care; that medical choice would be drastically reduced; that you are still trying to secure federal funding for abortion; that you intend to cover currently illegal immigrants; that after all your hype about promoting this bill to achieve universal coverage, millions would remain uninsured and penalized, to boot; that medical quality would be seriously reduced; and that overall costs would increase — your support for the bill would be in the single digits.

So keep chanting it, Joe; you are indeed a national nightmare.

Call me a skeptic, but there seem to be inherent problems with the way we process information in our courts. I pose the following independent scenarios for your consideration.

We rush to judgement in order to assign reasons to what happens. If we can assign blame promptly, then we can create the illusion that we and our loved ones are safe once the source of the blame has been identified and removed. If you doubt this, watch the respect that is automatically given to a police witness’ testimony in District Court.

When a witness testifies, he can be cross-examined to show that he has a bias or an interest in the subject of his testimony. Incredibly, police witnesses are given the benefit of the doubt by disregarding their inherent interest in cases where they made the arrest. Do they not benefit just as a salesman benefits when he makes his quota of sales?

When an arresting officer testifies that a driver arrested for a DUI performed poorly on field sobriety tests, or that a driver admitted he had so many drinks before driving, or that he drove within minutes of drinking — why should the officer be believed in the absence of some form of externally verifiable corroboration?

Generally, a motorist who is stopped by an officer has a right to refuse to take any field sobriety tests. An officer is not required to tell the driver that he has this right of refusal. Yet, we consider the driver’s participation in such tests voluntary and freely made. this practice simply fosters distrust between citizens and the police.

I thought it would be appropriate to share on Thanksgiving what I am thankful for. I have to admitt

I thought it would be appropriate to share on Thanksgiving what I am thankful for. I have to admitt that every year in the past I could never pinpoint what I was thankful for. This year it is very clear to me. Over the years as I managed businesses and put money away for retirement and lifestyle expenses I thought I actually was doing everything right and that everyone else knew as much as I Knew. It turns out that I may have known the tricks of money but a very small group of people knew it as well.

What I am talking about is that how money works is a mystery to most. It turns out that we all fell into the trap of believing the media and all the hype and commercials about the stock market and how it always goes up. It is true that the market has historically always trended up. It is very untrue that the market always goes up. It is all relative to where you are in your life or time to retirement. If you are 25 and have 30 years to retirement a down market is not so bad, you may recover. If you are 35 and there is a downturn you still have a chance to recover. If you are 45 and older and the market did what it did in 2008 there is a good chance you will not recover. even if you could in 20 years come back to where you were in the beginning of 2008 with your investments the rate of inflation will have eroded your money and in real purchasing power you would not be recovered.

So, getting back to what I am thankful for… I am thankful for knowing that there are ways to put money away, have it grow competitively, have no risk, have access to it, have control over it, and never worry about what the market is doing. I am thankful that my family will have access to their money when and where they need it virtually tax free for ever.

Eric Chueng and Sean Martindale are the implementers of the project Poster Pocket Planting. They fill the city streets of Toronto with more green scenery. What they do is they create “pots” in existing poster walls, they then fill these up with soil and place a plant within it. The poster pocket planters hope that this form of creating green wall systems will encourage other activists to start this method in other cities. It has already been picked up in Brooklyn. Due to the cold weather Eric and Sean have stopped planting new plants into poster pockets. Instead they actually saved some greens that they had put out on Harbord to save them from the frost. These little plants have been carefully brought inside. We love what they do and who knows maybe the streets of Berlin, New York and Amsterdam will look much greener soon. Lets hope so.

Anyway I’ve got (I think!) most of the Beta version of Office working and I’ll leave that be for now. Having used Sky+ to watch NCIS Los Angeles – I’m now watching the Celebration of The Carpenters that was ITV a couple of weeks ago. I’ve always liked the Carpenters, ever since I was small. I can imagine some of the comments coming my way , , but I don’t really care. The songs where “gentle”, meaningful, soulful. It’s just a shame what happened to Karen – I suppose some people where never really made for fame. It’s sad to see how show business can end up destroying good people.

berhubung belanjaan cukup banyak,
saya naek beca ah pulangnya… perlu bukti?
coba perhatikan wajah bingung dalam beca ini

tadinya sih naek beca pengen sekalian juga foto-foto objek berjalan, tapi ternyata hasilnya gak jelas gara-gara kelamaan setting menu

beca pun pergi

#compliments buat mang beca yang gak banyak tanya selama perjalanan walaupun beberapa kali kepergok narsis foto-foto sendiri

sampe rumah gak kerasa udah jam 5, hmm nyoba masak apa dulu ya? akhirnya ikan bawal jadi korban praktek masak pertama… dan percayalah gambar di bawah ini adalah hasilnya

Bawal Berdarah

(original recipe : Restu Utami Dewi)

BAHAN :
1 ikan bawal putih yang udah digoreng kering

SAMBAL COBEK :
4 buah cabe merah, 2 buah cabe kriting, cengek (rawit) sesuai selera
3 cm jahe, 2 buah cikur, 2 buah kemiri

semua bahan goreng pake minyak sedikit

ulek bahan bumbu sampe halus kasih garam dan gula pasir (tergantung selera)

siram air panas kira-kira seperempat gelas

masukan ikan yang udah digoreng dan penyet-penyet sedikit

note : bawal berdarah mengalami sedikit modifikasi, karena salah baca resep, jadi malah diulek dulu baru digoreng bumbunya haha tapi yang penting enak
