If antiquing is your thing then the next few weekends will keep you plenty busy traveling to some of the season’s best outdoor and indoor shows.
Here are a few happening in the area.
■ The Athens School House Antiques Show is Friday through Sunday at 6270 Athens-Walnut Hill Road. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday Admission is $2; parking is free. For more information, call (859) 255-7309.
■ An Antique Affair in a former ­warehouse space at 1211 Manchester Street is Friday through Sunday. Parking and admission are free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (859) 296-2429.
■ The Burlington Antique Show, a huge outdoor show featuring more than 200 vendors at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Burlington, is Sunday. To the left is a display of lamps and figurines at last year’s show (photo by Tony Pham).
Early-bird admission, 5 to 8 a.m., is $5. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., admission is $3, free for children younger than 12.
■ The 6th annual Pleasant Hill Antiques Show and Sale will be June 21 and 22 on the grounds of Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, 3501 Lexington Road, Mercer County.
More than 50 dealers from around the country will exhibit collectibles including 18th- and 19th-century Shaker artifacts, furniture, jewelry, quilts, garden sculpture and folk art.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 21 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 12, free for ages 5 and younger. Admission includes entrance to village tours. For more ­information visit, www.shakervillageky.org or call 1-800-734-5411.
Isle of You summer celebration
Celebrate the summer solstice next week at Isle of You.
The store, 591 West Short Street, will host a shopping, music and art extravaganza from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 21.
Stock up on new arrivals by Jennifer ­Graham, Custo Barcelona and Hard Tail.
Louisville artist Anessa Arehart will show a selection of her Beauty ­paintings.
Local jewelry artist Anna Cox will have a trunk show of her latest designs.
And the crowd can relax with music by the JoyBombs, hot dogs on the grill and drinks on the patio at Stella’s Kentucky Deli just across the street.

Each of Jennifer Graham’s delicate porcelain objects draw influence from textiles. She embosses the vessels with a pattern, texture, or stitching, leaving the edges as raw as bolts of fabric. The results? Finely crafted porcelain vases, bowls, tasting trays, and even lighting, glazed in lush hues.
