1989 ที่ Southern Florida เมื่อ Marilyn Manson กับ Daisy ผู้เป็น guitarist ซึ่งทั้งสองบุกบ่าผ่าฟันเป็นลูกน้องของวงอื่นมาตั้ง 5 วง ได้จับมือกันก่อตั้งวงดนตรีขึ้นมาเอง

1990 Marilyn Manson ได้กลายเป็น Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids ได้มีชื่อวงตามชื่อของนักร้องนั่นก็คือ Marilyn Manson ส่วน Daisy เป็น lead guitarist มี Gidget Gein เป็น bassist และมี Madonna Wayne Gacy เป็น keyboardist ( replaced Zsa Zsa Speck) และ drum machine

1991 Sara Lee Lucas ได้มาทดแทนเสียงกลองที่มาจาก machine

1992, Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids ได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น Marilyn Manson จากนั้น เขาได้รวบรวมชื่อเสียงทั่วท้องถิ่นนั้น มีสามวงมาแข่ง เขาได้เป็นผู้ชนะใน local music award Singles ของพวกเขาได้แก่ Dope Hat, Lunchbox, My Monkey ก็ได้รับการ vote ให้ชนะเลิศ

2007 Marilyn Manson ออกอลบัม Drink Me Eat Me แต่ไม่ประสพน์ความสำเร็จเท่า The Golden Age Of Grotesque Twiggy Ramirez กลับมาอีกครั้งในปีเดียวกัน เขาบอกว่า ยิ่งอยู่ห่างจาก Manson เท่าไร ก็ทำให้เขาคิดถึงมากขึ้น Tim Skold ได้กลับไปอยู่วงเดิม คือ KMFDM ในปี 2009

ปี 2008 Marilyn Manson พบกับปัญหาอีกครั้งเมื่อ Pogo หรือ Madonna Wayne Gacy ออกจากวง และฟ้องเขาว่าวักลอบเงินวง เช่น ซื้อชุดเมียฮิตเลอร์ ให้แก่ Dita และจ่ายเงิน 12 ล้านเหรียญให้แก่ Evan Rachel Wood ใน Heart-Shaped Glasses Video และยังซื้อกระดูกเด็กจีนเป็น collection ของตัวเอง

My third visit of New York state was in 2005. I went to a language school, Marymount College of Fordam University at Tarrytown. It is only one month course. I went to a church which was not Christian church with my Korean friends. They wrote a big text, “God is Good and Good is God”. I can remember my dirty thought so well. I listened to many anti-christ and Satanic music at that time, like Black Metal and Marilyn Manson. The words that popped up in my head were, “God eat God” (a song of Marilyn Manson) and “Guns are Good” (a song of Genitorturers). Right now, it is the time to determine, that we should act for love or for hate. Although Marilyn Manson had million reasons to hate his God, he still shew his pessimistic idea. Twiggy Ramirez or Jeordie White also said in the interview of The High End of Low, that the time of anti-christ was when they were so young. The least of all lives, people just want to be happy. The real anti-christ people do things too much serious which are not good for themselves, and the fake anti-christ people did things just for commercial.

I went back to Thailand, and went to New York again in January 2006. I took language and Mathematics classes in that Spring semester. Fiaye, my friend in Math class, became my close so fast. She was very friendly. She searched for a Thai Christian church for me to join. She brought me there about 2-3 weeks, and she had to go back to her church. I studied Bible at Thai church at Yonker about one year. I was not quite nice, because I might betray them. It becomes my pain right now. If I or anyone is not head into any religion, we just should not pretend to take the knowledge from them, and create other things back to them. I did love Satan during that age. I had too much knowledge from Bible, and I read it reverse and translated it to be anti-god subjects. They were posted in my Marilyn Manson Thai Webboard in 2006, and I removed all of them in 2009.

Fiaye gave me an album of Christian songs, and I have still listened to them until now. They are brighter and lighter than Satanism songs. You may have heard Black Metal lyrics or logos. They are so dark actually. I had liked them once at my dark age, but I have changed. You can find a lot of free and legal MP3 to download at SoundClick.com and many kinds of bands are there! They are good examples to describe what the Black Metal religion is.

I know an old woman who joined that Thai church after me. She told her real story that she had a son, and she loved him so much. She sent him to a good school in Australia. She did everything for his future and his happiness. Sadly, her son died. She felt very sorry. She told us that she gave everything for her son, but the only thing that she forgot to give him was the most important thing, that was to let him know Lord God. Her words hit my mind then.

Many people do love God, and have a good wish. My fault was I hated God at that time. 2008-2009, I have realized that I will be happy just when the whole world is happy. Whatever they believe, it is their right, and it makes them nice, and it makes me happy. Christian is not harmful religion, but Satanism might do. I cannot say that what the real Satanism is, because it may be good thing; but in this world, people who worship Satan always believe and they are bad side, and that is the reason that some of them do bad things.

I love to see all religions in the world can be together without any fighting or trying to be better than others. Some country use the religious to make a war, but the real reason is about territory and money.

Some friends in the church said that I would be survival only if I believed in God, and I did not have to be a nice guy. It was the reason that I did not like Christian at that time, too. Nowadays, when I stand above myself at that age, I can remember many good teaching in Bible very well. Christian or Catholic is not only to love God, but you need to be nice, too. At least, you cannot be selfish to your neighbor.

Nothing in the world is solid bad. Everything has a good part in itself, if just you can find it. Today, you can look at your hated friends, they will have many things for you to learn.

MARILYN MANSON

The new album from MARILYN MANSON, entitled “The High End Of Low”, sold 49,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Also, a BBC reporter has just posted an article about the “strangest interview ever” that he conducted with M. Manson. By ARCH DANDY standards that would have to be pretty strange… Check out the audio of the interview below.

The interview sounds to me like Manson is either trashed or severely hungover and actually reminds me of my daily typical conversation between myself and my MARAZENE MACHINE partner in crime NIKK SKUM. I’m actually suprised we don’t end up getting more of this from Manson every now and then.

I have competed in two professional wrestling matches.

In 1998 I went down New Romney in Kent for the annual Hammerlock Wrestling Summer Camp. This was an intense week of wrestling training and it was awesome. It was also damn hard training.

It was at a cadet centre so there was a dormitory for us to sleep in but getting up time was 7am. Breakfast in the mess hall at half past, training began at 10am until 3pm. This was followed by a 3 hour lunch break. Then at 6pm it was back to training for another 4 hours until 10pm.

After the first day my legs were killing as I’d not been used to such intense all day training. I was reasonably fit at the time as I was going to martial arts classes but nothing prepared me for this schedule. At the time it seemed too much and like I wasn’t enjoying it, but as soon as I’d warmed up the following day I was fine & could carry on. As soon as I was inactive for more than 30 minutes though my body would start to cool down so I’d have to go through the warm up all over again.

Luckily it was in August so the weather was good enough to train cardio outside then the actual wrestling inside on the mats and in the ring.

As the training was run by an actual working promotion there were two events on during the week we were there. I can’t remember the venues but they were pretty big.  I think Portsmouth was one of them. But anyway, the promoter (Andre Baker) said that if anyone seemed to take to the training and could be trusted in the ring they could participate in the 20 man ‘Royal Rumble’ match on the card. A Royal Rumble match is where two guys start off in the ring and another guy comes in every two minutes. Basically a big brawl where the only way to be eliminated is by being thrown over the top rope to the floor.

I was asked to be in both & jumped at the chance. At the time I had long hair, a Nine Inch Nails tshirt, cut off combats and Magnum boots (a very popular grunge look amongst wrestlers at that time) so I was set.

The feeling of walking out in front of a cheering crowd and being treated like a star, even though none of them knew who I was, was something else. I wanted to try & look miserable & tough, but instead I couldn’t help the beaming smile that plastered it’s way across my face as these kids on either side of the entranceway were high fiving me on my way to the ring.

My combined time actually performing in the ring for both matches probably doesn’t add up to much more than 5 minutes, but with only a few days training and a lot of previous knowledge of wrestling I managed to hold my own in there against the pros. I got kicked in the stomach, punched in the face, chopped in the chest and thrown over the top rope to the (unprotected) floor, but not before I threw some kicks, punches, shoulder thrusts and chops of my own.

The adrenaline took a few hours to subside and I was a little banged up 7 bruised, but those 5 minutes were 5 of the best minutes of my life.

I moved out of home in 2001 on January 14th. I was 23 at the time and moved into 32 Dale Road in Carlton with Stu. While the house itself was a modest two bed semi it was a bachelor pad for us both and the home of some great memories.

I took a couple of days off college to get unpacked and sorted out. During this time I busied myself with removing the shit wardrobes out of my room and painting it blue (the room, not the wardrobes). Once done I put up about 6 shelves, and had an ingenius way of modifying the closet into a wardrobe. I went to Argos and got two of those chin up exercise bars that you mount in a doorframe. Putting these up in the closet turned the space into a pretty nifty wardrobe and I took (and still do take) pleasure in telling people about my Macguyver-esque lateral thinking.

Living away from home for the first time was awesome and to be living with your best mate made it even better. OK, so neither of us were particularly good at keeping on top of the washing up, the tidying, the hoovering, the dusting, the bills or the garden (in 18 months we never did a THING with it) but at least we had a bucket bong always on standby in the living room.

This was all fine but when my Mum came over one day and saw this bucket of water with a cut off lemonade bottle in it and asked what it was I literally had nothing to say. It was just one of those times where there are no words that come to you to explain something away. I think I mumbled something about it being Stu’s, that I had no idea what it was for and then diverted her attention to something non-drug related.

We stayed there for about 18 months before moving in with Lee & Lauren to 23 Deer Park Park Drive in Arnold. That was mostly good, although friction between Lauren & I became unbearable after a series of incidents and I decided to move out of there & in with my girlfriend at the time. Stu moved out also and lived on Foxhall Road in Forest Fields for a good few years too.

The time we spent living together was great looking back, but also too short. He lives just down the road from me now (literally 10 minutes walk) so we still do a lot of what we used to do when we lived together (drink wine, smoke and watch Spaced).

Sometimes I’m convinced we’re going to end up living together as bachelors when we’re both 60. Well, he is my hetero life partner, after all.

21.

I am not allergic to anything, or nothing I’ve come into contact with yet, at least.

I guess I’m quite lucky in the sense that I’ve found nothing I’m allergic to at all. I think it may have something to do with the fact I can eat almost anything; the only thing I’m not really keen on is Avocado, but I like Guacamole, go figure and I’ve never had food poisoning (although my work absence record while at the arcade will say differently, but I never have).

I don’t believe food poisoning actually exists, it’s just a fictional affliction that sounds plausible to skive a day off work.

Although having said that, When Stu & I were living at Dale Road we ordered a curry in one night & the next day he was struck down with ‘FP’ and I was fine. We had the same curry and everything. I reckon I must just have a strong stomach. Strong stomach in the sense of ‘constitution’, not in the sense of ’six pack’. I definitely don’t have one of those.

So yeah, no allergies (although I do sneeze if cordial is mixed too strong, but that surely doesn’t count?), no food fussyness, never had any broken bones and no serious accidents.

I guess I must just be lucky, or perhaps it’s all storing up then one day it’ll all get me at once. The polyester in my socks will send me into anaphalactic shock and I’ll fall into a busy road where a lorry full of Avocados will run me over, then, when in hospital, I’ll contract food poisoning & MRSA after the doctors discover an allergy to penicillin.

Still, at least it’ll give me chance to get through all 7 seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Every cloud…

I hate coat hangers.

This is a bit of an irrational hatred, but I just fucking hate coat hangers.

I hate how they have to entangle themselves in everything they’re near and even entangle themselves in themselves when they’re in a bunch. If you’ve ever tried to get a load of them into or back out of a plastic bag you’ll know how mardy they are.

I understand they’re necessary, but also evil. Which obviously makes them a necessary evil.

I bought a load of nice metal ones from Ikea ages ago & they’re slightly more attractive and slightly less annoying than those evil plastic fucktwats.

Whenever I go clothes shopping (which, being a man, isn’t that often) and the checkout person asks me if I want the coat hanger I take great pleasure in saying “No, I don’t want the coat hanger”. Maybe in future I should launch straight into the above paragraphs after saying this. I’m sure the checkout person wouldn’t think I’m a mental. Much.

And that’s all I have to say about coat hangers.

In 2007 I ran the Robin Hood Half Marathon.

This I consider to be my proudest achievement so far and I ran it for the MS Society charity in honour of my Uncle who died of MS the year before.

Although I now consider it my proudest achievement it was hell getting round the 14 mile course. The only training I’d really done for it was a single 10 mile run on my treadmill a few weeks before and then a 5 mile road run the following weekend. In my naive mind I thought if I could run 10 miles on a treadmill & 5 miles on the road easily then the real thing wouldn’t be that hard.

I was wrong.

For a start, 5 miles is nowhere near long enough of a distance to make your body start cramping up & begging for mercy. Secondly, running ten miles on a treadmill is obviously a lot easier than the real thing as the treadmill pushed you forward. All you really have to do on a treadmill is put your feet down and get into the rhythm. The actual road does not move underneath you and push you forward, it stays very still and hard and you have to push forward with your own two legs.

Expressed as a ratio I think I ran about 60% and walked 40% of the whole course and finished in 2 hours 45m (roughly). Despite my lack of training becoming all too apparent about half an hour in, I was still pleased I finished the thing and raised a couple of hundred pounds for a worthwhile charity.

A girl called Lynda Owen was my saviour at the final half mile mark. She ran up next to me while I was walking and encouraged me to finish strong and start running again. I did start running again and rounded the last bend to hear my Dad screaming encouragement for the final stretch. He said he’d go nuts when he saw me about to finish, and he did. That felt great.

Unfortunately I lost sight of Lynda and never got the chance to thank her or offer to take her out for a drink at some point in the future as a proper thank you. Shame, she was hot (as in ‘attractive’, not as in ‘overheated’, although given that we’d both just finished a massive run she was probably that too).

When I got home I spent all the rest of the Sunday on the sofa watching Edinburgh & Beyond, completely unable to relax my legs. If I did relax them they cramp up straight away. I had my one and only bath of the past 8 years back then too.

I got some tealights, put some music on, Radox muscle soak in the water & had myself a proper relaxing soak. At least, as relaxing a soak as a 6′5″ guy can have in a normal sized bath (I either have to scrunch my legs up to get my body in or sit bolt upright to get my legs in).

Yes, it was a bit feminine, but I’d just (mostly) run a (half) marathon for fuck’s sake!

I met a genuine musical superstar (and one of my absolute top level heroes, right after Adam Ant & Tom Bailey from the Thompson Twins): Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails at the Nottingham Arena in 2007.

My mate Dunk had bought two tickets to Nine Inch Nails at The Arena and called to see if I wanted to take one off his hands a few days before the gig. I jumped at the chance and we met a friend of his there too.

She and about ten others had won a competition to meet the band through the  Official NIN fanclub. She could take someone with her (Dunk) but I’d have to wait in the foyer bit while they were gone. No problem I thought, it’ll be an awesome gig anyway.

While I was waiting with them this bossy label rep came over & started telling people where to stand and what to do. When she’d finished I asked who she was & why she thought she could order people around like that (in a cheeky but friendly way). We got into a conversation about who she was, where she was from and what was going on that night (I obviously don’t even remember what she looks like now, never mind her postcode, sorry; ‘zipcode’).

She asked if I was in line to meet the band before the show. I said no, but I was just waiting with my friends until they went to meet them and then I’d just hang around up here until they came back. She looked at me for a few seconds, as if thinking something over, then said if they had a spare spot I could go down & meet the band too. Awesome, I guess my cheeky banter must’ve charmed her!

So anyway, there were no spare spots and when she got the word the band were ready she ushered everyone though & I started to go the other way. She looked at me & nodded in the direction everyone was going: to meet the band!

I couldn’t believe it. Two days previous I didn’t even know I’d be seeing Nine Inch Nails live, never mind meeting the man himself. So we get down there & lineup waiting for them to turn up. Nine Inch Nails is basically a one-man setup when it comes to recording. Trent writes & plays most of everything, but when he tours there’s a constantly changing lineup of musicians who make up the touring band.

These guys came out first & I had no idea who they were, but shook their hands anyway & got them to sign my flyer. Then the bassist Jeordie White turned up (he’s famous for being a founding member of Marilyn Manson and also plays in A Perfect Circle) so I recognised him, then Josh Freese comes out (this guys plays in loads of bands but he’s also in A Perfect Circle who I’m a massive fan of)

Then out comes Trent and the girls start going crazy. He was the consummate professional, offering his hand to shake and engaging every single one of us in a conversation before moving on to the next person. I was wearing my Type O Negative longsleeve tshirt, he clocked this and said when he was touring with them once he went into their dressing room before the gig and they were all having a fight!

I thanked him for signing my flyer & he moved on to the next guy in the line. A brief meeting, but a fucking awesome one. He’s the only famous person I’ve ever met who I’ve been starstruck by. I just couldn’t think of anything to say.

Definitely a highlight of life so far. Massive thanks to the bossy rep who let me tag along & meet one of my musical heroes!

My personality type is ‘INFP’.

I recently attended a three part Personality Type seminar where I discovered I am an INFP. This means Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving (Introverted Feeling with Extraverted Intuition).

This personality type is defined as ‘The Idealist’ and basically means I deal with things & come to conclusions according to how I feel about them, rather than what I think about them.
