刺青 (Spider Lilies) is a 2007 film out of Taiwan. The film stars Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong.

Rainie Yang plays Jade, a webcam girl. Jade is looking for something in life but hasn’t found it yet. Jade has a childhood crush on Takeko, played by Isabella Leong. Takeko was originally from Japan. Takeko also has a mentally challenged brother whom she has to take care of daily. Jade finds Takeko’s place and goes there regularly to strike up a romance. In the end, the two go through hardships to fall for each other.

The film was a bit hard to watch. The subject matter was not very interesting to me. I wasn’t even aware that this was a lesbian based film until the childhood accounts. I was only aware that this was a Rainie and Isabella movie. Maybe I should have read the back story. However, it gives a daily account of people looking for love and a purpose. In the end, it was a message that love isn’t easy to come by and that you’ll have to make some sacrifices.

1/3 đầu tiên đã dành để giải quyết vấn đề Hà Lội, nên không đề cập đến nữa.

2/3 còn lại thì như công thức trên, nên em nó đã nhanh chóng lấy lại vóc dáng của một bé cừu xinh xắn: trắng trẻo – tròn trịa – đáng yêu

Một sự kiện đáng nhớ: designer “hụt” cho Mobell Bé S giới thiệu cho em nó công việc rất tốt, và em nó – trong tình trạng lúc bấy giờ là mỗi tuần onl được 1h, muốn onl được thì phải thu xếp một số (không ít) công việc và sự quản lý của gia đình để 3 chân 4 cẳng chạy đi – đã hoàn thành được một poster mẫu giao cho người ta. Đầu tiên muốn làm poster về viên kim cương Heart of Ocean trong phim Titanic, vì thực sự rất thích nó và câu nói của nhân vật  Rose Dawson: “Trái tim người phụ nữ như bí mật của đại dương xanh thẳm”, nhưng không tìm được ảnh chất lượng tốt của viên kim cương ấy nên đành chào thua ý tưởng ban đầu.

Rồi chợt nhớ đến  Isa, tự nghĩ cứ làm về điều mình thích – người mình thích xem sao, ai cấm đâu, thế là làm, nhưng không hề mang chút hình ảnh nào của sis vào design, xử lý nền theo những cảm nhận của mình về sis – tên chính chọn là Isa – chữ và địa điểm White Palace lấy màu trắng có chút ẩn ý, cũng là nick name của sis “Tiểu Bạch” – font chữ mềm mại và sang trọng. Kết quả đây:

Sự thật là chưa hài lòng, nhưng do thời gian lên mạng không nhiều, thời gian “nung” ý tưởng quá lâu thành ra trễ hẹn nên phải nộp nó. Anyway, đây là thử nghiệm đầu tiên của em nó với style thế này, nên vẫn xem nó như con cưng

Một tháng về nhà không có những cơn đau, thực sự không nghĩ là diệu kỳ đến thế Chắc vì tinh thần thoải mái, nhịp sống chậm và không còn căng thẳng hay lo lắng cho ai – việc gì nữa. Sweet home mà

Ngập tràn “Isabella”

Hôm nay HBO chiếu Mummy 3 của Isabella, chờ từ 7h tối (tại thông báo là 8h Thai mà không nhớ Thai có cùng múi giờ Viet không, ta nói đãng trí chưa, nên chờ trước 1h cho chắc, lúc coi mới nhớ Bangkok – Jakasta – Hanoi chung +7 >.<), khựa khựa, không hổ danh “Mỹ nhân xác ướp”, dù đã tăng cân và trông tròn trịa hơn nhưng Isa vẫn xinh lung linh “không cần chỉnh sửa Photoshop” ^^ Nhưng mừ phim thì không hay bằng 2 phần trước, nên chủ yếu là ngắm Isa thoai, hố hố, xem phim này mới thấy chiều cao Bồ Đào Nha + Anh + Trung Quốc của Isa nổi bần bật – 1m74 – đứng thấp hơn Brendan có chút xíu hà :p (Mong là bé Ethan thừa hưởng chiều cao và vẻ đẹp của mom Isa )

Niềm vui bất ngờ cuối ngày, là Isabella, không sai vào đâu được, vai người cháu gái từ nước ngoài về tìm lại sự thật về ông trong bộ phim Nút thắt. Ta nói như có linh cảm hay sao ih, bình thường không xem kênh này, bình thường chuyển kênh rất nhanh khi nhìn thoáng qua vài giây, nhưng mà hôm nay bật đến VTC6 thì khựng lại, góc quay lúc ấy đang là sau lưng diễn viên nữ, nhưng cái dáng cao cao gầy gầy đó thì không lẫn vào đâu được, thế là nán lại xem cho được gương mặt diễn viên… “Isa, là Isa, trùi ui là Isa, ô la la vui quá!”, đang 9h tối mà tưởng có thể hét lên giữa nhà ^^ Tuy là vai phụ thôi nhưng là nhân vật dẫn truyện, kết nối mạch bộ phim, với ngoại hình Bồ + Anh + Trung ấy thì hợp vai khỏi chê, hehe! Lúc đóng Nút thắt là còn ốm, gương mặt “xương xương” gầy gầy, sau này có Mummy 3 là tròn nhất thôi (nhưng cũng không tròn bằng hiện tại, haiz, nhắc đến đau lòng quá ah mà T.T)

Hôm nay có một chuyện vui, hehe, rất là vui! 11h30 trưa nay lúc chuẩn bị đi nấu ăn, search qua các kênh lần cuối xem có gì để nghe không, thì ta nói … lần thứ 3 trong chưa đầy 1 tháng … linh cảm lại cho em nó dừng đúng kênh có phim của Isa, yeah yeah yeah!!! Lần này là “Good bye Luisa”, phim của EEG đo ni đóng giày cho gà nhà đóng chung và thể hiện nhạc phim chung. Trong phim Isa đóng vai chính cùng Steven (nhóm Boy’s của EEG thì phải, không rõ lắm, nhưng túm lại là người của EEG luôn), một cô nàng tính cách có vẻ ngang bướng và hơi … du côn, nhưng thực ra rất đáng yêu và đáng thương. Nếu cuộc sống của bạn chỉ còn đếm từng ngày sau tấm màn trắng muốt của bệnh viện, bạn sẽ mong ước điều gì? Với Luisa (Isa) thì cô ấy ước được đi vòng quanh thế giới với Kris (Steven), được trốn ra ngoài đi chơi một ngày với Kris, được ngắm tuyết rơi với Kris. Tất cả những điều ước của Luisa đều được Kris thực hiện, lần lượt, từng ước muốn một … đến khi cô gục lên vai anh hôn mê lần cuối cùng … Nhạc phim là Isa và Steven hát, không đặc biệt lắm (em nó nhận xét thật lòng, trước giờ không thiên vị “người nhà”   Isa giọng khá yếu, lên sân khấu chủ yếu nhờ ngoại hình và vũ đạo thôi); phim thần tượng, cốt truyện nhẹ nhàng cùng đoạn kết có hậu, không mang tính nghệ thuật quá cao nhưng “Good bye Luisa” một lần nữa khai thác được tính cách phức tạp trong nội tâm Isa, ý tớ ở đây là tính cách phức tạp của chính Isa, tưởng rất dữ dội lại hóa ra yếu đuối, tưởng mong manh dễ vỡ nhưng lại mạnh mẽ vô cùng (tuy nhiên chỉ là phần nào của con người “hỗn hợp” đó, sau này “Isabella” và SL mới là hai phim nổi bật tính cách của Isa nhất). Thông điệp của phim rất quen thuộc: mỗi người đều có một bí mật, mỗi người đều có một nỗi đau riêng, nhưng mọi người ai cũng trân trọng cuộc sống, ai cũng khao khát sống những ngày hạnh phúc; chỉ cần tin tưởng, mỗi người rồi sẽ tìm thấy tình yêu đích thực của mình. Ngồi xem đến hết phim, bỏ luôn cái Eng Sub không thèm đọc để nhìn cho kỹ diễn viên ^^, hihi, một cảm giác rất là Yomost!!!

“Người ta thường hút vào mình những gì mình nghĩ”, không biết có phải thế không mà cứ gặp phim của Isa đóng suốt, ngoài Vicky ra thì Isa là người thứ hai có thứ “ma lực” này, lâu rùi mới như trẻ con yêu thích ai đó cuồng nhiệt đến vậy, so với ngày xưa hâm mộ Vicky thì bi giờ cường độ thích Isa không thua kém, hehe, thậm chí tần số còn tăng dần mới chết chứ, ai bảo thương I từ hồi đọc profile, giống như khi đọc profile của V vậy, cảm giác không diễn tả được. Hẹn một entry dài hơi viết cho idol của tui: Isabella Leung và Vicky Zhao!

P.S: Bắt đầu nhớ SG rồi, con sâu việc ngọ nguậy suốt trong người không tha rồi, cứ phải kiếm cái gì đó làm, kiếm cái gì đó học, nhưng cũng chả có bao nhiêu, tại việc nhà thì không nhiều, tài liệu trong máy thì có xíu xiu hà, đọc chút là hết, đau lòng, thôi ráng ăn ngủ mấy ngày nữa, cuối tuần lên SG rùi lại “cày bừa” ^^

Phù, done, nguyên tháng hè chắt chiu được bi nhiêu Tuần sau, ôi cái tuần sau, “là phúc không phải họa, là họa thì không tránh khỏi”, nên có đập đầu vô gối cũng vậy thoai, nghỉ ngơi cho đến cuối tuần, đầu tuần bắt đầu “vào trận”, aja aja fighting!!!

Cuối cùng đã làm được!!! Từ lượng rating lúc đầu đếm trên đầu ngón tay, vài comment ít ỏi, tăng dần lên mười mấy, hơi chững lại ở 23, để rồi sau một đêm vụt lên 49, vượt mặt ngoạn mục ứng viên nặng ký kia với tỉ lệ 49/37, đó là sự cố gắng của rất nhiều con người, trong đó có mình

Tưởng có thể nhảy lên được khi mình contact thành công với Thai Fans của Isa, họ cho phép dùng mail và các thông tin cá nhân để đăng ký tài khoản, vote và post comments, nhờ đó sau một đêm cục diện đã thay đổi hoàn toàn!

Thế mới thấy đôi khi bản thân cũng cố chấp và cố gắng đến mức lập được những thành tích ngoài dự kiến, niềm tin và tình yêu của Bạch Dương là một điều thiêng liêng khó xoay chuyển, chỉ đến khi con cừu thực sự lao vào cuộc đấu bảo vệ niềm tin và tình yêu của bản thân thì người khác mới ngỡ ngàng nhận ra và chấp nhận thất bại mà thôi, hehe (nói nghe ghê quá )

Muốn viết một entry trút bực sau khi topic chăm chút bao ngày đã được del thẳng tay không thương tiếc – không báo trước!

Tình hình là người đang rất nóng, giờ mà có con khô mực để gần chắc tí có món mực nướng ăn >.<

Viết hết một lượt ra cho thoải mái, để ngủ ngon mai còn đá cầu (môn học sát “Onaty” )

Về chuyện thiết kế: theo như được kể thì cái hôm bữa làm cho L.H được bạn CN khen đẹp và muốn lấy làm mẫu chung cho toàn thể từ đây về sau, nhưng éo le ở chỗ đã có một thiết kế trước đó rồi, và mình cũng nói rõ với H là “tao giúp vì chuyện của mày, không phải chuyện của …, được chứ?”, nên giờ hai mẫu đang được xem xét và lựa chọn, khi nghe tin mình cũng bày tỏ quan điểm rồi: nếu thích thì cứ dùng mẫu của mình, không có gì cả. Không vui ở chỗ, nếu từ đầu đưa ra lựa chọn chính xác và biết trân trọng thì có phải hơn không?

Về chuyện rating: bỏ bao nhiêu công sức, cuối cùng bị del không thương tiếc, từ sau chuyện Vic bị đồn mua vai diễn TYT đến giờ thì đây là lần thứ 2 thấy giận đến thế! Đúng là tính mình nóng nảy, nhưng không chấp nhận được là không chấp nhận được, ý kiến của bản thân thì giữ lại còn của người khác lại del là cớ mần sao???

Về những chuyện khác: nhiều lúc cảm thấy rất khó mở lời, những sự ngắt quãng, những khoảng lặng hình như cứ đưa nhau ra xa hơn, hay chỉ là cảm giác nhất thời trong lúc không bình tĩnh, không rõ… chỉ biết không muốn như thế…

Tổng kết: tính Bạch Dương rất ích kỷ, cái Bạch Dương nghĩ đến đầu tiên là bản thân mình, nghĩa là chỉ có hai option trong hầu hết các trường hợp: hoặc tất cả, hoặc không là gì cả.

Trong công việc, hoặc là cố gắng hết sức và chờ đợi một kết quả tốt nhất xứng đáng, hoặc là nhường lại cho người tinh thông hơn.

Chinese starlet Isabella Leong gave birth to a baby boy on April 26, 2009 in Toronto, Canada.

Isabella Leong (梁洛施) (21) and boyfriend Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li (simp:李泽楷;trad:李澤楷) (42) started their relationship in March of 2008. There were already rumours in early 2009 that the actress was pregnant circulating the media.

Isabella is a model and actress, in Hong Kong. Isabella’s father was Portuguese and her mother is half English half Chinese. Her most notable appearance was in the movie ‘Isabella’ (2006) which won her a number of award nominations. Richard Li is the second son of Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-Shing (simp:李嘉诚;trad:李嘉誠). Richard is a Hong Kong based businessman, amongst his most notable Hong Kong businesses are chairman and executive director of PCCW Limited and Pacific Century Group in Hong Kong.

The baby’s name is Ethan Li Changzhi (loose translation). Leong’s manager, Michelle Lo, said the big day was on April 26, with Ethan Li weighing in at seven pounds.

Một nguồn tin cho hay, gia đình Lý Trạch Giai – bạn trai của Lương Lạc Thi không ủng hộ mối quan hệ của họ, nhưng kể từ khi sinh con trai cho gia đình họ Lý, cha chồng tương lai của cô đã thay đổi thái độ.

Đại diện của Lương Lạc Thi đính chính, con trai của nữ diễn viên này và Lý Trạch Giai – con trai thứ hai của tỉ phú Hồng Kông chào đời vào cuối tháng 4 chứ không phải cuối tháng 5 như thông tin ban đầu.

Đại diện của Lương Lạc Thi tuyên bố, bé trai này là kết quả tình yêu của Lương Lạc Thi và Lý Trạch Giai. “Đó không phải là một “tai nạn” mà hoàn toàn nằm trong dự kiến ban đầu của Lương Lạc Thi và Lý Trạch Giai”, quản lý của nữ diễn viên này nói thêm.

Synopsis
Tattoo artist Takeko keeps a framed design of the spider lily flower on the wall of her parlor. The design was literally cut from the flesh of her father, after he was crushed to death in an earthquake. The image of the spider lily tattoo is the last cohesive memory of Takeko’s traumatized brother, Ching, who is no longer able to recognize anyone, including his sister. Spider Lilies or 刺青 is a Taiwanese film about two lesbian girls played by Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong and directed by Zero Chou. 

I’m not going to write about the storyline but if you’re interested, you can read about it here or watch it here. I have to say though, the subbing isn’t great and there are parts where there are no subs at all. My chinese wasn’t as bad as I thought so it wasn’t as much of a problem for me. If your chinese (mando) is crap then I think there’s another version on Youtube.      

I found this by chance, I was watching The Mummy 3 and I looked up Isabella Leong. I thought the title Spider Lilies was interesting so I clicked. 

I do have some of Rainie Yang’s music but I’m not really that familiar with her, I didn’t know she acted too. 

My opinion of the film.. it was ok I guess. Can’t say I really paid much attention to it to be fair. Was uploading Younha’s links and watching music videos at the same time. (Don’t ask how I managed that, I don’t know)

I’m not really into girls and girls but this pic ish hawt.

La serie di film de “La Mummia” cambia rotta e per il terzo capitolo della saga, “La Mummia: la tomba dell’Imperatore Dragone”, diretto da Rob Cohen (Fast and Furious, XXX), si sposta in territorio asiatico.

Dopo il successo della versione cinematografica, il film sarà disponibile sugli scaffali italiani a partire dal 18 dicembre in una edizione Home Video (1 e 2 DVD e Blu-Ray) arricchita da corposi contenuti speciali e impreziosita dall’applicazione U-Control, marchio distintivo della Universal, e le funzioni interattive BD-Live.

Per un Natale all’insegna della Mummia, la Universal Pictures Italia invita grandi e piccini a partecipare al “Grande Torneo de La Mummia: la tomba dell’Imperatore Dragone”, domenica 21 dicembre presso il Bicocca Village di Milano, dalle 10.30 alle 13.00 e dalle 15.00 alle 20.00.

I protagonisti della mummificazione saranno stavolta degli alberi di Natale, che i partecipanti si impegneranno a foderare di carta nel più breve tempo possibile, in un divertente gioco che farà rivivere a tutta la famiglia il clima di avventura del film, e vincere uno sfizioso gadget.

Il torneo “Grande Torneo de La Mummia: la tomba dell’Imperatore Dragone”  consiste in un gioco a tempo. I partecipanti dovranno formare una squadra che dovrà “mummificare” – ossia fasciare – un albero di Natale con della carta igienica, senza farla rompere. Nel caso in cui la carta si rompa, la squadra dovrà iniziare da capo. Personale addetto cronometrerà i tempi.
La squadra che riuscirà a scendere sotto il tempo definito dall’organizzazione, riceverà in regalo un gadget del film.

Per rivivere da protagonisti le peripezie della famiglia ‘O Connel, U.P.I. regala inoltre l’avventuroso video gioco del film edito da Gameloft. Si potrà così riscoprire tutta l’azione de “La Mummia” sul proprio telefonino, in un gioco ricco di livelli e di sorprese con una impattante grafica 3D, in omaggio nelle confezioni del film in DVD (1,2 dischi) e Blu Ray.

IL FILM

Condannato da una terribile fattucchiera (Michelle Yeoh) a trascorrere l’eternità in uno stato di ‘sospensione’, il malvagio Imperatore cinese Drago  e i suoi 10.000 guerrieri sono rimasti sepolti e dimenticati per lunghi eoni, interrati nell’argilla come un grande esercito silenzioso di terracotta. Ma quando l’audace avventuriero Alex O’Connell viene indotto a risvegliare il sovrano dal sonno eterno, il temerario giovane archeologo deve cercare l’aiuto delle uniche persone che sanno davvero come liberarsi dei morti: i suoi genitori. Quando il monarca torna in vita, i nostri eroi si rendono conto che il suo desiderio di dominare il mondo non ha fatto altro che intensificarsi, nel corso dei millenni. Attraversando il Lontano Oriente con inimmaginabili poteri sovrannaturali, la Mummia Imperatore intende guidare una legione indomita e dotata di una forza superiore… a meno che gli O’Connells non riescano a fermarla.

Everyone has been warning me about this film. The bad reviews and the film’s performance, or rather lack thereof,  at the box office was more than an indication as to how bad it is. But as always I wanted to see for myself. Prepared for the worst I was still horribly disappointed.

The Mummy – Tomb of the Dragon Emperor brings back our favorite tomb raiders, although Rachel Weisz wouldn’t return so Maria Bello took over her role. After the disaster of the second Mummy film I was not surprised to hear of the departure, or not return, of Weisz. But how they got Maria Bello is beyond me. Speaking of great casting that is totally wasted in this film let’s not forget Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh, the only reasons to watch this film. Especially Yeoh is completely wasted in this flick, that is trying to recapture old glory, but falls short in every regard. Li and Yeoh hardly have any screen time, which is reserved for the annoying little brat from The Mummy Returns, the McConnell son, all grown up now.

The film opens with a powerful emperor scorned by the woman he loves and the poor other guy therefore getting torn into several pieces. Thousands of years pass. Sound familiar? It is. This film is rehashing the original Mummy script. How boring and lackluster is that. A remake within your own franchise? That must be a new one. This time though the emperor comes back to raise hell, not the secret lover. We also have the people who watch over the tomb for thousands of years again including their rival faction. Everything is the same, but lacking the first one’s charme and entertainment value. Instead of a funny roller coaster ride and witty dialogue we get action that we have seen many times over and characters that have lost their energy and want to be finally done with this.

The Mummy Returns was already a big failure and a horrid film, but at least we had an interesting villain with cool powers. The element powers of Jet Li’s character are fun at first, but the script is not making enough out of it. No woah effects here when he uses his powers. They are pretty lame although effective against the other characters. Changing into all kinds of creatures doesn’t help either.

I can’t think of a single scene that I liked this time around. I was actually glad when it was finally over, with its predictable ending and the shot at a possible sequel. Who ever has the power to do so MAKE IT STOP! The characters are over this, the actors are over this and the fans as well. Bury this franchise and hope that no one in the near future will raid its burial ground and bring another curse and film into existence. Thousands of years shall pass. At least that way I won’t live to see it.

On April 23, 2008, while filming the idol drama The Bad Campus Belle in Sanchih, Yang fell heavily from the stairs, and was sent to Mackay Memorial Hospital. The stairs were located between the third floor, where the dressing room was located, and the first floor, where the film set was located. The crew originally thought the falling object was a light frame, but upon hearing a groan, they realized it was her. After an X-ray examination, doctors diagnosed Yang’s injury as a spinal contusion. After leaving the hospital, producer Angie Chai took Yang to a Chinese massage therapist.

Criticism:
In 2003, Yang mistook the eight-year Second Sano-Japanese War as having been eleven years in length during a television program. After learning the actual length of the war, she responded with “Only eight years?” This response generated anger in China, leading to the boycotting of Hunan Satellite Television’s airing of Devil Beside You, in which she acted. Upon learning of the widespread boycott, Hunan TV replaced the show’s airtime with Green Forest, My Home.

Spider Lilies (Chinese=刺青; pinyin= Cì Qīng; literally “Tattoo”) is a Taiwanese lesbian drama film, released in 2007. It is the second feature-length film by director Zero Chou, and stars Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong in the lead roles. Spider Lilies was screened at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Teddy Award for best feature film. It was released in the United States by Wolfe Video on May 6, 2008.

Plot summary: Jade is a webcam girl, who broadcasts herself nightly on the internet to anonymous users. She seeks a tattoo, which leads her to the studio of tattoo artist Takeko, who also happens to be Jade’s childhood crush. Jade becomes entranced by a large tattoo of golden flowers—spider lilies—on Takeko’s arm. She wants the same design, but Takeko refuses, telling her that the flowers are cursed.

Takeko’s father, who was killed in an earthquake, had the same tattoo on his arm. Her younger brother witnessed the incident and was traumatised by it, left with no memory except for the image of the flowers. Takeko decided to get the same tattoo, in the hope that it would help her brother’s recovery. Nevertheless, Takeko finds herself drawn to Jade, and begins designing a new tattoo for her.

Meanwhile, a young police officer trying to ambush Jade and the rest of the girls working in the same website, but takes to speaking to her, listening to her childhood stories and connecting with her, therefore slowing down the investigation he is supposed to be working on. Eventually he falls in love with her, trying to tell her to get out before it’s too late and before she’s caught. He blurts out that he loves her, and Jade, mistaking him for Takeko, goes to her.

They make love and this causes Takeko to become distracted from her brother. Desperate and frightened, he goes out to a road looking for her, but instead he gets in a car accident. Just before his accident, he recovers his memory.

The policeman finally tells Jade who he is and that she must get offline immediately. She cries and realizes it was not Takeko who had told her she loved her. Takeko finds her brother in the hospital, where he has slipped into a severe coma. Devasted and guilt-stricken, she sends a farewell message to Jade saying that she will not be able to finish Jade’s tattoo.

Jade receives Takeko’s message and falls into a fit of weeping, utterly heartbroken. Meanwhile, Takeko’s brother awakes from his coma with his memory intact. A joyful Takeko sends Jade another message apologizing, and saying that she will wait for her in the tattoo shop. The last image of the film is some earlier footage of Jade, coming to meet Takeko.

Muchachos, productores de Hollywood … ¿es necesario hacerle caso al dicho de “No hay dos sin tres”?. Miren que ninguna maldición les caerá si no lo hacen, eh.
Samy quería ver la nueva peli de La Momia y bueh … la vimos.

Alguno de ustedes imaginó, alguna vez, que el ejército de terracota, esa obra escultórica magistral de la antigua China, en realidad fueran los soldados del emperador?. Si, ya se que representa a su ejército, digo que ERA su ejército de verdad, de carne y hueso, pero por una maldición quedaron así, formaditos y hechos cerámica … al igual que el Emperador, que era un verdadero hijo de P… y sus caballos, todo.

Añares más tarde, el hijo del matrimonio aventurero O’Connell, ahora grandecito, hace sus propios descubrimientos arqueológicos y se mete en líos al igual que sus padres, en las películas anteriores. Claro que hay algún que otro traidor (está en la segunda página de libro dorado de Hollywood de cómo hacer una peli de aventuras con muchos efectos para llenar una sala), claro que debe haber algún militar chino tarambana que desea revivir al emperador y su ejército …. sino, ¿cómo hacemos una peli de esto?.

¿Qué les puedo contar?, no vale la pena hacer un post largo por esto.
Nene encuentra tumba, nene es un tarado al mil x mil, tío es loco cagón (pero el único que de verdad te arranca alguna sonrisa), papá se hace el gracioso (pueden creer algo más patético que Brendan Fraser, en lo sprimeros minutos de la peli, haciendo taradeces como cuando hizo George de la Jungla, pero hoy, con 20 años más y sin gracia alguna?), … bueh … Emperador malo que despierta, chinita linda y enigmática que atrae a nene bobo; … y ta, papá, mamá, tío cagón, nene y chinita linda, todos detrás del emperador de cerámica que revive.

Y si, bruja buena, que le hizo mal al emperador malo, y emperador malo que es capaz de hacer acrobacias que vivo tarado no puede (claro, emperador malo es nada menos que Jet Li). Ah, y unas bestiitas de las nieves, que son malas, pero en verdad son buenas y que se mueven como generadas con mi vieja PC … maso.
Brendan Fraser vuelve a su papel de Richard ‘Rick’ O’Connell (es un buen actor que … no se.. seguro necesita laburar para alimentar su familia); John Hannah de nuevo como Jonathan Carnahan, el tío cagón y único que se manda alguna broma más o menos reidera; Maria Bello es la nueva Evelyn Carnahan-O’Connell (es que Rachel Weisz es inteligente y dijo “noooo, ni loca caigo en esa”; si recuerdan, hizo ese papel en las dos anteriores); como dije, Jet Li es el Emperador malito; Michelle Yeoh es la bruja buena Zi Yuan; Isabella Leong es la linda chinita Lin (lo más atractivo de la película) y Luke Ford es Alex O’Connell (el nene bobo y el peooooorrrr actor de los que he visto aparecer ultimamente. Después de ver como Shia LeBouf como el joven actor con más aptitudes, ver a este nabo me paspó).

Quando il terribile imperatore viene riportato in vita, il giovane Alex dovrà ricorrere all’aiuto dei suoi genitori, dello zio pasticcione (John Hannah) e di una misteriosa ragazza di Shangri- La (Isabella Leong) per sconfiggerlo prima che risvegli il suo esercito e che conquisti il mondo…

Terzo capitolo della fortunata serie dedicata alle avventure di Rick O’ Connell, interpretato da un Brendan Fraser in grande forma e molto richiesto, come dimostrano le numerose pellicole che lo vedono protagonista nell’ultimo periodo (basti pensare a The air I breathe e a Viaggio al centro della terra). Questa volta il nostro eroe si ritrova convolto nella lotta contro la mummia di un malvagio imperatore cinese (interpretato da un bravissimo Jet Li), a causa di suo figlio Alex, che, di nascosto dai suoi genitori, si trova in Cina per degli scavi. Inizialmente vediamo Rick ed Evelyn (interpretata da Maria Bello, che ha sostituito la Evelyn dei primi due capitoli, Rachel Weisz) che ormai hanno rinunciato all’avventura e alle missioni pericolose e che vivono un’esistenza tranquilla e “normale”, che tuttavia sta stretta ad entrambi. Accetteranno la missione orientale con grande entusiasmo.

Alex O’ Connell è davvero un bel personaggio: interpretato dal giovane Luke Ford, è un ricercatore appassionato e sempre in mezzo ai guai come suo padre, dal quale non si sente apprezzato e con il quale vive una sorta di “competizione” (molto bella la scena in cui i due discutono di armi). Evelyn cerca di mediare la situazione. In questa ennesima avventura non poteva mancare il mitico zio Jonathan, fratello di Evelyn, sempre alla ricerca di oggetti antichi e preziosi per scopi personali.

Brendan Fraser si dimostra ancora una volta perfetto nei panni di Rick O’Connell, avventuriero coraggioso ma anche marito e padre affettuoso e questa volta ha un antagonista d’eccezione: Jet Li, che interpreta splendidamente il ruolo del cattivo di turno. Il combattimento tra i due è davvero molto bello.

Inoltre, come nei due precedenti capitoli, grandi protagonisti sono gli effetti speciali e la computer grafica.

Cos’altro aggiungere? Sicuramente una buona pellicola, che non sfigura rispetto ai capitoli precedenti, con un ottimo cast e una storia incalzante.

Conclusione: Consigliato.

“A Múmia  – Tumba do Imperador Dragão” é um filme fraco, que não consegue manter a qualidade dos outros dois filmes da franquia.

No terceiro filme da série A Múmia, Rick O’Connell (Brendan Fraser) volta para salvar o mundo de mais uma múmia que voltou a vida. A história, desta vez, se passa na China, onde uma feiticeira trai o imperador, que queria alcançar a vida eterna, e lança uma maldição sobre ele e o seu exército, transformando-os em pedra. Sim, esta é a explicação do filme para os soldados de Terracota.

O filho de Rick, Alex, agora também um explorador e arqueólogo, é quem encontra a tumba do imperador transformado em pedra e, devido a alguns acidentes, envolvendo Rick e Evelyn (infelizmente não mais interpretada pela Rachel Weisz) o traz de volta a vida.

Mas o filme é muito fraco. Não consegue nem ser um filme divertido, nem mesmo quando aparece Jonathan (John Hannah), que, na minha opinião, era um dos melhores personagens dos filmes. O elenco principal parece não ter qualquer química entre eles, o que reflete no ritmo do filme. A parte oriental do elenco salva uma parte do filme: Jet Li se mostra muito bem como o imperador, apesar dos efeitos especiais fracos, Michelle Yeoh convence bem como a feiticeira Zi Juan. Quem se sai muito bem no filme também é Isabella Leong – me apaixonei por ela, hehehe – , interpretando Lin, uma ninja/guerreira/feiticeira (multiclass pouca é bobagem).

Os efeitos especiais do filme são ruins, principalmente na transformação do imperador em pedra e quando ele volta a vida. A batalha entre os mortos-vivos do bem e os mortos-vivos do mal deixa muito a desejar e o final, deixando um gancho no mínimo estranho para um próximo filme, é bem ruinzinho.

A Múmia – Tumba do Imperador Dragão é o pior filme, de longe, da trilogia e, muito provavelmente, deve deixar a franquia no limbo por muito tempo, se é que alguém ainda vai ter coragem de tentar fazer algum filme disso ainda.

I went to watch 3 movies recently: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, The Dark Knight (again), and Step Brothers. I think the Dark Knight was the best out of all of them; I give them 4.5 stars. But I already had a review on it loL.

Step Brothers was funny. They had some of the most random stuff in there, especially the end. 3 stars? But The Mummy was kind of disappointing. The storyline was just like what? It was based on a bunch of cheesy graphics and cheesy acting. But one positive? Isabella Leong. She played the role of the daughter to Michelle Yeoh. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought she was pretty. She’s a HK actress that came over to do a movie and can speak English. That’s sexy…like Zhang Ziyi if she can speak more English. I thought that she also played Sparrow in The Forbidden Kingdom, but apparently, it was someone else. I wasn’t the only one to make the mistake though!
