MMO-Champion data mined information about Shadomourne the new legendary axe dropping from ICC. I play a dwarf hunter and am perfectly capable of wielding an axe. Apparently Blizzard is well aware of this and has restricted the classes that can use this to Warrior, Paladin and Death Knight.

Now since this is the PTR I’m sure it’s just an oversight and we can expect to see Hunter added to that list. If not I may have to get in touch with Mr. T and see how good his WoW hacking skills really are.

As a jewelcrafter I’d be perfectly happy loading the three gem slots with Delicate Dragon’s Eye for 102 agility. And my pet could use the strength, right? C’mon Blizz!

I’ve always enjoyed skinning as a profession. Something about the idea of poaching beasts as a hunter is something that always seemed to ‘fit,’ and RPers would have to agree that it probably makes the most sense from a lore standpoint. The lone huter, tracking beasts with his fellow pet, skinning pelts for clothing and eating their flesh in the wild. Well, that’s a bit overboard, but you get the picture. My second profession, engineering, has always been my ‘primary’ profession. The whole point since TBC was to have all the fun PvP-specific trinkets, but since WotLK came, hunters have been blessed with a bevy of bonuses to aid in both PvP and PvE. It’s really a great profession with a lot of utility. Primarily, we have…

Hand-Mounted Pyro Rocket: A great, on-demand DPS shot that is off the global cooldown. You can macro this to your shots and just forget about it, and you’ll get your damage every 45 seconds. This has huge benefits in PvE from a DPS standpoint, and it’s just an extra shot in PvP that doesn’t require standing still and foolishly casting steady shot. Did I mention that the range on this shot is greater than an untalented hunter’s range? This tinker is just incredible.

Nitro Boosts: 24 crit rating and increased movespeed. Personally, I love this enchant, particularly in PvE. There’s been a lot of contention as of late in top-end huntering, whether it’s worth putting +AGI on boots or Tuskarr’s for increased movespeed to improve positioning. This enchant I feel gives an acceptible medium. You have a decent amount of crit rating to give you a static boost, and enable the speed boost gives you a temporary burst that can certainly improve your positioning as needed.

Flexweave Underlay: Another great enchant. It’s 1 agility more than the actual enchant you can get from enchanters, so that’s a no-brainer. Parachute is great, too. Very nice for safefalling from your flying mount when you just don’t feel like nosediving to the ground at flying epic speed.

Those are the primary reasons I enjoy engineering so much, plus the other nifty trinkets. … but skinning? It just doesn’t fit. I’ve spent the past few weeks just farming leather in ZG for gold, and farming Borean Leather everywhere else to just stockpile for Leatherworkers. I’m sitting on something like 20+ drums in my bank (and I intend to use every one of them, very very liberally), and I just have nothing that I can really do with the profession anymore. A while back, the Warcraft Hunter’s Union posted a small article on choosing hunter professions, with Jewelcrafting being a heavily suggested profession for hunters from a DPS perspective. So, I decided to jump ship and swap my skinning for jewelcrafting. I had debated enchanting just so I ccould DE things personally when I run old content, but my guild is just chock-full of enchanters anyway.

So, 5K gold and five spend-a-rific hours later, I am now a max-level Jewelcrafter with +34 agility gems. Of course, I just had to re-gem my PvE and PvP gearsets. I had been wanting to re-gem the PvE set for some time in order to claim a +6 agility socket bonus on my pants instead of the active +4 agility socket bonus I was packing on my gloves. It all works out nicely, since for all extensive purposes the gems are all best gear (gloves, pants, bracers) that I almost definitely will not be upgrading before 3.3. I’m pretty happy about that, but the 6 dragon eyes and nightmare tear were certainly added insult to injury. I am dirt poor now. But those gems sure are shiny.

Yesterday I decided it was time to take control of my second tradeskill. I knew it was going to be expensive to raise jewelcrafting but I had no idea the prices would be insane. I am too lazy to farm it myself, so I had to rely on the AH for mats.

Took me a bit longer than enchanting, but I actually did 1-349 in jewelcrafting yesterday and continued up to 420 today. I think I spent about 2k – somewhere in that range anyway. I must say it feels nice, one more skill point and I’ll be able to start with the Northrend mats (which ARE much cheaper on my server).

Only annoying thing is that I need to decide which char will be my mining slave. I have a lvl 71 warrior I have been gathering some mats with now, but I’d prefer to have all abilties within my team.

I made the plunge this weekend and dropped Herblism in favor of enchanting. My two tradeskills are

I made the plunge this weekend and dropped Herblism in favor of enchanting. My two tradeskills are now Inscription and Enchanting. My main reason for changing to enchanting is to obtain the spell power ring enchants. Also on my realm, Northrend herbs are pretty cheap so buying them to craft is definitely still feasible to make a profit.

I thought it might be interesting to look at each of the crafting skills to get an idea how each may benefit a healer. I just assumed I would benefit more from enchanting than any other tradeskill. I should have done this analysis before I made my switch, but oh well. My goal is to obtain the most spell power possible.

Alchemy - Alchemists are able to make and use Philosopher’s Stones. The healing version is a trinket that adds 59 spell power, 50 haste and increases the mana and health gained from potions by 40%.

There are definitely other trinkets out there that have more spell power on them. The haste is nice. The 40% to potions used to be uber before WotLK, but now that you can’t chain potions anymore I’m not sure it’s really that beneficial. Bottom line is there isn’t enough spell power on this trinket for me to justify switching to Alchemy.

There are also some other alchemy only potions out there, but again I don’t really think these potions are good enough to justify having Alchemy as my dual crafting skill. The best flask with Mixology provides 47 more spell power over the Frost Wyrm Flask.

Blacksmithing – The best benefit that Blacksmiths get is the ability to add a gem socket to both their bracers and their gloves. Using the best spell power gem available this translates directly to 46 spell power. This is the same amount of spell power that the ring enchants from enchanting provide. Enchanting also has more synergy with my class than Blacksmithing. So changing to Blacksmithing doesn’t make much sense for me.

Enchanting – The ring enchants add 46 spell power. Also, enables you to enchant your own gear. It is also fairly easy to make money from enchanting without a companion tradeskill.

Engineering – Engineering is somewhat hard to compare with the other crafting skills. You are able to make and use several interesting items, but none of them are large bumps to spell power.

Inscription – A scribes main benefit is the ability to use the inscription only shoulder enchants. The scribe shoulder enchant gives you 70 Spell power and 6 mp/5. The enchant is 46 more spell power than the exalted Sons of Hodir enchant, so an added benefit is that you get to skip the reputation work.

Jewelcrafting – Allows you to craft and use 3 Runed Dragon’s Eye gems. These add up to 48 spell power benefit over using Runed Cardinal Rubies. This is the highest reliable pure spell power boost that you can get via a crafting skill.

Leatherworking – Leatherworkers are able to enchant bracers with 76 spell power. This is 46 more than the normal enchant provides.

There are some very nice leatherwork based armor for resto druids, but most of these are BoE. So people have this option whether they are Leatherworkers or not.

Tailoring – Allows you to embroider a cloak to provide a chance to gain 295 spell power for 15 seconds while casting a spell. According to the folks over at EJ, this enchant adds 73.75 spell power at the cost of the 23 haste enchant.

After looking at the data, it appears that in terms of raw spell power my best bet would have been Jewelcrafting and Tailoring. This combination provides 121 spell power (assuming 25% uptime on the cloak enchant). My combination provides a constant 92 spell power. I’m still in the process of raising enchanting to 400 so that I can take advantage of the ring enchants. I wish I would have performed this analysis beforehand. I would have probably went with tailoring instead of enchanting. Once I build my gold supply back to a reasonable level, I may consider changing again.

The WoWenomics team was discussing Titanium Ore recently and all team members agreed that the prices

The WoWenomics team was discussing Titanium Ore recently and all team members agreed that the prices are down from their peak just a few weeks ago. Whereas typical prices for a stack of ore were reported as being in the area of 350 gold or more, we searched ten auction houses across five servers last night and found stacks available for buyouts at sub-300 levels on seven of the ten auction houses. We cannot say definitively how much prices are dropping since we have not been statistically recording the prices across servers but, anecdotally at least, it would appear that the ore, and goods and services related to the ore, are currently on the decline.

The reasons for the drop in price of Titanium are probably a combination of:

Increased supply- Titanium Ore has been so profitable for so many weeks that many more players are jumping into the farming for resale market, causing a certain amount of over-supply.

Decreased demand- As epic gem prices drop and stabilize perhaps Jewelcrafters are finding high ore prices intolerable.

In fact, one interesting correlation that we noted in our research was that of the seven servers that showed lower ore prices, every single one showed decreased epic gem prices. Prices for uncut gems on these servers were typically within the area of 140-150 gold. It may be that epic gem prices can be used as an early indicator of the direction of Titanium Ore. If you are in the ore market, either buying or selling, you might want to also look into the prices of epic gems to determine your optimal pricing and/or farming strategy before you set out on your daily quest for profits.

It is impossible to say if the observed decline in Titanium prices is here to stay of if this is just part of the cyclic nature of the WoW economy but, for the time being at least, we are rating Titanium Ore as a sell.

Ok, Diary, so I am sure you have probably already noticed I am a rather inquisitive creature…

Ok, Diary, so I am sure you have probably already noticed I am a rather inquisitive creature… so much so that perhaps I’m sure I come off a bit “noobish” at times… and for that I apologize I have been playing a rogue my whole “WoW-life” and I am not going to lie and say I’m uberleet and know everything there is to know about the class.

To be completely honest, this blog was created as a way to chronicle my journey to learn to play my class better… to pass from “newbie” to “knowledgable” in all things rogue.

I feel, however, that in some aspects of the game, I have excelled naturally. Making gold, for example, has never been an issue for me. In real-life, I am not the richest person monetarily, so I find it appealing to be able to have an abundance of gold in this fantasy world we play in… not only for my own personal advancement, but to be able to give to other people/guildies.

I play the AH. I feel I play it pretty well; through alot of trial and error, plus a working knowledge of the needs of a WoW community, I have been able to amass enormous amounts of gold, (I don’t feel I need to indicate HOW MUCH, needless to say I can pay for whatever I truly need in the game). This isn’t a secret, nor is it something I am SELLING LOL.

Just thought, today, as a change, I would give a few tips to anyone serious about making money through the WoW Auction House. Again, this is all just trial and error knowledge I have gained. Enjoy !

—————-

#1 - People are LAZY – People would rather pay a premium to buy mats/recipies for leveling than to go and get them themselves. (See altaholicism). An example of this is a level 55 jewelcrafting recipe that is available for purchase from a vendor in Eastern Plaguelands. I happen to be up in that area pretty consistently while I was running Stratholme for Runecloth, (rep). I buy the recipe for like 50s every hour or so, (limited supply), can turn around and sell it on my server’s AH for about 5g… that is a heck of a profit margin, and that is just ONE example.

#2 – People are UNINFORMED – The mass majority of people who post things on AH probably don’t know how much something is really worth… but rather just post something similar to what other items are selling for… the problem with this is the market, (like any real-life market), can fluctuate wildly depending on the time of day, day of week, and other factors such as patch releases and downtime. Being aware of an items true worth is the first step in making money on the AH.

#3 – People are IMPATIENT – goes along with people being uninformed… people are impatient. Buying low and selling high is a staple of any investment plan… however people usually just want a quick sell… which causes a profit opportunity to anyone willing to wait out a glutted market.

#4 – People like OPTIONS – just like convenience stores vs. bulk stores, some people like to buy full stacks of materials, vs. other people who have limited amounts of funds and/or smaller needs for said materials… when it comes to almost all markets within WoW, there are two sub-markets… the full-stack market and the short-stack market. Looking at a trade-material market, for example, usually shows a market that has either one or both markets being unserved… if there is a ton of 20 stacks being loaded into AH at lower than competitive prices, look to make sure of what the average price is for shorter stack sizes, (i.e. 1, 5, and 10 stacks)… depending on the market, you can usually charger a higher price for short-stacks at a cost of a longer flip, (i.e. a profit).

#5 - People are ILL-PREPARED – most people who use the AH are looking for a short-term, short-sighted profit, and not really looking to make long-term goals for wealth accumulation. Investing some time and energy into things such as addons, leveling guides, and progression mats, can make all the difference in finding and capitalizing on big deals.

Find below my list of my top 5 things to sell for profit on AH, vs. my bottom 5 things to avoid like the plague. Again, this is all must IMHO

Top 5

#5 -Reputation Items – You have to be careful with this one, because some types of reputation grinding, (ie. Sporeggar) is not as easy to sell as, say, Hodir reputation… (btw. Relics of Ulduar is probably my number one selling item on most days… people are desperate to get exalted for the shoulder enchant there… )

#4 -Enchanting Materials – you can focus on one or both types of markets, the leveling market, (read, mid-level, such as Greater Nether, Small and Large Brilliant Shards), or high-level, such as Cosmic Essences and Abyss Crystals. Stay away from lower level mats as their profit margins are low and they are easier to come by.

#3 – Milling Goods – (i.e herbs)… a flavor of the month type of skill set… many are taking their alts higher up into the Inscription tradeset, causing a need for many mid-level herbs, (i.e. netherbloom, briarthorn, mageroyal)… avoid lower and higher level herbs as they are easier to come by, (ie. lower levels are easier to pick, higher levels are easier to glut into the market).

#2 -Basic Trade Goods – (i.e. leathers, clothes, herbs, ores and bars) this is the majority of where I do my business… remember to fill both short and full stack markets and wait for a good loading time, (i.e. early in the weekend, during the week as necessary)

#1 – Middle Level Gems – (i.e. Citrine, Blue Sapphires, Star Rubies, Large Opals, etc)… due to the resurgence of jewelcrafting, many are either respecing their mains or skilling up their alts… there is a level of ignorance with these mid-level gems, (i.e. before Lich King, Citrine was lucky to sell for 1g a piece… now it easily sells for 11g on our server)… while a bit hard to come by, you will feel like you hit a homerun everytime you find these as they sell very quickly and almost always grab top-dollar.

Bottom 5

#5 - Top Level Gear - dabbling in level 80 gear has been, in my experience a “break-even” type of market in that the number of options available for purchase at lvl 80 is fairly limited due to progression available gear, as well as subject to the leveling of different tradeskills, (i.e. Blacksmithing, Leather-Working). It is hard to corner a market that has a very select group buying and a very large group selling.

#4 – Pets – some people swear by pet selling… and there is SOME gold there as long as you are willing to farm the pets and are also willing to undercut the competition… I hate farming pets, so UNLESS I find a CRAZY deal on a pet, I generally stay away from these. Sure, there are tons of people out there collecting these, but at the prohibitive cost of most of these, the buying is sporadic and slow at best, backing up the market… glut causes lower prices, increasing your chances of losing your profit margin in repeat AH postings.

#3 – Glyphs - there are a TON of glyphs being sold online… cheap and available… but the problem here is the market is SO glutted right now with these types of articles it is nearly impossible to make any type of flip profit on the straight glyphs, (there are some that tell me that Inscribers can make a profit on these… however as a buy/sell flipper, I avoid these unless I find a CRAZY deal.

#2 – Quest Items – again, we are talking about a VERY limited number of players that would even NEED this type of item at any given time. Given the almost universal availability of quest items NEARBY a quest hub, running to a AH to pick up something laying on the group nearby is ridiculous and a sure-fire way to lose money… not to be confused with reputation items, (see above #5).

#1 – Leveling Gear – unless you have an Enchanter you are trying to level, stay away from speculative buying of gear under level 80… gear is so specific to each class, so you are limited WHO would be interested in a specific piece of gear… PLUS quest rewards usually are better than anything available through AH, and is “free” considering you are willing to put time into doing the quest, which most people are since you are LEVELING anyways…. PLUS leveling has become much faster nowadays, meaning that while people are needing to upgrade gear more often, they are less apt to spend top-dollar on gear that is going to be replaced in the next few days.

In a previous topic I discussed a pretty simple way of making some extra gold. Today, I thought I’d revisit the concept of gold making with another simple trick. I’ll warn you, this one involves an end-game Jewelcrafter.

Tumunzahar happens to fit this bill. He has for quite some time, though it’s taken some time for him to have at least a couple of epic cuts to work with. At this stage, he has 8-10, but really you just need one to get you started.

Take your cut(s). Look at the Auction House and look for two things: the cost of the gem in its base form and the going rate of the gem once cut. On occasion, you’ll see a 10-15g difference. Most often, it’s double or triple that (more if you’re lucky).

Now, don’t go crazy. You’re thinking, ten gems would net me “x00″ gold. If there’s one side note you need to always remember it’s never flood the market! Instead, put up one of each cut you have that is currently listed at a profit that you’d like (remember the AH cut). I go with 25-30g or higher for my profits. Again, I have 8-10 cuts. So, that means if my gems sell, I’m making 170-300g a day for just a few minutes of work.

On occasion you’ll have one or two that end up not selling because a few monkeys undercut you. Hang on to it or re-list it. As long as you make said profit eventually, who cares? You’ll be out 2g for a 24 hour auction, which you’ve made up for with the other ones that sold in the same time.

Here are a few observations about the post-3.2.2 economy based on reader tips we’ve received and the WoWenomics teams’ own observations. We hope you find them useful. Feel free to share your own observations in the comments section.

A Big Ol’ Cup O’ Hurt

The Tankard O’ Terror, a BoE mace dropped by the Brewfest boss, is now being heavily sold in the AH and marketed in the /trade channel. The prices on this item range widely from the area of 1,000 gold to 3,000 or so. Tobold put up a good post explaining that he sees this item being BoE as an oversight on Blizzard’s part and suspects that the item may be made BoP in the near future. We don’t necessarily see that as happening and, in fact, are sellers of this item as opposed to buyers. Currently we will purchase the item at bid levels below 800 gold and sell at any above 1,100. A few of our team members have generated a bit of income with this strategy but longevity is limited. As the event progresses we expect the price to continue to drop as more and more players attain one and post it. Longer term, however, the price of these maces may increase significantly if similar holiday events do not yield comparable weapons. This is to say that, come six months from now, any remaining Tankard O’ Terrors might catch a pretty penny (copper?).

Conversely, sales of the Titansteel Bonecrusher are slowing significantly as players can attain the higher item level Brewfest mace for approximately the same (or lower) price.

On a personal note, I’m pretty sure I drank from that tankard more than once during college.

My Orbs Dropped

No, that wasn’t another personal note. Rather, Crusader Orbs have dropped sharply in price, as they are now attainable for 15 Emblems of Triumph. We actually predict there will be a slight bounce back in going rate for these items as two things happen:

Players will be attracted to the lower price thereby driving up demand and

Players will exhaust their reserve of emblems thereby slowing supply.

Runed Orbs have dropped slightly in price (presumably because more players are crafting the higher level items that require the recently inexpensive Crusader Orbs)

Frozen Orbs have actually increased in price albeit marginally. This is possibly due to content distraction and connection issues. We expect prices to drop back to ‘normal’ levels shortly.

Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the…

Two new types of drums were released. Drums of Forgotten Kings and Drums of the Wild both offer what were previously class specific raid buffs but are now available as a Leatherworking crafted item usable by even non-Leatherworkers. Prices for the drums are being reported to us as between 100 gold and 300 gold. These prices are expected to drop somewhat in the coming days as Leatherworkers flood the market.

Most servers tested showed a sharp increase in the price of the materials required to craft these items. If you are a farmer/supplier of such goods, now is certainly the time to sell.

It is worth noting that the buffs granted by these items do not stack with the class-offered versions of the same.

A Script for Profits

Scribes are reporting success in selling their version of the open-class raid buff, the Runescroll of Fortitude. Current price point on all servers tested varied from a low of just under 10 gold each to a high in the area of 22. This item is also usable by all classes and professions and, similar to the drums, does not stack with similar buffs granted by priests.

In other Inscription news, we’ve received scattered reports that the going rate for a few glyphs is on the rise. Specifically, glyphs that cater to skills in the Mage’s Arcane tree are on the rise (presumably this spec became more attractive given the buffs it received) and we’ve also heard the same (although to a lesser degree) about the Glyph of Seal of Command due to buffs to that specific skill. A few other glyphs have been redesigned and sales are moving upwards or downwards as the community reacts to the changes. If you are a scribe you may wish to reassess your pricing and adjust accordingly.

All Your Buffs Are Belong to Us!

Players would be well advised to note that the buffs granted by the aforementioned drums and scrolls will stack with each other. Further, and perhaps more importantly, the buffs stack with those granted from consumables. Thus, you could theoretically use both types of drums, the scroll and an elixir of both varieties (or a flask) all at once- even while soloing. Take it away min/maxers…

One final comparative note is that the buff granted by the drums is 30 minutes long whereas the scroll grants a 60-minute stamina buff.

A Gem of an Opportunity

Raw gems continue to rise even while the prices of the cut versions stabalize. One area we’ve observed strong gains in price with Armor Penetration gems. This is quite probably a result of players trying to compensate for a nerf to this statistic that was introduced by Blizzard with this patch. Here is a full list of Armor Pen gems to help you plan accordingly. It should be noted that this rise was somewhat unexpected by our team. Rather, we would have predicted a decline in the price of these gems since their value has been nerfed. Perhaps that price drop is still to come.

v3.2

I’m no WoW money making expert, but the other night I heard some guidlies complaining about lack of gold and needing to farm it and I was reminded that people actually farm as their main in-game income source. I thought i’d share some things I do to make money. Personally I spend about 10-20 minutes about 4-5 days a week (about 1-2 hours per week) doing various AH activities to earn gold. From this I earn 1-3k per week.

I don’t use all the strategies below all the time but switch between them as needed or whim dictates. I’m generally using about 5 or 6 of them at once.

General strategies

Generally you can buy a lot of your source mats cheapest over the weekends, especially Sunday, as the AH is flooded with sellers. You can generally sell smaller volumes of the high profit items during the week. High volume, low profit stuff sells best for me if I list it Thursday or Friday night. The high volume stuff continues to sell well over the weekend but the profit margin usually fades.

I don’t cancel auctions except those created in error.

I don’t use Auctioneer currently (one day i’ll check it out and perhaps replace AHSearch and AuctionLite), but one tool which I find very useful for watching multiple commodities is Market Watcher. An addon like AuctionLite or Auctioneer allows you to easily list multiple auctions of the same item type and also buyout/bid in bulk.

The strategies that work for you will depend on your server. Some will make a lot more money than i’ve listed, others will be already over populated.

Greater Cosmic Essence and Lesser Cosmic Essence – Buy GCE, split them into LCE and then relist. On my server I can generally sell about a dozen LCE each day, listed in 4 groups of 2 and 4 groups of 1 for 50-200% profit on each (GCE 10-15g, LCE 4-7g).
Regular 60 gold profit per day.

Greater Eternal Essence and Lesser Eternal Essence – These and many of the other pre-Northrend enchanting consumables can also be bought as Greaters (or Lessers) converted to the other type and relisted. The advantage of many of these enchanting materials is that they have little or no cost to list.
Regular 40-60 gold profit per day.

Eternals, especially fire. Buy Eternals, break them into Crystallized bits and relist. occasionally you can actually make profit the other way. I can generally list 2 x 4, 4 x 3, 4 x 2 and 4-6 x 1 of the crystallized version and they will sell. Profit margin is usually about 100%. Eternal Fires are often around 20g and Crystallized Fire around 4g.
Regular 60 gold profit per day.

I buy Moonshroud under 80g and sell when the price is over 120g. I also have a Moonshroud spec’d tailor. When the price gets really high (140g+) I even sell my back up stock from my tailor and re-purchase it when prices crash. This is a low volume market with a longer cycle period between high and low.
Sporatic 200-500g profit about once every two weeks.

I buy Titanium Ore at 13-14g and sell when the price rises back to 17-18g. Doesn’t sound like much but its 60-100g profit per stack. I can generally get 5-15 stacks at a time.
Sporatic 600-1,000g profit about once every week currently.

I buy Frost Lotus in the weeks before new content patches. Pre 3.2 these were selling for about 19-22g and are now selling for about 45-50g. Be careful as these have a high listing cost. An upside from these is that if I buy a lot and prices aren’t rising fast enough I just send them to my alchemist to make flasks with for raiding.
1,500-2,500g profit about once every 12 weeks.

Make use of your professions

Tailor

Make Mycah’s Botanical Bags for about 120g each and sell about one per day for 250-300g. I make the Primal Mooncloth myself or buy it off the AH if the price is low enough. These sell because they are 24 slot and the 32 slot bag costs at least 900 gold in materials to make. Many people aren’t willing to pay 1k+ gold for a herb bag but will 300g for a slightly smaller one. There is also a barrier to entry as you have to be revered with Sporeggar to buy the pattern. This market basically financed the others and has been good money for 12 months.
Regular 120g per day profit.

Buy unprocessed cloth and convert it to bolts. There is often a big price difference and these sell in big volumes. I haven’t used this method for some time mainly because the time/profit ratio is too low. It takes some time to make bolts (although you can mostly AFK through it) and the profit is low per trade.

Alchemist

Transmute cheap epic gems (about 60g each) and either sell (around 130g) or cut and sell (prices up to about 200-250g).
Regular 100g per day profit. Master Transmuter will make you a bit more money but even non-transmuters should be doing this for easy money.

Jewelcrafting

Buy uncut gems and cut them to whatever offers profit. Currently the market is pretty variable, but good profit can be made. As above these are currently around 130g to buy uncut and then sold for 200-250g. Profit in this market will decline until the next content patch, but should remain viable. Currently most epic gems can be cut into something for 50g profit.
Regular 100g per day profit.

Buying ore, prospect the ore and sell the gems. I don’t do much of this anymore as it is fairly well known and harder to find good enough profits here. Your server might be different. A similar option is buying ore and refining it to bars and selling the bars.

Jewelcrafter + Enchanting combination

Make Shadowmight rings from one Eternal Shadow and one Eternal Earth with your JC. Mats cost about 9-10g per ring. Disenchant the rings. You get an average of at least 3 Infinite Dust per ring with 4-5 common and 1-2 Greater Cosmic Essence fairly commonly. ID sell for 3.2-4.5g each, GCE 10-15g each, but see LSE above. I don’t do much of this anymore as it takes 10-20 minutes and the 50-100g profit isn’t worth the play time. The disenchanting is the slowest bit.
Regular 50-100g per day profit.

Tailoring + Enchanting combination

Buy cloth, make bolts, then make low cost tailoring greens. Disenchant them and sell the materials. This is similar to the JC + enchanting combo above. It can take some time to find the right market, and this takes some time to make bolts and greens then disenchant, but there is fairly easy money to be made here. I don’t use this method anymore for the same reason as above, the disenchanting takes too long when you do it in bulk.

There are many other trade skill combinations although many include the slow disenchanting component.

Using five to six of these methods I easily make 500-700 gold each day working it about 4-5 days a week. So about 2,500 gold per week for 1-2 hours work.

These are only the tricks I use or have used recently. There are many, many more. More ideas can be found on the expert’s blogs like Gevlon’s Greedy Goblin and Markco’s Just My Two Coppers.

One more suggestion. If you look into something, like Eternals, and find little profit in them check back every few weeks as the markets vary greatly. I can make a lot of money in one area for a few weeks and drive the price right down. I can then leave the market for a few weeks and come back to find to opportunity to make big profits return.

Good luck.

Uncut epic gems are showing increases in price on every server we tested. This is occurring even as

Uncut epic gems are showing increases in price on every server we tested. This is occurring even as the prices of many cut epic gems are decreasing in price. The reasons for this pricing anomaly are simple.

Demand is Up

Uncut (or raw) epic gems gain value as demand increases. We are currently seeing a demand increase because many jewelcrafters now each have several learned patterns and are increasingly gaining more. As jewelcrafters learn more patters, and seek to cut more gems, the demand for raw gems increases. Demand for cut gems is also on the rise due to the new Arena Season, new PVP gear and additional PVP content but the cut demand is not increasing as fast as the uncut demand… for now. It is reasonable to expect that cut gem demand will equalize with, or possibly even overcome, uncut gem demand as more players gain new gear and as players develop a coherent strategy as to how they wish to gem their gear with epic cuts. Of course, any increase in cut gem demand will also increase demand for uncut equivalents but the opposite relationship is not necessarily true.

Supply is Down

Again, with the release of new PVP gear, many players are back to spending their honor points on attaining this gear as opposed to purchasing gems for resale. Further, most players are reporting their experiences with prospecting Titanium Ore to be unprofitable and are thus not pursuing this avenue of gem creation either. This leaves a significant dent in the supply of raw epic gems and a market ripe for exploitation by the savvy WoW trader.

Conclusions

If you have excess uncut epic gems keep an eye out for opportunities to sell them at a premium. The servers we tested each showed at least 3 out of 6 possible colors of epic gems to have at least some cut gems that were selling lower than the price of uncut gems. One server showed at least one cut gem in each gem color category to be selling cheaper than their raw counterparts.

The signs of a good selling opportunity include (but are by no means limited to):

A very low (perhaps < 5) amount of uncut epics available

Multiple cut gems selling for less than their uncut counterparts

A sharp rise in prices of a popular cut gem(s)

The market is moving, make sure you are moving accordingly. In put it in PVE terms, don’t stand in the purple AH fire.

For several weeks now, every server tested is showing the price of Titansteel Bars to be higher than

For several weeks now, every server tested is showing the price of Titansteel Bars to be higher than the price of the materials required to create them. The bars are hovering at a consistently higher price while the more volatile Titanium Ore and Titanium Bars fluctuate wildly. Whilst a miner can only create one bar daily, this is a fast and easy means to profit provided you purchase or farm the materials inexpensively.

Even if you cannot find the materials at a price that makes the bars worth crafting there is still an opportunity to profit by selling your cooldown to another player with the materials. The thing to remember here is that, with the bars as profitable as they are currently and many new patterns circulating in the game, the price of that cooldown should be adjusted upwards instead of the decline that we were previously seeing. Let this message serve as your reminder to stop selling your cooldowns for pre-3.2 price levels and readjust at prices that reflect the new profitability of Titansteel and the loss of income that you experience by not crafting the bar yourself. When you are selling a cooldown, you are not selling the item but rather the opportunity cost of the item. It costs you gold to not craft your daily bars and it is for that loss of income that you should be compensated.

Along those same lines, if you’re an alchemist, even if you’re not transmute specced, be sure to transmute titanium bars on days when you are not transmuting epic gems. Ideally you’ve found plenty of opportunities with the overpriced epic gem market at present but on those few occasions when you either don’t have the mats or cannot attain them inexpensively don’t waste the opportunity that is your daily cooldown by ignoring this skill. Again, at the bare minimum, sell your cooldown to another player and profit from that.

Finally, with the price of Titanium and Titansteel bars being elevated, and the cooldown sales becoming more expensive, this is a fine time to reevaluate your pricing of secondary market Titanium-based goods as well.

JMTC has an article today that many over look. Epic gems cost 10k honor at the vendor in Hall of Legends/Champions Hall (PvP vendor). Ask people to trade in their honor in chat channel for the epic gem you would like to buy and offer them 100g for it. In the end each honor point for them translates to 1 silver. They get to offload honor, you get epic gems for 100g a pop. Win/Win! I am going to try this for 3 days and report back. Not sure if I am going to sell the gems on the AH or have them cut into some popular designs.

We’ve previously explained our reluctance to write about already hyped up WoWenomic trends but our r

We’ve previously explained our reluctance to write about already hyped up WoWenomic trends but our resident Jewelcrafter has recently weighed in to point out that he is just killin’ it these days with Titanium Powder.

Titanium Powder is the residue remnants of prospecting Titanium Ore. Ten of these powders can be turned in to Tiffany Cartier, the Dalaran Jewelcrafting supplier, for a single Dalaran Jewelcrafter’s Token. These tokens are then used to purchase various items and recipes of value to Jewelcrafters. Most recently, four tokens can be turned in for an epic gem recipe introduced in patch 3.2. The fact that these recipes are still so new to the game and the source material, Titanium Ore, is so high in price, creates an elevated demand for Titanium Powder.

Pricing, Prospecting and Powder

Our associate informs that he is generating huge profits by purchasing any Titanium Ore that falls below his bid level and immediately prospecting it and selling the proceeds. He claims to receive approximately one stack of 10 powder per 30 ore prospected. A rate that is roughly in line with the listed results on WoWhead.com. All told, he claims profits in excess of 150 gold per stack of titanium that he purchases. Provided he can gather or purchase enough ore below his bid level, this allows for an unbelievable amount of income in a very short time so we asked for his specifics. And he provided…

Bid level on stack of 20 Titanium Ore: equal to or under 300 gold
Sell price for single Titanium Powder: approximately 50 gold
Sell price for stack of 10 Titanium Powder: approximately 475 gold

The Big Money

So if he gets a stack of 10 powder (which he sells for 475-500) from approximately 30 Titanium Ore (at a maximum cost of 450 gold) we are left questioning where these ridiculous profits are coming from as this is only 25 to 50 gold. Still nice for zero effort but where’s the big money? That’s when he dropped the bomb… Titanium Powder is only a small part of the prospecting results. In addition to the powder, he regularly gets at least one epic gem per 20 ore prospected as well as 3-4 rare gems and 4-5 uncommon gems. As he’s a Jewelcrafter by trade (and not just an ore destroyer) he also cuts any gems that he has cuts for prior to listing in the AH. He sets his ask level for these items as follows (based on market conditions):

Uncommon gems: 1-5 gold
Rare gems: 5-12 gold (up to 50 for Scarlet Rubies)
Epic gems: 130-160 gold
Cut Epics: 190-380 gold

Let’s take the most modest of all those numbers (price and prospecting results): Assuming only 3 rare gems (and no rubies), 4 uncommon gems and a single epic per stack (not even counting cut epic gems) of titanium ore, all priced at the bottom of the chart above, we’re talking about an additional 148 gold. But wait, that math only accounts for a single stack of Titanium Ore but our previous numbers to reach 10 powder were based on prospecting 30 ore. This brings the total gem proceeds up to 222 gold. That’s 222 gold on top of the already 25-50 he’s bringing in from the powder (since we paid for the ore with our powder in this equation). Hot damn… those are some nice numbers.

Overall Strategy Tips

There are a few tips to making this strategy work for you.

We advise only selling the powder in stacks of ten or singles. The ten stacks are the perfect amount for someone just trying to get an additional token quickly and the singles are the perfect increment for players that just need a few more powders for their next token.

Don’t flood the AH with the dust or gems. Doing so will only cause the prices to drop faster.

Speaking of which, this is a “limited time only” strategy. Eventually the prices of powder and epic gems will deflate or the market will otherwise normalize. Act now if you intend to cash in.

Just like a drug (or junk bond) dealer, never get high from your own supply. Be patient and get your own tokens from the daily quest system. Don’t use your own powder for tokens since it sells for so much right now. Later, as prices of powder go down, you can use it in this fashion.

Have patience; sometimes the powder or gems won’t sell during a posting cycle. Other times it will all sell out, at any price. People get desperate or greedy but it can be cyclic. Play the long game.

Don’t try this on a single stack and expect exactly the same results. Our Jewelcrafting expert actually came up with these numbers based on spreadsheets that he uses to record his results and profits. Yes, he’s *that guy*. Anyway, he prospects hundreds of ore daily and the numbers he shared are based on his averages. In short, YMMV.

This strategy assumes an understanding of, and strict adherence to, a solid bid/ask strategy the development of which requires some amount of common sense. We make no assumptions about the common sense level of the average WoW player. Consider this a disclaimer.

The prices on your server may differ from those described above but the ratios and relative values are probably similar. Thus, use the above as a guideline but not exact price points. Do some homework and develop your own bid ask levels that work for your unique profit goals.

The Only Downside

Our Jewelcrafter asked me not to post the exact details under threat of incineration. His fear, and reasonably so, is that if this strategy becomes too popular then prices will drop faster and it won’t work any longer. I was actually hesitant to post this because he was pretty clear about his mortal threat to me but then I remembered that he plays a mage so I just LOL’d and posted it anyway. Of course, this assumes he was talking about in-game death. Perhaps I should have clarified…

I haven’t had a chance to edit or refine this yet! I’m just trying to get all the information out there to begin with, and will come back and proof read what I’ve written as soon as I have time. I’m a trained touch typist. Yay touch typing! The downside is you’re getting a very rough edition. Please bear with me while I get the information out there… plenty of time for refinement when BlizzCon is over!

Greg Street introduces himself as “You might know me as Ghostcrawler. You might know me as that asshole that nerfed your class.” Nice opening from the lead systems designer!

Also talking are Travis Day, in charge of item design, and John LeCraft (great surname!) in charge of profession design.

More talk on the two new races.

Goblin racial abilities:

Rocket Jump – Activate your rocket belt to jump up to 20 yards (2 min shared cooldown)

Rocket Barrage – Fire your belt rockets at an enemy within 30 yards (2 min shared cooldown)

Time is Money – Passive 1% increase to attack and casting speed (oh they’re going to be hateful little fuckers as rogues!)

Best Deals Anywhere – Full gold discount regardless of reputation.

Pack Hobgoblin – Summon your personal servant allowing bank access every 30 minutes (nice, though nothing beats a Jeeves for pure class!)

Better Living Through Chemistry – +15 to alchemy and more health/mana from potions.

Because it’s a lot of racials, the suggestion is they may be unlocked over time.

Worgen racial abilities:

Darkflight – Increase movement speed by 70% for 6 seconds (3 min cooldown)

Viciousness – Passive 1% damage bonus

Aberration – Passive 15% reduction to duration of curses and disease used against you

Flayer – +15 to skinning, you skin creatures faster, plus you don’t need a skinning knife (go go worgen claws!)

Worgen Form

Purely cosmetic: there’s no bonus to being in worgen form

Out of combat you get to choose between human and worgen form; in combat you’re automatically transformed to worgen

Goblin Classes

Death Knight

Hunter

Mage

Priest

Rogue

Shaman

Warlock

Warrior

No paladins or druids

Worgen Classes

Death Knight

Druid

Hunter

Mage

Priest

Rogue

Warlock

Warrior

No paladins or shaman

It was rumoured that worgen couldn’t play priests, but it sounds like they realised just how awesome worgen (especially, he commented, the females) will look in shadow form!

New racial class combinations – horde

Tauren priests (yay!)

Undead hunter (that… seems odd, but lots of room for humour on an RP server I guess!)

Blood elf warrior

Tauren paladin

Orc mage

Troll druid

New racial class combinations – alliance

Dwarf shaman

Gnome priest (fantastic mix of cheers and boos from the crowd!)

Human hunter

Night elf mage (again the cheer/boo divide!)

Dwarf mage

Nothing new for Draenei, who he commented have plenty of classes already and the missing options of druid, rogue or warlock didn’t make sense to them in terms of lore.

He apologises in advance for not going through every class in this particular panel discussion. Last year they tried to cover every class and ended up zipping through so fast they couldn’t cover any of the properly. Honestly? I think the above information could have been covered in a far more streamlined fashion to make space for the class specific details! Anyway, on with the show…

Warlocks

Soul shards no longer in bags! Oh finally! They want them to be “fun, not a hassle”.

New user interface shows soul shards under the character health/mana bar. Soul shards are only on your UI, not in your inventory.

They’re now used to blow your cooldowns. “When you wanna do something cool, it’s time to use a shard.”

Only used in combat – no more shards for summoning people or demons (yay!).

They still want them to be a core feature of the warlock class: “if you’re a warlock, you need to think about shards. If you’re casting spells and not thinking about shards, you probably want to play a mage and not a warlock.”

Three shards per fight. Toying with the idea that maybe the demonology tree gets a fourth shard.

Shards regenerate out of combat! Oh fuck me, that’s awesome – sounds like they’ve totally removed shard farming!

They will, however, make it possible to get more for long fights or mistakes: they don’t want warlocks to suddenly find they’re screwed midfight. Possibly looking at making drain soul the warlock version of mage’s evocation.

New spell – Soul Burn. Costs one shard, 30 second cooldown (non-global cooldown)

Soul Burn amplifies your next spell.

Many (not all) spells will behave differently when you use soul burn.

Soul burn will be the only spell which costs shards.

Examples of ideas they’re currently working on in terms of how soul burn affects spells include:

Searing pain – Next three searing pains crit

Summon demon – instant

Soulfire – instant (lots of boos and cheers!)

Fear – instant (more boos/cheers)

Death Coil – Longer horror and more healing received (oh dear gods I think they’re going to deify him then eat him alive!)

Hunters - “I know there’s a few of you left”

Mana – GONE! (Huge cheers!)

Hunters now use focus – they don’t need to worry about intellect or mana regen. *laughs* Sub-comment adds “GC said hunters are dumb!”

Focus regenerates continuously, much like rogue energy.

Steady shot improves the rate of focus regen

100 focus. Shots cost 30-60

Means fewer cooldowns on abilities

Removed Aspect of the Viper

Ammo becoming an item, not consumable (cry of “thank you!” from one woman in the audience… think she speaks for everyone there!)

Talk now handed over to Travis Day for information on…

Itemisation

Main focus going into Cataclysm was to streamline stats. They wanted to get rid of unnecessary stats (then why is spirit still there? Why?! I’m okay…), making the core stats more appealing and easier to understand.

MP5 is gone (cheers)

Instead mana regen comes from spirit (boos!)

All healers will get an in combat mana regen skill

All those mages and warlocks who roll on spirit gear at the moment can just stop that shit… er, I mean, there will be no more spirit on mage and warlock gear

Spell power is gone! (And a sub-comment “don’t panic”)

Instead it will come from intellect, which will now govern both mana pool and spell power (mighty cheers)

As well as hunters, enhancement shamans (who share the same gear) will also cease to have mana bars, so no longer need int gear.

Attack power is gone! (Sub-comment “now you can panic”, heh)

Instead agility will provide a blanket 2AP per point for rogues, hunters, shaman and druids.

No more plate wearers nicking AP gear!

Defence also gone! (Hurrah!)

No more juggling the defence cap. Instead tanks will receive anti crit from talents.

Armour penetration gone. Too confusing/mathsy

Replaced with something called mastery (which will be explained in a different panel)

Basically, whatever you do will be improved by mastery.

Haste (*laughs* People yelling before he’s even said another word!)

Increases the rate you gain energy, runes, rage or focus. Summed-up as “push more buttons”!

Enhancement shamans and retribution paladins will get additional talents to make this work for them.

Block value goes away. Instead a block will mitigate a percentage of damage, a little like dodge.

Stamina will be greatly increased for every class, from cloth through to plate wearers (woot!)

Image of Shadowmourne (the new legendary weapon). Big, shiny, blue two-handed axe, but no details as to stats. Mutter…

Nice laugh as they change speakers; a sub-title appeared under the Shadowmourne image reading “hunter weapon, obviously”!

Now handing over to John LeCraft to talk about professions.

Big news is obviously the new profession – archaeology. Sounds like the skill is still being fine-tuned, but information available so far is:

Secondary skill available to all, like cooking, fishing and first aid

Collect rare artifacts throughout the world

Unlocks paths, which are going to be discussed further at a later panel

Also provides unique rewards, such as vanity pets (a baby T-rex! Awesome!), titles, gain instant travel to a dungeon because you’ve discovered an underground passage, unique recipes, “random cool stuff”.

Beautiful looking archaeology journal which details what you’ve found and when. “Blackmarket value” listed for the shown item, which possibly means you can make cash from it too?

Works by finding artifacts all over the world. Once you get enough of a certain type, you perform a deciphering on them to figure out what they are. Sounds brilliant!

New ability – reforging

A way to customise gear (yay!)

Available to blacksmiths, leatherworkers, tailors, jewelcrafters and engineers, each of which will be able to reforge items related to their profession

Reforging allows you to reduce one stat and increase another. There will be some restrictions: you can’t put extra stats in something already on the item (so if, say, there’s already stamina on the item, you can’t increase it further)

General profession changes

Multi-gains will mean if you’re crafting something more expensive, it will give the same number of skill-up points as multiple craftings of something which would use the same overall amount of materials. Example given is one blue breastplate versus the same mats to make five bracers – both ways will give you five skill-ups. Really nice change, much cheering ensues!

Same concept will probably also be applied to gathering skills.

Looking at ways to make gathering more fun.

Engineering (“gone!” cried one of the other panellists!)

Admitted to walk the finest line between awesome and awful.

Meant to be a fun profession.

Going to add more convenience items like Jeeves and the wormhole generator.

Adding more toys, pets and gadgets with catastrophic failures. Damn I hope they keep goggles!

Apparently big changes coming to fishing, though he said he can’t talk about it yet. He claims they’re going to make it more fun. Like we haven’t heard that before…!

Q & A session kicks off with the subheading “no ret pally questions” – nice!

Q: Will there be racial bonus changes for the older races?

A: Almost certainly. We want to kind of catch them up to the newer races’ level of cool.

Q: Are all the professions going up by 75, and if so, what’s the new level going to be called? “Super master?”

A: There are going to go up by another 75 points. The new title will be “illustrious”.

Q: With WotLK we’re killing Arthas. Why are we doing worgen and goblin death knights? Doesn’t make sense.

A: First of all, spoiler! We talked a lot about that and ultimately decided it was more fun to let them go ahead and do it rather than preventing them for lore reasons.

Q: I know there’s talk of making more specs viable for raiding, but will there be ways of making more specs viable for levelling (mages – frost = levelling, fire = raiding – example given).

A: We’re going to revisit the levels you get all your abilities. One of the things we haven’t talked about, but I’ll go ahead and announce it now, is that we’re getting rid of ranks for all your abilities. You’ll get frost bolt, then when you gain a level, it will scale with you rather than going up in chunks when you train a new rank. (Much cheering ensues!)

Bronze Bars present an interesting value proposition to students of WoWenomics in that they benefit

Bronze Bars present an interesting value proposition to students of WoWenomics in that they benefit from having both a relatively high demand and a limited supply. Due to this combination of factors, and the fact that this material is often overlooked or forgotten about by maximum-level players, the bars can be an otherwise neglected market from which to profit. Bronze Bars will frequently sell out completely from the AH. In fact, we tested 14 auction houses at different times over the past week and found that approximately half the time the metal was sold out. In the occasions that the bars were in stock, the prices varied wildly suggesting that the bars go through lulls with no buyers and then peak when someone is power leveling an alt or switching the profession of their main. This presents a further opportunity for the astute WoW trader. Put another way, the majority of the prices we observed were on par or higher than those of Saronite Bars.

Demand

Bronze Bars are an essential part of the leveling process for Blacksmiths, Jewelcrafters and Engineers. For several of these professions the bars are integral to not only direct crafting of goods but also the crafting of component goods that go into other items so the metal has the somewhat unique position of being necessary for a higher than average part of the leveling process. This causes additional demand and is a key part of the reason that the bars will often sell out in bulk, regardless of price.

Supply

Unlike most other metals in WoW, Bronze cannot be made directly from an ore. As with the real world, no such raw ore exists. Bronze is made from mixing two metals, tin and copper. This slightly more complex process leads to a lower supply of the bars themselves. Many ore farmers just dump their supplies of the farmed ores into the AH without giving a thought to the possibility of making more gold by combining the two cheaper metals. Indeed, our favorite way to profit from the bronze trade is to find the two cheaper metals in the auction house and combine them, reselling the produced bronze for a hefty mark up.

Watch the Bronze Bar market yourself and see if you can’t identify some opportunities for profit that would otherwise be overlooked.

Here’s an interesting side note for you: Every student that has ever completed an elementary history course understands that the Bronze Age proceeded the Iron Age. What most people do not know is that the iron remained the inferior alloy at the time, with bronze being both stronger and more resistant to corrosion than the more popular and accessible wrought iron. So instead of an evolutionary process leading to the adaptation of a new metal, disruptions in the historic supply chains of tin (a key component of bronze) caused the cultural shift to the less sturdy ore. Ultimately, as smelting techniques improved, humanity progressed wholly into the Iron Age. But, in an interesting correlation to the WoW valuation of bronze, the tight supply of tin caused the metal to retain the property of being a semi-precious metal throughout the ages and, to a significant degree, even today.

All right. My apologies if this ruffles any feathers. People are gearing up at a ridiculous clip.

All right. My apologies if this ruffles any feathers. People are gearing up at a ridiculous clip. You need gems and chants. We have a helpful group of enchanters and jewelcrafters. Win win, right?

Wrong.

People. There’s a shiny happy post on here with who has what gem cut. We keep it updated as we get new epic patterns. There’s another post that lists our enchanters. Don’t dogpile on channel and ask JCs hey what gem should you get for a yellow slot (hint: it’s not a simple question. How’s your crit? Your hit? Your haste? What requirements does your metagem have? All of these are things you can look up yourself and use, along with the list of gems, to make an informed decision as to precisely what gem you need). Don’t whisper the crafters while they’re in a raid asking them to drop everything and look up if they have a certain pattern. There are seventy two epic gem patterns, and it’s unfair to expect the crafters to know who has what at the drop of a hat. There are dozens of enchanting patterns, as well. And for the love of god, don’t leap on a crafter the nanosecond they log on and start bugging them for stuff. That’s just rude.

In the past 24 hours I’ve had 9 whispered requests for gem cuts while I was in an Ulduar raid. I have not logged on a single time without getting a request in under 4 minutes. I spent 45 minutes cutting gems and working enchants after raid last night and still had to tell 3 people that no, no I couldn’t ‘just do X’ really quickly because I needed to log off. All of these things were caused by enthusiasm for new gear (and I totally get that sense of squee) overriding basic common sense and civility. Your crafter corps are people- real, actual people- who just like you want to enjoy the game. Please be polite and considerate when asking them to do stuff for you. Do your homework and then in-game mail requests to the appropriate JC or to the enchanters, so that when they are not in the middle of something they can help you. It will make everyone happier.

Apart from the approx. 100g-125g/day I make from transmuting Im doing really great on JC AH sales as well. Im buying raw gems for approx. 130g and selling for about 170g. ~40g gain on each sale and Im doing about 10 each day.
