Xavier Trias es un politico catalan y el presidente de la Fundació Ictus (dato del que me entere el dia que se hizo un evento relacionado con el ictus), vi que en su pagina web tenia un apartado de contacto y le escribi unas lineas sobre mi situacion y muy amablemente me dio dia y hora en el ayuntamiento para reunirme con el.  Seguramente se saque poco en claro y todo tenga el hilo musical de fondo de “que mal esta todo” pero reunirse con un politico para tratar un tema que a otros artistas tambien es posible que afecte como mi problema con la Seguridad Social da la impresion de estar aportando algo a esta negativa situacion.

Como este es un blog abierto a participacion (aunque ya se la escasa por lo concreto que trata el blog) los politicos tambien son de “uso” público, asi que si alguien me quiere hacer llegar alguna pregunta

Do your little girls watch America’s Next Top Model? Do you let them watch fashion shows? I know with mine she’s never actually seen a show (that I know of) yet she’s a model wannabe! Jaime was no exception – I know her mum was surprised. We had lots of fun – wish you could see more…

I’m completely charmed by this short film by Japanese director, Kosai Sekine. Not only does it satisfy my deep love of Japan, Japanese convenience stores and eccentricity in general, but it has a subtle message about being your true self and finding where you belong in the world.

… So, I have been compared to Janet Jackson about four times in the past two months – the last time was at a recent basketball game. I know my wife is strange, but that is that such a bad thing? It takes people who are weird to get things done. Like…Thomas Jefferson. He was a weirdo. He flew kites in the middle of a lightning storm. He was a pioneer!, and a good role model, at that! Maybe not a role model. Kids flying kites in the middle of storms is a bad idea. I digress!

You shouldn’t be so hard on her, PoO. (I said poo.) She means well 99% of the time. Even if it ends horribly, she really does. She doesn’t mean to call you a Ho, or insult your intelligence by typing such difficult words like ‘touche’.

She apologizes to strangers. Even to strangers that she didn’t mean to not insult. She really is wonderful once you get to know her. How she is wonderful, oh how I should list the ways. For her benefit.

1) She puts her tube of chapstick into her nose. She runs out of pocket space, I guess.
2) Sometimes when she laughs too hard, she snorts. A wonder to behold.
3) Gift cards are her preferred gift of choice. How great is that!?
4) Participation in every single “support” cause is a must.
5) Her addiction to Facebook games isn’t because she’s weird, it’s cuz she has nothing else better to do with her time.
6) Breakfast consists of chocolate milk.
7) She doesn’t collect dimes. She doesn’t spend them. There’s a difference. Get you head out you ass and reco-nize!
8.) Self proclaimed geek. It’s so kawaii.
9) She thinks I’m handsome.
10) Married me.
11) She’s really cool! … No, seriously. She is.

See? This proves it. She isn’t weird at all. If you’d only give her the chance to show you. I, for one, find that your sudden disconnections are rude. You wouldn’t do that to a stranger, would you? Just…walk away from them in the middle of a sentence. I guess you would, in retrospect Netiquette does not mean being an ass.

Starting over. The last blog bored me so new beginning.  There is a ton going on and a blog just seems right. Starting a new line with mon ami, Michael Louis, titled Isabella Louis.  We’ll be showing our first full collection Spring 2010 in Boston so stick around and check out our progress. If nothing is on the page yet, hold your horses, we’re getting to it.

Getting ready to open a new shop in Boston, really cool concept, I’ll be working on it all December.  Can’t leak too much information but if you are some type of amazingly cool stylist and you want to work and show off that talent let me know.  

And of course, working on The Boston Bazaar, we’re not just a magazine – we’re a powerhouse and we have so much coming up.  We’re going to print and we’ll be hosting an amazing magazine release in Boston.

So, here marks the begining.

La nueva temporada de The Jonathan Ross Show estrena en América Latina exclusivamente a través de BBC Entertainment, todos los jueves a las 22h00 (Horario de México), a partir del 12 de noviembre.

Para iniciar esta temporada sus Invitados son: Jamie Oliver, un famoso Chef Inglés, Ricky Gervais, creador de THE OFFICE,  y Mika el cantante inglés que tanta fama ha tenido con hits como “Grace Kelly” y “Love Today”.

Le 20 novembre sort Super Mario Bros sur la Wii. Les aventures du plombier italien sont mes préférées depuis mes 4-5 ans, quand mon papa m’apprenait à jouer à la NES avec Mario Bros 3 (le meilleur des Mario à mon goût). Alors forcément, je voue un culte à Mario dans les consoles : je piquais à mon voisin la version pour Game Boy, boudé ma Playstation quand j’ai compris que seul Nintendo avait Mario (j’étais petite, je ne comprenais pas tout), et supplié ma mère d’acheter la version DS quand elle s’est procurée la console.

Dans cette nouvelle version, tu peux incarner Mario mais aussi Luigi ou Toad. On y retrouve aussi de nouvelles fonctionnalités comme soulever les adversaires ou les lancer dans les airs. Et grosse nouveauté : il peut se jouer seul ou en version multijoueurs, ce qui peut être sympa lors des soirées wii entre amis.

C’était le 11 novembre, jour férié s’il en est, que Canal + a concocté un programme fort en action pour ses abonnés. De 15H20 à 22H30, les super héros se sont succédés pour enchanter les téléspectateurs de la chaîne payante. L’Incroyable Hulk ouvrait le bal, suivi de près par l’acariâtre Hancock (incarné par Will Smith) et du richissime Iron Man, Hellboy fermant la marche des super héros dans le deuxième opus de Guillermo del Toro.

Quelle bonne journée de télévision pour moi qui adore les super héros, leurs pouvoirs étranges et leurs différences par rapport aux “simples mortels”. Pour un fan de fantastique comme moi, le programme de Canal + était sans conteste celui à ne pas rater.

Mais la bataille a fait rage parmi les chaînes hertziennes avec Shrek sur TF1 en début d’après-midi et le mélange Grey’s Anatomy - Private Practice en soirée, Et au milieu coule une rivière avec Brad Pitt sur la deuxième chaîne, ainsi que les deux Crocodile Dundee sur M6. Et aussi sur la TNT : TMC pariait sur la jeunesse avec Taram et le chaudron magique et Tarzan 2, NRJ 12 sur la comédie avec Coluche dans son rôle de Dagobert, et le film Qui veut la peau de Roger Rabbit ?

Un jour férié, c’est l’occasion pour toutes les chaînes du PAF de sortir ses plus beaux atouts pour faire de l’audience. Malgré tout, certaines d’entre elles choisissent de ne pas perturber les habitudes du téléspectateur et diffusent les mêmes programmes qu’un jour normal. C’est le cas de W9 notamment, pourtant co-leader de la TNT avec TMC.

Alors, vivement le prochain jour férié et ses programmes toujours plus attirant. Et que vivent les super héros !
