The newest exhibition at View @ Harvey’s Cellars is Jubilee Art, celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The exhibition opens on the evening of the 31st of May.

When Anita (my London agent) and I got our heads together about Diamond Jubilee artwork we came up with lots of ideas that would be colourful and royal – after months of sketching and mocking-up ideas we are proud to present our “Jubilee Patriots”.

This playful and patriotic collection of four features a lion, elephant, puffin and bunny looking cool and regal each in their own crown and jubilee neckerchief!

We also wanted to feature London to celebrate all that the capital is hosting this year including the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

After much brain-storming we came up with the idea of a London skyline which I painted in a watercolour silhouette. All we needed then was a final flourish and Anita came through for us with the Love London idea using a heart. Using complementary watercolour letters and heart we had it all wrapped up.

The collection is exclusively available through The Little Picture Company. Artwork is created one at a time by me using 100% eco cotton rag paper by Epson. Its 330gsm textured surface is stunning and shows off the brushwork and paint effects to a tee.
