Britney Spears is back in Europe (yes, she was in Europe, came back to the US, then high-tailed it back to Europe to tour.  I don’t know.  It’s Britney — what more can I say) wrapping up her Circus tour.  She brought her boys’ to see the Eiffel Tower.  On a side note …. is Britney Jewish?  If not, why does she have the Star of David around her neck.  Oh, yeah … again, it’s Britney.  Who knows why she has it on?  She probably just likes the necklace. 

K-Fed was also in Paris with their kids’ — AND HIS GIRLFRIEND, Victoria Prince!  You know who’s footing the bill for that.  G-d, that’s gotta sting.  Here are some lovely, family photos below:

Britney Spears was seen in the first photo at a Starbucks in L.A. on Friday sporting blonde hair, a yellow top and daisy dukes.  On Monday, she was spotted in L.A. at Bed, Bath & Beyond wearing the same shorts, same shoes (she has white flip-flops on in both photos — the SAME white flip-flops) and probably the same undergarments.  She was wearing an orange top (I know! I know!  The whole Cheetos thing).  But, this time — she surfaced as a brunette.

Britney was looking good while signing autographs for fans in London this week.  She is currently wrapping up the last leg of her Circus tour in London.

No!  All three pictures are NOT from the same show.  However, people are only complaining to ticket master about receiving refunds for one of the shows.

Lynn Spears made an appearance this week on the Today Show, and was interviewed by Meredith Vieira.  Her appearance was to discuss her book, which hit shelves yesterday, but wandered off the path a little bit to discuss Jaime Lynn and Britney. 

Lynn revealed that Jaime Lynn told her she was pregnant with a note, in this excerpt from the video:

Jamie Lynn handed her mother a note and told her to go into her bedroom to read it. “It said she was pregnant and everything was going to be OK. She was going to raise it … I thought it was a joke. I was waiting for the punch line,” Lynne told Vieira.
“I was in shock. I think I was just truly in shock, and then I started to cry. And she started consoling me at that point.”

As for Britney…“The Rolling Stone interview, we were so in awe. She’s just beginning. She’s just coming on the scene. We didn’t really know what we were doing. We were in shock at what was going on, and we were in awe. We didn’t have any choice in the pictures. We had no one that could tell us what we were supposed to be doing. “As a mother, don’t we always blame ourselves?” she asked Vieira rhetorically. “I took a lot of the blame. I took all the blame. The personality I have, it’s always my fault.”

But when reflecting on the future, she is very optomistic in her approach…

“We’re through the storm and we’re looking at the sunshine right now.”

Airport police were able to trick paparazzi with a fake Jamie Lynn Spears.  While the paps’ cameras clicked away at the fake Jamie Lynn, the real JL and baby Maddie left through a different area. Cops say they had nothing to do with the switch.

“All (the officers) did was follow the crowd down to the baggage area,” said Sgt. Jim Holcomb of the Los Angeles airport police. “The people they were following assumed that this was Spears because she was blonde.”

Holcomb said it’s against department policy to provide security for celebrities, but officers were willing to do it after the Spears family asked for an escort for Jamie Lynn, her baby, her mother and her older sister Britney, who ended up being a no-show.

“If there’s extenuating circumstances, we can do what we need to do,” Holcomb said. “If there was no baby — hey, you’re on your own. You’re an adult.” Source

It’s so good to be home. I just keep thinking about it ever since we got back from our trip. The last 5 days we were in Canada, we were at a remote cabin on a lake that had no tv, no electricity, no cell phone reception and of course, no internet. There were no neighbors to speak of and nothing was on the schedule except for fishing and horseshoes. It was cool for like 2 hours and then I was wondering who was getting evicted on Big Brother. Some friends came to stay after a couple days and they brought a day old newspaper that was news to us because we’d been out there without any news for days. Reading that day old newspaper, I found myself savoring the stories about the Olympics in China and other world events that we didn’t know anything about. A bear attack in Vancouver became the talk of the afternoon.

After four days in the cabin, our hosts asked us if we’d like to take a boat ride and visit their daughter’s house. I screamed out, “I would!!” before they could finish their sentence. They set a departure time for a couple hours later, but within minutes, I had my camera and cell phone ready. I told Maddie we were going to a real house where we could recharge our ipods and maybe even surf the internet. We hung out on the front porch, near the boat, in case they decided on an earlier departure. I wanted to make sure we weren’t left behind.

An hour or so later, we loaded up the boats and cruised for about 20 minutes until we arrived at the house. It was an adorable floating lake house, very similar to what we had been staying in. The owners proudly took us on a tour of the little 2 bedroom and noticeably absent was any technology of any kind. No tv. No computer. No internet. Maddie glared at me like I had purposefully deceived her. We sat on the front porch and drank beers as we watched the water all around us. It was the longest five days of my life.

Returning home we were in the Seattle airport on an hour long layover when we walked past a gift shop filled with celebrity gossip magazines of all sorts. OK! Magazine cried out, “Jaime Lynn’s Betrayal!” and my heart surged in happiness. It’s so good to be home.

- AB Quintanilla continues to bash Pee Wee and cautions anyone who is thinking of offering him a record deal. “When you sign the contracts, aside from having a notary and all other legalities, please take video cameras, just in case that he gets another case of amnesia.” Pee Wee claims that a contract that binds him to AB is not valid because he never signed it.

Ok, it’s been a long time since I blogged about celebrities. True, they give a blogger so much to write about. They are wild and crazy and adopt way too many babies from foreign lands. And they are WAY more insecure than you or I. But instead of it being all about them, let’s make it all about us! I’m posting forth a quiz to you all called

Myself, I’d take Britney, because sadly enough, I feel she is the less annoying sister.

Tough one, as both would be very scary. And since I recently saw a picture of Kim’s butt cleavage I think I’d be able to fight Oprah off, so I’ll pick Oprah. Come on, you know Oprah and Gail are a couple …

3. Would you rather party with Amy Winehouse or Paris Hilton for 72 hours straight?

This may be the toughest question of all. Both are hard core party gilrs, but I’ll pick Paris, as one, crack is whack; and two, Paris woun’t end us up in jail.

4. Would you rather feed Mary Kate Olsen a sandwich or bitch-slap Lauren Conrad (L.C.) from The Hills?

Mary Kate needs more meat on her bones, but man, that L.C. bugs the crap out of me … how is she even famous?

5. Would you rather be haunted by Anna Nicole Smith’s ghost or be Lindsay Lohan’s drug dealer?

Again, another tough one. I just can’t imagine trying to lay in my bed and hearing Anna bleat out “Hi, boo, pumpkin pooh” so I’ll take Lindsay always trying to get free coke off of me … lesser of two evils.

Gloucester High School is now dealing with a slew of baby mama drama. People are asking how these seventeen girls under seventeen could have made some idiotic pact to get pregnant together and raise their babies together. When anything in the black community happens such as teen pregnancy or drug usage or how about violence the first question that is asked is where the parents are. What kinds of parents are in Gloucester that they have NO idea that their children are out very well sleeping with 24 year old transients? I have yet to hear from Bill Cosby asking those parents to take responsibility or better yet for the whole white community to take responsibility for this group of blatantly idiotic white girls thinking that a baby will somehow make them happy.

They were saying stupid things such as they wanted the baby so they could feel loved. Well then I think any mother can safely say that those girls have not been around too many newborns or toddlers. Because you don’t really feel the love or at least you don’t have time to stop and feel the love. There are just too many dirty diapers, screaming tantrums, sleepless nights and many, many other issues to deal with. Regardless of all these facts a baby is one of the wonderful joys that life has to offer. Yet I don’t think that a bunch of unprepared young single mothers who don’t have a clue as to what they are getting into will be able to grasp this. Hell they couldn’t even grasp the idea of birth control or the fact that maybe those baby daddies didn’t want to hold that title.

Maybe these girls are idolizing Jaime Lynn Spears or maybe they just want to show solidarity with her. The idea of under age girls getting pregnant or even having unprotected sex should not be that far fetched. I mean don’t the people in that town watch television or movies where underage sex is all too common and in fact glorified. Don’t blame these girls, blame their parents. Why would these girls need to a baby to feel loved if they were getting what they needed from their parents? I mean these are the same parents who obviously didn’t pay enough attention to these girls that they were able to make a pact to get pregnant then complete their plan which probably didn’t happen all in one night.

I guess if there weren’t about twenty five or so girls at my sons school that were pregnant at this time I would think this news was extremely interesting. But I guess the fact that these girls are black and the school is in the inner city it is to be expected. In fact not only is it to be expected but it is just not interesting or a problem because that is what “those people” do, right? I guess it isn’t just what “those people” do anymore. I suppose it is now what all those kids do now. I wonder if this will prompt some sort of outcry and if it does will that same outcry for better education trickle down to the inner cities as well. My guess will be that it will be isolated to that one spot and the epidemic of teen pregnancies among the inner city youth will continue unabated.

The AJ-puke reports that (SHOCK) Lake Lanier is evaporating to the tune of 130M gallons a day.  Really?  Evaporation?  Um, does this mean the environmental lefties want to blot out the sun now?

Headline:  Kudzu to be used as a biofuel.  It is about time.  Maybe now we can get off this corn for fuel crap.

Obama is a smoker.  Shame.  I guess the VP he chooses will need to be prepared to take office.

News reports state Obama is Carter’s second term while McCain is Bush’s third term.  In 2008, you would think that we would be going in a different direction but strange how history is repeating itself.  All I know is that I am not sure I can deal with another 12 years of Reaganomics.  Or parachute pants.

Candidates for chairman for the Gwinnett County Commission state they support transit alternatives for the county but refuse to pay the tax to fund it.  Um.  And how do you plan to pay for it then?  One said it is not “sound fiscal policy”.  And sitting in traffic for 2 hours buring $4/gal fuel is?  Idiots.  God forbid a gay man in Midtown rides the train all the way to Gwinnett just to rob a house.  Dumbasses.

Girls in Mass. make a preganancy pact.  According to the news, one father is a 24-year-old homeless man.  Is this what our world has turned into?  Now we have several fatherless children who’s mothers will be on welfare for the balance of their lives.  Sounds familar.  Trash.  And my question is where is the parental supervision?  Blind.

A man starts a small fire on a jet because the stewardess refused to serve him a beverage.  He should blacklisted for life from flying.  Period.  But no, the ACLU would sue the airline into bankruptcy for violating some sort of “right” I am sure.

Lady sues Victoria’s Secret for a defective thong.  Now I have not seen a picture of her but I did find out she is 54.  What are the chances she is like 200 pounds?  And probably lives in a trailor?  And probably has several fatherless children?  But I digress… 

Jaime Lynn Spears has her baby…at 17.  You know, Diva is approaching 12 and it is hard enough to “protect” her without having one of her favorite show’s stars becoming a mother at 17.  I hope she (Jaime Lynn) fades away to the trailor like her sister has done.  Calling K-Fed?  K-Fed?  Anyone?

Today Celeb*tchy reavealed that 16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears sister of Britney Spears is not pregnant! Jamie was freaked out that she didn’t get her period and screamed at the top of her lungs.She told Britney at first who told their mom who was p*ssed off that she told Britney first.Yesterday Jamie took the pregnany test and it said negative! 

       For the last few months…the party girls of the celebrity world have been toning it down.  When everything was so very out of control on the scandal sheets, regarding  Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton and other’s; the papers started focussing on those with the good girl, role model image. 

         It seemed that they couldn’t wait to build them up; and, slyly they WONDERED IF MILEY CYRUS, and others like her, wouldn’t also soon be on the same path to self destruction.  Their headlines screamed a false concern about the future of those in the limelight; would they too end up on drugs/alcohol/addicted to sex, and the partying lifestyle?  Please, it is just a ploy to sell newspapers!

       Then last year, when Jaime Lynn Spears announced her pre-marital pregnancy…it was almost with glee, that they had another poster girl to shine the light on.  Now that Jaime Lynn has pulled back out of the glare of the press…Miley Cyrus has been moved to the front of the line for the tick tock of the self- destruction time bomb that the tabloid rags have been trying to promote.

       Last week, there were some photos put online that show Miley in her underwear.  She has apologized for those “inappropriate photos”.  Then today, there were some pictures taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, for the equally famous magazine Vanity Fair, which Miley says, she thought were going to be “artistic” shots.  Even if they would have been purely “artistic” shots….why should a 15 year old be allowed to put it out there for public viewing?  Bad decision…someone should have put an end to the idea before it became reality.  Teens don’t always want to hear advice about what is right and wrong…but, still someone should have pointed out that this was a really, really, bad idea!

         Hello, where were her advisors, the ones from her family or from her show, to guide and protect a barely 15 year old girl from making such a mistake?  Was there no contract that gave her creative control over which pictures would be used; thereby, saving her from what she has allegedly described as “embarassment” over these latest pictures?  I have only seen one…and that picture shows her wrapped in a sheet with a bare back.  If a regular person took this kind of “artistic” shots…because of her age…it could be considered objectionable or suspicious by law enforcement.

        Who in their right mind would promote a 15 year old girl in such photos for a magazine?  What kind of message is that sending?  I mean come on…”artistic” is one thing…but, this is not an adult woman.  I think that there are some adults involved here who could have used better judgement. 

       I know that Miley Cyrus has been upfront about her faith guiding her footsteps. These types of decisions will not only hurt her professionally, but, it can also damage her testimony as a Christian.   No, she is not perfect…none of us are.  We expect her to make mistakes as she grows up just like the rest of us have; however, eyes are watching her.

        However, because she is NOT an adult…it would be wise if her management would make sure that she is better protected from those in the industry who would take advantage of her fame. If her advisors put their stamp of approval on this project…then maybe they need replacing.    After all, they allegedly allowed her to be put in this position by making an error in judgement regarding these photos.
