I met them after they talked one day at church about their vision of starting/planting a church in New Delhi! I just felt sooooo compelled by God to be involved in this – somehow! I’m still not sure how exactly – whether its actually going to New Delhi and living there with the church or whether it is while living in Tokyo by supporting to the church from here… but to find it out more clearly, I’ll be hopefully visiting them this December! *YESSS* it is sooooo exciting to hear how well they’re doing from our pastors who visit them and from their blogs!

Me being a Sri Lankan, I really feel soooo happy when I hear about how God wants to move in a BIG way in my neighboring country ~ INDIA! It’s a funny feeling that I’ve never visited India in my ENTIRE life but here I have this soft spot in my heart just because growing up I always knew that my history, culture and even identity as a Sri Lankan is linked to this BIG brother kind of neighboring country – India!

I’ve met couple of AMAZING people who are Indians both in America while studying and here in Tokyo too… and more than anything, I want people like them to be blessed by God and to receive his love, joy and grace ~ a place for them to grow and get close to God in India! Jesus Life House – New Delhi is DEFINITELY going to be such a place! The church here in Tokyo is SUPERB in the way the people and leaders encourage each other and continuously strive to get closer to God, his words, his vision and to be ready to be used for his kingdom!

So I’m saving up with every little 1000 Yen note I get from my part time job ~ so that somehow – even in a small way, I can be a part of God’s big plan in India!

God bless India – a nation like no other! ~ =D

We will have Vision Night on Saturday March 17^th at Oodles Residency in Nehru Enclave.
At 6:00pm you can come and meet the team.
At 7:00pm you can learn all about Jesus Lifehouse, our vision and what we believe for the city of New Delhi!

On Sunday March 18th we will be having our first Demo Service at Bible Bhavan!

Natale è appena passato e stavo meditando su ciò che è successo 2011 anni fa, in particolare su quello che deve aver provato Maria. Come si sarà’ sentita mentre dava alla luce un bambino così speciale? A proposito dei pastori che si recavano nella stalla in cui era nato Gesù, in Luca 2:16-19 si legge: Andarono dunque senz’indugio e trovarono Maria e Giuseppe e il bambino, che giaceva nella mangiatoia. E dopo averlo visto, riferirono ciò che del bambino era stato detto loro. Tutti quelli che udirono, si stupirono delle cose che i pastori dicevano. Maria, da parte sua, serbava tutte queste cose meditandole nel suo cuore.

  The Bible tells us about amazing people like Mary who gave their life to God and were blessed. It takes faith to be a great servant of God. God’s path is not the easiest one, but it’s the only way to the best life you could ever have. If you have a great plan for your life, God’s plan for you is even better! God’s plan for Mary was amazing!

In August 2012 I’ll move to New Delhi to help plant an awesome church for God, Jesus Lifehouse! I want to be a good servant of God and rejoice in His blessings for my life!

  La Bibbia ci racconta di personalità straordinarie come Maria che hanno donato la propria vita a Dio e sono state benedette. Ci vuole fede per essere un buon servo di Dio. Il Suo cammino non è il più facile, ma è l’unico che ti conduce alla miglior vita che potresti mai avere. Se hai un grande progetto per la tua vita, Dio ne ha sicuramente uno migliore! Il piano di Dio per Maria è stato incredibile!

Ad agosto del 2012 mi trasferirò a Nuova Delhi per dare una mano a far partire una chiesa meravigliosa per Dio, Jesus Lifehouse! Voglio essere al suo servizio nel migliore dei modi e godere delle Sue benedizioni che riempiranno la mia vita!

Il 24 novembre si e’ tenuta la JLH Nuova Delhi vision night! Purtroppo non mi trovavo lì ma sono venuta a sapere che vi hanno partecipato ben 35 persone! Sorprendente! E ben 19 hanno deciso di entrare a far parte della squadra! Siiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

I have so many things to tell you! First: I went to India!!! I stayed in New Delhi for 4 days with my awesome friends from Jesus Lifehouse! Here we are at Indira Gandhi Airport!

Then we visited Taj Mahal in Agra! That was just amazing! I had always wanted to see it! I had no idea my lifetime dream would come true this year!! God has it in His power to surprise you every day! I was together with people of many different countries, we looked like the United Nations representatives!

Poi abbiamo visitato il Taj Mahal ad Agra! Era semplicemente magnifico! Avevo sempre sognato di vederlo! Non avevo idea che avrei realizzato il sogno di una vita proprio quest’anno!! Dio ha il potere di sorprenderti ogni giorno! Ero con persone provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, sembravamo i rappresentanti dell’ONU!

I also got mehndi, hand decorations with henna! Indian women usually get them for their wedding ceremony…I wasn’t getting married, but it lasts for 10 days, you never know, in 10 days many things can change… : )

Mi sono anche fatta fare il mehndi, decorazioni delle mani con l’henné! Di solito le donne indiane se le fanno fare per il proprio matrimonio…non stavo per sposarmi ma il colore resta per 10 giorni…in 10 giorni possono succedere tante cose… : )

メンヂもやってもらいました。メンヂといいうのはヘンナの飾りです。インドの女性は結婚式のためメンジをもらいます。私はまだ結婚してなかったけどメンジが十日間残るから十日間でなにか変わるかな… （＾－＾）
