Now pardon me for being crass, but this is blog-worthy. I’m sorry.

This morning I woke up after a sleepover with an applied mathematics major at Harvard.  He was a friend of a friend and was at the bar in athletics shorts and slippers.  Not joking.  I liked the idea that if I went home with him I would get a personalized tour of a Harvard dormitory.  I’m an architect’s daughter and a history minor, what do you want?  The dormitory was pretty cool but this kid’s room looked like a prison cell.  When I asked him if he considered himself an inmate of the Harvard University Asylum he did not laugh, though he did tell me he thought he loved me.  Also the building made so much noise.  I woke up at least seven times in the middle of the night to the pipes tweaking out and the walls creaking.  It was like being in at Hogwarts–simultaneously magic, mysterious, and confusing.  Also somehow medieval.  He had a fireplace!

Anyway, this morning I went into the bathroom to pee out the many cups of water I had drank to counteract my inevitable hangover.  As I approached the toilet I saw something bizarre swimming in it.

I approached.

This was a personal bathroom.

I drew closer.

There was a poop in the toilet.  A Harvard boy’s poop…

I panicked and weighed my options:

1. I could pee on top of it.  Ew.
2. I could flush it, then pee, but that would result in a double flush, then he would hear me.
3. I could leave it, but then he’d go into the bathroom later and KNOW I saw it.
4. I could just flush it away and hold my urine.  One flush.  He would suspect NOTHING.

I chose number 4 and then went and lay on the bedroom floor.  I noticed that I hadn’t seen this kid smile and/or laugh throughout the entire evening so I started yelling “lighten up! this world is a great place! laugh! smile!” to cheer him up.  Nothing.  He was sitting in a chair.  Then I reached for a book on the floor (Hesse’s Siddhartha, ironic, no?) and tried to playfully throw it at his shoulder.  Only I missed.  And hit him in the face.  He was not hurt.  He did not crack a smile.

I returned to the bathroom where my Ivy-Leaguer had MADE a saline solution for my contacts the night before (only at Harvard) but my eyes burned when I put the contacts in (heavy on the salt).  I would have to take the T as a blind person.  I literally couldn’t see anything.  It’s a good thing I went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast–my favorite restaurant where I have the menu memorized.

Then I rode the T for an hour around Cambridge and Boston blind, literally laughing out loud (people were staring) remembering the look of the poop in the toilet and the motion of Siddhartha hitting his stoic face.

Guess I can check that off the list.

Rada kaget pas baca artikel ini.Yaps, Ivy Onnie menutup minihompy nya atau yang biasa kita dengar dengan sebutan Cyworld.

Sebelumnya kita tahu kalo Cyworld Ivy diserang para Hottest karena penampilannya yang dinilai terlalu seksi saat tampil bersama Nichkhun di acara MAMA tanggal 21 November yang lalu.

Tapi Ivy Onnie bilang kalo alasan dia menutup Cyworldnya bukan karena fans 2PM. Lalu?? Akh,, benarkah??

Ivy sebelumnya menuliss di Cyworld nya dengan tulisan “Terima Kasih Hottest”. Dan ketika ditanya apakah alasannya para Hootest sehingga ia menutup Cyworldnya ia bilang “Ini adalah sebuah kesalahpahaman”

“Meskipun ada yang fans yang meninggalkan komentar bashing dan itu sangat menyakitkan Cyworldku, namun pesan yang saya maksud itu adalah untuk orang2 yang memuji saya untuk kinerja saya saat itu. Saya ingin mengucapkan terimakasih kepada orang2 maka pesan ini aku posting ketika Cyworld ini aku tutup”

ahhh loooong since i updated. just finished my exams yesterday not that i studied that much heeee and well, i’ll try to keep up on some past updates and newer ones

2PM recently performed at K-POP Night in China, Shanghai on the 25th. When 2PM was in their prep room, they were asked if their first album’s title, 1:59PM, means the missing spot of Jaebeom, which many Hottest fans are interpreting by.

The members commented, “It means that we are waiting for Jaebeom hyung. But because he isn’t here right now, it couldn’t be 2 o’clock.” They were then asked if the album title also meant that 2PM is incomplete because of Jaebeom. Their response was, “Yes it does.“

This idea came from their producer, Park Jin Young. They commented, “During our discussions with our producer Park Jin Young, he brought up the idea of 1:59PM. We thought it was a good title as we were waiting for Jaebeom hyung.“

Ever since before their promotions of their title-song Heartbeat, they have been called the “beastly idols.” Regarding this title, Taecyeon commented, “Originally, the word ‘beastly’ used on males were offensive, but because the fans gave us this name after watching our performances, we are satisfied. There is a pride in the meaning as it holds a wild masculine image.” He then joked, “But after the fans recently saw our ‘Heartbeat’ choreography, they are now calling us ‘zombie idols.’” The members commented, “The [zombie] choreography doesn’t depend on acrobatics and it was an experimental performance.“

Wooyoung continued, “Our bodies are like general orthopedics. We try various actions and we get hurt. The choreography that each of the members perform at the end of Heartbeat always changes. Our backs, wrists, ankles, etc – there isn’t a place where it doesn’t hurt.“

Wooyoung wrote a short and sweet “Thank you” on his minihompy, with fans leaving hundreds of comments, such as, “Don’t cry. Let’s wait forJaebeom together,” “Seeing you cry hurt me. Be strong!“, “It makes me wonder how much you suffered… You are still a young idol too.”

Taecyeon also left a few words: “We will work hard. Thank you.”

Hey! Long time no see!!! Sorry about that. There were some complications going on with the settings in the Matrix of Life; some corrupted code that I needed to take care of.

As you can see, it's a pretty difficult programming language to play around with.

So, I’m going to explain some things that have been going on – or, more like, have gone on. For example, everyone in my class yesterday had an official publishing party, without the girls and poles of course (and, instead, all boys), so what we were supposed to do was make a public speech where you introduce the winner of a certain award. The award was for the best participant in orgies. And, if you haven’t noticed, I have just finished cracking a joke. Though it probably wasn’t quite funny.

Some of us were given special roles, though, since we made considerable progress, or could not do much more progress than had already been done. I have a perfect 13 for my ITBS, meaning, my reading and writing capabilities are supposedly at college level, and I’m only in eighth grade. If I can’t brag, I can gloat. If I can’t do it in public, I can do it on a blog – however public a blog is as well.

So what role did I play? I was “DJ” (Dick Jerker) – though I think that’s more of a euphemism. I was just the put-music-during-transitions-from-public-speech-to-public-speech person, which was quite enjoyable for me, since I like poppin’ and then showin’ off my tunes (as in my penis).

Like, Cult of Personality, or some other cool ones like White Light by Gorillaz, Feather by Nujabes (featuring some other guy who does the rapping), Prodigy, Motorhead, but, of course, Led Zeppelin.

I had perfect timing on the breaks for the most part, and people actually liked the music. I tried to put music of all genres insofar as they fit the occasion. Mostly hip hop and rock. This is because audience’s won’t always have the same tastes – some will think rap is shitty. I’m not a big fan of rap, except for some jazz rap. So I compromised, and put some jazz rap, which I call candy rap.

Candy rap.

Primarily because it has a sweetening instrumental sound that soothes the ear, backing up the rap so it sounds like spoken word – I also call that hip hop.

I always knew my music wasn’t shitty, like a pile of shit. Sometimes the audience bobbed their heads, and sometimes the “award winners” (actors, really) would dance to it also, just to make themselves look absolutely ridiculous.

I was the Jesus of music during the whole show, yet I had not gotten nailed.

DJ Jesus: "I turned whine into music. And I turntabled music into dance."

My language arts teacher also decided to let me borrow his Operation Ivy CD for me to listen to, also. It was radical, dude. \m/

Damn it, it’s getting dark. And I hate that, because it sort of numbs my mind a little. But, oh well. I’ll find some excitement and adventure again eventually.

I’ve started to try and work things out again with Mickey, after some inner emotional doubt, and then a bit of sullen-ness. Which I think didn’t help much, and I hope she feels better. Sometimes I have no idea what direction I’m taking, or whether I’m doing something awry. But that will only be relevant when it doesn’t work out, right? Right. I hope so.

And, Abe? Well, things have been going fine with him and me, as friends, really. I still rate him a 45. While, last school year, it would’ve been a 25. He says he wishes he would’ve never met me or talked to me, which was a severe blow.  But then he said, well, I’m better than I was last year. I guess he said that only because my eyes met the ground once he said the former. I don’t completely understand, though, of course.

Now I’m going to go to a Thanksgiving family party, to stuff some turkey anally.

Excuse the sexual language, ma'am.

I have a lot of things to give thanks to. Like, maybe boobs, shaven Turkeys, myself..but, I don’t think I’m ready for Thanksgiving. I feel more compelled to ask for something than to give thanks. I want things to get back as they once were; well, just that they ride towards the better.

The ivy carnage was not pretty. A little, empty nest fell out of the shrubbery while I was pulling at some ivy to pull it off the shrubs. Luckily the nest was not recently lived in, but someone had carefully selected a section of hedge that had a plastic bag stuck in it, and built the nest on top of that. Meanwhile the red tail hawk patrolled the neighborhood, the crows kept tags on the hawk, and I tried to ignore the neighborhood rock band that was crucifying something by Midnight Oil.

Methinks if there is ever a sunny day on a weekend, I will be spending them attacking more ivy in the hedge. Crossed fingers that we can maybe get the jump on it and manage to get in a day of mowing too.

And on a topical note, Happy Thanksgiving! I may not get to see all my family and friends this holiday, but I’m thinking of all of you.

2PM قاموا بالأداء في K-POP Night في الصين في الـ25 من نوفمبر, قام المعجبين بالتجمهر حولهم , كما كان هناك الكثير من المعجبين الذين انتظروهم في المطار, و العشرات من المعجبين قاموا بتتبع 2PM بسياراتهم و سيارات الأجرة. وكان في الحفل معجبين يحملون لوحات مكتوب عليها “2PM=7“

عندما كانوا 2PM في غرفة التحضير, سألوهم إذا كان عنوان البومهم الجديد 1:59PM يعني بقعة Jaebeom المفقودة, كما فسّرها العديد من المعجبين.
و قد علّق الأعضاء :

“يعني بأننا ننتظر Jaebeom هيونغ. لكن لأنه ليس هنا الآن, لا يمكن أن تكون الساعة الثانية (2PM).

ثم سألوهم إذا كان عنوان الألبوم يعني بأن 2PM ناقصين بسبب Jaebeom , و كان ردهم “نعم, هو كذلك.”

هذه الفكرة جاءت من منتجهم Park JinYoung المعروف بـJYP, وقد علقّوا:

” خلال مناقشاتنا مع منتجنا Park JinYoung, عرض فكرة 1:59PM. و فكرنا بأنه عنوان جيد بما أننا ننتظر Jaebeom هيونغ.”

من قبل ترويجهم لأغنية “Heartbeat” كأغنيتهم الرئيسية, تم تسميتهم بـ”Beastly Idols” أي “المشاهير المتوحشين”.

علّق Taecyeon على هذا:

في الأصل, كلمة متوحش مهينة عندما تستخدم للذكور, لكن بما أن المعجبين أعطونا هذا اللقب بعد مشاهدة أداءاتنا, نحن راضون. هناك فخر في المعنى بينما يحمل صورة مذكّرة وحشية. لكن بعد أن شاهدوا رقصة “Heartbeat“,  لقبونا الان بـ”zombie idols” أي ” المشاهير الزومبي”.

و قد علق الأعضاء :

” رقصة الزومبي لا تعتمد على أي رقص (acrobatics-اكروباتيكس) بهلواني و لقد كان أداءاً تجريبياً.”

و أكمل WooYoung :

” أجسادنا مثل جراحة العظام العامة, نجرّب حركات جديدة و نتأذى, الرقص الذي يؤديه كل من الأعضاء في نهاية “Heartbeat” يتغير دائماً.
ظهورنا و أرساغنا و كواحلنا…الخ, ليس هناك مكان لا يتأذى”.

بالرغم من أن 2PM كانوا ناجحين في كوريا حيث ربحوا جائزة أفضل الفنانين هذه السنة في حفل MAMA 2009 , لكن نجاحهم المستقبلي في الخارج مشكوك فيه.
علّق الأعضاء:

“بالرغم من اننا نحصل على الكثير من الحب في كوريا, نحن نشعر بالفضول كيف ستكون ردّة فعل الناس من الخارج. للأسف سنغادر شنغهاي في الـ26 من نوفمبر, و لكننا سنعود بصفتنا ضيوف في حفلة Wonder Girls في شنغهاي.”

و سألوا NichKhun عن أداءه في حفلMAMA مع Ivy والتي اضطرت أن تغلق صفحتها الشخصية بسبب إساءة بعض المعجبين لها.
فقال :

“أثناء الأداء مع Ivy نونا, لقد أحرجت قليلاً, لكن أنا آسف على Ivy نونا. الأداء هو مجرد أداء, أتمنى أن تنظروا إليه هكذا.”

This morning I read the Rotterdam edition of Metro and I felt proud.  From today, the number of restaurants with a Michelin star in Rotterdam is four.  Besides the two brand new Michelin star rated restaurants Fred and Ivy, we have also Amarone (one star) and Parkheuvel. (two stars)

لقد هوجمت المغنيه Ivy من معجبين 2PM بسبب الاداء الذي قامت به مع Nichkhun

لقد اعتقدنا ان الهجوم فقط سوف يستمر لعدة لحظات بسبب الغيره من المعجبات ولكن الامر استمر بالتعليقات المسيئه

ولقد قامت باغلاق صفحتها في موقع Cyworld ولقد قامت بالكتابه في صفحتها ” شكراً لـ الـ Hottest ! سوف اقوم باغلاق صفحتي لبعض الوقت “

وبهذا يبدو انه لم تكن لديها النيه في اغضاب معجبين Nichkhun بالاداء وليس فقط هذا ولكن الاداء لم يكن فكرتها بالاصل !

وعلى ما يبدو فان التعليقات كانت مسيئه وسيئه جداً ولكن لم تستحقها لان الفكره لم تكن فكرتها بالاصل !
