Now on the other hand some of my Caucasian friends think that Beyonce’s booty is too big.  Huhn?  Too big?  They’d prefer Angelina Jolie styled booty.  Don’t get me wrong, Angelina is cute, but she doesn’t have booty.  She has a flat booty – CD cover booty.

 There’s no right or wrong in this situation.  The choice is yours, phat booty or flat booty?

Winter Boo

During the winter months, life starts to slow down and most find themselves comfortable at home in hibernation mode outside of work and special occasions.  Because of this, having a winter boo or snuggle buddy is helpful to get through this season of battling the elements.  We are looking for hardworking, dedicated candidates that will make this season fun and exciting, making spring and summer feel like it’s right around the corner.

DUTIES:

Be responsible to take out trash, warm up cars, do door drop-off’s/pick-up’s and carry in ALL grocery bags.  Must be available for on most weekends, some weekdays if there is a paid holiday at work.  Must be employed to be considered for this position.

Being well groomed and presentable is essential as you may be asked to escort to events such as: The Fair, Zoo Boo, Weddings, Thanksgiving family dinner, Christmas work functions, Christmas family dinner, New Year’s Eve and all things related to Valentine’s Day.  Assignment will likely end immediately after Valentine’s Day if you are in the Southern region of the United States.  Assignment for Northern states will end close to Easter Sunday.  This is subject to change depending on “The Hawk” and Mother Nature.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates will be gainfully employed*, have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle in THEIR name and THEIR own place of residence*.  You cannot be currently living with a female who is not your cousin or sister, we are not looking for any momma’s boys.

Candidates must be chivalrous, courteous and available for movie night, game night, bowling and all other winter boo activities.  Cannot be socially inept, must be able to interact with others without causing embarrassment.  Must smell good.  Ability to cook is preferred. Cannot be cheap-this is why you need to be gainfully employed.

• There will be no benefits provided for this position-let me reiterate that you need to be gainfully employed.
• There is no relocation package included; you must be a local resident.
• For all * qualifications, you will be asked to provide proof.

You cannot be married or in a winter boo agreement with another party.

That is grounds for automatic disqualification.

Megan Fox: ‘I’m not a tigress like Angelina’

“I’m the opposite. When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical.
But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor.

I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that.”

While the “Transformers” franchise actress has offered plenty of quotes that would indicate
she is in fact a “tigress,” like once saying she would “eat” Zac Efron,
the actress said sometimes the Megan people read about, is actually someone else entirely.

“When I sit down to talk to men’s magazines, there’s a certain character that I play,”
she told the mag.
“She’s not fully fleshed out — she doesn’t have her own name — but she shows up to do men’s magazine interviews.
There’s something so ridiculous about always being in your underwear in those magazines,
and you know the interview is going to run opposite those pictures. So, there’s a character that talks to all of them.”

Megan said she also isn’t the woman described in the anonymous “Transformers” crew letter,
which surfaced after she compared director Michael Bay to “Hitler” in an interview,
and which suggested she was “thankless, classless, graceless” and an “unfriendly b****.”

Today I bought the “Jolie”. Actually I wanted the “Cosmopolitan” but of course it was already sold out so I had to take the Jolie instead. Well, not the American version cause I’m currently not living in the US… and therefor won’t be able to watch New Moon until november 25th. Yep, you heard me right. My life sucks! But to distract myself from that I’ve planned some really great stuff for our blog, promise! So watch out!
But back to the Jolie… At home I discovered -I swear I didn’t see it before- that in there was an interview with Robert Pattinson. Headline: “Interview with a Vampire”. How very creative, like we haven’t heard that one about a million times before… I read through it and I couldn’t believe all the stuff they say about Rob. Or what Rob answered them. Or maybe what they pretend Rob answered. So without further adieu here come the most important FACTS concerning Robert Pattinson according to the (not so) fantabulous interview Jolie featured in their december issue (oh god please let there be ten, because I so love top ten lists…):

FACT 1: It seems as if you play yourself in Twilight (honestly Jolie, are you kidding me? Are you serious about that?)
FACT 2: If people would see how you look in the morning they would scream (Yeah, I totally would. Cause waking up and seeing you would so mean we spent the night together. A dream come true. So that would be worth a little screaming, right?)

So Rob, did you really say all that stuff to the interviewer? Or were you maybe just hungover from too many Heinekens the night before? I cannot explain how I could ever got addicted to someone who once called himself Claudia but whatever, it’s too late to change that now anyway… at least I had a fun time reading all that crap they call an “exclusive interview”.

SO when I meet anyone it’s in my nature to find out everything about them. I wouldn’t call it nosey moreso inquisitive. So when I met SF back in 01 I wanted to know everything.

Well SF joined the military right out of high school and was shipped off from D.C. to my hometown. While he was in my hometown he apparently was lonely and missed his high school gf. She later moved to my hometown. Eventually they fell out and she moved back to D.C. So SF and I meet in 2001 and well you know the rest of that story from the last post. Anywho, in 2002 (I think) I went back to my hometown for a visit and caught up with S.F. I found out that him and the old gf were back together etc and that we was about to be deployed. Fast forward to after his deployment he contacts me again and I find out this:

• While he was deployed his gf stayed in my hometown
• He signed over power of attorney to her
• She was getting enough money where she didn’t have to work
• So she gambled
• He came back after deployment to find out none of his bills had been paid, one of his pets was dead, his other pet was on his last leg
• He was demoted due to the delinquencies on his bills
• She kicked him out of his own house after he returned from deployment and was upset about all of the above

Anywho fast forward to him leaving the military (which had to do a lot with the above) he returned to D.C. I met up with him. He looked different. He was different. I guess that’s what being deployed to some places will do to you. I had a bf at the time so nthing jumped off. He was no longer with chick, etc.

Find him on FB this year and he is BACK WITH CHICK ..the same chick! Ughh GOOD GRIEF …

Anyway, they broke up now a couple months back and he’s single again and hopefully sane. Its amazing what some men will put up with and it kind of gives me pause about him.

I made sure I saw him on Veteran’s Day and kissed the vet. I  cant believe someone would do that to anyone let alone someone who was fighting for our country. Kind of makes me sick to my stomach.

That story wasn’t as long as I thought..

Who knows!?

So after the debacle of my Friday and half of my Saturday dealing with the Cornflake I woke up on Sunday morning and decided I would set-up a call to ensure a Sunday date. (Actually, I talked to this guy on Saturday and we decided to hook up on Sunday but I was basically supposed to call him to confirm since I had cancelled on him 6 times in the last month and hadn’t seen him since 2004.)

I guess I should tell the background story first.

Well I met this man back in 2001. I was 19 and he was (counting on fingers) 22. I was back home from Howard for summer break. I met him while out at a casino. We talked. Talked. Eventually we went out on a few dates and then we were inseparable for the entire summer. I was basically at his house everyday. I would wake up and go to my summer job at Wet n’ Wild, he would go to his job on Base. Did I mention he was in the military (melts……..)?

Anyway, it was summer love; a summer fling. At the end of the summer I returned to Howard. He would call me often but I mean it was Howard, he came to D.C. to visit (he was originally from D.C) and I didn’t take the time to see him. By the time he came there I already had a boyfriend at Howard and I basically had moved on. Anyway.. fast forward to 2004. He gets out of the military (long story) and comes back to D.C. after a 2 year tour in Afghanistan. I met up with him but after 3 years apart he just seemed different. It might have been the time he served abroad, distance or time but I just wasn’t interested. Shortly after we reunited I started a relationship with a new dude that would last about 3 4 years. After that ended in 07 I thought about him but never took the effort to find him. This year no clue when I searched his name on Facebook and LOW AND BEHOLD I found him! We have been talking on FB for months, he then signed up for gmail so we could gchat..

(what he’s been doing for the last few years is another story for another day.. or maybe I should tell it and make this two parts..hmm)

Anyway, I’ll tell that tomorrow.

So we meet up on Sunday. He lives in Bmore now so he came down to me in my neck of the woods in Maryland. We sat and had a drink or 4 and ate dinner. We talked and talked and talked. It was sooo easy to talk to him that I kept asking myself why I took so long to reconnect with him. He talked about how he had missed me and felt I had been dissing him for years, etc. We talked about old times. That summer had a lot of firsts wrapped around it and especially him.

1. first time I was ever handcuffed
2. first time ever being in a waterbed ( I asked him if he still has waterbed luckily the answer was, no)

Anyway, after drinks and dinner we went back to my place and talked some more. One thing led to another and all of a sudden we were 19 and 22 again. It was a great way to end a WEIRD WEEKEND.

More on him tomorrow; I think his name will be lolliking.. mandingo.. no.. um SF for Summer Fling.

Some of you who read follow me on twitter and you probably read my tweets from Friday night to late Saturday afternoon. You probably read my pleas for someone to save me. Save me from being stuck with this man who we will call Cornflake. We will call him Cornflake because that is what the majority of my friends called him last year when they met him.  Apparently at the house party he attended with me in NY (where he lives) a JayZ song came on and he didnt recognize it. THE ROOM of people did not let him live it down. After this weekend I’ve come to the conclusion that he is a dork. Ok, honestly I’ve known he was a dork for the 4 yrs I’ve known him but sometimes for some reason I think people will be different the next time I see them. Well he was different.

He was different in the fact that this time he tried to DO ME! Let me back up. Cornflake and I are friends. We’ve always been friends for the past 4 yrs. We shared a kiss for the first time last year. He kisses like a turtle though (he never really sticks his tongue out just kinda rests it at his lips..YUCK!) Anywho, he hit me up 2 wks ago and asked if he could come visit. His parents live here but everytime he comes down he is so caught up with them I never see him. SO since my plans fell through to go to Houston this past weekend I agreed that he could come down. He arrived around 10:30 on Friday. I had been out drinking with a friend and made it home in time to do a quick cleaning of the house and throw my clothes in my guest room. I stay up until 11pm and then head to bed. I leave him in the living room. He comes to my room to sleep around 1am. We sleep. Well he sleeps. He starts to snore like a BEAR and I leave the room shut the door and sleep on my couch. The bed in my guestroom was full of clothes. I can still hear him snore through the door. ughh! Anyway… (this is getting long). Flashforward to after breakfast. I’m laying on the couch so is he..he keeps turning the channel surfing between and Einstein documentary and a Nirvana concert (did I mention this man is black). I fall asleep. Eventually, I wake up .. he comes close says and asks for a hug.. then he says, “your neck smells good.. you wanna have sex?” I reply, “now that you’ve asked actually, NO!”

UGHHH so awkward. HE then asks for a kiss. I decline and say I havent brushed my teeth. He says he doesnt care. I say I do. HE attempts to lay on top of me. I attempt to push him off. THIS is when I make my great escape. I get up and take a shower. I start gchatting my friends asking for a way out. I shower, come out and say “I have bad news. MY mom just flew in from London and I need to pick her up and she is going to stay here, sorry.” He says ok picks up his stuff and says he is going to go to his parents. I escape and breathe a sigh of relief.

I knew.. probably that this shat would happen in the back of my mind YET I brought all of this on myself. It makes for a good laugh now but at the time I was MISERABLE .. ughh

I recently wrote a Facebook status about how tired I am of seeing perfect women everywhere. I got several replies telling me I had nothing to worry about. That’s not the point: these goddess women are still EVERYWHERE.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy looking at them: I, also, am mesmerized by their beauty. What bothers me is that I feel that becoming flawless or even reaching their level is somehow unattainable.

Nevertheless, these women give me inspiration. For this reason, I decided to dedicate this portion of my blog to women who are more beautiful than I probably ever will be.

The first one I can think of is French actress Audrey Tautou. I watched one “Hors de Prix” last night and I was simply blown away by how gorgeous this woman is.

Of course, there’s also Angelina Jolie. I don’t always find her beautiful, but in her movie Beyond Borders (great movie by the way).

There’s also Queen Rania of Jordan

Then, there’s Alice Taglioni. She plays a model in the movie “La Doublure” with one of my personal favorites; Gad El Maleh

Let’s not forget my brother’s crush (whose beauty I can’t deny), Jessica Alba

Well, enough of this for today. I’m starting to feel a bit too humbled by these incredible women.  Maybe I’ll continue on this topic later.
