____ก้าวไปอีก step ครับกับระบบแผนที่ในบ้านเรา ผมชอบความใจกว้างของหน่วยงานรัฐที่เปิดให้ Google ที่มีระบบ Map Service ที่ดีมาช่วยเผยแพร่ข้อมูลสภาพจรจรให้อีกทาง ต้องขอขอบคุณทางสำนักงานนโยบายและแผนการขนส่งและจราจร แต่เดิมก็มีดีแต่คนใช้น้อยจริงๆ ผมเองก็พยายามช่วยประชาสัมพันธ์ แต่อย่างว่าคนส่วนมากเราไม่ชอบวางแผนการเดิน ผมเองก็ไม่ชอบแต่ถ้าอยู่กรุงเทพมันจำเป็นจริงๆ ถ้าเข้าไปในเส้นทางการจราจรติดขัดรับรองว่าได้นั่งอยู่บนรถนานเกือบชั่วโมงได้ทีเดียว ตั้งแต่มี Traffic Map ผมเองก็พยายามใช้ผ่าน longdo แต่คนไทยส่วนมากที่ใช้แผนที่ผ่าน internet มักจะนิยม google Map มากกว่าเจ้าอื่นๆอันนี้แอบสังเกตส่วนตัว การที่เราใช้แผนที่หาร้านค้า หาสถานที่ได้ คงจะดีเข้าไปอีกถ้าใช้วางแผนเดินทางได้ด้วย สิ่งที่อยากเห็นอีกก้าวคือการเผยแพร่ระบบ turn table ที่ดีและมีมาตรฐานเพราะอนาคตไม่แน่ เราอาจจะเห็น Real time traffic Map บน Navigator ก็ได้ เมื่อนั้นการนำทางที่พาเราไประยะทางที่เร็วที่สุดก็จะเกิดขึ้น อย่างสมบูรณ์ ลดค่าน้ำมัน ลดการปล่อย Co ได้เป็นโข แต่ในอนาคตไม่แน่อาจจะเห็นกับ Google Navigation เป็นเจ้าแรกก็ได้ เพราะ traffic Map น่าจะเป็นทีเด็ดให้ Google Navigation อ่านเพิ่มเติมที่ http://emap.wordpress.com/2009/11/07/google-navigator-2/

____นอกจากระบบแผนที่สภาพจราจรแบบเรียลไทม์แล้ว google transit ยังมีส่วนของข้อมูลระบบขนส่งสาธารณะอีกด้วย เช่น ป้ายรถเมล์ , เส้นทาง BTS, MRT มีการแนะนำเส้นทางการเดินทางพร้อมคำนวณเวลาและระยะทางคราวๆให้อีกด้วย แต่น่าเสียดายการคำนวณเวลาน่าจะยังไม่ได้ใช้เงื่อนไขจากสภาพจราจรในช่วงเวลาต่างๆ(ผมลองทดสอบจากการคำนวณในเงื่อนไข ของ traffic ที่ต่างกัน) แต่เท่านี้ผมว่าก็ช่วยให้การวางแผนการเดินทางนั้นดีขึ้นมากแล้วครับ (ข้อมูลยังไม่ครบทุกเส้นทางครับ) ส่วนผู้ใช้มือถือสามารถติดตั้งและเข้าถึงระบบผ่าน google mobile ได้ที่ http://m.google.co.th/maps

We followed them mile after mile. We were hungry and thirsty. We saw group of Japanese eating. Oh, how our mouths watered seeing the delicious fruits they were eating, Then suddenly, we heard a voice call, “Consuelo……Oscar……Consuelo……Oscar……Consuelo. ……Oscar……” we ran towards the direction of the voice, but it was too late. We saw father hanging on a tree…… dead. Oh, it was terrible. He had been badly beaten before he died……and I cried vengeance, vengeance, vengeance! Everything went black. The next thing I knew I was nursing my poor invalid mother.

One day, we heard the church bell ringing “ding-dong, ding-dong!” It was a sign for us to find a shelter in our hide-out, but I could not leave my invalid mother, I tried to show her the way to the hide-out.

Suddenly, bombs started falling; airplanes were roaring overhead, canyons were firing from everywhere. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Mother was hit. Her legs were shattered into pieces. I took her gently in my arms and cried, “I’ll have vengeance, vengeance!” “No, Oscar. Vengeance, it is God’s,” said mother.

But I cried out vengeance. I was like a pent-up volcano. “Vengeance is mine not the Lord’s”. “No, Oscar. Vengeance is not ours, it’s God’s” these were the words from my mother before she died.

Mother was dead and I was blind. Vengeance is not ours? To forgive is divine but vengeance is sweeter.

Así lo revela una investigación de la Universidad de San Pablo (España)

A partir de los resultados de la investigación,  se ha lanzado la campaña “Yo freno el sida”, para promover la abstinencia sexual y la fidelidad como “métodos infalibles” para frenar la enfermedad.

La iniciativa gira en torno a la publicación en internet de un vídeo en el que varios jóvenes lanzan mensajes como “vale la pena esperar”, “con la salud no se juega”, “así soy más feliz”, “mis actos son importantes” y “tienen consecuencias”, “no hago caso a cualquiera” o “por la pareja que dura”.

Según el estudio, las distintas campañas que desde el Ministerio de Sanidad y desde comunidades autónomas como han promovido como “único medio válido” el uso del preservativo “no funcionan”, ya que no han aumentado el uso del condón entre los jóvenes ni han frenado la tendencia alcista del aborto. “Muestran el sexo desde la perspectiva del placer, cuando la mayoría de los jóvenes quieren conocer el amor y la felicidad”.

La campaña del CEU, que va dirigida a jóvenes de entre 14 y 20 años -la franja de edad donde más aumenta el aborto provocado, especialmente entre inmigrantes, que copan ya el 60 por ciento de las intervenciones-, también quiere vincular el sexo a la vida, ya que “olvidarlo lleva al embarazo no deseado”, y también a la vida en pareja, al respeto y la fidelidad,   “pues así se frenan las enfermedades de transmisión sexual”.

La promoción pública del condón no ha reducido la incidencia del VIH y de infecciones como el sífilis  y la gonorrea, que duplicaron y hasta cuadruplicaron su incidencia en comunidades como la madrileña entre 2000 y 2006, lo que hace temer a los epidemiólogos que se produzca un fenómeno paralelo con el VIH.

La mayoría de los diagnósticos por el virus del sida se dan en personas de 30 años que  tuvieron prácticas arriesgadas hace 10 años. Aunque las infecciones venéreas no tienen por qué ir acompañadas de VIH, “podría darse un repunte”, aseguró Jokin de Irala, profesor de Medicina Preventiva de la Universidad de Navarra. La incidencia del virus en España es relativamente baja, pero se mantiene estable, lo cual “es muy preocupante”, señaló De Irala, ya que “significa que no se está combatiendo correctamente”. Problema añadido es que los tests “no dan positivo hasta pasado un mes de la infección”. “Se está haciendo un gran esfuerzo” para fomentar la prueba, pese a lo cual “muchos siguen sin hacerse la prueba tras mantener relaciones de riesgo”.

Tres armas para luchar contra el VIH
Ya en 1989, el Centro de Control de Enfermedades de Estados Unidos lanzó el “ABC” de la lucha contra el sida. A, por abstinencia; B, por fidelidad (“Be faithful”) y C, por condón. “Retrasar la edad de inicio sexual, la abstinencia y la fidelidad son las claves”, explica Jokin de Irala, que pone énfasis en que el condón “reduce, pero no elimina” el riesgo de contraer enfermedades o quedar embarazada. El informe anual ONUsida, sobre el estado de la pandemia en el mundo, “ya recoge el sexo antes de los 19 y las relaciones esporádicas entre jóvenes como indicadores del riesgo“. “Ningún país ha logrado bajar el sida con campañas basadas sólo en el preservativo”. “¿Por qué en España no se oye nada de la A y la B, cuando países como Alemania o Reino Unido lo incluyen en sus campañas institucionales?”, se cuestiona.

Började dagen med ett möte i vårt infrastrukturråd. Det består av 9 personer med intresse och kunskaper inom infrastrukturområdet. Vi konstaterade att det är en intensiv höst med flera planer och utredningar som skall vara klara. Extra spännande är det att se hur det går med sammanslagningen av Banverket och Vägverket. Vi diskuterade även framtidsfrågor för Västsverige, där vi bl a konstaterade att ITS är ett spännande område där det måste hända något. Västsverige har kompetensen och stort kunnande bland flera företag i regionen.

Vi hade även ett möte med de västsvenska personer som sitter i olika statliga bolag och myndighetsstyrelser. De har en stor erfarenhet och gav oss råd om hur vi ska gå vidare med våra aktiviteter för att få fler västsvenskar i offentliga styrelser. En av de viktigaste signalerna var att vi måste förändra bilden av västsvensken, som idag är antingen en gnällig eller “en go gubbe”. Vi måste även vidga vårt nätverk utanför Västsverige.

Avslutade veckan med att ha ett möte om hur vi ska komma igång med vindkrafttillverkning i regionen. Vi har avslutat vår första utredning och slutsatsen är att starta upp i liten skala inom ett efterfrågat område, t ex genom att starta tillverkning av torn och vingar. Två delar på ett vindkraftverk som inte är lämpliga att transportera längre sträckor. Vi beslutade att ha ett möte med berörda personer innan jul.

Waters Says He’ll Perform if Israel Tears Down Wall

Pink Floyd’s former frontman Roger Waters said Tuesday he’ll take to the stage the minute Israel tears down its West Bank separation wall, just as he did in Berlin two decades ago when another wall came down.

Visiting a Palestinian refugee camp in the shadows of the towering concrete structure, the British rocker who co-wrote the iconic 1970s album “The Wall” said he hopes “this awful thing is destroyed soon.”

Waters, 65, said the West Bank wall has been on his mind since he first saw it up close in what he described as an eye-opening visit in 2006, following a concert in Israel.

“People who haven’t actually seen this, what’s going on here, can’t actually imagine the impression that it has on you, the sick, kind of churning feeling that you get in your very heart when you see this, how depressing it is,” Waters told The Associated Press in an interview.

Water’s comments didn’t sit very well with Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev, who, quoting The Wall’s most famous lyric, said “we don’t need no education” from Waters.

Israel began building the barrier — a concrete wall in urban areas and fence with sensors and barbed wire along rural stretches — in 2002 following Palestinian bombings and shooting attacks on Israeli civilians. Israel insists it’s a temporary security measure.

Palestinians says it’s a land grab because, once the final third is built, it will slice off 10 percent of the West Bank, part of the lands they want for their state.

The stretch of barrier between Jerusalem and the biblical West Bank town of Bethlehem consists of graffiti-covered gray slabs, with army watchtowers rising up at intervals. At an Israeli-run wall crossing, large crowds of Palestinians wait in long lines, particularly during morning rush hour, to reach jobs in Israel.

On the northern outskirts of Bethlehem, the Aida refugee camp, home to about 5,000 Palestinians, abuts the wall. Palestinian officials often escort foreign dignitaries to the camp — among them Pope Benedict XVI during his Holy Land pilgrimage last month — to illustrate the disruption of daily life by the barrier.

Waters dismissed Israel’s security argument, saying he believes the wall “is not here to stop Israelis being blown up on buses.” He said if that was the sole reason, “what’s it doing in the occupied territories, surrounding settlements and cutting (Palestinian) farmers off from their olive trees and so on and so forth?”

“This is an exercise of colonialism,” said Waters.

Regev said the barrier has sharply reduced Palestinian attacks, which have killed hundreds of Israelis since the outbreak of Israeli-Palestinian fighting in 2000.

“We don’t need no education about suicide bombers coming into Israel and murdering innocent people, and how the security barrier has prevented that by more than 95 percent.”

But Waters said he believes the barrier is indefensible.

“When you stand in front of an edifice like this, whether it’s here or outside a township in South Africa, or in the Warsaw Ghetto during the Second World War, or in Berlin in the 60s and 70s, it’s something you know instinctively that this is wrong. It’s a bad thing,” he said. “It cannot survive forever.”

If it does come down one day, he said, he’ll perform at the site, just like he did in 1990, at a spot where the Berlin Wall had fallen just a year earlier. “In fact, I would insist on it,” he said.

In the meantime, he’s considering performing elsewhere in the West Bank, perhaps in the town of Ramallah, but has not made firm plans. On Monday, Waters visited a refugee camp in the northern town of Jenin to support efforts to reopen a local movie house that closed in 1987.

When he played in Israel in 2006, he was criticized by Palestinian activists trying to organize a cultural boycott of Israel. Waters said he now feels ambivalent about having performed in Israel.

Waters, who left Pink Floyd in 1985, ruled out a reunion with his former band mates; their last joint performance was in 2005, for a Live 8 concert. “We had a great career as Pink Floyd. We all enjoyed it. We all worked together and enjoyed everything and it was brilliant. I think it’s over,” he said.

It's A Wonderful Life (1946) began as a short story called "The Greatest Gift". The trek is in support of the band’s reunion effort, No Exit, which has been greeted with moderate success in the U.S. The album is No. 75 this week in its fifth week on the Billboard 200.

Bien que rien ne soit vraiment scientifique autant dans le processus que dans l’échantillonnage, j’ai réalisé qu’il n’y a pas de quoi se péter les bretelles avec l’honnêteté de notre classe sociale.

La question était simple : Et vous, si vous aviez l’herpès, seriez-vous aussi honnête?

J’avais divisé chacune des situations selon deux possibilités :

1) Vous avez l’herpès génital avec symptômes, vous avez donc des crises évidentes de temps à autre.

2) Vous êtes porteur sans symptôme (chanceux), donc asymptomatique.

Voici les résultats :
