Sentyment do tego miasta jest efektem szczepienia kolejnymi tomami Jeżycjady, zwłaszcza Opium w rosole. Z rozrzewnieniem oglądałam dziś w słońcu schody opery, na których obtłukł sobie kość ogonową Maciek Ogorzałka oraz skwer po drugiej stronie. Pomykanie na tramwaj po Teatralce niosło w sobie to rzadkie a tak fajne uczucie spacerowania po mieście, które oglądało się jedynie w przewodniku, choć dawno już chciało się je zobaczyć w rzeczywistości.

Miasto Koziołków i marcińskich rogali mnie zachwyciło.

Zasadniczo byłam tam, żeby poprowadzić seminarium naukowe o teologii ciała. Grupa jest spora – 30 osób, o bardzo różnym wykształceniu. Znów temat posłuszeństwa kobiety mężczyźnie a tym samym rozumienia hierarchii stał się punktem zapalnym dyskusji. A to dopiero pierwsze spotkanie, mam nadzieję, że dalej będzie jeszcze ciekawiej.

Całość organizuje Marta Maciszewska, oficjalnie Instytut Tertio Millenio, oddział Poznań, mniej oficjalnie: pasjonatka tematu. Wygląda na to, że udało jej się trafić w niszę i to taką, która potrzebuje wypełnienia. Czuję ciężar odpowiedzialności a jednocześnie mam poczucie, że dobrze jest. Dobrze jest. Podejrzewam, że modlitwa w rewelacyjnej kaplicy adoracji u poznańskich OP miała spory wpływ na to poczucie Nie mówiąc o sympatycznym noclegu i porannym śniadanku – jednak nie ma to jak OPsia rodzina i niezawodny o. tanggal 25 Nov 2009 tepatnya saya mengikuti seleksi CPNS. yang mana dalam kesempatan ini saya mencoba mencari informasi dimana tempat yang lebih potensial saya rasakan.

namun ada satu permasalahan yang saya kurang mengerti, mengenai penerimaan di kota tebing tinggi, jelaslah saya adalah alumni Elektro di ITM, sebelum melayangkan berkas lamaran saya bersama sahabat saya menanyakan kepada pegawai BKD setempat. berketepatan jabatanya adalah sekretaris, karena ada peluang untuk elektro kami mnanyakan mengenai formasi apa yang tepatnya saya ajukan.

namun sangat mengejutkan dan mengherankan saya adalah bapak tersebut mengatakan, kalau formasi yang diterima adalah berdasarkan fakultas, bukan jurusan!!!!  sementara saya memang Fakultas Teknologi Industri jurusan Teknik Elektro. yang menjadi pertanyaan adalah Apakah ada Fakultas teknik elektro di sumatra utara???

akhirnya saya masukan berkas saya pada S1/Teknik industri, sementara pada saat pembagian nomor dan ujian sangat banyak alumni jurusan teknik elektro yang tidak mendapatkan kartu dan tidak dapat mengikuti ujian, sementara berkas saya lulus mengikuti tes pada jurusan teknik industri.

Eu voltei a jogar os sit-n-go de 9 jogadores no Full Tilt. Eu venho explicando que minha situação está precária, então fiz um acordo de stake com o Dexx para o mês de novembro. Não vou entrar em detalhes sobre o acordo, mas é bom para os dois. Na quinta eu comecei  a luta, mas de uma maneira desorientada. A vontade era tanta que abri 10 mesas e joguei 26 torneios de forma contínua. O resultado não foi nada bom. Depois voltei a jogar, dessa vez ser contínou. Vi que não estava tendo sucesso e depois de 45 torneios decidi fazer o mais sensato: parar e voltar ao básico que é estudar e revisar todas as minhas sessões.

Durante as revisões eu observei o quanto eu estava errando. Postei algumas mãos no MaisEv, li vários artigos de estratégia de SitnGo, comprei o Sit-n-Go Wizard e voltei a jogar menos mesas com a intenção de eliminar todos os defeitos e dúvidas que eu tenho. O sucesso foi grande e agora posso dizer que os erros são quase inexistentes. Para isso vou postar alguns gráficos e resultados.

Antes de postar os resultados e os gráficos vou explicar o significado das palavras/siglas que eu uso pro pessoal que vem aqui e ainda não conhece  o poker.

ROI é a abreviação de “retorno do investimento.” Este é um termo de poker que é usado para medir a rentabilidade de um jogador em torneios de poker. O ROI é calculado como (100 * lucro total / total buy-in). Assim, se alguém recebeu um prêmio de 150 dólares em um torneio com buy-in de $ 100 + $ 9, o ROI deste é calculado como 100 * $ 41 / $ 109 = 37,61%.

Buy-in é o valor pago para se participar de um torneio.

ITM é a sigla pra “In the money”, que é quando o jogador termina o torneio dentro da faixa de premiação.

A linha verde é o lucro, a linha azul é o lucro mais o rakeback (quem não sabe eu explico isso outro dia) e a vermelha é a minha “sorte”. Não sei muito bem explicar essa linha, mas vou fazer uma tentativa. Explica quando eu perco que eu deveria ter ganho, e quando eu ganho que deveria ter perdido. Se eu tiver perdido mais vezes quando deveria ganhar a linha vermelha estará acima da verde, caso contrário ela estará embaixo.

Μετά το Spiral, ξεκίνησα το Meteor, το οποίο αποτελεί και την πτυχιακή μου εργασία.

Σκοπός είναι η δημιουργία μιας βιβλιοθήκης η οποία θα υλοποιεί τους παρακάτω τύπους Neural Gas: Neural Gas [1], Growing Neural Gas[2] και Instantaneous Topological Map[3].

Αποφασίσαμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε C++ ώστε να είναι γρήγορο. Και πραγματικά είναι. Η τρέχουσα υλοποίηση του GNG σε C++ είναι περίπου 10 φορές γρηγορότερη από μία προηγούμενη σε C# (προφανώς με τις ίδιες ρυθμίσεις).

Ακόμη, χρησιμοποιώντας το CMake για το building της βιβλιοθήκης, την καθιστά crossplatform, που σημαίνει ότι τρέχει σε Linux (GCC)  και Windows (VS C++ 2009). Στο Linux παράγει μια static library, ενώ στα Windows ένα dll.

Τέλος, θα προστεθεί υποστήριξη multithreading (όταν υπάρχουν πολλοί cores) και ίσως εκτέλεση μερικών αλγορίθμων σε Shaders πάνω στην κάρτα γραφικών.

Κάποια στιγμή θα ανεβάσω videos με την εκτέλεση των αλγορίθμων (πιθανόν αυτό σε C#).

Cred ca am mai spus si imi permit sa ma repet: eu cred intr-un Dumnezeu al tuturor si totusi al fiecaruia. Si eu am o relatie usor atipica vis-a-vis de aceasta instanta religioasa.

Eu nu prea pot sa spun rugaciuni din tot sufletul, dar imi place sa vorbesc din cand in cand cu Doamne-Doamne al meu. Si pentru ca l-am capiat cu tampenii de genul “vreau asta….ba aia…ba ailalta” sau “o sa fiu cuminte….de maine….sau de poimaine sau…nu?!” si El se mai razbuna din cand in cand pe mine in felul lui unic. Asa a aparut categoria “povestile unui peripatitor” si asta este cauza aparitiei acestui post de blog.

Totul a inceput cu…un sfarsit. Mai exact, la sfarsitul lui august am plecat de la fostul meu job din motive…de criza. Inainte sa plec am cam facut valuri ca eu vreau sa ma dea afara ca sa pot lua somaj. Si abia 2 luni mai tarziu (adik astazi) am terminat si eu de strans actele…fara a avea certitudinea ca sunt chiar toate.

2 lucruri sunt destul de amuzante in legatura cu somajul meu. Faptul ca dupa atatea valuri imi lipseau niste acte initial (si eu nu aveam idee de ce) fara de care aveam fix 1 an fara 7 zile, iar pentru indemnizatia de somaj ai nevoie de 1 an lucrat  in ultimele 24 de luni. =))

Al doilea moment revelatoriu a fost dupa prima mea vizita la ITM (Inspectoratul Teritorial al Muncii). Ca o bucla, acolo daca te duci neinitiat o sa te simti “provocat”, ca sa nu folosesc alte trimiteri la necuvantatoare. M-au tot “provocat” o zi intreaga functionarii de acolo dupa care ies cahuie si nu mai tineam minte exact pe ce strada venisem  deci provocata fiind am luat-o la intamplare. Si mergand tot imi spuneam: “asta parca n-o stiu…nici asta… nici asta…deci nu e asta strada…ce mult am mers, oare unde-oi fi?!”. Eram cat pe ce sa imi auto-adresez cateva trimiteri cand intervine Doamne-Doamne al meu cu un indicator pe care scria strada.

Ghici cum se chema? Strada Oitelor!!!! Nu strada Oilor, a Oitelor! Ei si-atunci n-a mai fost nevoie sa-mi spun ca-s oaie ca am luat-o la intamplare, au avut altii grija – adica DD si primaria sectorului respectiv. )

Se buscan caminos de acuerdos con el ITM fratenidad San José para el beneficio de la Institución Educativa Caracas que es la más cercana en el sector. Por tanto se asiste a la mayoría de eventos posibles que hagan en él para que se haga notar el interés que se tiene sobre un común acuerdo.

Para ello asistiremos los grados 10º y 11º el próximo viernes 30 de Octubre a las 8:00 a.m hasta la 1:00 p.m . El desarrollo de las clases ése día será normal para todos los grados exceptuando 9º, 10º y 11º que llegarán más tarde a la institución.

Hari ni, saya nak cerita pasal apa ek?

Saya masih lagi memikirkan tentang kawan-kawan saya. Hidup saya memang selalu berkisar pasal kawan-kawan. Sebab sejak dari kecil, kawan-kawan lah tempat saya menghiburkan hati. Cukuplah untuk saya katakan, teman -teman yang baik selalu bersama saya di kala susah dan senang. Semalam saya tak boleh tidur, sampai pukul 5 pun masih tak boleh tidur. Jadi saya bingkiskan sesuatu untuk teman-teman di sini.

Anyway, walaupun kelihatan saya selalu menjadi dominasi dikalangan sahabat atau teman rapat saya, tapi hakikatnya, saya adalah watak hitam atau kurang sempurna dalam sesebuah persahabatan.

Macamana ye saya nak mulakan? Okeylah, saya mulakan dengan ciri-ciri sahabat yang selalu menjadi pilihan saya. Walaupun saya sangat mementingkan ‘chemistry‘ dalam sesebuah persahabatan, kebetulan pula saya memang selalu serasi dengan orang yang pendiam. Bukan sengaja memilih yang begitu supaya saya saja yang bercakap, dan yang lain itu mendengar (tapi selalu memang macam tu pun.. ehehehe.. ) tapi mungkin kerana saya selalu rasa orang yang pendiam ini terlalu misteri. Jadi walaupun dah lama berkenalan, setiap kali pun ada saja perkara baru yang saya belajar. Lagipun, saya selalu rasa, orang yang pendiam ini bukanlah pendiam sangat. Dia mungkin bukan orang yang memulakan saja, tapi sebenarnya dia sama saja macam orang juga, banyak perkara yang nak diceritakan.

Bila saya perhatikan kembali sahabat-sahabat saya, selalunya mereka mesti mempunyai banyak kelebihan dari saya. Biasanya kawan-kawan sangatlah pandai dari saya dan rajin pula tu. Ada pula tu yang alim dan pandai agama. Ataupun mempunyai banyak lagi kelebihan lain yang sangat saya kagumi. Entah kenapa, saya selalu mendapat kawan-kawan yang sangat hebat. Jadi saya juga tumpang bangga memiliki sahabat-sahabat yang begitu.

Jadi, selain menjadi seorang yang peramah, dan mungkin sedikit pandai mengambil hati orang, saya sebenarnya bukan lah apa-apa pun sangat kalau nak dibandingkan dengan sahabat-sahabat baik atau teman-teman rapat saya. Macam konsep yin dan yang, dan sebenarnya saya adalah watak hitam dalam persahabatan kami. Tak percaya? Mari saya beri contoh.

Masa saya di sekolah rendah dulu, sahabat baik saya adalah salah seorang sepupu saya. Saya panggil dia Asmah. Walaupun saya anak yang sulung, tugas saya cuma perlu menjaga adik saja. Tapi sepupu saya ini, semua kerja rumah dia yang kene buat. Pandai menanak nasi (bear in mind, dulu tak ada periuk nasi ek!), masak gulai dan lauk pauk (masak dengan dapur kayu tau!), rajin buat kerja rumah macam membasuh baju, mengemas, lipat baju, malah cari kayu api pun pandai! Pendek kata (panjang belum kata apa-apa lagi.. ) seawal 12 tahun pun, sudah tahu buat kerja-kerja suri rumahtangga. Sedang saya.. terpaksa menjaga adik seharian suntuk pun sudah mengeluh. Dan dialah juga tempat saya melepaskan perasaan.

Bila masuk Tingkatan 1, pindah sekolah, saya berjumpa dengan seorang sahabat baik bernama Jaja. Jaja ni budak pandai. Bayangkan, dia dah dapat tawaran masuk MRSM semasa di tingkatan 1 lagi. Juga seorang yang sangat pengemas dan rajin. Malah, dari dialah saya belajar menggantung baju dan mengemas almari dengan baik dan kemas. Tulisan pun cantik. Kadang-kadang saya hampir tertiru tulisannya. Dan seronok  kerana dia antara teman yang sama gila macam saya. Jadi selalu membuat idea-idea gila (tapi masih terkawal) di sekolah! Sampai kami pernah jadikan cikgu Geografi bangsa India sebagai mak angkat, dan cikgu Sejarah bangsa Cina jadi ayah angkat!

Bila masuk MRSM, saya sedikit culture shock. Mungkin terjumpa dengan orang yang kurang pandai menghargai persahabatan. Tapi mujur kemudiannya saya berjumpa dengan Anida, teman sekelas saya. Di saat saya moral down dengan persahabatan dan pelajaran, Anida muncul membantu saya. Setiap hari mengingatkan cita-cita kami untuk mendapat GPA 3 pointer (ahaha.. walaupun itu adalah sedikit mustahil sebenarnya sebab dah terlambat. tapi kami tak peduli!). Atas usaha yang berterusan, kami sampai pernah mendapat markah tertinggi dalam subjek komputer (menurut cikgu.. saya pun sebenarnya kurang percaya). Dan berkat usaha, doa, tawakal dan moral support dari Anida, pelajaran saya menunjukkan peningkatan. Tanpa dia, mungkin SPM saya dapat Pangkat 2 je.

Faiz wit family

Bila masuk universiti, saya mula rapat dengan Faiz Ahmad. Pertama kali saya lihat dia, sewaktu perjumpaan pelajar yang mendapat IPTA dari negeri Perak di Politeknik Ungku Omar. Sewaktu itu, dia bertanya tentang PTPTN kepada penceramah. Saya sangat kagum sebab dikala orang lain tak tahu nak tanya apa, atau sibuk bersembang dengan rakan-rakan, dia bertanya tentang soalan yang sangat penting buat orang-orang kurang mampu seperti saya! Faiz orangnya sedikit pendiam, sensitif dan serius tapi sangat pandai dan rajin. Juga pandai agama. Sebenarnya, ramai kawan-kawan sangat takut dengan dia. Mungkin bukan takut, tapi segan saja kot. Bayangkanlah, seorang sahabat lelaki pernah memberitahu saya, yang dia pernah bermimpi melihat Faiz membaca Al-Quran! Oh sungguh hebat penangan Faiz itu! Tak mungkin orang pernah mimpi macam tu pada saya.

Banyak perkara yang saya belajar dari dia. Dari ilmu pelajaran, ilmu agama, sampailah ke ilmu kehidupan, samada secara lihat lisan, atau apabila melihat terus dalam kehidupan Faiz. Untuk belajar tentang sesuatu, kita tak semestinya diberitahu tentang ilmu itu, tapi belajar menjadi pemerhati dalam kehidupan orang lain. Jadi itulah yang saya belajar dari Faiz. Memang banyak yang saya belajar! Faiz selalu membuatkan saya berfikir, walaupun kita bermula dari keadaan yang biasa-biasa, kita mampu berakhir dengan luar biasa, jika tahu apa yang kita inginkan, dan berusaha mendapatkannya. Cuma, saya saja yang selalu rendah diri! Itu penyakit yang sukar diubati! Eehehe..

Saya juga pernah rapat dengan seorang teman bernama Junn. Dia adalah anak bongsu pertama yang saya kurang rasa menyampah! Ahahaha.. ini penyakit anak sulung sebenarnya. Cukup tak suka melihat orang mengada-ngada (mungkin sebab saya sendiri tak berpeluang menjadi begitu kot.. ). Junn sangat independent orangnya. Tak sama langsung dengan anak-anak bongsu yang saya pernah kenal. Semua benda pun buat sendiri. Jarang balik kampung, walaupun dia budak KL (waktu tu kami di Shah Alam). Bagi saya, Junn memang seorang survivor! Saya masih ingat, dari ITM Manjung, hanya dia seorang saja pelajar perempuan yang ambil major IT, tapi saya lihat dia boleh saja ke mana-mana seorang diri atau masuk dengan geng mana-mana pun. Paling kelakar, oleh sebab kebolehan dia bergaul, keluar gosip dia ber-couple dengan seorang budak IT yang selalu dia tumpang kereta, dan kawan saya yang bergosip tu tak tahu, saya ni teman sebilik Junn je. Tapi nama pun gosip, sebenarnya memang tak ada apa-apa pun. Satu lagi kebebolehan dia yang saya kagumi, adalah bermain game. Ntahlah, sampai naik pening saya melihat begitu banyak game yang dah di-install masuk dalam pc-nya. Kadang-kadang, berjam-jam saya duduk di belakangnya, hanya sekadar melihat dia bermain game!

Dan akhir sekali, di saat-saat teman-teman satu persatu melangkah ke alam perkahwinan, dan tinggallah kami yang bujang-bujang ini meneruskan persahabatan, saya semakin menjadi rapat dengan Faez Noor atau lebih senang saya panggil Pae atau Pa. Sebenarnya sudah mula rapat sejak final year Degree lagi, bila saya mula berpindah ke rumah sewanya. Pae ni, selamba, kadang-kadang kelihatan macam tak berperasaan, ada sense of humor, tapi sedikit pendiam pada awal perkenalan. Tapi sangat pandai dan rajin (oh.. budak pandai memang selalu rajin kan?). Kalau sewaktu peperiksaan dulu, kami teman-teman serumah suka mencari Pae untuk menghafal. Semacam bila melihat muka dia, kami boleh menghafal pula.

Dan budak ini memang scorer, sama macam Faiz Ahmad juga (mungkin Faiz lebih skit kot.. ntahlah, tapi memang sesuailah nama mereka tu, Faizah tu maksudnya kejayaan, Nor tu maksudnya cahaya. Seorang Norfaizah, seorang Faezah Noor, patutlah pandai!). Perkara yang buat saya sangat terharu apabila dia menjaga saya sewaktu saya kena strok. Ahahah.. jangan panik! Mungkin sebab sedikit stress dengan tesis, saya terkena strok di muka. Ntah kenapa, tiba-tiba saja dia balik ke rumah sewa (waktu tu dia dah habis belajar dan kerja sementara, sedang saya extend satu sem, konon nak jaga pointer lah), dan duduk dengan saya, lebih kurang 2 minggu kalau tak silap. Setiap kali waktu makan ubat, dia akan pastikan saya sudah makan ubat. Sampaikan

saya pun baik dari strok tanpa perlu pergi membuat terapi (tapi sebenarnya saya sendiri yang terlupa sesi terapi tu, dan pada sesi yang kedua, saya pun dah ok). Walaupun saya tak tahu apa yang membuatkan dia datang menjaga saya, tapi memang nak ucapkan terima kasih banyak-banyak, sebab kalau dia tak datang, mungkin saya akan selalu skip makan ubat, dan makin lambatlah saya sembuh. Sebab itu, saya kalau boleh tak mahu berkira sangat dengan dia. Kadang-kadang saya selalu takut saya take for granted kebaikan orang, contohnya bila saya minta tolong Pae hantar dan ambil saya kerja dan tumpang tidur di rumahnya bila saya on site di Putrajaya. Oh ya, Pae ni juga sangat pandai programming. Saya pun dah tak ingat pasal programming, dan saya selalu jeles sendiri bila fikir dia banyak tahu dari saya (tapi sendiri pun pilih kerja yang tak teknikal sangat.. padan la muka kan.. ).

Jadi itulah antara teman-teman rapat saya. Bila saya di tepi meraka, saya selalu rasa orang akan melihat kami seperti yin dan yang, dan tentulah saya yang hitam tu (oh kebetulan pula saya ni memang hitam pun!). Bukanlah maknanya saya ni jahat sangat (masih taknak mengaku tu.. ehehee..), tapi dengan sifat saya yang kasar, kelam kabut, kadang-kadang kelihatan macam kartun (ehehe.. tu bila saya lihat diri saya dalam video), hyper active dan banyak cakap, mungkin saya ni orang baik yang sedikit nakal. Huh??!!

Face à ce constat, l’Agence européenne pour la Sécurité et la Santé au Travail (OSHA) coordonne depuis 2008 une campagne de sensibilisation sur le thème “Lieux de travail sains : bon pour vous, bon pour vos affaires” afin de réduire les accidents de 25 % d’ici 2012. La Semaine européenne pour la sécurité et la santé au travail se tiendra du 19 au 23 octobre 2009. Cette année, le focus est mis sur l’inventaire et la gestion des risques qui constituent les premières étapes du processus de prévention.

Selon les statistiques européennes (OIT Estimation 2008), un travailleur

est impliqué dans un accident toutes les cinq secondes (arrêt de travail de 3 jours ouvrables au minimum),

décède de causes liées à son activité professionnelle toutes les 3 minutes et demi,

trouve la mort sur son lieu de travail toutes les deux heures.

In the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra are located the rock-cut cave monuments which are called as the Ajanta caves. These caves house paintings and sculpture which are considered to be masterpieces of Buddhist religious art and universal pictorial art. The Ajanta Caves have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1983. These caves date back to the second century BC and were built under the patronage of Hindu Kings at that time.

The official number of caves as numbered by the Archaeological Survey of India is 29 and are located in a horse-shoe shaped ravine which is located around 3.5 km from the village of Ajintha. Paintings and sculptures are present all over the caves except the floors and they depict the teachings of Buddhism and also depictions of Jataka Tales is done in these paintings which are murals of a different style.

For the people who want to rest and have a relaxed time, away from the hustle of city life, Uttarakhand is the place to be. The place is called Devbhoomi or the “Land of Gods” and is a state which is beautiful that is cradled by the lofty Himalayas. There are innumerable tourist destinations and pilgrimage destinations in Uttarakhand which can be visited by the tourists.

Uttarakhand is the land of celestial beauty where snow-laden peaks, gargantuan mountains, valley of flowers. Ski slopes etc are present. Also, in addition to this, the Char Dhams or the four most sacred places of the Hindu religion are present in the state of Uttarakhand. The cities which are highly visited by the tourists are Nainital, Almora, Corbett, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Gangotri, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Mussoorie, Dehradun and Ranikhet.

Sikkim is a state which is located in East India and shares its border with Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. West Bengal is the only Indian state that shares its border. This is the state which lies below the third-loftiest peak in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga. The capital of the state is Gangtok and this state is said to be a Himalayan wonderland which has the beauty of paradise instilled in it.

Many tourist attractions like Changu Lake, Yumthang Valley, Rumtek Monastery etc are present in Sikkim. If in addition to the natural beauty, one wants to have a taste of adventure, then mountaineering, trekking and river rafting are some great options that can be explored in Sikkim. Tourists can also visit the Research Institute of Tibetology at Gangtok, Tsangu Lake, Dear Park and the 200-year-old Enchey Monastery.

One of the smallest states in India but one of the most beautiful, Nagaland is located in the far eastern part of the country. It is surrounded by Assam, Myanmar, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh. Kohima is the capital of the state. The picturesque beauty of this state has also earned it the tag of “Switzerland of the east”.

Music and culture are an integral part of the Nagaland people and their life. This place is also the fashion capital of the east. Along with the vibrant colourful sunrise and the mystical natural beauty of the place, there are other places like the Second World War cemetery, State Museum and Zoo that are located in the capital city of Kohima which arouse interest in tourists. Trekking, rock climbing, jungle camping can also be indulged in while you are in Nagaland.

A hilly strip of land which is 300 km long and 100 km wide is located in the eastern part of India is called the “abode of the clouds”. This state is called Meghalaya and is shares its boundary with Assam and frontier with Bangladesh. The capital of the state is Shillong and one third of the area of the state is forested.

The forested area of the state has varied fauna and flora which is great treat for any nature lover. Moreover there are many firsts in the state like the longest cave and deepest cave are present in Meghalaya. 2 national park and 3 wildlife sanctuaries, the Umiam Lake etc are also popular tourist spots in the state of Meghalaya.

Madhya Pradesh is the largest state in India and is located in the central part of the country. This state is simply a land of contrasts which is laden with all types of scenic beauties that you would want to look for. Moreover, the dose of culture that one can get once in this state is enough to arouse any one’s interest in history or skills.

River valleys, dense forests, plains, highlands, mountains etc are all found together in one state of Madhya Pradesh. Also, great evidences of history are also present in the form of the Gwalior fort. Ujjain and Buddhist sites at Sanchi are a great spectacle and so are the Khajuraho temples that are most intriguing for the visitors.

The smallest of the union territories of India, Lakshadweep can be said to be a geographical extension of the Maldives chain of Islands. It was earlier called as Laccadives and the name literally means “a hundred thousand islands”. Lakshadweep is basically an archipelago which consists of 36 islands, 12 atolls and 3 reefs and 5 submerged banks in the Arabian Sea.

Lakshadweep islands can certainly be called as a tropical paradise. Clear blue waters, deserted and calm sandy beaches, endless sunshine, coconut trees etc, whatever you wish for is present in this place. This place is very intriguing for the visitors who come here as the place is comparatively undiscovered, untouched and unspoilt. This adds more to the beauty of the place and the visitors of Lakshadweep islands are simply left awe-struck with the beauty of the islands.

Originally named as the State of Mysore, Karnataka was formed in 1956. This state lies in the Southern part of India and has the Arabian Sea as the coast. The neighbouring states are Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. The capital city of the state is Bangalore and this state is said to hold a historical legacy embedded in it.

There is simply a lot to explore when you are in Karnataka. If you want to explore the city life of Karnataka, then Bangalore is the hub for you. The nearby Mysore offers the Mysore Palace which is one of the most visited places in India. The Chennakesava temple in Belur which took 103 years to be completed is also a great place to visit. More evidences of intricate architecture can be seen in Badami and Aihole.

Haryana is a state which was carved out of Punjab in 1966. This state is located in north India and borders Delhi on three sides. Chandigarh is the shared capital of Haryana along with that of Punjab. Faridabad is the largest city in Haryana which is located just south of Delhi and Jind is a very large district in Haryana. Haryana is a state where one can see diverse culture, races and faiths. This factor makes it a very popular place of visit by the tourists. Also, this state is one of the leading states in India when it comes to manufacturing, services and the agrarian sector of the country.

One of the oldest surviving cities in India, Delhi is the capital of the country and is an amalgam of all types of cultures, people, food etc that are prevalent in the country. The city is divided in two parts of Old Delhi and New Delhi which have different types of architecture which are equally intriguing.

Monuments like India Gate, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Parliament House, red fort etc are highly enticing for the tourists who come here. It is culture-rich city which has a mix of everything. Great shopping malls have made their place in the city where you can shop till you drop. Modern day, high tech facilities are available which will make your stay easier and more comfortable.

Bihar is located in the eastern part of the Republic of India. It is one of the states which are culturally very rich. This is the state where Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment. The circuit of Buddhism was established here in Bihar. Even the name of the state has been adopted from Vihara which means Buddhist monastery.

There are numerous cities and places that attract millions of tourists and religious followers from the world across. Patna, the capital city earlier called Pataliputra is one of the oldest capital cities of the world. Then there are Gaya and Bodhgaya which attract several Buddhist followers to the place where Buddha got enlightenment. Also known as the “land of the rising sun”, Arunachal Pradesh is the easternmost state in India. It is bound by Assam and Nagaland and also shares the frontier with Myanmar, Bhutan and Tibet. Itanagar is the capital of the state. Majestic beauty and unspoiled hills of Arunachal Pradesh is the icon for the state.

Deep gorges, wide rivers and impenetrable forests are present in the state which offers a great deal for the tourists to explore. This “land of the dawn-lit mountains” is the first Indian soil that greets the sun and therefore has an ethereal beauty to it. This is also a place where you can find rich fauna and flora. Arunachal Pradesh is simply a traveller’s paradise and has the most breathtaking and magnificent beauty.

Andhra Pradesh is located in the southern part of India. It is considered to be the true heart of the south. The Bay of Bengal lies on the east coast of the state and Orissa, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka share its boundary. This state is called as the “rice bowl of India” and is a confluence of different religions like Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu faiths.

There are numerous places in Andhra Pradesh that attract tourists from all over India and the world. These include the Tirupati which is abode of Lord Venkateshwara. This place is the most visited and richest religious centre of the world. The beaches at Vishakapatnam, the Borra Caves, the Araku Valley, waterfalls at Ettipotala, Kuntala and rich bio-diversity at Talakona, Belum Caves, the Horsely Hills. Some monuments which are present in the state are Charminar, Golconda Fort, Chandragiri Fort, Chowmahalla Palace and Falaknuma Palace which are a great attraction for the tourists.
