It wouldn’t be an election without some colorful characters.  Over the course of the last 2 months we have examined the major candidates who are hoping to replace the late Senator Edward Kennedy and represent Massachusetts in the Senate.  However, we haven’t had the chance to meet some of the other folks who want to have their voices heard.  That is, until now.  Enjoy!  Some have run for office before.  Some are serious about winning.  Some have an issue they are hoping to bring more attention to.  Some are just crazy.  But all are worth knowing about.

Who is your favorite?  For me, I think it has to be the woman who claims to be the illegitimate child of Kathleen Kennedy and King George VI.

I should note that not all of these candidates collected enough signatures by the 11/24 deadline.  But I just couldn’t let a silly thing like ballot eligibility keep me from introducing you to these fine folks.

I was previously impressed with Jerry M. Goff, Jr.’s Thrill Crazy and Wanton Wench! and continue to be so with Tropic of Carla.  I have been amassing all his other books for future reading.

His novels aren’t perfect by any means, and have any number of flaws that many books like these do, but there is a certain assured quality of story-telling, mixed with good manly two-fisted hardboiled-ness typical of Merit/Novel Books, that tickle my noir funny bones.

Wanton Wench! was about a sea diving bum getting into some trouble because of a rich woman; Tropic of Carla is about a pilot bum getting into trouble because of a rich woman, Carla Lopez.  The narrator, Dino Shawn, muses on it:

I had been in boxes before, but never like this.  And all because of a beautiful woman with a fantastic figure.   But what the hell? I thought. Life without beautiful women and fabulous builds wouldn’t be worth living. I had no other choice but to do General Lopez’ bidding. (p. 81)

Dino had been forced to fly a fighter plane for a small banana republic dictatrorship, a fictional Latin American country, Tammara…

One day in an airport bar in San Antonio, Texas, 37-year-old Dino is having a few drinks and lamenting that there are no character flights for his small plane so he can make money.  In walks this Latina vixen, Carla, looking for a pilot.  She has found Dino.

Carla lives for the kicks and thrills — driving fast, jumping out of planes and not pulling her chute until 800 feet from the ground.  She is also a hellcat in bed, where se takes Dino only an hour after meeting him.  Dino is too pussy-struck to figure out he’s being played.

Flying to Houston to pick up a charter, Carla pulls out a .45 and tells Dino they are flying to Tammara instead.  She tells him she is married to the country’s dictator, General Jose Lopez, and they need a third pilot with air force training to fly a fighter/bomber plane, refurbished from the American Air Force.  The other two pilots are her and the General.  They intend to quash the growing rebel faction that are set on a coup by bombing the hell out of them.

Dino bas no other choice. Plus he’s being offered good money.  But he knows he will not leave Tammara alive, they’ll kill him when the job is done.

The General provides a palace “dancer,” Mena, to occupy his bed at night, forbidding anymore hanky-panky between his wife and Dino, even though the marriage is for show only — Carla is like Evita of Argentina: the people religiously love her, except for the rebels.  But Mena is a girl from the hills, with rebel contacts; she gives Dino information and plans to help him escape and plot the murder of the General and Carla, even if it means her own death — all for the cause of democracy!

A good adventure yarn, like a low-budget action flick for a once-famous flopped actor, say a younger Rutger Hower or Don Johnson.

Not a perfect book, and not as good as Wanton Wench!, but a fun read, an a good example of Merit’s list and Goff’s range.  Just as Wanton Wench! had deep details about sea diving, Tropic of Carla has the same details about parachuting and flying small planes, so much so that Goff must have been a pilot and diver, or knew them well enough.  The devil is in the details, they say, and makes these “sleaze” action books all the more…authentic, if that’s the right word. You buy into the situation, even if it is outlandishly illogical.

But anything can happen in the sleazecore universe…

I’m curious, now, about the more explicit novels Goff wrote for Neva/Playtime as “Jerry Lane.”  I have one: Call Box.

To avoid having legos seep into every corner of our house, we have a rule that Collin has to keep them up in his room. On a day we make “Lego Day” he’s able to bring them downstairs and create with Mom and Dad.  Yesterday, Collin made a bunch of his complicated, master-designed ships.  I made a funky fresh abstract Christmas tree (that funky fresh was for you, Jamie) made from all white Legos.  It was a little….well… weird.  Collin wanted to be sure that his cousins were able to see his cool ship.  So, hey kids!  Come take a look!

Good times, Good times.  Any day with Legos is a good day in our house.

Where is Datu Andal Ampatuan, Jr., scion of the warlord clan of Maguindanao, now being fingered as one of the authors of this most horrible carnage in that province where command votes for past, an future elections in Muslim Mindanao are determined?

Make no bones about it, the Ampatauans, politically-aligned in the Arroyo administration during this past decade of its controversial incumbency,  are the area’s feared ‘’sovereigns’ for all intents and purposes, and any who dare challenge their stranglehold on power risk  life and limb.

So it is that this was manifested in so grissly a manner when, according to the Mangudadatu family, a delegation of theirs intending to file the gubernatorial candidacy of elder kin Ismael was waylaid with the entire group of more than 40 (including journalists covering their trip) being slaughtered.

This must surely be the most heinous ever incident of its kind in Philippine history.

I still cannot fully comprehend what God-less urges drove the killers, as I realize that no matter what we will be told about government resolve to give justice to the victims, the town of Ampatuan, Maguindanao now stands as this generation’s blood-drenched Killing Field.

So we ask, yet again, where is Datu Andal Ampatuan, Jr.?

2nd Update:

The Arroyo administration, buffeted by cries for justice from journalist organizations and the public,scurried Tuesday to prevent the Maguindanao crisis from spinning out of control by dispatching top aides to Maguindanao.

Malacanang took pains to clarify that even the victimized Mangudadatu clan was also politically close to Pres. Gloria Arroyo like the accused side of the Ampatuads.

What has shocked everyone is how the murders were down in wholesale fashion with even a government-owned construction back hoe used to push and bury the dead into a crudely-du roadside mass grave – a killing field that just today yielded two dozen more dead, raising the the death toll to nearly 50.

Arroyo even invoked the Philippine Constitution’s ‘commander-in-chief-provision’ allowing her to place a limited part of the Philippines, in this case the Maguindanao-Sultaan Kudarat provinces under emergency rule, carrying with it it the power “to call out troops to quell lawless violence and suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus.

Malacanang says it will definitely have suspects in hand 48 hours, acutely aware that Maguindanao could descend into tit-for-tat reprisal killings if public disquiet is not calmed.

The Inquirer is now reporting this Saturday, Nov. 28:

The grassy hill of Barangay Salman in nearby Ampatuan town continued to give up corpses.

A total of 64 cadavers have been retrieved since Monday’s mass murder, which was allegedly carried out by a group headed by Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., a ranking police officer said yesterday.

Chief Insp. Roger Zagales, of the police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Central Mindanao, who was helping in the gathering of evidence, did not say when the additional bodies were dug up.

Additional reports are saying that apart from atu Unsay town mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr, 8 other members of his politically-powerful clan are being put on a hold departure as affidavits from nearly 20 witnesses have also linked them to tht gruesome Nov. 23 massacre.

The earlier reported 7 murder charder beng considered against Ampatuan may reportedly not be filed until Tuesday, December 2, when state prosecutors are expected to complete their legal paperwork and bring thecases before the local court i Cotabato City.

Andal Ampatuan Jr.  continues to insist on his innocence while the justice department says several ‘eyewitnesses’ accounts have placed him at the scene of the crime.

Not sure what the name of the disease is, but the symptoms are uncontrollable jerking arm movements. I think it’s called supercrossiphoneitisness. I think its contagious, I saw Raymond doing the same thing just minutes after this incident.

On World AIDS Day, December 1st, there will be a Candlelight Vigil in the Community Garden on E. 103rd and Park Avenue where there will be music, spoken word, and acknowledgements of those impacted by HIV/AIDS in East Harlem. Immediately after the vigil is the annual Viva El Barrio community celebration at Julia de Burgos Cultural Center where there be music, dance performances, food, and good times!

On December 2 in the East Harlem Café (E.104th and Lex) there will be a provocative dialogue on HIV/AIDS education in NYC Public Schools, so please come by for a good cup of café and good conversation!

The last event is on December 3 where the medical students have organized a panel discussion to expose and build the capacity of their medical student peers about the state of HIV/AIDS in NYC.

Success is such a fleeting concept. What it means to me, sounds foreign to my neighbor. And what my friend considers success, I might classify as torture!

Houses, addresses, cars, vacations, salaries, collections, hobbies, activities, and name brands.  Why do we consider these to be benchmarks of success and self-importance?

Is it wise to base our value on these “things” that evaporate when Wall Street hiccups?

What about time with family and service to others and a sincere appreciation for the life you live and the gifts you have been given? Why do we tend to overlook their worth and importance?

“A wise person understands that his own happiness must include the happiness of others” [Dennis Weaver]. So, if you find yourself unhappy or unsettled or feeling hopeless and unwanted, my advice would not be to go check your bank account, or look at your car, or spend time with your trophy collection.

I would suggest you take stock of the last time you truly helped someone else. You made a personal connection, offered a kind word, extended a helping hand, freely gave of your time and expertise. Poured into the life of another.

These are the investments that are guaranteed to yield high dividends.

As Leo Buscaglia said,

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Don’t overlook the small acts of kindness.  Especially this week, as we turn our thoughts toward home and family. Set aside unrealistic expectations. Celebrate the moment. Enjoy time with your loved ones. Strive for kindness in your actions, attitude, and conversation. How beautiful is service to humanity that begins at home — at our home — toward those we know the best.

Whatever you are, be a kind one!

It was a bit wet and attendance was low but it was still a good day for the stalwarts who were able to brave it. With only 12 playing  a team challenge was thrown down with best 3 from 4 scores counting for £5 in the pot which was won by Terry, Mike Battle, JR and Phil Burrows with 116 points.

So another season comes to a close and we thank this year’s Captain Jerry for his monthly speech which was given in unison by all members this month – only joking Jerry!  All that remains is the Annual General Meeting and this date will be published on the site once it is arranged.

Today I was wanting to write about Thailand and how similar this land is to us. As my good friend and BKK travel partner puts it, it’s like our parallel universe. Their narrow roads are just like ours (Libertad, Pasay!) – minus the unruly drivers and honking cars. I must say they’ve gone ahead of us in terms of well-planned public transport systems.  Therefore Bangkok, even if it looks much like Manila – has tolerable traffic and courteous cab drivers. I like them.

Much ado about that. This morning I’m choosing not to rant about what we lack here in the Philippines and decided to focus on some Pinoy pride (good news at last!).

Our kababayan, Efren Penaflorida won CNN Hero of the Year! Yey! *dances* I’m doubly-proud because he hails from where we live, the province of Cavite. Watch the full video of his awarding here: Efren Peñaflorida wins CNN Hero of the Year 2009

Efren “Kuya Ef” Peñaflorida is a teacher and social worker in the Philippines. He has been named “CNN Hero of the Year” in 2009 for his outstanding advocacy to educate Filipino out-of-school youth through “pushcart classes. “Peñaflorida grew up in Cavite City. During his early days in school, he experienced being harassed and threatened by gangs near their school. Despite this, he still managed to finish his studies.

His growing concern for the unschooled children in his hometown led Peñaflorida to establish Dynamic Teen Company (DTC). At that time, he was only sixteen. He envisioned this organization as a tool to reach the underserved Filipino youth by providing free tutorials. He asked three fellow high school students to devote some of their time to teach children in the slum areas every Saturday.

After ten years, DTC has gained around 10,000 memberships and conducted tutorials for approximately 1,500 children.Today, DTC’s “pushcart classroom” also teaches basic reading and writing to street children.

It feels good to read about something we can be proud of as a Filipino. Now we know that anyone can be a hero – regardless if you have little or plenty, if you live in a third-world country or otherwise. There is a hero in each one of us waiting to be tapped for service.

I think we should be noticing these things more deliberately instead of some lousy Pacman scandal.

The KKK is sure doing a lot of protesting and marching this past week.

 For a racist organization who routinely mocks the marches,protest, and boycotts organized by the Reverend Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton that they pattern after the Civil Rights protest organized by the late Rev.Martin Luther King,Jr. , they sure are acting a lot like the legendary iconic African-American freedom fighters, with all of their marching and protesting this week.

The protest staged by Dr. King  proved to be  effective in defeating the Klan in the 60’s.

The Klan,just this past week, held two days worth of rallies in Kennett,Missouri in protest of the Heather Ellis versus Wal-Mart case.

…and on Saturday they held a rally outside the Ole Miss vs. LSU game in protest of Ole Miss dropping  the lyrics and fight song ”Dixie”  from being chanted at their games.

Chancellor Dan Jones had ordered students to stop chanting the homage to the states racist past. After they continued chanting, he ordered the song From Dixie with Love to cease being played.

The Ku Klux Klan came out to rally in lieu of the chant “The South Will Rise Again.”

The medley, combining “Dixie” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” was often followed by shouts of “The South shall rise again.”…reports the UPI.

Charise Van Horn of the Examiner.com reports…Chancellor Jones sent an address to the student body of the University of Mississippi. It reads, “We cannot even appear to support those outside our community who advocate a revival of segregation. Consequently, I have asked the band not to play ‘From Dixie with Love’ at upcoming athletics events. The counter protesters outnumbered the klan 10-1 on Saturday, and their ranks included faculty,staff,students, citizens, and alumnae.

They all read  the student creed aloud, including a call for belief in “the dignity of each person.”

“Our major concern was to show that this is what we stand for as a university,” said Artair Rogers, the Associated Student Body president.

Ole Miss, fueled by the insults from the klan, defeated the game LSU 25-23 in the historic rivalry.

From the looks of things, the klan needed to be on the sideline helping the LSU coach manage his time a lot better than he did, with those last three plays, as he messed up an easy field goal kick with his loopy clock management and ultra-strange play calling at the end.

I mean,LSU fans…didn’t you expect your team to kick a game winning field goal with that last play, rather than the one they ran to lose the game? …Seemed to me to be a pretty easy play to call, and you would have won that game.

I think, as I have been pondering that play all night,…maybe, just maybe, the LSU coach did not want to actually win the game, as it would have been celebrated as a win for the Klan, instead of what it would have been, just a win against Ole Miss.

Who knows, but that had to be the case, because that call was just as bad as the one coach Bill Belicheck made last week, to lose the game against Indy and Peyton Manning….it had to be something like that!

The Klan will never learn.They always support the losing side, and the failed causes like racism and the defeated and humiliated Confederacy that their ancestors supported with their lives.

Many of their ancestors did foolishly in their futile attempt to preserve slavery here in America, and if the scorched earth of General Sherman’s march did not convince them, them they all are truly ignorant and insane.

I watched this game between these two great institutions that at one time denied black players a chance to compete on their teams,…but all that is in the past.

Someone needs to let the klan know that.

The Grand Dragon of the Klan Shane Tate stated that …”We aren’t coming there to cause problems or cause trouble. Trouble has already been caused by a handful at Ole Miss, including the black student body president, who wants to shape Ole Miss into yet another liberal sodomite college.”

What is a sodomite college…together these words mean nothing!…I find this statement to be whimsical and nonsensical, much like gibberish.

Gibberish sounds like a fair  description of the Klan.

RE: REQUEST TO BE AN EXPERT GOVERNMENT WITNESS REGARDING THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE INSPECTOR GENERAL, ARMY AND FBI’S MODUS OPERANDI TO POSSIBLY COVER UP CERTAIN EVENTS LEADING UP TO THE FORT HOOD MASSACRE

Dear Ms. Nardi-Riddle:

Senator Lieberman seems to have it right when he indicates that the Fort Hood massacre was an act of terrorism. Consistent with the Senator Lieberman’s request for accountability; I would like to be a relevant government witness for the Senator’s hearings set for the week of November 16, 2009, concerning the Fort Hood massacre.

My name is Douglas Kinan. I am an Officer of the Court – an Assistant Deputy Register with the Massachusetts Trial Court. I am also a former employee of the Department of Defense.

As a Viet Nam Era Veteran, a taxpayer and a former employee of the Defense Contract Management Agency (“DCMA”) with first hand knowledge of how the Department of Defense Inspector General’s (“DoDIG”) manipulates investigations and covers up high crime and corruption in government, I can provide expert testimony showing a nexus to the Fort Hood massacre and the DoDIG’s direct role in covering up and/or ignoring reports, incidents and episodes, which would have prevented the senseless murders of innocent victims. The families of these victims deserve better treatment than what the DoDIG offers.

I believe my direct and independent knowledge gives me standing to be an expert government witness concerning the DoDIG’s role in the Fort Hood Massacre. Some of the same players who covered up and participated in heinous and egregious government crime and manipulated investigations over the past ten years are some of the same players that may be connected or may influence the outcome of the Fort Hood “investigation.”

Some current officials are: Hotline Director Leonard C. Trahan (DoDIG), L. Jerry Hansen (Army), James L. Pavlik (DoDIG), John R. Crane (DoDIG), and Uldric Fiore, Jr. (Army). Former DoD supervisor and convicted felon, Richard T. Race (DoDIG), supervised some of these same individuals who were complicit with serious crime. Recent retiree, Deputy IG, Thomas Gimble (DoDIG) was also involved in the cover-ups.

I shall provide expert testimony and government evidence to prove that signs were not “missed” as some have reported. Malfeasance, misfeasance and nonfeasance by these same individuals are a pattern that is repeated over and over again. These few officials are experts at changing the subject 2

and shifting the focus with false denials, perjured affidavits/declarations and other deceptions, as they have done in key investigations for years. One peripheral case that comes to mind is the changing stories and false official statements in the Patrick Tillman story.

Based on past practice, I shall provide expert testimony and evidence to prove that there is little or no chance that the Fort Hood crime victims will receive a fair, impartial or objective investigation and that a cover up by the DoDIG and Army is more likely than not.

I shall provide expert testimony that key players in the chain of command, controlling the outcome of the investigation are experts at creating facts, manipulating and slanting investigations with false official statements, false denials and silence. Their method of investigating each other with the intent of finding no wrongdoing is standard operating procedure and ensures that government crime and corruption promoted by the DoDIG’s office shall continue.

I shall provide expert testimony that the FBI and the DOJ has had knowledge of the verified criminal activity by several members of the DoDIG’s chain of command for many years and did nothing, which allowed and encouraged the crime and corruption to continue.

One of the strong-arm tactics to silence me is outlined in the attached email from U.S. Marshall, Frank Dawson who visited me at my job in the Suffolk County Courthouse on March 25, 2009, in an attempt to threaten me into silence. The DOJ is working so hard not to admit the obvious and to prevent me from being a government witness in any forum, by any means necessary.

I shall testify that U.S. Marshal Dawson threatened to place me in a national database as a “stalker” if I continued to report public corruption to the Assistant United States Attorney and Public Corruption Officer, Brian Kelly. Dawson said that my lawfully required reporting was “against the law” and that Kelly said it was “bothersome.” It should be noted that Public Corruption Officer, Brian Kelley and Supervisory FBI Agent John T. Foley, working together, have ignored the verified criminal activity outlined in my 30-page affidavit. Foley thought the DCMA frame-ups were amusing.

I shall provide a list of those innocent individuals who were framed with the participation and cooperation of a few individuals within the DoDIG’s office and the DOJ coupled with a list of the individuals who received promotions for providing false and/or tainted testimony. It should be noted that witnesses who provided false and or tainted testimony were “fast-tracked” to receive one, two, three and four grade promotions and remain on the favored list for future promotions because they have been identified as “team-players.”

PARTIAL BACKGROUND

As a former DoD employee with direct knowledge of the extensive criminal activity, including the frame up of innocent employees, I requested an investigation by DoDIG Hotline Director, Leonard Trahan, Jr., concerning the Defense Contract Management Agency, Chief Counsel, Bruce Krasker and his former Deputy Jerome C. Brennan’s insistence on framing innocent employees and other verified criminal activity, using millions of tax dollars to do it. Thus, I have first hand experience on how investigations by a few key individuals are manipulated to achieve “their” desired results.

A November 9, 2009, FBI Press Release states that the “FBI continues to work closely with the Department of the Army [and the DoDIG] in the joint, ongoing investigation into the tragic events that occurred at Fort Hood.” Consistent with the honesty, integrity, transparency and accountability needed by the Joint Terrorism Task Force (“JTTF”) in the Fort Hood massacre, consider the following: 3

One high level Senator’s Chief of Staff has described the DoDIG’s office as being “dysfunctional.” and wrote, “The main problem is management level mismanagement. The 18 SES persons in charge of that office are the big problem. Most are not suited for those positions. Most do not believe in the IG mission. We are working some issues. We have made some headway. We have had some setbacks. It’s like mission impossible. The easy way out is to give up. Quit. But I won’t do that. But don’t expect miracles or quick solutions. Heddell is ok so far. But he may suddenly leave with the upheaval in politics and go back to Labor IG. And then we are back to square one with Gimble or worse.”

According to a Department of Interior, Office of the Inspector General, Report of Investigation dated June 5, 2008, which I received, via FOIA, on December 30, 2008, the Director of the Defense Hotline for fraud, waste and abuse, Leonard C. Trahan, Jr., his supervisor, Assistant Inspector General, Investigative Policy and Oversight, James L. Pavlik, former Assistant Inspector General for Inspections and Policy, L. Jerry Hansen, former Chief Assistant Inspector General and a member of President Bush’s Council on Integrity and Efficiency, Richard T. Race, former IG, General Counsel, Uldric Fiore, Jr., and former Inspector General Joseph E. Schmitz acted in concert to cover up several fraud, waste and abuse investigations within the Rumsfeld Pentagon.

In a letter dated August 3, 2006, the President’s Integrity Committee established that there was “clear evidence” that Schmitz and others in his chain of command lied to Senator Grassley and “allowed a press release to be issued that contained false information.”

In his December 7, 1998 Memorandum to Lt. Colonel Citizen, Trahan entered false statements into the record to cover up the frame-up of two innocent DCMA employees, promotion fixing, well planned discrimination, heinous and violent acts against women and other public corruption. Trahan also lied in his June 28, 2006 sworn statement to National Security Agency Investigator W. Rod Biggs. In that same sworn statement, Trahan characterized DCMAE whistleblower and senior engineer Kenneth Pedeleose, who saved the DoD $34 million, as being “disloyal.”

In Pavlik’s undated “Executive Summary,” transmitting a fraudulent report to Senator Grassley on April 26, 2006, Pavlik lied. Trahan and Pavlik’s willingness to knowingly enter false statements into the government record to cover up DoD violations and manipulate investigations remains unchecked.

Trahan and Pavlik’s cover up concerning the DCMA’s promotion fixing, which the DCMAE ethics attorney characterized as “criminal,” ripples across the entire government and diminishes and discounts the merit-based promotion policy promised to all employees.

As to their character, on February 19, 2008, Richard T. Race pleaded guilty in Judge Brinkema’s court to “fraudulent banking transactions” and was allowed to “voluntarily retire,” Uldric Fiore, Jr. was removed for his participation in the retaliatory frame-up of DCMA whistleblower and senior engineer, Kenneth Pedeleose, for lying to Senator Grassley, the Secretary of Defense and everyone else and he went to work for Judge Advocate General, Lt. General Scott C. Black, L. Jerry Hansen was removed and he, too, went to work for Army. It should be emphasized that Pedeleose saved the DoD/government $34 million and in March 2008, his peers voted Pedeleose “Employee of the Year – 2007,” yet his deliberate and retaliatory frame up is currently on appeal. 4

Based on a proven track record for complicity with high crime in government, will the Fort Hood victims’ families be relieved by knowing who the key players are and how this investigation may play out?

Could the DoDIG have prevented these murders? I say yes. Here’s why: Concerning the frame-ups, Krasker boasted: “We (the Legal Directorate) can do anything we want. It’s called gaming. We can deny, we can delay…dismiss. We can manipulate the system any way we want.” Krasker can make this boast because he knew he would have cover from the DoDIG’s office and the Department of Justice. Trahan ignored the DCMA’s crime pattern and rationalized the frame ups this way: “There were two EEO cases in the District in which Mr. Kinan disagreed with the decisions made by [the Equal Employment Manager] and the [DCMDE Chief Counsel.] Instead of accepting those decisions “as reasonable people can disagree”, they became a ‘cause celebre’ for Mr. Kinan.” What “reasonable” person believes that framing an innocent person is okay? Trahan, a “retired Army CID agent” with approximately 40 years experience, should know that framing two innocent people is not “two EEO cases” – it’s framing two innocent people. It’s a felony. Trahan stood by while two innocent individuals anguished for 50 – 60 months and allowed them to be stripped of their career and full pension. The most recent frame up, using the same M.O., is that of Kenneth Pedeleose.

Pedeleose is a senior industrial engineer with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMAE) who objected to, and blew the whistle on the Lockheed C-5 parts scandal: $744.00 for washers, $714.00 for a rivet, $5,217 for a 1-inch metal bracket and $2,522 for a 4-inch metal sleeve. According to a Federal Times April 5, 2004 story, Pedeleose’s whistle blowing “resulted in government savings of $34 million according to the [Department of Defense] estimates.” Pedeleose’s exemplary government service also earned him a bull’s eye on his back by the DCMA’s Chief Counsel, Bruce Krasker, who orchestrated many retaliatory frame-ups, with the cooperation of the DOJ. In a June 28, 2006 sworn interview with the NSA, Trahan describes Pedeleose this way: “disruptive, disloyal and counterproductive.” Trahan’s false statements to this investigator suggest that he is at the front of Pedeleose’s retaliation. Trahan has repeatedly demonstrated that he is impervious to DoD rules and regulations and the law. Trahan and others in the DoDIG chain of command are a danger to the government, yet they remain in high paying jobs to facilitate criminal activity, which affects all Americans. In a conflict of interest, Trahan’s counterpart, the AIG for Policy and Oversight, James L. Pavlik, covered up for Trahan by conducting a fraudulent investigation, making false official statements and issuing a fraudulent report to deceive Senator Grassley. After he reviewed my 30-page affidavit, Pavlik writes: “We found that Mr. Kinan has repeatedly distorted the factual record by asserting only some of the relevant facts in order to convince others that he was wronged by the system.” Incidentally, the FBI and the DOJ have verified the criminal conduct outlined in my 30-page affidavit. My affidavit was concealed with a government payoff, which allows the crime to continue. 5

As for the DOJ’s thought on my reporting, AUSA Christine Wichers of the Boston United States Attorney’s office characterizes my lawful reporting of crime, public corruption and verified felony conduct as being “irrelevant, repetitive, conclusory, inflammatory, prolix, disjointed, unintelligible, impenetrable, swollen with irrelevant rhetorical flourishes, muddled, personal and vindictive.” Although they are remarkable and dramatic descriptions of the verified facts, that office has not denied or disputed the DCMA’s pattern and practice of crime and the irreparable harm to many innocent individuals and the government.

I respectfully, remind the Senator that anyone willing to frame innocent citizens will do or say anything, even cover up the Hasan massacre.

The Senator should know that the Defense Criminal Investigation Agency, the FBI and the DOJ have established my credibility at 100%.

Please view the verified facts in their proper context concerning these serious matters. I emphasize, this is about conduct only. My 30-page affidavit can be emailed to you immediately on request.

Please let me know of the Senator’s decision concerning my reasonable, lawful and relevant request.
