Jag kan inte riktigt sätta fingret på vad det är men jag tycker Irma påminner väldigt mycket om sin morfar här.

Ni vet den där katten som ingen annan får se än vi, hon och Irma är kompisar.

Idag har jag och Irma fått sprutan mot svinis, så nu behöver vi inte oroa oss om den. Vi hade BVC tid för den vanliga vaccineringen men de hade precis fått in ny sändning av svinvaccinet så jag tog snabbt beslutet att de var lite mer prio med den här. Sen frågade bvctanten om jag oxå ville ha en spruta, nu när vi ända var igång. Skönt att slippa köa å trängas som alla andra.

La Commissione europea ha lanciato un avvertimento al governo Spagnolo che qualsiasi piano per la disconnessione degli utenti del file-sharing da Internet senza l’intervento di un giudice creerebbe un conflitto con l’Unione europea.

Questa affermazione mette in serio dubbio anche i piani per i tre strikes del governo britannico e dell’ISP irlandese Eircom.

In termini di file-sharing, in Spagna vige attualmente una delle leggi più miti tra i principali paesi europei.

Il paese si crede abbia uno dei più alti tassi di condivisione online di musica e film e attualmente tutto ciò è perfettamente legale, non prevedendo alcuna somma per la violazione dei siti BitTorrent ed eDonkey.

Con le industrie del copyright che pressano con le loro lobby, il governo sta trovando sempre più difficile mantenere la posizione attuale, e sono attualmente all’esame nuovi modi per affrontare il file-sharing illegale.

Alla giornata di apertura di una conferenza che riunisce i leader del settore delle telecomunicazioni, il commissario europeo per la Società dell’informazione e i media, Vivane Reding, ha affermato che se il governo spagnolo attua misure per disconnettere i trasgressori del copyright da Internet senza la supervisione di un giudice, rischia entrare in conflitto con l’Unione europea.

“Misure spagnole che consentano l’interruzione dell’accesso a Internet senza un processo equo dinanzi a un giudice, andranno certamente a scontrarsi con l’Unione europea”, ha detto alla Conferenza della commissione per il Mercato delle Telecomunicazioni (CMT) a Barcellona ieri.

Criticando la legislazione francese Hadopi, la Reding ha sottolineato che la repressione dei cittadini non risolverebbe i problemi della pirateria su Internet, rilevando che le disconnessioni possono anche essere in contrasto con i diritti e le libertà che sono diventate parte dei valori fondanti in Europa a partire dalla Rivoluzione francese. “

Inoltre, le “libertà fondamentali” dei cittadini dell’Unione europea su cui la Reding insiste, vietano ai paesi la disconnessione dei presunti file-sharer senza una procedura che coinvolga un giudice, cosa che si applica anche ai fornitori di servizi Internet.

Questo è di particolare interesse per i clienti del più grande provider dell’Irlanda, Eircom.

All’inizio di quest’anno IRMA – che controlla il 90% della musica in Irlanda e rappresenta aziende del calibro di EMI, Sony, Universal e Warner – ha raggiunto un accordo privato con il provider di servizi Internet per implementare un’accordo dei 3 strikes per i presunti pirati, in cambio dell’interruzione di azioni legali dell’IRMA contro di essi.
La disposizione è del tutto privata, senza alcun controllo giurisdizionale, il che la mette probabilmente in conflitto con l’Unione europea.

IRMA inoltre ha intrapreso un’azione legale contro BT, il più grande provider di servizi internet dell’Irlanda, e UPC Irlend il più grande operatore via cavo del paese, per costringerli a seguirne l’esempio.
Tuttavia, la settimana scorsa IRMA ha interrotto la sua azione legale contro BT quando l’ISP ha trasferito i propri clienti Internet a Vodafone.
Non è chiaro se IRMA passerà all’attacco di Vodafone, ma il gruppo conferma che continuerà a perseguire UPC.

Sarà interessante vedere come la dichiarazione della Commissione europea influirà sul Digital Economy Bill che è stato presentato nel Regno Unito la scorsa settimana.
La normativa proposta chiede anche la disconnessione dei trasgressori di copyright recidivi, una misura che si è dimostrata impopolare tra i cittadini.

Migliaia di persone hanno già firmato una petizione contro il nuovo disegno di legge.

Damn. I thought I had something to write about today. it’s been a long time since I updated my blog, but between work, school and miscellaneous, sometimes things get put on the back burner. I thought I would have plenty to write about though, but I can’t think of a single thing that I want to stretch out into its own post. Perhaps in the next few weeks. In the meantime, enjoy some of my recent ramblings.

Google is Evil.

Yup, it sure is. Personally, I don’t believe that they’re not “evil”. They might be less “evil” but that doesn’t mean they’re going to do the right thing in order to sacrifice profits, I doubt few if any businesses would do that. In a clarification (yeah, it’s from Valleywag, but I tend to agree with Marco), CEO Eric Schmidt says the slogan is meant as a conversation starter, not a corporate ethics rule. Fair enough, but too many people believe that it is.

Now I’m not one to start fear-mongering and suggest that we all get out the pitchforks, but I do have reservations about our apparent devotion to a company whose bread and butter relies on gathering, processing and using information Oh crap, they already know about this post, AAARRGH!. Google is not a “search” company, they make money from advertising, and the more accurately they can sell advertising, the more they can charge and turn into profit. Again, I’m not against profit, everybody’s gotta eat. Anyway, good luck to them, the last advertisement that worked on me was the one on the radio where Will Smith encouraged me to buy his then-new album, Willennium.

Let’s just say I got a wee bit burnt on that one and no advertisement of any kind has worked on me since. I’m fairly confident that as a user, I cost Google money, they only get paid if I click on an ad, and guess what, I don’t click on any, mainly because they’re not really relevant to what I’m searching for exactly.

Another aspect is Android, the open-source mobile OS. A fantastic idea! I’m all for it. It works on multiple handsets, is free (as in beer) and can be developed by anyone. The downside, Google uses proprietary code to build on the Linux kernel. And again, has access to a lot of personal information. For the record, I do use Gmail, and yes, I know they scan them and use keywords for ads. But e-mail is as private as a postcard so no worries.

Is Google better than Apple and Microsoft and lots of other companies? Sure, but I think we’re giving it a wee bit too much control over our online lives. Better safe than sorry.

Eircom and IRMA

Blah! I don’t even know why I’m giving the time of day to something like this. Seriously lads, Telecomm companies and record labels are shite enough at the best of times, why did ye have to go and make things worse? Send letters to so-called pirates? To be honest, when I downloaded all that music way back in the days of Napster 1.0 and Audiogalaxy, I paid you guys by the minute for the privilege.

As for you, IRMA (ah, too bad you didn’t get the top billing from Google lads, you’re not even in the first 5 pages. That’s an achievement!), I hear the local record shop in the hometown went out of business. Too bad, unfortunately for them, I discovered Amazon.com years ago and suddenly, coughing up IR£23.00 for a CD just didn’t cut it anymore, especially if I could buy them for about a third of the price online. Too bad ye copped on to CDWOW!, Supply and demand fellas, the free market rules.

While we’re on the subject, who the heck buys a single these days? Seriously, do people still tape off the radio? Ah, those were the days, hovering over the record button like Tom about to pounce on Jerry, waiting for the DJ to shut the hell up. And then POW! You were off and running, “stealing” every song in the top 40 (OK, only the cool ones). Oooooooooh. Of course listening to the bands whose music I stole borrowed subscribed to (yeah, that’s the word I’m looking for) meant that when I could finally afford to pay Ticketmaster (“No-one’s going to pay a 100% service charge”) to see them in concert, where the same bands make most of their money anyways.

Right, back to my point, which was, um, I forgot. Oh yeah, don’t filter the internet, Ireland slow enough as it is and the economy is so far down the toilet it’s in the second stage biofilter down the sewage treatment works. Besides, did you know that every person you kick off the internet results in lower profits fo…EIRCOM! Pay attention! Think about as you send the bill to IRMA.

This month: $29.77! Yes that’s right, a whole month, that’s MONTH of Ben Franklin’s finest invention for less than the cost of putting petrol in the car for a week. To any American with central air conditioning, I say: if you ain’t home, you don’t need to heat (or cool the joint for that matter). Seriously, $250 a month in electric? There’s a recession out there guys, think how much more dough you could have for Black & Blue Friday next week if you just wore a sweater around the house.

Right, enough of a rant, now I have to spend the next hour editing it and putting in all the links and pictures. I promise a more coherant post soon, once I get through the Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection from Netflix.

Efter att jag har oroat mig om jobb hela hösten så är det nu nästan löst. Har blivit erbjuden två jobb på två dagar, nu ska jag bestämma mig. Ska svara under dagen, jag vet vad jag ska välja men jag vet inte om de har ändrat sig.

Har fortfarande inte fått ordning på kamera överföring, men de kommer väldigt fina och roliga bilder.

Irma “pratar” med mig hela dagarna, det är verkligen som om hon berättar saker men de låter bara dadadad dada. Ungefär 30 gånger om dagen klappar Irma sig på magen och vill att jag ska sjunga klappa magen sången. irma skrattar och gör några av rörelserna. Det är så häftigt hur fort de går, från att inte kunna fokusera med blicken till tvåvägskommunikation.

Igår hände de, Irma tog sina första tre steg själv, rätt in i min famn. idag har hon reprisat de men med bara ett steg varje gång.

P.S. Did we mention that Louis’s speech is an absolute howler? Robert Morley was never more hilarious, or more perfectly cast, than in this succulent role of the pitiful king.

Mas gostaria de contar sobre os últimos 4 dias da minha vida, fazendo uma analogia com o filme que assisti ontem “500 dias com ela”.

Pré-estréia do filme “Atividade Paranormal”. Olha, deu medo viu, mas foi bem legal. Tive a companhia dela ao meu lado com seus sustos na cadeira e mão gelada no fim do filme.

Baladinha “Sogô” com o chão todo melecado e dois tombos meus marcando a noite, e ela lá, segurando minha mão e dando risada da minha cara, óbvio.

Sábado, 14/11 (3)

Bar “Athenas” com salto alto e flertes com os caras dos outros carros, muita risada, encontro com amigos, sono e volta para casa, porque não temos mais 20 anos.

Domingo, 15/11 (4)

Bar de gelo da Antártica Sub Zero, samba rock, gelo gelo gelo mesmo só com nome na lista e $200 na mão. Tá bom, aham Claudia senta lá!

Cinema no shopping Frei Caneca, filme “500 dias com ela”, McDonald´s e a deixei num lugarzinho ai pra ser feliz. rs

Em todos os dias, tivemos a companhia (muito agradável) de outros amigos, familiares e pessoas queridas. Mas quase em todos os momentos da minha vida, tenho essa amiga que se tornou uma irmã, devido aos 10 anos que nos conhecemos, respeitamos, aturamos e dedicamos uma a outra.

Quero somente dizer, Obrigada Cris, por sempre ser minha cúmplice.

…vi gör en stöt idag, så vi bröt oss in på Konsum och tog en ask choklad. Så lyder en av texterna till Sundsvallsbandet Rasta Hundens mer kända allster. Har gått och nynnat på den hela dagen idag så jag var ju bara tvungen att skriva ned detta.
Irma är som vanligt en solstråle när man kommer hem ifrån kneget – tack Irma för att du peppar din far – det kanske blir en moped ändå. (Bara det blir en Puch – bara mesar åker Zündapp för att inte tala om något japanskt skräp, vet ju ej hur man trimmar en sådan sak.). Den lilla solstrålsterrosisten har en förmåga att få vardagsrummet att likna Beirut efter ett bombanfall med avancerade splitterbomber – fattar inte hur hon gör, men roligt verkar hon ha. Sen att mamma och pappa hela tiden får plocka upp det bryr ju hon inte sig om för fem öre.

Hobbyhörnan informerar att mitt begagnade Lima RC2 lok, SJ1035 har blivit sålt och in på bangården rullar snart ett sprillans nytt RC2  lok SJ1091 från fleischmann med högre motoreffekt samt betydligt bättre detalj och köregenskaper. / Micke

Pelos meus posts do ultimo dia, meu blog deveria mudar de nome. De Muito Mais Sentimental, porque sim, eu sou uma pessoa muito sentimental, este espaço virtual – cuidado com tanto carinho e dedicação – deveria se chamar Diário do Pequeno Tom Zé. Sério!

Peço desculpas por isso… Tenho consciência de quanto isso é chato para quem não o conhece e não viveu com ele nos últimos nove anos e meio. Mas minha cabeça anda preocupada demais com o meu cachorrinho que não consigo pensar em mais nada.

Abandonei a execução do meu primeiro capítulo do Mestrado – pelo jeito, minha qualificação ficará para o começo do ano que vem mesmo – e só penso nele. É bizarro, mas meu bebê está doente, muito doente, e só ele ocupa lugar em meus pensamentos e sentimentos. Não consigo controlar isso – é mais forte que eu!

A melhora de ontem foi rapidamente revertida por um quadro grava durante a madrugada. O pequeno voltou a passar mal – vomitando direto e evacuando constantemente com sangue. Diante disso, optamos pelo extremo: resolvemos interná-lo numa clínica veterinária. Levamos ele logo de manhã – nem eram 7h00 quando chegamos lá – e não temos a menor idéia de quando ele receberá alta.

Enquanto esperamos o organismo dele reagir, ficamos apreensivas. Cada uma aqui em casa reage de uma maneira: mamãe alterna entre momentos de choro e momentos de pensamento positivo. Eu alterno entre momentos de limpeza (TOC, sabe?) e momentos de choro. Já a minha irmã tenta ser a mais forte e racional, mas ela também chora de vez em quando.

Em compensação, tenho mais sono do que em qualquer momento do resto do ano. Acho que estou usando o sono como uma válvula de escape. Sou a única que deita e dorme profundamente. Tenho sonhos extremamente reais, quase num tom de alucinação. E, quanto mais durmo, mais cansada eu fico. Sou a mais abatida – tenho chorado muito, é verdade -, mas sou a mais cansada!

Enfim… É só uma fase difícil! Só isso!

PS= As rezas para São Francisco de Assis continuam… Afinal, num momento de dor, acho que só a fé consola. Não é?!

Segundo o veterinário, Tom Zé está não corre mais risco de morte. O quadro de saúde dele continua grave, mas continua estável e dá pequenas melhoradas ao longo dos dias.

Conseguir pegar a veia dele pela segunda vez e dar soro com certeza já foi algo muito bom, principalmente porque mostra que ele está um pouco mais forte e hidratado. A brabeza dele ,que aumenta a cada hora junto com o seu grau de interação, também é bastante significativo… É a regra: quanto mais bravo para tomar os remédios, melhor ele estará. Afinal, estará reagindo!

Na parte física, ele tem feito mais xixi – isso demonstra que os rins dele estão funcionando – e, pela primeira vez desde que ficou ruim, meu pequeno cachorro conseguiu comer. Ótimo!

Agora é ter paciência e torcer para o quadro dele reverter o quanto antes. Enquanto isso, paralisei um pouco a minha vida e estou atendendo quase que 24 horas por dia, junto com minha mãe e minha irmã. Mas não tem problemas.

O importante é meu bebê ficar bem… Só isso me importa agora!

Igår lyckades hon då äntligen ta sig upp i soffan till sin älskade fjärrkontroll. Inget bildbevis finns men ögonblicket sågs inte bara av oss utan också Irmas mormor och morfar som var här på fika.

Så här spenderar jag mycket av mina dagar, gåendes med ett måttband i handen. Irma är så klart i andra änden. Det är inte ofta som bandet är spänt utan Irma parerar själv när hon är på väg att tappa balansen.

Idag satt Irma på pottan och kissade för första gången i sitt liv – stort för den som är liten och aldrig har varit på muggen förut. Vidare så gjorde hon en akrobatisk insats i köket, närmare bestämt vid spisen. Rätt som det var så hängde hon med ett fast grepp i övre handtaget på spisen och med sina knän på handtaget på den nedre spisplåtsluckan – hon såg helnöjd ut. Detsamma kan man inte säga om hennes mamma och pappa vid samma tillflle – livsfarligt.
Vi tog tuben till Lilljeholmen idag och promenerade via Aspudden till Midsommarkransen – en väldigt skön höstpromenad – precis vad familjen behövde – frisk luft.
