Jason Biggs est très mignon en Dorothy xD, Kyle avait en 2007 un costume qui pourrait inspirer les scénaristes de Desperate Housewives et Mariah Carey a (étrangement) une tendance à être plutôt décostumée… Oh et Paris Hilton est fidèle à elle-même.

One of my favorite musicians, Ozzy Osbourne, had a popular reality TV show about his family life titled “The Osbournes“.

He, his wife Sharon and his two youngest children Jack and Kelly were the regular stars (Ozzy’s older son Louis appeared in the series occasionally…but his daughter Aimee refused to ever appear).

Ozzy’s son, Jack Osbourne, became overweight…so he went on an extreme exercise and diet regime.
It was all recorded as Jack’s own reality show and is now available on DVD in Japan.

The title of Jack’s show in Japan is 「アドレナリン・ダイエット」 (“Adrenaline Diet“).

And Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne also has her own reality show now too.

Ever since her first visit to Tokyo, Kelly has fallen in love with this city and the culture.
So the premise of her reality show is that she stayed in Japan for five weeks and worked at a variety of unusual, only-in-Japan types of jobs to see if she would still love this country after working in love hotels, maid cafes, a Japanese school, etc.

The name of her show in Japan is 「私は日本人になる」 (“(I’m) Turning Japanese“).

Kelly had a recent interview with the Houston Chronicle where she opened up about her past drug addictions.  Her illness stemmed from her mother’s bout with colon cancer the her father’s quad-bike accident.  She had this to say:

I was trying to be strong, so I took Vicodin to hide the terrible sadness. I was waking up and emptying six Vicodin into my hand,” Osbourne reveals. “Soon I was taking 50 pills a day. Most people would overdose on 10.” The 24-year-old’s escalating habit eventually led to a stay in the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Center.

I don’t know what kind of superstar, gerry-rigged vicodin she was taking but 10 vicodin doesn’t do shit.  50 is a different story but if you took 50 for more than even 3 days, you’d keel over from the stomach pain.  Vicodin contains Acetaminophen which doesn’t get you high but, when taken in high doses (50 is really high), eats away your stomach lining and you are in so much pain no amount of morphine would comfort you.

She is lying or she isn’t telling the truth.  Either one.  Why not just jump to something harder?  She could have taken 5 percocet instead of 50 vicodin and gotten just as high and spent 90% less.  Kelly, keep your bullshit addiction sob stories to yourself.  Come back to me when you’ve even heard of oxycontin.  At least that point we’ll know you’re actually getting high from your pills and not just looking for profitable fodder for the trash mags.

Howdy.  So there’s a teaser up for this new Ozzy documentary that son Jack Osbourne is executive producing for his company Jacko Productions.  It seems like the thinking behind this doc is to more or less provide the anti-MTV look at Ozzy’s life and this is extremely evident in the teaser trailer’s tone and music choice.  Unfortunately, I can’t do an embed here but go visit this link to check out the vid.  I have mixed feelings about this trailer (and, yeah, I know it’s just a tease).  While I certainly don’t think the MTV show was ever an extremely accurate reflection of who Ozzy is – there’s definitely an agenda to how those shows are edited – I’m not sure there won’t be just as big of an agenda with how this doc is put together.  In fact, part of me feels like if you simply put a different song on this trailer and brought up the actual audio that you could have footage that plays exactly like the MTV show.  And how are we supposed to take this documentary serious when we know the following is waiting for us in the wings?

I’ll withhold further judgment until I’ve seen the film, but hey – if Jack can get away with making a serious portrait of his father and family while still participating in whatever the hell this Fox show is, then more power to him…

Personally, I like Ozzy just the way he is.  He may come off as the fumbling, bumbling suburban father with tattoos but I’ve never seen footage of him that made him out to be anything but an extremely nice guy.  Everybody knows the whole “Prince of Darkness” thing is just an act at this point (and probably always has been) and I don’t know anyone who isn’t perfectly okay with that.  The Ozzy I grew up with has certainly changed, but if younger generations have any question about who he is or why he matters all they need to do is listen to his music.  No number of reality shows or documentaries are going to alter what was put on record and it’s those records that are sole reason Ozzy’s famous in the first place.  He may mumble off stage, but on stage his voice is loud and clear and, really, what else do we want from a musician?

Well I had to check out the Osbournes Reloaded that first aired March 31, 2009.  This is a new variety type show starting the Osbournes.  Well  it was different.  Can’t do a full review because they only aired one show so far.  Some of it was funny.  Like when Ozzy made fun of Flashdance and when they were at the drive thru.  The on stage stuff seemed like they were trying to hard to be edgy.  Many be the next show will not try so hard.

Jack Osbourne took the news in 2002 that his mother Sharon Osbourne had colon cancer very hard. He was devastated to think of his beloved mum being in such pain.

Osbourne attempted to kill himself using OxyContin and Valium.

“I started getting suicidal,” Osbourne told In Touch. “I was just doing loads of drugs and drinking. I was miserable.”

Jack, who is now 23, first ran into drug problems at the tender age of 13. By Easter 2003, he had hit bottom.

“I disappeared for the long weekend,” h said. “When I came back, I knew I needed help. I was like ‘Okay, I will do this.’”

Jack, who has reunited with the rest of the clan for the new reality show Osbournes Reloaded, which will debut tomorrow, got some advice from his father.
