Last weekend, I had the opportunity to 6 other girls on a birthday
trip to Bowen Island. I know the birthday girl, but the rest.. not so much.

It was A LOT of fun. we relaxed in their insane waterfront house, enjoyed delicious
food, and played games.

The weekend sadly came to an end, and we drove to the ferry to get in line.
There was about a 20 minute wait.. so we parked the car and chilled out.

Immediately, every girl in my car pulled out her iPhone. One girl had a blackberry.. but thats similar.

They played games.. facebooked.. texted.. chatted..it all looked.. quite fun.

now here i am..with my LG Rumor.. no iPhone(even though I am a web developer and I’m supposed to have these sort of things) in this car with 4 girls that i dont really know that well. Normally, i would be like..
“GET OFF YOUR PHONES YOU PUNKS and talk to me!!” but.. that would kind of be awkward.

so i just sat there.

*twiddles thumbs*

*looks around*

*whistles*

*siiigggggggghhh*

its not like I can. draw pictures on the window.. or write..read. cause we are all squished in this tiny
car and I am in the middle!!

I hate iPhone users. we cannot even talk to each other!!!

Now, i must recognize in this rant, that even though i hate iPhone users, i STILL want to be one.

However, I would not neglect conversation in favor of that little gadget no matter how tempting it may be!

there are real people out there you know.. with mouths and stuff.

*end rant*

TunePro n’a rien d’autre à vendre.

Many Canadians can see clearly that Rogers, Bell, Videotron, Shaw, Telus they all only care about one thing.. maximum profits.. motivated by maximum greed.. AND ARE OFTEN GUILTY OF FALSE MISLEADING ADVERTISING AS WELL., they also too often are mostly finding an excuse to charge the customer even for more.. and yes that they have done with firstly their lies, distortions … sadly also each Corporation tends to copy the other’s bad business practices it seems and no one cares about integrity or the citizens, consumer, the CRTC or the governments now included.

Bell or Bell Bell Mobility Inc offers “Canada’s largest, fastest, and most reliable network.” amongst Rogers, Telus????????

- Maybe Bell the largest but is Bell even the fastest over Telus? Misleading.. is the fast speed consistent, continually or is this an occasional peak speed? what actual speed does the consumer get even? try the http://www.acanac.ca/speedtest/

- Bell is the most reliable?.. and what realistic, honest Data do you have for that even now? Does that include their ISP internet now too? and Most reliable over whom? the US not included? Do please ditch ‘most reliable network’ claim !!!

- and what does it mean ” the court is not in a position to ensure compliance” of honest, truthful advertising by any of these firms?

-Misleading still claims of superiority in ads refer to footnotes such as not available all the time or in all parts of Canada still? all SUBJECT TO EXTRA COSTS TOO

Merely this is ALL still an UNACCEPTABLY a FALSE PLAY ON WORDS..

False misleading advertising has long time been made by Telus, Rogers, Bell and others in Canada while the Ostrich federal consumer ddepartment, government did nothing.. I even wrote to you about THIS ISSUE too and what it takes the courts to deal with everything now, AND so why do we need the government ?

Big Corporations are falsely allowed by our governments to do what they want cause they have big clout with their big monies? ’

It is an established, undeniable fact that at least 40 percent off Bell’s present, past customers have been dissatisfied with the actual customer support they have received in Canada relating to cell phones, internet services, billings, etc. That is why many of them have gone elsewhere even to Videotron, Acanac, etc.

On top of that many people have rushed to get a cell phone and have tied themselves now to a long term telecommunication provider contract while meanwhile very significant consumer features, new application usages have evolved.. and these thus have made their phones obsolete very quickly. Now being able to listen to music while browsing the web and sending email makes a multi-tasking Smartphone an appealing option, plus the ability to watch videos online as well. A cell phone’s integration with popular and widespread Google apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Voice will help with its popularity.

AND ANYONE WHO HAS TRIED TO DEAL WITH BELL SERVICE, COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT KNOWS HOW OBSTINATE, STONE WALLING, UNHELPFUL THEY MOSTLY CAN BE TOO..

The lying spin doctors at the news media, not just the Canada’s major telecommunications firms are now also busy working too .. Bell also does not discriminate, show partiality, it seems ready to abuse anyone.. Competition between Telus, Bell and Rogers, which control about 90 per cent of Canada’s wireless market, intensified when Bell and Telus upgraded their wireless networks, enabling them to sell Apple’s coveted iPhone for the first time earlier this month. Network speed doesn’t matter to regular cell phone or internet users, because it makes no difference for voice usage, but it becomes crucial to the smartphone experience when using bandwidth intensive programs, and for persons who like to view, download multimedia on the net..

Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty persons seems to be most effective way that works for everyone’s benefit in dealing with the bad acts of others still.

The Advertised speed is now again at the centre of a legal dispute between two of the country’s largest cell phone providers. Rogers and Telus. Telus Communications Inc. launched a lawsuit against Rogers Communications Inc. in British Columbia’s Supreme Court over Rogers advertisements that claimed its wireless network is the “fastest” and the “most reliable” in Canada. Rogers claims its mobile network indeed provided faster data speeds than those of its competitors, Telus and BCE Inc.’s Bell Canada. Actually the data speed are not consistent from day one now too and many customers have complained they do not continual recipe the expected, advertised speeds. Telus says its new network offered speeds as fast as those provided by Rogers in areas available. Rogers’ advertising also gives consumers the impression that its network provides better call clarity, fewer dropped calls and more reliable data transmission and even all that is questionable from any communication firm now too.

“Rogers has no network advantage and shouldn’t be misleading the Canadian populace with “false superiority claims?” or any of the Canadian firms now still too.. One can read about loads of customers dissatisfaction about Rogers, Telus, Bell posted on the net now already too. Rogers Wireless was disputing a Bell Canada ad claiming Bell has the “the fastest … network across North America early in the year.” The ASC found the claim to be false, but Bell Canada ignored the ruling and continued to run the advertisement, because they don’t recognize the organization as legitimate. …it seems I only hear bad things about Bell Canada. Are they really that bad? Worse. Plus they offer less and charge more. If I’m not mistaken they are also the most expensive for anything (internet, phone etc)if your not on a contract. Bell has yet to figure out why they keep losing customers

Our monopolistic Canadian wireless carriers are engaging in a war of words over even false words over speeds, reliable, etc., Telus. Rogers, Bell spin doctors all unrealistically say they expect to make loads more money gouging the customers with extra fees.. Dream on. Canadians are known to be cheap for a start eveben. Telus. B.C.’s largest private corporation, now has a “long-term evolution” network that will maybe provides a true global standard in five to six years while others already offer compatibility all over the world . A prolonged recession combined with higher up-front costs for new smart phones has forced Telus Corp. to cut its overall financial outlook for the fiscal year even as it faces greater competition Combined with upfront costs Telus and the others too must pay Apple and other handset makers such as Research In Motion Ltd. for devices means earnings for the year will be lower than expected, Telus said. Canadian carriers pay as much as $400 per iPhone with the hope that subscribers will surf the web, pushing up data revenues. Not a very realistic hope. When Consumers are already money conscious, because of the present recession.

Rogers Communications Inc., has been the market leader in wireless in Canada for years – in part because it was the only carrier to offer HSPA, favoured by handset makers like Apple Inc. The adds also do say “Telus and Bell went live with their next-generation 3G wireless network last week, delivering high-speed Internet service that’s up to four times faster than home service delivered by wires.” Telus has spent hundreds of millions of dollars overlaying its existing cellphone network with high-speed packet access (HSPA) technology in partnership with Bell Canada, The massive 1.1-million-square-kilometre network extends across British Columbia, Alberta and eastern Canada now. This wireless service is available through an Internet stick that goes in a port on any laptop computer, and network speed of 21 megabytes per second that is fast enough to download and view high-resolution video, there is a COST ASSOCIATED WITH UT STILL TOO.. Now that Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility have a joint sleek new wireless network, they have to contend with headaches that had been a concern only to their rival, Rogers Wireless, burdens, like “grey market” unlocked phones and data roaming, The Bell, Telus network reaches also across the two western provinces and into Canada’s major urban centres but still does not cover all of Canada.. Telus/Bell HSPA+ network misses almost 2 complete provinces and northwestern Ontario for any coverage, and does not allow in country GSM roaming.

Telus sues Rogers over advertised claims Telus Communications Co. is suing Rogers Communications Inc., claiming Rogers no longer has the right to call itself “Canada’s most reliable” or “Canada’s fastest” network. So if Rogers wants to continue with this claim, they should cover all of Canada and all their customers. Not just the ones that happen to live in a major city centre. Nationwide coverage??? Not even close. I currently have Telus “high speed” Internet service. On numerous occasions, this Telus service has been slower than my old 56K dial-up service. That is why I am canceling my Telus service as of next week and going with the competition (just to see if they are any better). Telus is in no position to be taking legal action based on Rogers engaging in misleading advertising. Telus does it too, with its advertised claims of high speed internet access. If Telus is advertising high-speed Internet service, it should be high speed 24/7, and not just when the network is not busy. And this is not just my computer or modem being slow, as I have had numerous others tell me that their Telus “high speed” Internet service is very slow at times. A perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black Just another couple of corporate crybabies looking to gouge the customer. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2009/11/18/bc-telus-rogers-lawsuit.html

The iPhone (s aapl) has not only changed the way people consume data on their mobile phones —

The iPhone (s aapl) has not only changed the way people consume data on their mobile phones — thanks to its touchscreen, and the myriad of apps that make grabbing such info from the web on a small device easy — it’s changed assumptions as to which devices consume the most data on mobile networks. Bytemobile, a company that provides equipment for carriers to help deliver video and data to mobile devices using less bandwidth, issued a report today that shows the difference in data consumption by device among carriers that have the iPhone and carriers that don’t. It’s pretty significant.

Laptops are still consuming most of the data on carrier networks that don’t have iPhones on them, but once folks get a touch-based smartphone such as the iPhone (and right now it’s the most popular touch-based smartphone out there), the volume of data used by those devices far exceeds that of laptop usage. In other words, when it comes to the network and data consumption, the device does matter. The report also offers some self-serving data about video consumption on mobile devices that may help carriers save on bandwidth consumption. (GigaOM Pro, subscription required).

Cisco (s csco) expects mobile data traffic to increase 63-fold over the next five years, driven in part by video. But while it’s clear that laptops and touch-based smartphones make video consumption easier, the rise may not be as steep as Cisco predicts. The report found that while the average video online is about 5 minutes in length, about half of the people only watch 60 seconds of a video, which means that sending the entire file to a user would be a waste of bytes and bandwidth. Only 31 percent of people watched all of a video, and 30 percent watched less than 10 percent. The rest of the viewers stopped watching somewhere in the middle. In addition to bandwidth consumption, such findings also could help determine where best to place ads. Although I for one hate getting pre-roll ads on my phone because that data consumed counts against my mobile bandwidth cap. But maybe I’m just super cheap.

Regardless, the problem with the iPhone is that it’s both a gateway drug for consumers, who’ve now tasted the mobile web and want more of it, as well as a canary in the coal mine, as it shows carriers what’s likely to happen as other touch-based smartphones become more popular on their own networks. Curtailing video, as suggested by the report, will solve some issues, but once you give folks a taste of broadband, they’re going to want more.

google phone rumors are back with a vengeance, spurred on by reports that the Internet behemoth Goog

google phone rumors are back with a vengeance, spurred on by reports that the Internet behemoth Google is partnering with phone maker HTC on a “super” Android device thinner than the Droid and iPhone. The release date for this Google-branded phone is early 2010, according to TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington who reported a Google Phone was in the works Tuesday.

Rumors of a Google phone are nothing new, although speculation did start to disappear once Android-based phones hit the market last year. But this is the second time a Google phone rumor has popped up in recent weeks, and Arrington’s rumor bear a striking resemblance to what we’ve heard before.

The Real Google Phone
Taking a page out of Apple’s “we control the customer experience” playbook, Google reportedly wants to produce a handset that will be completely dictated by the team in Mountain View. Details about the phone are incredibly thin. There’s no word on what kind of specs the handset would have, but potential manufacturers for the phone, according to Arrington, include LG and Samsung. A major advertising campaign introducing the phone could reportedly start as early as January of next year.
Google will reportedly sell its phone directly to customers as well as through retailers. That suggests the search giant may not have a network partner on board, and would sell unsubsidized phones instead. Phones sold outside of the carrier system means the Google phone could cost as much as $500, and would have to run on a SIM-friendly GSM networks such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
While a carrier-free Google phone would be an unusual move in the age of exclusivity contracts, it’s not unheard of. Handset makers such as RIM and Palm sell unlocked versions of their smartphones through Amazon and other retailers.
The suggestion that the phone will not be tied to a specific carrier, backs up a previous assertion by Northeast Securities analyst Ashok Kumor who made similar claims last month after Google’s “design partners” filled him about the phone, according to the Street.com.

The iPhone is not Beta
A phone experience created and designed exclusively by Google will inevitably draw comparisons with Apple’s iPhone. And, as Arrington points out, for good reason. Just as the iPhone is Apple’s vision of the handset, a Google-branded phone would be a competing vision of what the smartphone should be.
But while dictating the phone experience makes sense for Apple–a company that has a long history in designing polished hardware–Google is not about launching polished products. Can the company that made beta a punchline deliver on a complete customer experience the first time around? Sure, the original iPhone lacked smartphone basics like cut-and-paste, video capability and MMS. But with the exception of video, those are all software issues. The fact is, from a hardware perspective, the original iPhone was a revolutionary and complete product. There’s no question iPhone hardware has improved over time, but that doesn’t take anything away from the original design.
Google, on the other hand, is all about delivering an incomplete product and then fixing and improving it over time. But you can’t do that with a physical product. For smartphones there is no such thing as beta. You either get it right at launch or you don’t. It’s as simple as that.
Another question is how Google’s Android partners will react to a Google phone? As my colleague JR Raphael pointed out last month, Google has worked hard to convince manufacturers to embrace the Android platform. Changing roles from Android facilitator to Android competitor, could hamper those efforts.

Over the weekend a very big disaster for Apple occurred, which was completely a humanized one. The very popular & one of the very expensive latest gadgets, Apple’s iPhones were stolen from a huge warehouse in Williebroek, a Dutch-speaking municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The roof of the warehouse was cut neatly and about 3000 to 4000 brand new iPhones were picked stolen!!

This crime is believed to be the largest theft as it involves the latest & one of the most expensive high-end luxury mobiles, the iPhone of Apple. The iPhones that were stored in the warehouse were supposed to be shipped by Mobistar, Apple’s exclusive Belgian Career. Mobistar had been having trouble meeting the huge demand for the most popular iPhones, but their supplier had been contacted & a new shipment would arrive well in time for the holidays.

As per them they have serial numbers of the stolen iPhones, which have been blocked & so the iPhones that are stolen are of no use. Though, there is a problem that as Belgian is one of the only three countries in Europe that sells iPhones without a SIM-Lock, which will not prohibit the thieves from fencing them for use on another carrier’s network.

This theft is the largest theft as it involves a very huge amount of loss of about $3 Millions!!

Apple is trying to track the stolen iPhones through different security, though it can be admitted that the loss has been already on its way.

Have you been banned from Xbox Live or any of the services indefinitely and can’t get back on?

Have you been banned from Xbox Live or any of the services indefinitely and can’t get back on? Well, here’s the antidote for your problem!Earlier this week Microsoft banned one million of it’s Xbox 360 users from Xbox Live who were using modified firmware that enables you to run pirated copies of games. DailyTech reports today that some Xbox 360 modders are working on a solution to circumvent the ban, one fix has already arrived but it is rather complex. More details can be found over here.

The new workaround, dubbed iXtreme LT (Light Touch) aims to provide a minimum amount of security checks and aims to make the firmware as close to the stock firmware as possible to prevent detection. This fix may allow modified consoles to return to playing backup discs and other forbidden materials without Microsoft noticing.

Other members of the community are working on strategies to try to undo the changes made by Microsoft, which neuter the banned consoles, depriving them of much of their functionality (though they still will play games offline). Like Apple’s attempts to brick unlocked/jailbroken iPhones, it seems only a matter of time before the creative and dedicated community comes up with a full work around.

http://www.inkakinada.com/topstories/augmented-reality-ar-view

Augmented Reality (AR) is a new and innovative use of your mobile. Augmented Reality is an application which allows you to see the world with your mobile phone. It is simply the direct/indirect view of real world in the Camera of your cell phone. Yes, believe it. It’s as realistic as you see things with your eyes. Augmented reality to work in a mobile requires GPS, Compass, Camera, GPRS and Augmented Reality Browser. Wikitude and Layar are the popular Augmented Reality Browsers available in market now. Recently, wikitude announced Augmneted Reality support for the iphones too.

You’re walking down the street, feeling hungry and looking for a good place to eat. You find no one to guide you at that moment. Then it’s your phone that will stand with you as a friend and get you all what you want. It doesn’t get you food but finds you a place to get the food from. All that you need to do is hold up your cell phone and use it like the viewfinder on a camera, so the screen shows what’s in front of you. But it also shows things you couldn’t see before you right at that time: Brightly colored marker points indicating nearby restaurants, hotels and bakeries offering you a delicious food comes on your camera and that’s it. Have your delicious food. Thus, this application is called as Augmented Reality on Mobile phones. Almost all information of Kakinada including Business yellow pages, Movies & Theatres, Areas, Events, Classifieds-Jobs, For sale, For rent is available in your Camera phone. The camera phone that supports this feature should also have GPS, GPRS and most importantly Android Operating System inbuilt. This works using Wikitube browser.

www.inkakinada.com , a product of Nyros Technologies-CIS, Kakinada introduces augmented reality application in line with former phone services including SMS service “inkakinada” to 9000900008, calling 0884-2340004 (customer care) and Wap: mobile.inkakinada.com thus making an ease to people in searching information about Kakinada. Movies playing in theatre, Phone number & Address of Business, Schools and colleges, House for Sale/Rent available, Jobs and Kakinada Areas could be known much easily and in no time by using these services.

Perhaps the biggest letdown of the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 from Verizon Wireless is that it’s not the LG Chocolate BL40. After getting teased for months by the sexy shots of the LG BL40, we thought there might be a chance we would see it stateside. Alas, the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 looks nothing like its European cousin. In fact, the touch-screen interface reminds us a lot of previous LG touch screen handsets, like the LG enV Touch for example. The geometric shapes on the back of the phone and the bloblike buttons underneath the display are about the only things that are unique about the phone’s design.

Still, that doesn’t mean the Touch VX8575 is a terrible phone. Continuing the Chocolate tradition of strong music features, the Chocolate Touch VX8575 has a great music player with Dolby Music equalizer settings (both manual and preset modes), an FM radio, and an integrated song ID feature. There’s also a really fun “Join the Band” feature that gives you either a virtual drum kit or a scrolling 88-key keyboard to play along with your tunes. The drum kit even has a cowbell, which we found amusing.

That, and it has a nice 3.2-megapixel camera, EV-DO Rev. 0, V Cast video access, stereo Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headset jack. We weren’t big fans of the full HTML browser–you have to keep going back to a URL-entry page to enter URLs, for example–but it’s otherwise a decent touch-screen music phone from Verizon Wireless. The LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 is $79.99 with a two-year service agreement with Verizon Wireless.

20 iPhone Apps That Contribute To Our Health & Wellness As we grow older, we become more conscious of our health and what we eat, since a significant number of us have already made the decision to live a healthier lifestyle. But, as has always been the case, we don’t want to give up anything and completely change our lifestyle. We need to do it slowly, and the idea of being able to make this healthy change using the iPhone, pleases us to no end. http://bit.ly/4amXrb

The iPhone gets a business card reader app…and it works! (just about) It should now come as no surprise to you what the application attempts to do, scan business cards and add them as contacts. As I’m sure many of you have, I’ve tried a whole bunch of business card scanning gadgets , none have been portable or reliable enough for me to use with any frequency. Therefore, when I came upon this application, I naturally kept much of that skepticism and didn’t think it would amount to too much…I was wrong and impressed. http://bit.ly/L3M4O

Many can see clearly that Rogers, Bell, Videotron, Shaw, Telus all only care about one thing..

Many can see clearly that Rogers, Bell, Videotron, Shaw, Telus all only care about one thing.. maximum profits.. motivated by maximum greed.. mostly finding an excuse to charge the customer even for more.. and yes that they have done with their lies, distortions … and no one cares about integrity or the citizens, consumer, the CRTC or the governments now included.

Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty persons seems to be most effective way that works for everyone’s benefit in dealing with the bad acts of others still.

The lying spin doctors at the news media, Canada’s major telecommunications firms are busy working too ..

Advertised speed is now again at the centre of a legal dispute between two of the country’s largest cell phone providers.

Phone customers in parts of Ontario were feeling frustrated after several hours of disrupted phone service, according to the Canadian Press new service. Some phone calls were dropped during the day. Because the outage was the result of a problem at Telus Corp.. Rogers said it has internal and third party external audit since 2007 as proof that it is the most reliable network. Rogers added Telus lack data on its network performance.

If I’m not mistaken they are also the most expensive for anything (internet, phone etc)if your not on a contract.”

Telus/Bell HSPA+ network misses almost 2 complete provinces and northwestern Ontario for any coverage, and does not allow in country GSM roaming.across the two western provinces and into Canada’s major urban centres but still does not cover all of Canada..

Misleading facts , costs or hidden costs already too. Rogers scrapped its unpopular ‘System Access Fee’ earlier this year, but replaced it with a Government Regulatory Recovery Fee, and increased the price of some cell phone plans. “I suppose that they hoped by putting ‘Government’ in the title that people would assume the fee is legitimate,” quipped Virgin Group Chairman, Richard Branson and “Bell, which owns 100% of Virgin, is the only carrier still charging a system access fee for new customers.” As for the Government Regulatory Recovery Fee, Rogers says it covers “provincial 911 fees, spectrum acquisition, licensing charges, and contribution charges to help subsidize telephone service in rural and remote areas.” It is about half the cost of the old System Access Fee, which is still charged by Bell Mobility (but not Virgin).

False misleading advertising has long time been made by Telus, Rogers, Bell and others in Canada whole the Ostrich federal consumer dperantmt, government did nothing.. I even wrote to you about THIS ISSUE too and what it takes the courts to deal with everything now, AND so why do we need the government ?

AND ANYONE WHO HAS TRIED TO DEAL WITH BELL SERVICE, COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT KNOWS HOW OBSTINATE, STONE WALLING, UNHELPFUL THEY MOSTLY CAN BE TOO..

It is an established, undeniable fact that at least 40 percent off Bell’s present, past customers have been dissatisfied with the actual customer support they have received in Canada relating to cell phones, internet services, billings, etc. That is why many of them have gone elsewhere even to Videotron, Acanac, etc. http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/11/08/bells-lies-vs-reality-again/

Fruit salads,

iPhones,

a mushroom cloud,

and the Eiffel tower

all hold one thing in common:

they exist as testaments to the power of intention.

Generally speaking, for something to be dynamically effective, it must be intentional. The development of the atomic bomb proves the intent of the Manhattan project. The Eiffel tower’s architects didn’t follow the blueprints for the leaning tower of Pisa, or the White House, or any other building. Rather, they created their tower with a certain aesthetic in mind. Steve Jobs and that other guy designed the iPhone for functionality and size. Fruit salads do not accidentally happen. My point for this collection of random facts is that only intentional lives can produce effective and godly singleness.

Often, I’m tempted to view my life as “on hold” until that great looming question of romantic love gets answered. Here’s what Scripture says about that idea:

“In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ…Gird your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. “ 1 Pet. 1:6-7,13

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Eph. 2:10

“…for the form of this world is passing away. But I want you to be free from concern. One who is unmarried is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife, and his interests are divided. And the woman who is unmarried, and the virgin, is concerned about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit; but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how she may please her husband. And this I say for your own benefit; not to put a restraint upon you, but to promote what is seemly, and to secure undistracted devotion to the Lord.” 1 Cor. 7:31-35

“This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to engage in good deeds.” Titus 3:8

“Therefore also we have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 2 Cor. 5:9-10

These Scriptures demand intentional activity on the part of the believer. They require me to study God’s Word more than the Manhattan project scientists studied fission. They assert that I need to practically map out a life of Biblical functionality that will have greater impacts than a techie trend. Godliness, like fruit salad, cannot be accidental. I want a structured life that reaches for the heavens and fulfills God’s intended design.
