Muslim business leader: ‘This has hand of the divine written over it’

A new Islamic mosque will open its doors just steps from Ground Zero where Muslim terrorists murdered 2,751 people in the name of Allah on Sept. 11, 2001 – and its leading imam, who conducts sensitivity training sessions for the FBI, has reportedly blamed Christians for starting mass attacks on civilians.

The five-story building at Park Place, just two blocks north of the former World Trade Center site, was the site of a Burlington Coat Factory. But a plane’s landing-gear assembly crashed through the roof on the day 19 Muslim terrorists hijacked the airliners and flew them into the Twin Towers in 2001.

Now Muslim worshippers currently occupy the building, and they plan to turn it into a major Islamic cultural center.

“The men and women stand up, raise their hands on either side of their head, murmur ‘Allahu akhbar,’ bow and kneel again,” reports Spiegel Online.

“Only in New York City is this possible,” Daisy Khan, executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, or ASMA, told the magazine. Khan is the wife of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, founder of ASMA.

They have leased the new prayer space as an overflow building for another mosque, Masjid al-Farah, at 245 West Broadway in TriBeCa, where Rauf is the spiritual leader.

The building – vacant since that fateful day when time stood still as millions of Americans grieved the loss of loved ones, friends, family members, co-workers and strangers – was purchased in July by real-estate company Soho Properties, a business run by Muslims. Rauf was an investor in that transaction.

Just down the street, the Museum of Jewish Heritage honors victims of the Holocaust, and St. Peter’s Church, New York’s oldest Catholic house of worship, is located around the corner.

Rauf has announced his plans to turn the building into a complete Islamic cultural center, with a mosque, a museum, “merchandising options,” and room for seminars to reconcile religions, “to counteract the backlash against Muslims in general, ” Speigel reports. The project may cost as much as $150 million.

Rauf told the New York Times purchasing the building “where a piece of the wreckage fell sends the opposite statement to what happened on 9/11.”

“It was almost obvious that something like this had to arise from the ashes of 9/11,” Khan told Spiegel. “In some way, this has the hand of the divine written over it. It’s almost as if God wanted to be involved.”

The move is supported by the city. The mayor’s director of the Office of Immigrant Affairs, Fatima Shama, told the Times, “We as New York Muslims have as much of a commitment to rebuilding New York as anybody.”

The city’s Department of Buildings records show the building has been the focus of complaints for illegal construction and blocked exits in the last year. Recent entries from Sept. 28 and 29, 2009, indicate inspectors have been unable to access the building. One complaint states, “Inspector unable to gain access – 1st attempt – No access to 5 sty building. Front locked. No responsible party present.” The second, just a day later, states, “Inspector unable to gain access – 2nd attempt – no access to building. No activity or responsible party. Building remains inaccessible at Park Place.”

Agency spokeswoman Carly Sullivan told the Times the complaints were listed as “resolved” under city procedures since the inspectors were unable to gain access.

Imam Rauf, born in Egypt, has written three books: “What’s Right with Islam: A New Vision for Muslims and the West,” “Islam: A Sacred Law” and “Islam: A Search for Meaning.”

WND reported in 2003 when, at least four times that year, the FBI’s New York field office held all-day sensitivity training sessions, not far from Ground Zero, featuring Rauf.

Speaking for about two hours each session, “he gave an overview of Islamic culture and some of the differences between what fundamentalist terrorist groups say are the teachings of the Quran and what he believes, as a student of religion, the Quran actually says,” said special agent James Margolin, spokesman for the FBI New York office.

Rauf asserted that the Quran “certainly doesn’t counsel terrorism, murder or mayhem,” Margolin said. And he said terrorists have misinterpreted the Quranic term “jihad” to mean violent, or armed, struggle against nonbelievers. Rauf claims it means internal struggle.

Rauf was invited to speak in Sydney, Australia, by Premier Bob Carr in 2004. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, he said the U.S. and the West must acknowledge the harm they’ve done to Muslims before terrorism can end.

He said the West must understand the terrorists’ point of view – and he blamed Christians for starting mass attacks on civilians.

“The Islamic method of waging war is not to kill innocent civilians. But it was Christians in World War II who bombed civilians in Dresden and Hiroshima, neither of which were military targets,” he said.

According to the report, Rauf said there would be little progress until the U.S. acknowledged backing dictators and the U.S. president gave an “America Culpa” speech to the Muslim world.

On June 4, 2009, President Obama gave a speech to the Muslim world from Cairo, in which he stated:

I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings. … So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

Rauf praised Obama for “embracing Islam in the peacemaking process” in his speech to the Muslim world. He wrote in the Washington Post:

The historic significance of President Obama’s speech to the Muslim world in Cairo cannot be overstated. Never before has an American president spoken to the global Muslim community. His speech marked a major shift in American foreign policy. … In just a few sentences he demolished the phony theory of the ‘Clash of Civilizations,’ which insists that Islam and the West must always be in conflict. Instead, he declared the United States is not at war with Islam and outlined a plan for how the conflict can be resolved. … He captured the attention of Muslims because, unlike most politicians, he was willing to critique both his own country and Muslims where they fell short of their ideals.

In an interview with Beliefnet on Islam and America, a reporter asked Rauf, “Some Islamic charities are being investigated for terrorist ties. Have you seen what you consider to be reputable Islamic charities being financially damaged?”

“We believe that a certain portion of every charity has been legitimate,” he responded. “To say that you have connections with terrorism is a very gray area. It’s like the accusation that Saddam Hussein had links to Osama bin Laden. Well, America had links to Osama bin Laden – does that mean that America is a terrorist country or has ties to terrorism?”

In 2004, Rauf participated in a 30-second advertisement, broadcast on Arabic television, in which he apologized for alleged abuses at Abu Ghraib prison.

The Times reported Rauf said he believes “Islamic terrorists do not come from another moral universe – that they arise from oppressive societies that he feels Washington had a hand in creating.”

Readers of various blogs are outraged at the news of the mosque. Comments include the following:

• Muslims are doing this only to see if they get away with it. It’s the way Islam spreads in every country these days, like a cancer – through incremental totalitarianism. In this case, they’ll quietly open the mosque, then, as they get away with it, they’ll ramp up their outrages until someone finally points it out. At that time, their lawyers, backed by the ACLU and various liberal organizations, will pounce.

• This is not different than allowing the Nazis to establish their headquarters and propaganda office in NYC in 1938. How come people could tell right from wrong then and not now?

• What bonehead allowed this to happen?

• That’s disgusting. That truly is low. I feel bad for the people who lost family members.

• This is outrageous. I just don’t have word. 

• This is called “staging” for the KSM trial.

• You’ve got to be kidding me. If this is true, our beloved country is already gone. We no longer have the America I know and love.

• Who wants to bet this place becomes a “tourist attraction” for Muslims? This mosque will become one of Islam’s holiest shrines as it sits upon the site of their greatest modern military victory.

• Good idea. Maybe terrorists will be less likely to bomb this area if there’s a mosque there.

The wife of Al-Qaeda’s second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has appealed to Muslim women not to join the jihad themselves but to support their menfolk in holy war, US monitoring groups said on Thursday.

In a letter released by Al-Qaeda’s media arm As-Sahab entitled “A Message to the Muslim Sisters,” Omayma Hassan Ahmed Mohammed Hassan also called on the female faithful to resist Western pressure to shun the hijab, or headscarf, the monitors said.

Well what did you expect? What could Al-Zawahiri have said IF she said she thinks otherwise?

As we near the end of 2009, The Jerusalem Post is reporting that by its conclusion, more than 165,000 Christians, mostly in Muslim nations, will have been killed because of their faith. The same human rights organization reporting these findings also says that for every three minutes in the Muslim world, a Christian is being tortured.

Revereand Majed El Shafie, of One Free World International, says that of the 200-300 million Christians suffering persecution worldwide, 80% of them are in Muslim countries, and most of the other 20% are in communist nations.

President Obama and President Bush have both refused to call the Islamic religion for what it is–a religion of terror. Are there good Muslims who don’t commit these acts? Yes, of course. But when’s the last time you feared that someone wearing a cross might hijack a plane and crash it into a building? When’s the last time a mass murder was carried out at an army base in the name of Jesus, by some made man shouting “Yeshua Akbar!” The fact is, there is a highly disproportionate number of violent Muslims as opposed to any other religion, but political correctness shields Islam from such criticism; it certainly doesn’t get nearly the amount of criticism from “enlightened” liberals that Christianity does.

A "peaceful" group of Muslims demonstrate their tolerance. Apparently, they aren't as fond of liberals as liberals are of them.

But Islam is far more violent because its holy book, the Qur’an, instructs it to be so. I’m going to provide you here with some nifty passages from the Qur’an that you won’t find in your good ole 1611 King James Bible.

“And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah.” (Qur’an 8:39)

‘The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”‘ (Bukhari 52:177)

“Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority.” (Qur’an 3:151)

Hence why we call them “terrorists.” The above passages serve to illustrate how tolerant Islam isn’t of other religions. Regardless of what any politically correct politician will tell you, whether he or she be a Democrat or Republican, Islam is a religion that by its very nature scoffs at the idea of tolerance and peace.

“Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’” (Ibn Ishaq 327)

“Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion” — that, ladies and gentleman, is all you ever need to know about Islam to understand why it is so much more violent than any other religion.

“Fight everyone in the way of Allah and kill those who disbelieve in Allah.” (Ibn Ishaq 992)

“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” (Qur’an 8:12)

Contrast that last passage with this passage from the 1 John 4:18 in your King James: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” So one religion’s Holy Book promotes fear and torment, and the other discourages it.

And yet “the enlightened ones” — the self proclaimed “liberals,” or “progressives” (who are really neither liberal nor progressive) — think that it’s Christianity that is the religion of bigotry, hatred, and intolerance, whilst Islam is a religion of peace, open mindedness, and diversity. Give me a break.

This is who we’re fighting–this twisted, hateful, fear mongering religion that will stop at nothing as its seeks world domination. I am not afraid to proclaim the truth. I re-iterate, there are good, peaceful Muslim people who are Muslims only because of culture, but they are not truly following their religion either. I’m not inciting violence or hatred against Muslims, but I am saying that Islam–the religion itself–is twisted and evil, and the sooner we’ll admit that, the better off we’ll be.

The enemy we fight is an enemy that follows this religion. It is not afraid of death, and it does not bow down to political correctness and diplomacy.

Even in the United States, citizens kill in the name of Allah. In fact, there have been six honor killings in the United States in the past two years alone. The most recent of these killings came when a beautiful 20-year-old woman from Iraq, Noor Faleh Almaleki, died in an Arizona hospital in early November, two weeks after her father ran her and a friend over in a parking lot in the Phoenix suburb of Peoria.

Peoria police said Faleh Hassan Almaleki believed his daughter had become “too Westernized” and had abandoned “traditional” Iraqi values. Peoria police spokesman Mike Tellef told CNN the family moved to the Phoenix area in the mid-1990s, and Almaleki was unhappy with his daughter’s style of dress and her resistance to his rules.

The moral of the story? Don’t become Westernized, and don’t become Christian; follow Allah only and Allah will not have you killed.

Jesus was really onto something when he said thus:

“Yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.” (John 16:2-4)

Once again, Obama’s approval ratings have hit a new low. After hitting an-time low approval index rating of -16 yesterday, he is at -19 today. Unfortunately, his lowered approval rating is caused by Democrats, not Republicans.

This follows in the wake of his announcement of an Afghanistan troop surge and a Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech this past week that sounded more like a war justifying Bush speech than anything. One of the most shocking parts of his speech came when he made the following Bush-esque statement:

For make no mistake: evil does exist in the world. A non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler’s armies. Negotiations cannot convince al Qaeda’s leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism – it is a recognition of history; the imperfections of man and the limits of reason.

The fact that Obama used the word evil to describe the enemy is astounding. This is coming from a man who, for much of the first half of his first year as President, went around the world on what has infamously become known as his “apology tour”, apologizing for American acts of war and dismissing the notion that those we fight against are “evil.” His entire campaign, in fact, was spent deriding Bush’s insistence that there is evil in the world, and instead saying that if we could all just sit down and talk to one another (perhaps over beers) we could avoid war, sing kum-bah-yah, and have world peace. Early on, the Obama administration even directed officials to stop using such inflammatory phrases as “war on terror” in favor of such less-fiery language as “overseas contingency operation.”

Not anymore. Something has dramatically changed about the President’s entire thought process over the past few months. He is now sounding like Bush. Watch this video comparing the way the two speak about war to see for yourself:

I would like to applaud the President for being bold enough to point out that a  ”non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler’s armies. Negotiations cannot convince al Qaeda’s leaders to lay down their arms.” –all in the face of  the Nobel Committee. Hallelujah! It’s about time. Considering the fact that you, Mr. President, once insisted that we could create peace by negotiating with the enemy, are now admitting that that is a fool’s pipe dream, is a great sign.

While his speech was a slap in the face to his anti-war electorate and the Nobel Committee in Oslo, which is surely second thinking its decision to award the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize to Obama so quickly (I love it!), many Republicans have praised him for it.

In an interview with USA Today, Sarah Palin spoke out about the President’s speech:

In the interview, Palin praised President Obama for the speech he gave Thursday to accept the Nobel Peace Prize. She said the president’s defense of war to combat evil could have been taken from the pages of her memoirs.

“Wow, that really sounded familiar,” said Palin, a frequent Obama critic. “I talked, too, in my book about the fallen nature of man and why war is necessary at times.”

This hasn’t gone over well with his liberal base, as you can imagine. Writers and commenters at the ultra liberal site, The Huffington Post, are livid. A few examples of some of the comments:

Obama just may get re-elected with the help of his conservative base. There is no need to get a front runner for the republican party when you already own the white house.

The fact that conservatives are happy with Obama makes me unhappy. This is not the man who ran for president.

Let’s face the truth – we (progressives, liberals) were duped. We not only did NOT get change we could believe it, we got a continuation of Bush’s policies … I worked for him, walked door to door, gave money and bought into the whole thing. I won’t be voting for him again.

Those democrats who support the Obama Doctrine are delusional if they don’t see it as substantially a continuation of Bush/Cheney policies.

What, don’t like the hope and change you voted for?

It’s an interesting day when conservatives like Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and Karl Rove are all praising President Obama for something. Meanwhile, Democrats and liberals are running away, rueing the day they voted for him. And I love every minute of it. Serves them right for electing a man they knew nothing about other than “He’s not Bush!”

Early in the month, I wrote an article criticizing Obama for his 9/11 trials decision (a decision which I am still extremely angry about), and I accused him of not wanting to take up the role as Commander-in-Chief:

While Islamic radicals are engaged in a holy war against America, Western society, and our values of freedom, diversity, and respect for human life, Obama is treating them as mere rogue criminals whose crimes should be punished in federal court. While thousands of families and friends continue to remember the atrocious acts of war that claimed the innocent lives of their loved ones, our President fails to acknowledge the truth of the enemy we all face. While our soldiers are dying daily in a war for our way of life, with no illusion as to why they fight and die, Obama cannot understand why they fight nor what they fight for as he refuses to be the Commander-in-Chief of a nation at war.

Now, however, President Obama seems to be on the right track. It seems that he has finally left the campaign trail, and now that he’s facing the reality of the job, he is realizing that his romanticized ideals just aren’t feasible as his naivety ebbs away. While I still don’t think he deserved to nor was he ready to be President, and still agree with Hillary Clinton’s 2008 comment that the White House is no place for “on the job training,” Obama is the President now, and if he is willing to move past his prior naivety and be the Commander and Chief, I will support him on that front.

I will still fight against his socialistic policies, like Obamacare, and his out of control spending and irresponsible fiscal policies, but I will support his foreign policy if he is truly ready to lead, stop apologizing for America, and stop going out of his way not to offend evil people who want nothing more than to blow us all to kingdom-come. Hopefully, he will also realize how wrong he is on the 9/11 civilian trials and reverse the decision.

New York Terrorist Trials Present New Dangers to U.S.

The decision of the Obama administration to send five 9/11 conspirators to New York City to stand trial in a civilian court just blocks from the final resting place of more than 2,700 U.S. citizens further highlights that the current president of the United States does not recognize that we are a nation at war.

Of the five conspirators being brought to New York, the most infamous is Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, the mastermind and, according to the 9/11 Commission Report, “the principal architect of the 9/11 attacks.” He also claims responsibility for the 2002 beheading of American journalist Daniel Pearl, having confessed to a U.S. military tribunal that he “decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl.”

Mohammad and the other four had been held under the Bush administration at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, where they were to be tried in military tribunals as war criminals. Now, under Obama, these “alleged” terrorists will be given the same legal process with the same rights and privileges as any American citizen would for a common crime–by the same justice system that let “alleged” murderer O.J. Simpson go free.

Of all the bad policy decisions Obama has made since January 2009, this is the most outrageous. It is a slap in the face to every soldier who has fought or died in this war, every New York citizen, and most importantly, every family who has lost a loved one in the war waged against the United States and Western society. Indeed, many 9/11 families and others have expressed intense anger over this decision.

Daniel Pearl’s family was especially grieved and shocked. Expressing that he was sick to his stomach by the news, Pearl’s father went on to say that he didn’t “want to hear every morning what [Mohammad] did . . . Danny was killed once. Now he will be killed ten times a day. Leave him alone.”

That brings to light one of the greatest travesties of this decision: Mohammad will get exactly what he wants. The media circus that will be sure to follow these trials will give him the exposure he so craves, ensuring him public martyrdom for the cause of holy Jihad. He will have a pulpit to spew his anti-American venom, in which he will mock the victims in the face of their families and proudly boast of his actions.

Not only that, but he and his defense team are sure to turn the trial around into a trial against the Bush administration’s interrogation tactics. A key part of Obama’s presidential campaign was to accuse the Bush administration of torturing terrorists at Guantanamo. These interrogations, which included water boarding Mohammad, extracted information which helped prevent terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, such as the planned crashing of a hijacked airliner into a building in Los Angeles. Still, it is certain that part of Mohammad’s defense will include allegations of torture.

The legal wrangling will be exhaustive. Because the Bush administration treated the five as war prisoners, rights that a citizen would have were not given to these “alleged” terrorists. Now that they are being tried as civilian criminals, there is ample room for treasonous, money hungry defense attorneys to argue that the evidence collected by the military against them be inadmissible and that they be excused because “their rights” were violated.

Most dangerous of all, this move will make New York City an even greater target for acts of terrorism than it already is. Millions of tax payer dollars will have to be spent protecting the victim’s families, the jurors, the judges, and anyone else involved in this trial, including–yes–the terrorists themselves. Killing anyone involved in the prosecution of this crime would be one of the most emboldening acts since 9/11 to those who hate America.

The most infuriating element at play are the political motivations behind this; Obama is so intent on proving to the world that he is “not like Bush” that he is willing to revert to a pre-9/11, pre-war mindset in order to give these barbarians a “fair trial,” endangering thousands of citizens and causing emotional grief to thousands of families all at once in the name of politics. He has discarded the term “war on terror” in exchange for “overseas contingency operation,” and refuses to acknowledge the Fort Hood massacre as another act of Islamic terrorism. Not only are these actions astonishingly callous, but they are cowardly.

While Islamic radicals are engaged in a holy war against America, Western society, and our values of freedom, diversity, and respect for human life, Obama is treating them as mere rogue criminals whose crimes should be punished in federal court. While thousands of families and friends continue to remember the atrocious acts of war that claimed the innocent lives of their loved ones, our President fails to acknowledge the truth of the enemy we all face. While our soldiers are dying daily in a war for our way of life, with no illusion as to why they fight and die, Obama cannot understand why they fight nor what they fight for as he refuses to be the Commander-in-Chief of a nation at war.

JENIN, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up seven Palestinians in Yamon village, Jenin district, at dawn Sunday including four brothers then released three of them and took away the others, locals reported.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF soldiers advanced into the village from various axes shortly after midnight Saturday amidst intensified firing of live bullets and sonic bombs.

They added that the soldiers then stormed citizens’ homes especially those near to the Islamic Jihad leader Bajes Hamdia, who was the main target of the raid.

The soldiers occupied the rooftops of the houses near to Hamdia’s and detained their inhabitants inside before sneaking into Hamdia’s home but could not arrest him, the witnesses said.

They pointed out that the soldiers hysterically assaulted all those in the home after they found out that Hamdia was not there.

The soldiers detained Hamdia’s four brothers before releasing three of them and taking the fourth to an unknown location.

The soldiers also arrested three Islamic Jihad activists in the village.

Jihad sources said on Sunday morning that Hamdia had survived several IOF assassination attempts, and added that the IOF soldiers had recently intensified their search of the leader.

OMG, hearing the Iranians wax eloquent about human rights is a joke, isn’t it?

Manouchehr Mottaki spoke on the phone with his Swiss counterpart Micheline Calmy-Rey. Switzerland and Iran generally have good relations. The Swiss serve as Washington’s representative in the Iranian capital in the absence of formal relations between America and the Islamic Republic, giving them exalted status in Tehran’s diplomatic circles.

But Mottaki had harsh words for Switzerland, saying enforcement of the ban on new minarets was “against the prestige of a country which claims to be an advocate of democracy and human rights” and would “damage Switzerland’s image as a pioneer of respecting human rights among Muslims’ public opinion,” according to a report by the official Islamic Republic News Agency, or IRNA.

“Values such as tolerance, dialogue and respecting others’ religions(Ed. Note: Don’t make me laugh – you mean like Iran respects and tolerates religions other than Islam?) should never be put to referendum,” Mottaki told his Swiss counterpart. He expressed hope that Bern would soon “take necessary steps and find a constitutional way to prevent imposition of the ban.”

An Iranian cleric today also condemned the minaret ban. Ayatollah Hossein Nouri-Hamadani, said the move was “at odds with the protection of Muslim citizens’ civil rights and will hurt the feelings of Muslims across the world,” according to Iran’s state television. (Ed. note: Oh noes! Muslims itty bitty feelings are hurt!)

Calmy-Rey told Mottaki her government would “use all its means to support Muslims rights,” according to IRNA.

In a recent interview with CNSNews.com, Conrad stated his belief that our nation’s civilian court system is well-suited for the prosecution of Al-Qaeda terrorists and that “if people don’t believe in our system, maybe they ought to go somewhere else.”

The sheer stupidity of such a remark is nearly unfathomable.  The possessor of a mind so incapable of analyzing the issues generated by a civilian court venue for Khalid Sheik Mohammed et al is equally incapable of sound decision-making and has no business in public office.  Conrad has, judging from his above remarks, completely missed the point of well-made arguments against bringing KSM and others of his ilk into U. S. civilian courts.  None of those arguments are remotely related to a disbelief “in our system”.  I submit that it is Sen. Conrad who “ought to go somewhere else”, preferably sooner rather than later via any road leading directly out of Washington.

At the heart of the KSM trial debacle is a simple truth that continues to be largely ignored: 

Foreign national terrorist operatives have no entitlement to U. S. Constitution rights. 

Our Constitution was written by citizens for citizens as stated in its Preamble:  “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence [sic], promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”  There is no ambiguity in this verbiage.

Framers of America’s founding documents made abundantly clear their intent to endow citizens of our Republic with the liberty, rights and privileges contained in its Constitution and subsequent Bill of Rights, and defined those citizens in Amendment XIV:  “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside…”.  No ambiguity exists here either.

Constitutional issues notwithstanding, other items of grave concern are (1) the potential threat to our national security created by the presence of this high-profile Al-Qaeda operative on U. S. soil, (2) the carte blanche global propaganda platform so gratuitously provided to KSM, and (3) the indiscriminate dissemination of intelligence-sensitive information and materials.  Of no less concern is the bona fide angst of 9/11 families as they contemplate and ultimately witness the circus certain to accompany the confessed murderer of their respective loved ones into a New York Court of Law.  To present those families with theatrics in place of deliberate no-nonsense proceedings and call that justice is unconscionable.

As previously noted, the issues surrounding this trial are not a judicial system critique.  Rather, they reflect a collective citizen knowledge and insight that recognizes the inherent pitfalls and absolute folly of this ideology-driven exercise.  Apparently Kent Conrad didn’t get the memo.

Suspects sought in Russian train bombing.

And can you believe one of them is a former Caucacus soldier who “defected to a group of Islamic terrorists”? (Paging Major Nidal Malik Hasan.) Hard to feature, I know. /s

Russian police investigators said Monday they had located the hideout of four persons suspected in the train bombing- derailment at the weekend which killed 26 persons and injured 100.

A police spokesman was cited by the Interfax agency as saying a hideout had been found in a village not far from the scene and that in an attic the traces of four suspects had been discovered. The hunt for the four was now underway with the help of phantom pictures, the spokesman said, in developments three days after the late-night derailment of the Nevsky Express train on the busy St. Petersburg-Moscow line.

Moscow media, citing investigators, reported that the chief suspect being sought was a former soldier from the northern Caucasus region who had defected to a group of Islamic terrorists.

The business daily Kommersant cited an unidentified police source as saying authorities suspect the latest bombing involved the same criminal group linked to an almost identical attack on the same track in 2007. The 2007 attack injured dozens in the train that passed over an explosive device; the motive went unexplained.

Two suspects in the 2007 blast were detained but a third, Pavel Kosolapov, a former military officer believed to have links to Chechen separatists, remains a fugitive.

“According to preliminary information, four people lived in this house for some days before the attack. The DNA of four people has been found, one of which is the DNA of a woman. We have reason to think that these people are linked to the attack,” the source said.

Suicide Bombing

Al-Nisa (The Women) Sura 4: Verse 29 (Partial)

“… And kill yourselves not, for God is truly Merciful to you.”

People who are driven to despair are thus reminded to have faith in God’s mercy in the hope that they may be relieved of their suffering. Since suicide is prohibited, anyone who tries to facilitate it, or acts as an accomplice, is also liable to a deterrent punishment that may be quantified by the court while taking into consideration the material circumstances of the case. Commentators have, moreover, drawn a five-point conclusion from this verse as follows:

1. the obvious meaning is that suicide is forbidden;

2. the text also stipulates that ‘you may not kill one another’ nor facilitate suicide;

3. one may not undertake a task which is likely to cause his own death, even if it be in lieu of a religious obligation;

4. no one should deprive himself of the necessities of life to the point of self-destruction; and

5. the text covers cases of self-destruction regardless of the manner in which it is done.

The manuals of Islamic law are silent on the issue of suicide bombing, a disturbing phenomenon of our time that became frequent in connection with Israeli-Palestinian conflict, especially when Israel unleashed a new wave of aggression on the street processions of unarmed Palestinian youth in 2000-1. The aftermath of 11 September 2001 and more recently the horrendous violence in Iraq and Afghanistan, added new dimensions to the incidence of suicide bombing among Muslims.

Suicide bombing in the name of Islam is a ’sociopolitical phenomenon, not a theological one’. And any long-term solution to the problem must also address the causes that have brought so much pain and hopelessness to many Muslim societies.

It would be simplistic to lump the Palestinian suicide bombing with Al-Qaedah terrorist activities. One can hardly deny the genuine suffering of the Palestinian people and legitimacy of their struggle against sustained Israeli brutalities. It would appear equally simplistic, however, to equate suicide bombing with martyrdom and jihad. This is because suicide bombing contravenes two fundamental principles of Islam: prohibition against suicide, and deliberate killing of non-combatants. The argument that proceeds over reciprocity and retaliation is also flawed by the involvement of innocent non-combatants in suicide bombing.

Those who have raised the issue of ‘collateral damage’ in this context have also exaggerated their case, simply because non-combatants are chosen as the direct target of suicide bombing. They are, as such, neither collateral nor incidental.

The Muslim fighter who is motivated by the spirit of jihad enters the battle, not with the intention of dying, but with the conviction that if he should die, it would be for reasons beyond his control. Martyrdom in Islam does not begin with suicidal intention, let alone the linkage of that intention with the killing of non-combatants.

To justify suicide bombing under the banner of retaliation, or as a form of jihad, is therefore questionable, simply because it begins on an erroneous note, which goes against the essence both of just retaliation and justified jihad.

On September 11, 2001 this nation suffered the worst act of terrorist aggression ever to be perpetrated on American soil.  On September 19th of that same year, remarks by Barack Obama were published in the Hyde Park Herald.  Following is an excerpt:  “The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers.  Such a failure of empathy … most often grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.”  Translation:  3000 of our people died because the Islamic jihadists who killed them just couldn’t help themselves.  They were poor, ignorant, helpless, and riddled with despair.   

In the fall of 2008 I wrote that (1) such a conclusion would be laughable had it not been reached by a person who, at that time, was actively campaigning for the presidency, and (2) that any candidate so incapable of discerning the true nature of avowed enemies of the United States was not fit to be Commander-In-Chief of our Armed Forces.  

Today we are witnessing the disasterous results of installing such a person in the Oval Office.  Field Commanders are still waiting for what they need to help ensure decisive victories for our men and women on the front lines of conflict … but foreign national terrorist operatives have already received  U. S. citizen rights enumerated in Amendment VI of our Constitution. 

At this writing, Obama remains noticeably inactive in support of our Armed Forces and noticeably proactive in support of Muslim terrorists.  Never mind that lives and missions are at stake.  Never mind that KSM and others like him are entitled to nothing.  Never mind that the last thing 9/11 families and the people-at-large want is KSM et al on American soil.  Never mind that my (and your) Constitutionally-guaranteed rights and liberties are not negotiable commodities.  Obama’s current mindset seems to mirror his 2001 mindset which, back then, was inconsequential due to lack of power.   Today, that mindset is deadly for (1) our national security, (2) our Armed Forces, and (3) our Constitutional rights and liberties.  Nevertheless, Obama continues to methodically work his way down the Radical Left Socialist Agenda set forth by benefactor George Soros, which includes “defending the civil rights and liberties of suspected anti-American terrorists and their abettors”.  The full agenda is at the link below and provides the playbill for Oval Office and Congressional action:

You’ll note that several of the items have either already been carried out or are currently in process.  There can be no doubt that the allegiance of Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the 70-member-plus Progressive Caucus lies with George Soros, not our country or its people.  Understand and know that each and every member of Congress that supports Progressive Democrat initiatives in any way ultimately supports this agenda.  It’s as simple as that.

Is Obama selling us down the river?  Yes.  Is Pelosi selling us down the river?  Yes.  Is Reid selling us down the river?  Yes.  Why?  For the same reason that self-confessed mass murderer KSM has been given non-existent rights and Gen. Stan McChrystal has been given nothing …  it’s what George wants.
