It seems that almost everyone has given their opinion the feud between Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z. One person that has yet to speak on the situation is Jim Jones. For nearly five years, Jones has been feuding with Jay-Z. Because of his issues with Jay, Jones has been dissed by Beanie Sigel, but now those two are enemies.

Jim Jones said that Beanie Sigel is only dissing Jay-Z for attention. He said that the Philadelphia rapper has a right to be upset over whatever happened during his time there. At the same time, Jones said that Beans should have been smarter with his decisions while he was under Hov’s wing.

Given the way rappers tend to do now, Jim Jones said that he realizes the best way for a rapper to draw attention is to dig into another rapper. Right now, the top target is Jay-Z. In the past, Jim Jones has drawn attention by going in on Jay-Z. Jones said of all of the people to try and stir the pot with Jay, Beans would be the best, seeing how he was in the same camp with him.

Jones said that he feels that Sigel is upset because he feels that the Roc should still be together and that his Jay-Z disses are his way of venting.

I recently watched the film Milk starring Sean Penn and directed by Gus Van Sant, a bio-pic about San Francisco’s first openly gay elected official Harvey Milk, on DVD. I was pleased I did as I found it very interesting and I’d not previously known much about him or his life. One thing did puzzle me though. In the 1970s in San Francisco there was a religious, marxist, socialist group calling themselves The Peoples Temple. Harvey Milk was a known and ardent supporter of the group, led by their ‘pastor’ Jim Jones. Jones billed himself as a humanitarian to the outside world and God to his followers. He was, infact, a maniac who led over 900 men, women and children to their deaths in the jungles of Guyana in 1978. Newspaper exposes on Jones’ brutal treatment of his followers and criminal activity had been reported as early as 1972 but were largely ignored until it was too late. Both Milk and San Francisco Mayor George Moscone, and other officials, were supporters of Jones and the temple and both were assasinated just over a week after the Guyana deaths by former SF City Supervisor Dan White. However, there is no mention of this in the film whatsoever. It’s not even referenced or alluded to. I understand that in a biopic it’s usually not possible to mention everything in a person’s life, however given the level of Milk and Moscone’s involvement in the temple, Milk wrote a letter defending Jones to then US President Jimmy Carter and Moscone refused to have Jones investigated even after his human rights violations became public knowledge. I really feel it should have been mentioned. Do check the film out just don’t expect to be getting the full story. Thanks for reading.

A few weeks ago, Cam’ron said that there was no way that Dipset would ever reunite. This was in response to Juelz Santana’s hope that he and Jim Jones could reunite with Cam. Santana was more than willing to make something happen, only if Cam would apologize for his past comments about his drug use.

Earlier in the year, Cam’ron had said that if the money was right that he would be welcome to working with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana again. Apparently, he had a change of heart somewhere down the line. He said that Dipset is over, as in the past, and there was no way that he was going to reunite with them.

After those comments from Cam’ron were released, Juelz Santana responded. He felt disappointed by the statement, but still expressed interest in working with his former partner, again. Now, Jim Jones has made his response to the situation. He said that he is Dipset, the movement never went anywhere.

Jones said that Juelz Santana has just as much right to Dipset as Cam’ron. There is not one person that can simply end the movement. He said that Cam’ron needs to be more careful in the words that he chooses because things could get ugly if someone takes things personal. He went on to say that Dipset is him and it started in the projects, 5H.

For anyone hoping for a reunion, that is not looking likely. Instead, those hopes need to be pinned on a truce between Jim Jones and Cam’ron because things are only moments away from getting ugly between the two rappers.

Everything has a way of getting worse before it can ever become better.  For the former group known as Dipset, war between Cam’Ron and Jim Jones continues to draw more lines in the sand which should not dare to be crossed.

It was reported earlier that Cam’Ron had officially dissolved the brand known as Dipset and claimed that the set was over indefinitely.

Jim Jones, however, may see things a completely different light than his former friend as he responded saying that Cam’Ron does not have the power to shut down the movement.  Speaking on Shade 45’s Lip Service, Jones issued a word of advice to Killa.

“You gotta watch what you say as being one person because if someone was to take that personal, it could get ugly.”

He also added an invitation to those that might have a problem with him saying that he is Dipset and the fact that it was far more than a group.  His history growing up shows that he was part of the movement way before the music even started to flow.

“Whoever don’t like it, I said it, I’m Dipset.  I been Dipset.  Dipset started in the projects, 5H, and ain’t nobody get me out of 5H but myself.  They raided the apartment, me and Uncle Ricky, 600 bundles of dope, what’s up? That’s what we was doing in the projects.  Nobody got me out of that.  Dipset is ours.”

Jones also took the time to poke jabs at Cam by referencing his last Internet clip where Killa was in a grocery store and Capo stated that his words are not meant to build a buzz.

“This is not a publicity stunt.  I don’t go around sitting in shopping carts and things like that.  I go around getting money.  If it’s a problem, there’s a thin line between love and hate.”

It feels as though everything is continuing to crumble in slow motion for The Diplomats and Harlem has become divided as long as Jim Jones and Cam’Ron remain on opposite sides.

This album is entirely composed by the Black Keys and featuring artists nclude RZA, Pharoah Monch, Nicole Wray, Mos Def, Jim Jones, Billy Danze, NOE, Raekwon, Ludacris, ODB and Q-tip.

But just in case, after Jonestown, there is any lack of awareness of the occult violence of liberalism, just check out the video.  Liberal violence is well documented, though.  Every society that has tried to implement liberal socialism has had to resort to coercion.  So let’s go on to Begley’s sophomoric arguments.

He objected to a physics professor voicing an opinion regarding global warming.  Guess what, Ed, all the “science” that climate “scientists” claim ownership of comes from physics.  The difference is that physics does not respond to politics and climate science does.  Begley, you are an overeducated moron.  I would take the opinion of a legitimate physicists over that of a “climate scientist” any day, any time, on any subject.  Physicists do math, climate scientists do spin.

And then regarding your comment to Stewart Varney that “You don’t get to spoil the commons”.  Begley, just another confirmation that you have received education that far exceeds your intelligence.  When Hardin described the Tragedy of the Commons in 1968, he thereby clearly explained the reason that liberal socialism is bound to fail.  ”The Commons” will always be spoiled, even Nazi Germany and Communist Russia with their coercive secret police apparatus could not prevent it.  Well, Ed, maybe what’s needed to make the liberal socialist “Commons” work is simply more of your anger and violence.

Congratulations, Ed Begley, you refresh the memory of the lesson that Jim Jones taught us back in 1978.  Every generation needs to be reminded.  Liberal socialism equals violence and coercion.  You’ve done your duty.

Im wesentlichen skizziert er das Bild, welches uns heute unter dem Überbegriff “Klimakatastrophe” beschäftigt (Erderwärmung durch Kohlendioxidausstoss, Abschmelzen der Polarkappen, Überschwemmungen sowie Ausdehung der Wüstengebiete).

Ortswechsel: Guyana. Am 20. November 1978 befiehlt der amerikanische Sektenführer Jim Jones den Anhängern seiner “Peoples Temple” Sekte den kollektiven Selbstmord. Es sterben durch Freitod und Mord etwa 800 Menschen.

Wieder zurück in Deutschland: Hier verknüpfen sich die beiden oben geschilderten Begebenheiten in den Synapsen des jungen Künstlers Moritz R, der sich dazu berufen fühlt, ein Flugblatt (diese sind in den letzten Jahren etwas aus der Mode gekommen, heute hätte er wohl einen Blogeintrag verfasst…) zu entwerfen mit dem Titel: “Sektenselbstmord: Ein ermutigender Schritt!” in welchem er den Freitod als probates Mittel beschreibt, um der drohenden Überbevölkerung und den daraus erwachsenden Problemen zu begegnen. So wird das Vorgehen der Peoples Temple Sekte als begrüssenswert beschrieben und weitergehend eine Aufforderung formuliert: “Gerade diejenigen unter uns, denen der Gebrauch ihres Verstandes eine Last und das Begreifen komplizierter Zusammenhänge unmöglich ist, sollten diesem kompromisslosen und konsequenten Beispiel folgen und so ihren Beitrag für die Menschheit leisten.”

Moritz R ist zu diesem Zeitpunkt Teil der Künstlergruppe Art Attack, aus der später das Musiklabel Atatak entsteht. Und es kam, wie es kommen sollte: Seine Kunstaktion mit reaktionärem Antlitz bringen ihm Drohungen und Beschimpfungen ein.

Aber die Kernfrage bleibt bis heute ungeklärt und wenig diskutiert: Würde es uns nicht viel besser gehen, wenn wir nicht ganz so viele auf diesem Planeten wären? Und was sind dann die Konsequenzen daraus? Schwierige Frage, auf die wahrscheinlich auch Moritz R keine Antwort bereit hält. Er hat uns jedoch als Mitglied der Musikgruppe DER PLAN viele simple Weisheiten zum Besten gegeben, wovon eine zumindest eine Orientierung zur Lösung des hier besprochenen Problemes andeutet:
