Joo Ji-hoon will enter military service in early 2010

Joo Ji-hoon is set to serve his military duty at the beginning of 2010. Although no date is confirmed, the actor is serving out his 120 hours of community service in Geo-yeo dong and at the social welfare center in Poong-nab-dong in Seoul.

With his official homepage shut down as of December 1st, Joo Ji-hoon is passing the time studying other languages. The indicted actor will return to acting after serving the army for 2 years. Hopefully, by that time, netizens will forgive and forget.

I have always walked alone

The recurring sound of violent water against hard rock could be heard even miles from the beach. But the woman heed it not as she continued walking barefoot down towards the foamy waters. The imprints of her feet dug an irregular shape onto the wet sand. Yet as soon as her feet left the ground, the traces were erased by the incoming waves of water. Cold it was. Oh so cold that it could chill one to the bone. Yet she did not care.

The tears that streaked her face had already taken away all of her sensitivities She could no longer feel anything but her own heart breaking. Over and over again it went, defeating all the other sounds that dared to challenge her own heart. As she tred on the shoreline of the secluded beach, she simply stared ahead. Her destination; nowhere. Her purpose; nothing.

Her once colorful sapphire eyes were dazed with a mournful expression that shook her body with tremors of pain and cries. No sound was made as she continued walking but her tears kept coming. They just wouldn’t stop, blurring her vision and clouding her mind. She couldn’t even see the round glass bottle floating about her feet. The opportunity went away as the bottle was swept out to sea by the waves. It wouldn’t ever be seen again.

Like the mystery of the soil grasping the flower tightly
Like the turbulence of the sky tangling with the rain
Behind you, counting steps, every rearview, every scene
I had dreams of them

The busy life of a Korean citizen couldn’t be disturbed even when a severe thunderstorm warning has been put into effect for the last two hours. The headlights and roaring engines of the streets proved it to be so. Even when the rain lashed out violently against the windshields so that the windshield wipers couldn’t keep up, the cars kept going towards their destination.

Kwon BoA sat in the passenger seat, watching the gloomy scenery of another day pass by her. Her eyes could not focus on one thing at a time but even so, she didn’t want to. Despite all the precautions, nothing went as planned today. She was gone. Her brother’s girlfriend went missing on the day of his funeral and she couldn’t be found. What can BoA do about that but shake her head? Due to the nature of his death, the funeral had been postponed for some time already. She couldn’t possibly delay it more because of her brother’s girlfriend. Thus, she had buried her brother.

In truth, she was rather grateful that Eun Hye had not been there to witness Ji Hoon’s burial. She would only cry and break down more under his dying presence. It would not do for the woman who had already grown weak because of his death. Because of how busy the funeral had been, no one had noticed the missing presence of her brother’s girlfriend. But she did and she had been informed the woman went missing. What was she doing now? BoA sighed again and looked out the scenery passing by the glass window.

“S-stop!” She suddenly shouted to her husband.

“Are you crazy, BoA? It’s pouring out there.” Jae Joong berated, unwilling to assent to his wife’s wishes.

Even though she had her quirks and he liked those quirks, he didn’t want her to risk her life out there in the storm. It was raining cats and dogs not to mention the constant thundering bolts of lightning occupying the sky. His wife was pregnant, making her health very fragile. Should she stay in the rain too long, she’ll catch a cold or worse pneumonia.

“Stop the car!”

Mumbling to himself, Jae Joong changed lanes and stopped the car on the sidewalk. Before he could say anything further, his wife burst out of her seat and ran out of the car. But her steps were hindered by her bulging belly, much to Jae Joong’s relief. He himself got out of the car and went to her side, shading her body with the umbrella he had just opened.

“Get back in the car. W-Where are you going?’

One glance at the building in front of him and Jae Joong understood perfectly. After a moment, Jae Joong decided to stay outside while his wife enter.

“`

The woman did not heed her surroundings at all. Her eyes were on the blooming white rose bushes in front of her. Occasionally, her fingers would brush the soft petals to admire its texture and insignificant beauty. Why insignificant? The one who gave birth to this certain rose bush was her boyfriend. Now that he was no longer by her side, what was the value of this plant? If she could only trade this plant for her boyfriend, she would do so immediately. But she could not. Ji Hoon had nurtured this plant for nothing.

Eun Hye reached her hand out once again and caressed the sharpened edges of those thorns surrounding the blooming white flowers. The rough texture was indeed harsher than the petals due to the raggedness of its thorns. She did not, however, feel the thorns prickle the skin of her fingers and its effort to draw her blood. Suddenly, a wet hand enveloped her wrist and she looked up slowly to see his sister. She lowered her eyes again and gently pulled away from her boyfriend’s sister.

“People always have misconceptions on surfers. They are very strong with their determination to take on the waves. They wait for the opportunities and then strike without warning. They live to take on the rush of adrenaline.” Eun Hye smiled but the melancholy in her voice and eyes told BoA that she was thinking of opposite things. Her hands caressed the blooming roses again. “But Ji Hoon was different and these roses are the proof. It shows that those who live for the thrill can also be heartwarming and loving as well. After all, he did nurture this plant back to health after it was thrown away shamelessly by its master. He is a very special man.”

The sister nodded.

“He was.”

“I take it the funeral ended already.” Eun Hye said. BoA nodded. “How did it go?”

“It was pouring but alright. Everybody came. Everyone but you.”

Eun Hye lightly chuckled.

“Did you bury him with his favorite board? You know, the one with flames on it. That one was given to him by his sunseng-nim. It was his lucky surfboard. Or did you bury him with his favorite shirt on? Did you? Did you?”

“Eun Hye.” BoA grabbed the woman’s shoulders and shook them. “Why didn’t you go to the funeral? Once the coffin closed, you won’t be able to see him anymore. He’ll be officially dead. Why didn’t you see him for the last time?”

“He’s already dead even before you closed the lid! Why do I have to be there and see him? Why do I have to stand there in the rain hoping that he will open his eyes and tell me it’s all pranks?!” Tears splattered onto the rose bush Eun Hye now had in her hand, staining the roses with its saline touch. The girlfriend’s voice lowered. “Why can’t I be the one you bury him with?”

The pot of Ji Hoon He’s favorite roses shattered just as Eun Hye collapsed onto the floor.

Every time I will go far away by myself
Keeping my silence, not creasing my forehead
But this time you said let’s go together
Being gentle with each other from now on.

She opened her eyes and strained her sight against the glaring light of the sun. Spots clouded her vision and she moaned from the pain in her head. The loud banging and clanking of pots and pans somewhere near didn’t help ease it either. Eun Hye slowly sat up, pulling her body away from the clinging of her white floral blankets. There the battering sounds went again, ringing in her brain. Immediately it was identified as hateful objects that were damaging to her body. What day was it today?

Eun Hye got up from the bed and glanced at her reflection in the mirror. She was still wearing that ghastly dress from yesterday. Yesterday… What was it about yesterday that nagged her mind? She glanced at the calendar plastered on the wall next to the mirror and peered at it. To her surprise it was scratched and slashed to mere shreds that barely hung onto each other. The sound from outside her room became more insistent. Her head pulsed with extreme pain every time a loud sound was made, urging Eun Hye to take action against it. Finally, she exited her bedroom and entered the kitchen where she was sure the sound came from.

“Ji Hoon?” Eun Hye called out.

For a moment there, she dared to take on hope. Hope for a future she thought she couldn’t have. But alas, as her eyes scanned the area of the kitchen, the glass box shattered inside of her once again. Standing near the stove stirring a pot of soup was not Ji Hoon but her mother. When the old woman heard that name, she turned sharply at her daughter and scowled.

“I cannot understand why you want to be with that surfer so much.” Azora Yoon rebuked with a shake of her head. “He’s a surfer who doesn’t have any education whatsoever. He’s a playboy who probably watch porn. And plus, he’s dead. It’s degrading to the Yoon family for you to even mourn for him.”

“He’s never like that!” Eun Hye argued, clenching her fists to keep herself from crying. Again.

“I’ve raised you well. I’ve taught you manners. You shouldn’t be mulling over a stupid dead guy and get your grades up! The professor called me and told me your grades are slipping at the university. So get your grades up young lady and stop with your stupid infatuations. He’s buried and dead. Get over it. Yoon Eun Hye, are you listening to me?”

“You listen!” The daughter shouted, stunning her mother into silence. Never had her daughter raised her voice against her. If it wasn’t for her meeting with that pudding head Ji Hoon He then her daughter would be thriving in school. Never would she raise her voice. “He’s not just some dolt, he’s not some player. He’s Ji Hoon and he’s my boyfriend. I know you’re telling me all of this so that I would be back to my old self. But umma, everything has changed. He’s gone. I loved him!”

“W-Well then…” Her mother stuttered. Before her daughter met that Ji Hoon, she wouldn’t be the one to publicly display her emotions so thoughtlessly like she did now. It has been a long time since Azora Yoon see her daughter cry so for a moment she was rendered speechless. “You can forget him just as easily as you love him. He’s dead anyway. What kind of surfer drowns?”

“How would you know! How would you know that it’s that easy to forgot someone you lost, umma?” Eun Hye laughed sinisterly, wiping away her tears. “Oh wait, I forgot. You lost Dad to cancer. Do you want me to remind you what happened to you when he was buried? I thought you would understand… I thought you’d help me. But nothing can prove to me more than right now that you don’t care about my feelings at all. And Ji Hoon drowned because he was trying to save a kid from a storm! Don’t spout sh.it you don’t understand. I hate you!!!”

The topic Azora’s daughter brought up shocked her so much that she staggered. But the sight of her daughter running out of the house was even more appalling. Somehow, she had a feeling that Eun Hye won’t be coming back. And that devastated her.

White Horse glides through, an encompassing darkness,

The secluded beach was no longer secluded. Instead, it was occupied by a woman whose feet unknowingly took her closer and closer to the waves. Her shouts and vociferations were luridly attacking the sea in front of her and each time she finished one curse, she would take a step forward. She was Yoon Eun Hye and she was dangerously getting closer to drowning herself. Already, she was knee-deep. That, however, did not stop her from screaming his name and cursing him for all eternity. Her love had turned to hate with just one incident. An incident that took him away from her.

“Ji Hoon!!” Eun Hye hollered. “You told me you’ll be there when I wake up every day. Where were you this morning? Why weren’t you there? Why didn’t you defend yourself against mom?”

“Take me away.” She brushed away her tears frantically, biting her lips to keep in the pain. But she couldn’t take it. Her feelings were overflowing. She couldn’t breathe. “You told me you’d take me away from here. You told me we’ll go to a place where you’ll grow a lot of roses for me. You told me the people there will be friendly.” Eun Hye screamed. Slowly, she tred deeper into the water. It was now up to her chest. As she continued screaming reasons why, a colorful glass bottle unknowingly passed by her. “You told me you’d take me away; that we’ll have a future together.” She looked at her hands and could only cry harder. “Ji Hoon!! I’m waiting for your hand, I’m waiting for you. Where are you!?! I hate you!”

As soon as the sentence was absorbed by the sea, Eun Hye cupped her hands over her mouth. Her vision blurred and then cleared up, rendering her vision sharper and more vivid. Her eyes scanned the cold water around her and finally spotted that glass bottle floating about three feet away.

“Putting your feelings in a glass bottle and letting it float out to sea had always been a favorite sport of mine. Why? It’s a practice for me to let go. I would put all the feelings I have inside, whether it is good or bad, and let it go. Occasionally, I would get some replies back. So, Eun Hye, when you have something to say, write it on a piece of paper and let it float out to sea. I’ll be sure to reply to you.”

She ran towards it with all her might. But the gravity of the water delayed her actions and the receding waves only defied her all the more, bringing the bottle out of her grasp just as she reached out for it. More determined than ever, Eun Hye reached out for it again. A smile broke onto her face as she felt her fingers gather around the round base of the bottle.

As she scrutinized at it, Eun Hye realized she had seen this bottle somewhere before. Its fragile glass built was translucent with rainbow colors that shifted and changed in her hands. She could see a small piece of lined paper folded in Ji Hoon’s signature rose origami. Everything was kept within with a teardrop glass top cork. This was the bottle that Ji Hoon had last threw out to sea, the one he didn’t want her to read. With quivering fingers, she slowly opened the cork top and dropped it. Then she took out the rose origami and gently pried open the paper.

I’ve known her for four years and we’ve been going out for all of those days. From these one thousand four hundred sixty days, I find that I know more about her than I do myself. She is a lovely woman indeed, the only one I have my eyes on since the day her sapphire blue eyes latched onto mine four years ago.

It’s going to be her birthday in several weeks. I’m going to propose to her. Wait for me, Eun Hye. All those promises I spoke to you about, as long as you say yes to me, I’ll do it. For you, I will. Just wait a couple more weeks and I’ll take you away. I promise.

“I’m not afraid….” Eun Hye whispered as her tears stained the penmanship.

The bottle and its message was swept away by the crashing waters.

Thats right. Today’s theme is Aviator sunglasses. Well because who doesn’t think they are sexy?! God I love aviators and own several pairs of them myself. And when I see pretty boys wear em… well I just want to pounce on them on the spot without a second thought.

في أثناء التحضيرات لتسجيله الوشيك للخدمة العسكرية، أعلن الممثل Joo Ji hoon بأنه سيغلق صفحته الشخصية على الإنترنت و نادي معجبيه الرسمي.

الممثل يعيش في عزلة في بيته منذ أن أكمل الـ120 ساعة من الخدمة الإجتماعية الصادرة من المحكمة في أغسطس. هذا عقب الإتهام الذي وُجه إليه في شهر مايو بتعاطيه المخدرات في شهر أبريل. و قد أُعطي حكماً بالسجن مع وقف التنفيذ لمدة ستة أشهر في إنتطار سنة واحدة من الإختبار ( بمعنى أنه إذا أنهى الإختبار بنجاح, عقوبة السجن يمكن محوها). وقد واجهت الممثلة Yoon Seol hee عقوبة أقسى لتهريبها حبوب الهلوسة و الكيتامين إلى كوريا من اليابان، كما فعل عارض الأزياء Yeh Hak young من تمويل لهذه العمليات.

ووفقاً لوكالة Yeoubeak الفنية، أن صفحته الشخصية ستغلق في الواحد من شهر ديسمبر. وبالرغم من أنه كان سيسجّل في الخدمة العسكرية نهاية هذه السنة، إلاّ أنه إلى الآن لم يُقررّ.

Joo Ji-hoon (Antique, 2008) is going to shut down his homepage at the end of the year, and then go off to the military.

Last April, the 27 year old actor was indicted for drug use. After pleading guilty to drug use, in June, he was sentenced to six months of jail with one year of probation (a suspended sentence) and 120 hours of community service, plus a penalty of 360,000 won ($310). Joo Ji-hoon completed his community service last August, and now he is preparing to enter his mandatory 2-year military service.

Because of his age (27), he is set to join the ranks next year, but it may be delayed. However, his official website will officially shut down on December 1st.

Last September, Joo Ji-hoon posted a message to his fans on his homepage:

It’s been really long since I last saw everyone. I am feeling emotional now, very sorry and pained all this time. The most important thing is that I miss everyone and feel sorry…

I have received all your emails and letters, and I will hold onto them. I’m trying to live my life to the fullest everyday, so please don’t worry about me…

“Everyone can see how bad I was in my moment of foolishness. I promise that I will not repeat the same mistake again so that everyone can see a better Joo Ji-hoon.

In preparation for his impending army enlistment, actor Joo Ji-hoon has announced that he is shutting down his homepage and refunding members of his official fan club for the remainder of time covered under their club dues.

The “Goong” and “Antique Bakery” actor has been living in seclusion at home ever since completing his court-ordered 120 hours of community service in August. This follows the May indictment he faced after being charged for drug use in April. He was given a suspended sentence of six months of jail time pending one year of probation (meaning, if he completes probation successfully, the jail time would be erased). Actress Yoon Seol-hee faced stiffer punishment for smuggling ecstasy and ketamine into the country from Japan, as did model Yeh Hak-young for financing the operations.

According to Joo Ji-hoon’s management, Yeoubeak Entertainment, his homepage will be shut down on December 1. Although he had thought to enlist by the end of the year, he has not yet received his papers so the date isn’t finalized. Apparently there is a waiting list for enlistees, with 1981-ers being processed first as this is their last year to enlist. Joo, born in 1982, technically must enlist by the end of next year, so he may be pushed back and find his enlistment scheduled for January.

Before the scandal broke, Joo was preparing his next acting project, but his future career prospects remain hazy at the moment. Through his homepage, Joo wrote to fans, “With my mistake, I hurt others and left without being able to show a proud and upright image. Rather than showing you my back, I promise that someday I will face you straightforwardly.”

The Guys before Super Junior

Before Super Junior, I was in love to different other guys… On the first or second year of my high school, I got hooked up for the Taiwanese F4 leader Dao Ming Si (Jerry Yan) from the TV series “Meteor Garden”…

Months after it ended, other dramas coming from neighboring countries paved their way to Philippines and caught a lot of Filipino viewers and fans including me…

And to make my quick love stories short, I was once in love to those guys I never met… Men I can only see from TV screens. And in no particular order, I will name some of them… There’s Bryan/Zuo Yi Quan (Wu Chun)of “Hana Kimi”,

another Brian/Jiang Meng (Mike He) from “Devil Beside You/ E Mo Zai Shen Bian”,

Michael Jiang/Jiang Zhi Shu (Joe Cheng) from series “It started with a Kiss” and “They Kissed again”,

Prince Gian/Lee Shin (Joo Ji Hoon) and Troy/Lee Yul (Kim Jeong Hoon) of “Princess Hours/ Goong” and still a lot of them…

I would usually imagine that I’m playing a role on that particular drama’s, replacing the lead actresses and have the entire scene in favor of mine (a way to satisfy my WHOLESOME fantasies)…

But being in loved with them also created that sudden fright of something… It’s the lost of feelings… It’s like a ghost that keeps on haunting whenever I get myself crazy to guys like them… It’s bothering me, especially now that I’m not only in love with one person but there are thirteen of them… I’m in love with Super Junior that I’m afraid that if time passes again, that love might fade away…

That’s my motivation why I want to keep on writing about them… A reason to always be updated… The rationale for sharing my life to others circling around those boys…. Because if there’s one thing I didn’t do during my past “affairs”, it’s the thing I’m doing right now…

I haven’t proven anything to them yet but at least I know where to start and how to keep it going…

Hoy es el aniversario de bodas de Mo-rae y Sang-in. Después de una mañana ocupada preparandose para la celebración, Mo-rae va a una galería de arte a encontrar un regalo para Sang-in. En la galería, se encuentra con un completo extraño y sucede algo que ninguno imagina.
