Listening to The Reckoning by 30 Seconds to Mars.  I personally can’t stand Jared Leto, even though I do like the band.  He was fine when almost no one knew who he was.  Now, he’s a prick.  Rates up there with Megan Fox imo.  I’ll stop now, don’t need to waste my energy on a vapid vacuum.  Hmm, Vapid Vacuum…that’s good.  I do love my alliteration.

It’s a well known fact that boots = sex.  Ask any man alive and he’ll probably confirm this.  These thigh high boots from J’s are sex times 10.  They come in three heights, this is the highest, but they’re all rather daring.  And, of course, it comes in a long list of colors as well as two separate fat packs.  So if you’re looking to spice up a short skirt or dress, I would say these are the boots for you.  Or you can be really daring and wear them naked.  Something I might do later.

So I’m still going through my stuff from the black 50L Friday.  I have to say, I’m very impressed with how well it turned out.  Too bad I’ve been too busy/sick to look through it until now.  I’m loving this Pididdle leotard.  Simple, yet deadly.  And the tat from Plastik is honestly one of my new favorite tats.  I had a friend in college, liked to travel.  The last year I was there she came back from Phuket with two half-sleeves of Buddhist Sutras hand chiseled into her flesh.  Obviously, it was the most painful experience in her life up to that point.  However, she recalled it as her most rewarding and disciplined moment.  Ever since then, I’ve had somewhat of an obsession with the more “archaic” methods of tattooing.  So, of course, with that rustic look to it, this tattoo appeals to me.

It’s that time of year when comfy, cozy warm clothing trumps just about anything. The rainy, gloomy outdoor weather out my window has me reaching for warmth in RL and in SL. Today I went with the lovely corduroy skirt from Sn@tch and a sweater from Naima.

The Ella Stockings from League are definitely an SL best buy considering how often I wear them. Another great purchase that will get lots of wear are J’s Engineer Boots. Oddly enough, in the fashion bloggers group the other night, someone asked everyone to name the must-have shoes in SL and someone named these shoes – and I happened to be wearing them at the time. I chimed in with that comment which was met with a resounding “See! I told you!”

I went very retro with this shag hair cut from Tami McCoy. The necklace is from SLink and the earrings from Muse.They are from the Kailena set which is either the second or third  jewelry set I bought in SL.

I couldn’t believe how many people were directed to my site by searching for Honda, S2000 and Wide Body. So I thought I would post these awesome pictures by RKT Vision of the J’s Racing S2000 AP1.

This car has gone through many evolutions but I think it will always be remembered by its incredible pace at Hot Version’s Touge Battle. Proving that high powered turbo engines are not necessary.

J’s Racing have built a few different versions of this car for Circuit racing and Time Attack/Touge, this one is now owned by N1 Concepts.
It was bought and imported to America after J’s Racing decided to build a wide body version of the demo car. From what I can gather, this is the last evolution of the Touge car which competed in HV’s Touge Battles.

The F22C has a 2.3l stroker kit, ITBs with a custom intake plenum.
4.4 Final Drive, 1.5 Way LSD, J’s Racing N1 ECU… and so on.
Pretty much everything is made by J’s Racing.
The engine produces around 320hp and weighs roughly 1230kg.

I love J’s Racing’s aero designs, this is true inspiration. I hope to be able to transfer the same aggressiveness to my next project car. It’s all about the high rear bumper.

Up for grabs here is a very tasty Ibanez JS100. You find this guitar in the lovely Transparent Red finish. It’s in good shape – plays really well and sounds lush! You’ve got the fantastic Edge III tremolo system for all of those dive-bombs and artificial harmonic squeals, and also Joe’s name inlaid into the fretboard at the 21st fret.

Mr. Satriani is well known for his fantastic tone, and also the versatility of the instrument he’s designed that we’re discussing now. A core part of the flexibility of this instrument is in the ‘push-pull’ tone control. This opens you up to a range of single coil type sounds not unlike the configuration on a telecaster. That’s right, not only can you get searing lead lines, but glorious twang too!

In my view this guitar is an excellent buy, and great value for money – you’ll get a lot of mileage out this guitar! £399 is the price…let us know where we need to send it!

J’s Thigh High Boots are one of those can’t live without releases that just explode across the grid and everyone has them, wears them and looks rocking hot in them. Now, am not long enough in-world to actually remember the era when system boots were de riguer, but I have seen a few people call these old-school boots and if by old-school they mean high boots that fit, don’t bork when you walk and look hotter than cobra chili, well, give me old school. With it, I wore the lovely skirt and jacket from Doux Petit Dahl with a gorgeous mustard colored skirt that is made for fall. The off the shoulder jacket is delectable, though it did present some challenges in finding something to wear under it. Yes, I know, I could have worn nothing under it if I were not me.

Under the jacket, I wore a corset from Ornamental Life – a store that has closed as its designer Shir Dryke has left SL. The phenomenal jewelry is from Dark Mouse. Honestly, Mouse Mimistrobell has gone too far. She sent out November jewelry releases that included too many sets that are too good so I spent 30 or more minutes dithering, trying to decide what to wear. I wanted to wear them all. I certainly will wear them all in coming weeks, but someone has to talk to Mouse about going too far overboard creating too much that is too good so that we are paralyzed with indecision. I think you might doubt me, but you cannot doubt your eyes. Take a look at Lizzie’s Breasts and Baubles post and you will understand what I mean when I say creativity overdose.

Seriously, these boots are rocking hot. That luscious hair is Darla, by the way, a romantic curly mop of hair from Alli & Ali – found thanks to Gogo. I love riotous curls that don’t go digging into my torso.

Hmmm, does skin get better than this?

Not long ago I posted this entry, describing methods of protecting your email address to spam bots and promoting the method that I had proposed. Well now there has been an exciting update! We have joined with our partners RPM-Productions to bring you hosting for your Email2Pic image, providing a quick, easy and permanent location to host your image.

So now we have updated the results page and you are presented with some information, at the bottom you will notice a new button that says ‘Sent to RPM ImgDep’. This will upload the image to RPM-Productions servers so your image can be hosted for use on forums, blogs, emails etc.

Once the button has been clicked, instantaneously you shall receive a hyperlink to your image. The image’s non-descript filename gives no clue to the text contained in the image and is highly unlikely to ever be read by spambots. Below is a sample…

I love this sweater. I have one like it in RL and it’s so warm and cozy. It’s my go-to-sweater for those fall events when the weather is just cool enough to need something, but not cold enough for a coat. It’s thick enough that I can wear it in the Oregon rain without getting wet. You don’t get wet when it rains all day and accumulates 2/hundredths of an inch, so it keeps me warm, dry and cozy. Now I have the perfect sweater for visiting those misty, rainy sims.

League Garage Jeans and J's Ankle Boots complete the relaxed casual mood of the outfit.

Here you can see how great the collar is. The 200 Peso choker from Steinwerk is an old favorites. The lovely short crop is from Mirai Style.

Houndstooth has always been a classic pattern for fashion. Combine that with expert tailoring and feminine touches like a full skirt and a tint of pink, and you have a fantastic look for a pretty fashionista.

Shiryu Musashi enters the Winter market with this cute houndstooth coat with belted full skirt. In signature Musashi-Do style, all the textures are hand drawn and he combines sculpted prims in the collar and cuffs and regular flexi prims in the skirt. This skillful mix of prim types without overuse makes the outfit very wearable and versatile. I am very excited to Shiryu’s new sim, Eleganza, is open (in the interests of full disclosure: named by yours truly)!

This skin by Torie Senne is her newest entry to the market. Fresh and sophisticated with its combination of photosourced and hand-drawn elements, it makes me feel very haute and hot all at once. Her skins are very photographable and subtly colored. Aemilia Case seems to be the underdog of hair in SL—her hair is universally cute, well constructed, beautifully colored and innovative. This style, with its flipped ends, is casual but smart.

Finally, I show boots from JB Gazov (still not-so-secretly one of my favorite shoe makers in SL). With their subtle sheen and sinuous curves, his boots make any lady look and feel sexy.

موالى كل الجديد فى عالم النت

This is the third in a series of posts about some new releases from Blowpop that I’m really loving. In addition to the cute triangle bra & boyshort sets, and the three goddesses set, we’re treated to lots of colorful camis.  The Blue Roses cami made for a great casual top, and I cruised around the grid in this outfit for a couple of days.

I’d say that 99.9% of the time, I’m not at all fond of wearing t-shirts in SL that feature a store logo and I know from previous discussions on Plurk that I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’m more than happy to make an exception for these tops from Blowpop, though! The Sailor Jerry styled artwork is beautiful and displays Blowpop’s (slightly naughty sounding!) catchphrase, “Lick, Don’t Bite”.

Also worn is LAQ’s Jewel skin, a fairly recent addition to the Glow Skins collection.  Jewel is quite stunning, and is available in darker skintones (you can see more of the tones and makeups below).  I seem to gravitate toward boots a lot in SL; maybe this is because I never get to wear them in RL?  I live in Hawaii and the only time you ever really need to wear boots here is when you’re doing yardwork or gardening, lol.  But anyway, I was long overdue for some updated cowboy boots and I finally recently splurged on J’s Western Boots.  Finishing off the look is my favorite new hair, a sculpted dreadlocks style from booN.  booN has a whole bunch of dreadlocks that look incredible and I’m hoping that the selection will grow in the future.

As with the three goddesses tops, the Blue Roses camis are available in both long and short lengths as well as on a variety of clothing layers to maximize your mix and match potential.  They’ve been made in a bunch of colors, and they go perfect with the lowrise boyshort undies.  I think it’s the perfect combination for chilling out in your skybox with your closest friends. 

Accompanying the release of the Blue Roses camis are the Rampant camis, which feature a gold lion rampant……. licking a lollipop!  Haha.  I’m curious to see the Blowpop coat of arms.    These, too, are available in a bunch of colors:
