Ever since I moved to Mumbai. I haved lived in Lokhandwala (until I moved to South Mumbai last year). Yes I know the place inside out (Lokhandwala). The shops, the boutiques. The new ones, the old ones, the “just arrived” ones. I always keep track! Well, you cant help it. It is the most happening shopping place in the city. Or so I would think. And when its Diwali time, the place is something else! It is like a new bride decorated to a tee, looking ravishing, glowing in all its glory! The Lokhandwala Vyapari Mandal ensures that the entire street is glittering with a string of lights that begins at the entrance of the market and ends at the famous Lokhandwala Garden. Now to update you a little, there are a host of new establishments you can head to if you are in the mood to shop!  New stores for bags, shoes and of course clothes galore. Naksh, the Jaipur shop, Firangi market are a few names that come to mind. What do you get here? What are the best deals? What the big steals? I will fill you in with all the gyan. But what’s more! I enjoyed my Diwali lights yesterady at Lokhandwala. It felt like Diwali there. It felt like home. It felt beautiful!

The colors of the fall season are  here and autumn is in full swing!  It will not be long before the season changes to winter and the terracotta tones, the browns, the rusts, the twigs and the amber colors are all gone for 2009… Enjoy them while they are here!

This year year’s favorite fall accent color? Green.  The above photos were provided to a client for an autumnal photo shoot and we are  sharing them with you too… Enjoy the season, get out, go to the country, see the leaves change color, find a hay ride somewhere, pick a pumpkin, be a kid again and enjoy all that the season has to offer.

Project Runway host and Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum welcomed her fourth child, third with husband Seal. Lou Sulola Samuel was born late last week. Klum took on Seal’s last name, Samuel, a week before giving birth. Lou joins sister Leni, 5, and brothers Henry, 4, and Johan, 3. 

Congrats!!!!

Autumn has just arrived and now I get to see one of my favorite things of a calm morning on the water; a leaf gently touching down.

Yes, this is the first time that I’m here.
Oh, my flight was boring. The old man close to me slept for all the time, and his noise done with his nose, just came to my ear as an old wind of the Est, with breathlessness.
The airport must be really close to the town, that’s what I know. My baggagges are here…so, I can go.
I need to arrive in Nokinawa Street. This Midtown has stranges names for the streets. There are places where the names are in japanese, other where the name are in german, in english, in egyptian…they told me that all of this places has the same typical architecture of this country. Anyway I just learned english, I hope that in Nokinawa street they will understand me.

The taxi-man fortunally speak english.
“Eh guy, where you need to go?”
“Nokinawa street, 85/67″
“Ok guy”
He keep on the radio. There is a swing song that I like. Looking through the not really clean window I see buildings of different kind. One is very hight, more than others that I’ve never seen before. If I ever had had a God, I would have confided to him my surprise. Anyway I just say: “Ohhh”.
The taxi-man, with is taxi-man eyes, look at me through is wing mirror. It seems a man that needs to say something but he is not sure that it’s something to say to anyone. I look at him, and then I look at the street.
It’s a large and busy street, there are a lot of shops on both side. A wine-tasting shop named “E-notek: one hour of internet connection tasting a good wine”. A shop named “The Henry Tales: we create tales for you, your friends and family”. There is so much traffic that I can look very well at that shop, that’s on the left side of the street, the same part where the taxi runs. Inside the Henry Tales there is a man with a long beard, a pair of sunglasses. He must be Henry. He is reading a newspaper. The shop have a light-green wall paper with some strange pictures…they must be elefants. Or I don’t know, maybe thery are brains. Ok, between a brain and an elefant there’s a lot of difference, but not in that wallpaper, not from my taxi.
I’ve not my glasses now, sorry.
The car leave, and during the movement I can see that on this light-green wallpaper there are pictured animals of the savannah. I think he made a good choise, a better one then brains images as a decoration.
The shops here are really strange, everyone has a name and a subtitles. Ah, yes, this is the english side of MidTown, and…
“Sorry guy, I don’t want to seems intrusive, but…are you a guy?”
“No, I’m a raven. “
“Ah ok. That’s it.”
“A young raven. You can say “ray” “
The traffic seems to finish and then the street belog to us more fast.

Congratulations to Lance Armstrong and Anna Hansen on the birth of son Max last Thursday.  Using social network site Twitter, Armstrong tweeted the announcement of the birth of his fourth child – “Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My Mommy is healthy and so am I!”

Soon after the first Twitter post, Armstrong posted a second message thanking the medical team who helped deliver his new son, saying they were “amazing”. The newborn, named Max, came into the world weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
