Para melhorar o desempenho dos alunos norte-americanos e estimular o progresso das áreas de Ciências, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matemática (STEM), Barack Obama convocou grandes editoras de games e instituições ligadas à indústria do entretenimento para integrar o programa “Educar para Inovar”. Obama divulgou, nesta segunda-feira, que o investimento será de US$ 4,35 bilhões. Mas segundo a revista Wired,  a parceria com empresas privadas pode adicionar ao fundo cerca de US$ 260 milhões.

Reconhecendo o poder pedagógico dos jogos eletrônicos para crianças e adolescentes, empresas como a Sony, Entertainment Software Association (ESA) e Fundação MacArthur se uniram ao governo para lançar uma série de ações competitivas na área de design para games.

Dois concursos nacionais serão implementados em 2010:

• O Game Changers compõe a próxima edição do Digital Media and Learning Competition, da Fundação MacArthur, que já vem aplicando ações inovadoras no processo de aprendizado, ao utilizar jogos eletrônicos, redes sociais e celulares. A Sony e a Fundação MacArthur, em parceria com a ESA e ITI, apoiam a competição que consiste na criação de um novo jogo, baseado nos princípios do STEM, que utilizará as ferramentas colaborativas do game LittleBigPlanet. Além disso, a Sony doará mil PlayStations 3 e cópias do seu título, para  bibliotecas e organizações comunitárias de locais com baixa renda.

“Na educação de hoje, as crianças desenvolvem talentos ao  jogar videogame. Resolução de problemas, pensamento estratégico e  flexibilidade são os tipos de habilidades que  os adultos vão precisar para ter sucesso no século XXI”, comenta Dean Garfield, presidente e CEO do Conselho de Tecnologia da Informação (ITI).

• Novamente juntas, a ITI e ESA lançam o STEM National Videogame Competition, em parceria com Joan Ganz Cooney Center de Sesame Workshop, Games for Change e E-Line Ventures. O objetivo é desafiar crianças e adolescentes no desenvolvimento de ideias para jogos baseados em navegação de sites e com abordagem nas áreas de Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matemática. Os vencedores recebem US$ 300 mil e seus jogos serão utilizados nas salas de aula.  O anúncio sobre a competição acontecerá no início de 2010, com a apresentação das regras e procedimentos de inscrição. Os vencedores serão anunciados na exposição E3 2010, em junho. Outras quatro parcerias foram anunciadas, entre elas, com a Warner, Discovery e Vila Sésamo.

W Internecie rozpoczęła się nietypowa kampania reklamowa platformy cyfrowej ‘n’ – wszystko pod enigmatycznym hasłem “Czego boją się stare platformy?”.

Na stronie czegosieboja.pl, uruchomionej na potrzeby kampanii można jak  na razie można przeczytać jedynie: “Czego się boją stare platformy? Dowiesz się już wkrótce”. W ramach działań marketingowych w Internecie zamieszczono też blisko minutowy filmik z rozmową dwóch starszych kobiet, ubranych w barwy konkurencji ‘n’-ki, Cyfrę+ i Cyfrowy Polsat, które siedząc na ławce w parku komentują i krytykują wszystko wokół. Pod koniec pojawia się młody mężczyzna w niebieskim szaliku (w kolorze platformy ‘n’), którego bohaterki wyraźnie się boją.

- Kampania ma na celu pokazanie, czym różnimy się od konkurentów. W Internecie możemy promować się odważniej i z dowcipem. Szczegółów nie chce jeszcze zdradzić. Wszystko wyjaśni się w przyszłym tygodniu – mówi Olga Korolec, wiceprezes ITI Neovision ds. komunikacji i marketingu.

La crisis actual nos está ofreciendo cierta ansiedad hacia la innovación, y la propia presión de innovar, hace que fluyamos menos hacia la creatividad que realmente necesitamos para salir de la crisis. Este mediodía, he compartido mesa con mis compañeros ITI, Eva y Ainhoa a la cabeza, en la compañía de Iván y Patri. Los cinco hemos disfrutado el doble de la conversación y compañía, que de la comida de un restaurante con una estrella Michelín.
Entre otras cuestiones, hemos destacado la educación y compromiso necesario para subsistir en una sociedad orientada al servicio. Es cierto, hay mucha gente que vive del cuento, que tiene un mensaje fijo y en lugar de adecuarlo hacia sus clientes, son los clientes los que tiene que adecuarse a su mensaje. Esto funciona, pero desde mi punto de vista, aporta menos valor y sobre todo tiene menos impacto que algo personalizado.
Ahí es donde se diferencian los verdaderos productos orientados al servicio, en adecuarse al que lo recibe, en lugar de adecuar al servido hacia el mensaje a transmitir. Todo esto, unido al compromiso de mantener una relación cordial y dentro de los principios de educación y convivencia básicos, conducen a un éxito seguro. Estos principios no son otros que puntualidad, transparencia, veracidad, ética, y similares.
En definitiva, ser educado y adecuarse a tus clientes, resulta ya de por sí algo inovador que pocos hacen. No desaprovechemos la oportunidad de innovar pues en esta línea. Para el emprededor, resulta básico este concepto de innovación diaria y orientada al servicio.

In urma cu cateva luni mi-a fost recomandat un joc de catre un cretin drag. HighGrow. Dupa cum ii spune si numele, este un joc in care cresti plante de canabis in timp real, din pacate doar timpul este real . Ideea acestui joc este foarte buna pentru ca te invata ce si cum sa faci pentru a avea o planta sanatoasa, muguri cu continut ridicat de thc si cantitate mare.

Jocul pune la dispozitie 3 camere, fiecare avand 3 ghivece. Initial poti avea maxim 3 seminte. In cazul luminii poti alege intre diferite lampi, lumina rosie sau alba si de asemenea intensitatea luminii. Exista de asemenea o gama variata de soluri. Poti opta intre diverse ghivece, iar Rasta Robbie este mereu acolo cand ai nevoie de un sfat.

Diferite grafice iti arata in ce stadiu sunt plantutele tale, la ce nivel de thc au ajuns, cat de inalte sunt, la ce greutate au ajuns, gradul de umezeala al solului si cat de sanatoase sunt.

Este un joc, nu neaparat interesant, interactiv, cat placut, mai ales ca jocul te imbie cu o frumoasa muzica reggae.

Tylko chwilę o mojej ulubionej gazecie “Futbol News”.

W czwartek wszystkie gazety poinformowały, że selekcjonerem zostanie Franz Smuda. Tylko Futbol News poinformował, że będzie to Henryk Kasperczak. W dniu nominacji Smudy!!!

Dlatego wczoraj zastanawialiśmy się z chłopakami, co wymyślą. Spodobała mi się opcja jednego z kolegów, który zaproponował, że w grudniu po wielkim przewrocie w PZPN kadrę obejmą nowe władze, zaś Smudę z tronu strąci Jerzy Engel. A więc prześcigaliśmy się (powiedzmy, może trochę demonizuję) w tych fantastycznych pomysłach mając świadomość, że jeden z nas może trafić.

Dzisiaj czytam na www.wp.pl, że… no właśnie nie uwierzycie, więc wklejam tę informację:

Szokujące informacje w sprawie wyboru nowego selekcjonera reprezentacji Polski przynosi poniedziałkowe wydanie dziennika “Futbol News”. “FN” sugeruje, że PZPN wykiwał Henryka Kasperczaka, który już przyjmował gratulacje z okazji otrzymania posady.

Tuż przed ogłoszeniem decyzji o wyborze nowego selekcjonera prasa – na czele z “FN” – informowała, że Kasperczak wyprzedził Smudę w wyścigu o fotel selekcjonera.

Zdaniem “FN” Kasperczak otrzymał zapewnienie, że zostaniem mianowany nowym selekcjonerem i wybrał się nawet w czwartek do Warszawy, aby oficjalnie przejąć kadrę, przyjmował nawet gratulacje. Ostatecznie to jednak “Franz” otrzymał nominację od PZPN.

Co wpłynęło na decyzję związku? Zdaniem “FN”, ostra krytyka ze strony kibiców jaka spotkała Antoniego Piechniczka w środowy wieczór w programie “Warto rozmawiać” na antenie TVP sprawiła, że w nocy po emisji programu doszło do rozmów związkowych działaczy. Aby przypodobać się opinii publicznej włodarze PZPN postanowili obdarzyć zaufaniem Smudę.

KONIEC INFORMACJI

Druga rzecz to Mati Borek. Otóż znany komentator w lutym pogadał sobie towarzysko z chłopakami z FN (wtedy jeszcze nie istniał) a oni zrobili z tego wywiad. Mati, znając go, opowiadał jakie to on zrobiłby “szoł”, gdyby był dyrektorem sportowym w Śląsku Wrocław. A chłopaki napisali, że będzie i zrobi szoł.

Mati oczywiście wyparł się wszystkiego. Ani to wywiad ani on nie będzie dyrektorem Śląska.

A więc zaczęło się. Od jakiegoś czasu w ramach zemsty mamy co chwila materiały oMatim. Ostatnio było o tym, że Mati będzie dyrektorem kadry. Wiadomo, że nie będzie, ale chłopaki piszą mniej więcej tak: “Nie można mu wierzyć, raz już przecież zapewniał że nie będzie dyrektorem Śląska Wrocław, mimo pewnych informacji”.

Jakby zapomniano, że dyrektorem sportowym w Śląsku Wrocław nie był, nie jest i pewnie nie będzie. Wiele rzeczy już widziano, na pewno Mati miał ochotę… Wiem, bo nawet mi mówił, że może kiedyś by chciał, że to byłby fajny nowy etap. Ale wiadomo, to tylko takie gadanie. Od gadania do realizacji zazwyczaj jest kilka tysięcy kilometrów.

A reszta prasy? Nie będę przeklejał, trzeba kupić. Generalnie to samo – kibol Legii zachował się skandalicznie i został ściągnięty. Więcej nie wejdzie na mecz! Chciałbym, żeby za chwilę, po wielkiej medialnej nagonce, wszyscy się opanowali.

Wiadomo, zasada “nie negocjojujemy z terrorystami” musi obowiązywać w walce ze stadionowymi chuliganami. Ale pamiętajmy też, że między piknikami a terrorystami jest jeszcze 95 procent normalnych kibiców. I ci ucierpieli w skutek nieudolnej walki z kibolami takich panów jak Ostrowski, Miklas.

Tak jak trudno nie zgodzić mi się ze stwierdzeniem, że niejaki Staruchowicz to niebezpieczny prymityw i na stadiony wchodzić nie powinien (pisałem o tym jakieś X razy, tutaj i gdzie indziej) to jednak nie dajmy sobie wmówić, że ITI ma teraz w stu procentach rację. Nie miała i nie ma.

W wieku 59 lat zmarł Jan Wejchert – założyciel i prezydent grupy ITI, a także współzałożyciel wielu stacji telewizyjnych, w tym TVN i TVN24. Przyczyną śmierci była silna infekcja bakteryjna i niewydolność serca. Jan Wejchert od 1993 roku zmagał się z białaczką.

W 1984 roku Jan Wejchert wspólnie z Mariuszem Walterem założył firmę ITI. Był współzałożycielem stacji telewizyjnej TVN oraz współwłaścicielem Grupy Onet, Multikina, platformy ‘n’ oraz klubu piłkarskiego Legia Warszawa. Jednym z ostatnich jego przedsięwzięć była budowa nowoczesnego pola golfowego pod Warszawą Wejchert Golf Club.

Z powodu śmierci Wejcherta w logach kanałów grupy ITI pojawił się czarny kir. Magda Mołek i Andrzej Sołtysik rozpoczynając dzisiejsze wydanie programu “Dzień Dobry TVN”, tak wspominali swojego szefa: To dla nas osobista tragedia. (…) Był osobą wszystkim życzliwą, otwartą, energetyczną. Miał milion pomysłów, a realizował dwa miliony pomysłów.

“Ao contrário da auditoria do confere e tica – confere e tica, a ICP-Brasil, com o sistema de auditoria informatizada, obtém dados qualitativos com confere e clica – confere e clica”. Com essa exemplificação simbólica e leve, o diretor de Auditoria, Fiscalização e Normalização do Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia a Informação do ITI, Pedro Paulo Lemos Machado, abriu a mesa que trata sobre o sistema de Auditoria da Infraestrutura de Chaves Públicas brasileiras – ICP-Brasil. O encontro ocorreu na Sala de Certificação Digital, no segundo dia (02/10) do Congresso de Cidadania Digital.

Na sala lotada, o coordenador geral de Auditoria, Fiscalização e Normalização, Pedro Cardoso, iniciou sua apresentação afirmando que auditoria está associada à confiança, consequentemente, à segurança tecnológica, segurança jurídica e maior controle interno independente (auditoria e fiscalização), funções estas da ICP – Brasil, transmitindo assim confiabilidade à sociedade. “Um dos nossos desafios, no momento, é poder auditar e fiscalizar toda a cadeia certificadora da ICP-Brasil à distância, e mantê-la dentro de um processo de confiança, disse Cardoso.

O assessor técnico do ITI, Gilmar Antônio Belchior, informou algumas alterações nas normas para melhorar o desempenho de auditoria como eliminação de autorizações, redução de papéis, apresentação do parecer, critérios para aplicação de penalidades, dossiê de auditoria e a publicação da auditoria.
Algumas informações técnicas foram repassadas pelo assessor técnico, Wilson Roberto Hirata , como números, atualizados, da cadeia da ICP-Brasil. “Hoje temos 36 Autoridades Certificadoras, 182 Autoridades de Registro, 979 instalações técnicas de Autoridades de Registro (dentro desse número 534 são instalações físicas) e 09 Auditorias Independentes. Com todos esses números, temos uma ferramenta eficaz de monitoramento à distância para validar e auditar essas autoridades. E para um futuro, queremos poder apresentar, no próximo Fórum de Certificação Digital (CertFórum), a evolução do laboratório de auditoria de forma a torná-lo um modelo que abranja todo o território nacional”, conclui Hirata.

E.R. RAMACHANDRAN writes: With computer-related work occupying more than 80% of jobs, at last count, one wonders what kind of jobs people were doing, before the advent of computers? What were grownups doing in Bangalore and other cities once they were out of college, vocational institutes and engineering colleges?

Bangalore had a system of its own.

The city spread a sleeping blanket, lined with a mosquito net, as it were, over its snoring populace till 7.30 when the first sip of filter coffee would warrant itself.

The first worker if you could call him, the milkman, would have announced himself well before dawn and milked his cow right under the watchful eyes of the housewife. It was this fresh milk that would whiten the strong coffee that would wake the city from its deep slumber.

Sometimes the cool climate urged normal human beings to curl up further and sleep a bit more.

Most of the able-bodied adults in the City were hauled up by 6.30 in the morning into hundreds of buses and driven off 15 to 20 miles  and disgorged into grey and dull factories better known by their abbreviations and acronyms:  HAL, ITI, BEL, HMT, AMCO, REMCO, NGEF, etc.

Later, some more factories joined the list: BEML, BHEL, MICO, ITC etc.

If you were an early-riser, you would see groups of mildly shivering people in dull uniforms with morning newspapers near street corners waiting for their designated bus.

Once the buses had driven a quarter of the working population out of the sleepy City to sleepier factories, the roads were fairly empty. If you belonged to the other three quarters of the population and were still in bed, you had a choice of being woken up by people practicing different vocations.

The ‘Budubudike Dasiah’ would unexpectedly land at your door-step, shaking his budubudike and with his Kani  Shastra (prophecy). Vegetable vendors shouting ‘Soppu soppooo’ would get into a hi-decibel match with women sporting large kumkumas on their forehead announcing ‘Mosuru kanamma, mosuru….’

By around 9am, the AG’s office and Athara Katcheri gang would start their walk from different parts of the City reaching the office having chewed the last of their Mysore viledele with Sugandhi adike, or having inhaled through the nostril, the last pinch of Ambal nashya.

Later, the Vidhana Soudha was to become the magnet drawing Bangaloreans from all over town.

The self-employed merchants community, the last sort of the workers, would leave for B.V.K. Iyengar Road, Mamulpet, Chickpet, Taragupet, Akkipete, Balepete and many more petes in smaller gullys the latest.

Here they would operate their business wholesale, retail and from matchbox size shops all day till 9 at night moving the city’s economy. They would have their lunch either at Udupi Krishna Bhavan or Malabar Lodge, or spread an old newspaper on the cash counter and have their meal, with the shop’s door partly closed which meant the ‘proprietor was having his lunch!’.

The city wore a ghostlike appearance, especially when the students got into their class after their morning prayers around 10 in the morning.

Only sounds such as ‘Hale kathri, chakuge saane hidiyoduri ’, ‘Hale batte, kalapathina reshme seerege stainless steel pathre, Ammavre! ’ would rent the air in the afternoon which was strictly meant for women to get the kitchen implements sharpened or get rid of their old clothes for brand new stainless steel kitchen ware.

Both the seller and buyer would play a cat-and-mouse game until it left both exhausted and settle for anything to clinch the deal. Thus, a whole lot of old clothes would leave the attic to be replaced by a shimmering 4–level tiffin carrier or a big all-purpose vessel which would be displayed right at the entrance to catch the eye of the weary husband dragging himself  in.

A detailed narration of how the triumphant deal was secured would follow while serving him kodubale and coffee!

‘BaLe! BaLe namma BaLE!’ would be the call of the bangles seller around noon who would make his appearance just before Varamahalakshmi and continue throughout the festive season.

If you felt the pension City was dead and gone, life would mysteriously resurface late afternoon with one bus following another into the city. Soon, it would turn into a cavalcade of buses of different colours—blue and cream for HAL, blue and silver for ITI—wearing different uniforms, as it were, streaming into the city.

After making a telephone, radio set, boiler, a walkie-talkie or whatever, around a dozen pair of weary legs would drop off at each stop, carrying a rolled up copy of K.N. Netakallappa’s ‘Sudha’ or P. R. Ramaiah’s ‘Thayi Nadu’ and troop back home.

After uppittu or a menthyada dose over a cup of coffee, and a quick shower would see them spill to the road one by one.

Quite a few of them would take out their well-oiled bicycles out and, like a  cowboy walking his horse, walk their cycles having the other arm over their friend’s shoulder, for the daily dose of one-by-two coffee.

The shopkeepers after downing shutters at night would reach home with a parcel of Mysore pak or Jhangri catching kids just about fall asleep.

At night, the last of the businessmen selling his ware would speed through the City in his cycle lit by wick and kerosene lamp shouting ‘Thati nungu, Thati nungu’ just as people  settled down  to listen to Melville de Mello or a Chakrapani or Roshan Menon, for  the 9’0 clock news.

Thus would end the business cycle before sleep embraced the City again.
