photo blogSejak dulu punya HP, gunta-ganti pasti seputaran merek sony ericsson dan nokia, walaupun sempet berkhianat sedikit ke merek siemens, motorola, dan skrg yg flexi malah pake samsung. Dulu aku pernah punya Sony Ericsson K800i, waktu itu memang sudah ada fasilitas untuk kirim foto ke blog (khususnya blogger.com), walau belum terintegrasi menunya…tapi membuatku bertanya-tanya bagaimana cara menggunakan “mobile blogging” ini atau “photo blogging” ini atau buat “photo blog” ini ..pusing banyak istilahnya..

Nah..sekarang lewat Sony Ericsson-ku yang baru G700, menu “Blog This” menjadi semakin mudah diakses. Tinggal jepret fotonya bisa di mana pun kapan pun (bahkan didalem WC sekalipun..hi..hi..hi), pilih menu Option -> Send -> Blog, masuk ke bagian Editing Mini Blog-nya, kasih deskripsi sedikit, kasih judul, langsung pilih Publish…tunggu bentar barang beberapa saat, langsung nanti ada konfirmasi untuk mengunjungi blog yang telah ter-update. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama jaringan GPRS/3G-nya terkoneksi, hanya terpotong pulsa IM3-ku kurang dari Rp. 100,- (masih mahalan SMS-an antar operator…)…dan foto-fotoku langsung bisa dilihat oleh “DUNIA”…ha..ha

Emang sih, pada saat awal-awal, ada sedikit prosedur tambahan yang harus dilakukan terlebih dahulu. Pada saat kita pilih Publish, dalam beberapa saat kita akan menerima konfirmasi layanan dari Blogger.com, kemudian diikuti dengan diterimanya SMS dari Blogger.com (waw..keren, di header SMS-nya tertulis “Blogger”, baru kali ini dapet sms kayak gitu). Dalam SMS itu berisi konfirmasi bahwa photo blog kita telah ditempatkan di alamat khusus beserta ID dan Password yang telah disediakan secara acak (random) oleh Blogger.com

Setelah mendapatkan SMS..langsung deh menuju TKP…tapi masih ada sedikit tambahan prosedur. Karena sebenarnya aku telah punya blog aktif di blogger.com, maka..aku ingin donk..agar foto-foto itu bisa langsung di-upload ke dalam blogger-ku aja, jangan alamat blog lain yang gak jelas. Nah..didasbor blog tersebut kita bisa memilih fasilitas untuk memindahkan posting2x kita ke alamat blog yang kita inginkan, misalnya dari http://rwe245343w.blogspot.com ke http://120679.blogspot.com

Walau proses pemindahan memakan waktu lama…tapi akhirnya selesai juga, nah terlihat di dasbor di blogku, disitu terlihat jelas tampilan di kiri bawah, bahwa Sony Ericsson G700-ku dikenali Blogger.com, bahkan tipe G700-nya pun langsung dikenal.

Mungkin ini manfaat tambahan sekaligus hiburan yang aku dapatkan dengan memiliki Sony Ericsson yang bekerja sama khusus dengan Blogger.com, namun sayang..andaikan Sony Ericsson mau bekerja sama juga dengan web blog-web blog yang lain, misalnya seperti WordPress.com-ku ini. (riokur12)

Sony Ericsson (SE) W950i adalah gadget yang paling saya andalkan saat ini, walaupun tanpa kamera tambahan (…saya tidak terlalu membutuhkan kamera), namun fitur-fitur yang disediakan di ponsel ini termasuk canggih, terdepan dan lengkap (minus kamera) setara dengan ponsel-ponsel kelas atas lainnya. Já estamos no próximo post. E desta vez um relato de como foi resolvido meu damn fuckin’ problem com o celular. Depois de aproximadamente dois meses com um aparelho emprestado e levando olés da assistência técnica finalmente, em 17 de julho, retirei meu aparelho. Bem, não exatamente meu aparelho, mas outro novo. E mais: outro modelo. eu tinha um K550i e foi substituido por um W580i. Não acho tão ruim, só sinto falta da luz de foto que, em momentos de necessidade transformava-se numa lanterna. Mas de qualquer forma, tenho o aparelho que seria minha próxima opção, um aparelho slide. É bonitinho, embora eu não escolheria a cor branca, mas justamente por isso eu gostei: a surpresa, a inovação direcionada a mim mesmo.

Bom, pra encerrar, este celular sobreviveu à prova das 12 horas (diferente do anterior) e estou me acostumando a ele. Prometo que se ele continuar funcionando como o anterior (que durou um ano), não mais postarei falando mal da Sony-Ericsson – da qual virei fã não só por causa das trocas, mas porque a interface e a velocidade são incríveis.

Desta vez não é uma reclamação. A assistência da Sony-Ericsson me enviou, por SEDEX, um aparelho novinho. Zerado. Brand new. Chegou em casa no prazo mais ou menos estipulado, masa cara!!! Novinho!!! O meu antigo tinha um ano de vida e já tinha caída, estava ralado, gasto.

Por algumas horas me deu vontade de ligar pros caras e agradecer e parabenizar pelo atendimento ‘five stars’.

Porém depois de 12 horas, o aparelho morreu. Não ligava nem a pau. Liguei de novo e expliquei o novo problema. Me instruíram a levá-lo a outro endereço, já que o anterior estava ‘inoperante’.

My pablo (Bluetooth profile name ) is dead. The phone which was with me for past two years or more that that is no more. And it is dead with out a reason. In computers there is BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) my mobile has suffered WSOD (White screen of Death). I tried all possible ways to rescue it, but it choose a silent death and when I try to raise it from death it just shows a white screen. Even the service provider has said the phone is gone.

Anyways my Sony Ericsson charger, walkman headphone, USB cable, the bst 33 baterry and back cover are on sale. any genuiene buyer out there?

Hoje venho aqui revoltado dizer que não sou mais um cliente Sony Ericsson.

em alguns post abaixo eu contei a vocês uma viagem que fiz pra Boiçucanga, viagem essa que foi registrada pela lente do meu k550i da Sony Ericsson, telefone muito bom que registrou vários bons momentos vividos por mim. mas o que não tinha comentado com vocês no post da viagem foi um pequeno acidente que aconteceu com meu telefone.

Na noite de sábado, eu e minha namorada fomos dar um passeio pela cidade pra conhecermos a noite de Boiçucanga, foi um passeio agradável onde tiramos varias fotos com meu aparelho. Foram mais de 50 fotos algumas com flash outras sem, gravamos alguns vídeos, enfim o telefone era um elemento importante na viagem, ele deu um toque especial ao passeio. Ai voltamos pro camping onde estávamos hospedados. Eu, ainda dando uma ultima olhada nas fotos que tinha tirado durante o passeio quando fui dar uma mijada e o mais provável aconteceu,me atrapalhei todo com os dois aparelhos na mão ai claro o que não estava preso ao meu corpo caiu dentro da privada (eca) eu mais que de pressa retirei o telefone de dentro da privada e corri pra pia pra lava-lo (quanta burrice) antes de deixar cair água no aparelho me lembrei de que se tratava de um eletrônico e que água não combina muito bem com esse tipo de aparelho. Peguei cuidadosamente uma toalha e sequei porcamente meu telefone. O coitado começou a piscar as lusinhas se despedindo de mim como aquele robozinho do R2 do Star Wars fiquei muito puto.

 Tudo bem, a viagem tinha perdido um integrante importante, integrante esse que deu um brilho especial a viagem, pois pegamos à estrada de moto ouvindo musica pelos fones de ouvido do aparelho, musicas selecionadas próprias pra longas viagens na estrada, (lagrimas) ele foi um bom companheiro de viagem. pra minha surpresa, no outro dia de manhã quando eu tentei liga-lo ele deu sinal de vida mas a lente dele estava toda embaçada as fotos saiam horríveis mas desmontei ele todo e deixei ele “respirar” e só o liguei de novo na segunda-feira e ele estava todo todo novamente, mas só o fone não funcionava eu tinha que atender minhas chamadas ou pelo fone de ouvido ou pelo viva-voz ai resolvi manda-lo pra assistência da Sony  me deram um prazo de 20 dias pra devolve-lo, mas em 4 dias me mandaram de volta com os seguintes dizeres: ” O aparelho em referencia foi submetido à analise técnica e foram constatadas: presença de umidade, produto oxidado. de acordo com o termo de garantia, excluem-se da garantia produtos que apresente sinal de quedas exposição á umidade excessiva, á ação a agentes da natureza ou imersão do produto em meios líquidos. O aparelho esta sendo liberado nas mesma condições .”

Em outras palavras: A GARANTIA NÃO COBRE B-U-R-R-I-C-E.

Mas era mentira deles, pois o aparelho voltou totalmente morto, não funciona mais de jeito nenhum já carreguei a bateria já fiz respiração boca a boca já fiz massagem cardíaca e nada o coitado não reage esta lá com o olhar de peixe morto olhando pra mim com aqueles olhos sem vida, apático e por esse motivo que venho dizer que sinto saudades do meu k550i mas estou migrando pra uma outra marca, quem sabe uma que cubra eventuais cagadas como a descrita acima.

If you are planning to buy a new mobile phone, brace up to pay more. A 15 per cent rise in the dollar against the rupee has hit cellphone makers badly.

All major cellphone makers are evaluating a 7-10 per cent price increase if the dollar appreciates further. About 100-million cellphones are likely to be sold this year compared to about 70 million last year.

The rupee hit a two-year low at Rs 46.60 against the dollar on Tuesday, forcing cellphone makers into meetings. “We are evaluating the situation. The appreciation in the dollar against the rupee has made all the components costly. The industry will have to take a decision on price revision upwards it if it goes towards Rs 50 against the dollar,” says Samsung Mobile country head Sunil Dutt. A price increase may hurt the sales of top-end models most as handset makers may not increase prices of low-end models too much, the latter being a price-sensitive market. Laptop vendors, on the other hand, may not follow up with a price hike as they revised prices upwards by 10-13 per cent in May this year, owing to dollar appreciation.

Cellphone business, however, works on thin margins and companies are waiting for each other to take the first step.

“Though everybody is hurt, price increase has to be an industry-wide move. We cannot increase our prices on a standalone basis. The dollar has moved from Rs 39.4 (in January) to Rs 46.60 now and experts are saying that it will touch Rs 50 soon.

If that happens, there will be no choice, but to hike the prices as we have been absorbing the prices all this while,” says Spice Mobile CEO Kunal Ahooja.

Nokia, the largest handset player, declined to comment. On an average, cellphone prices have been falling in the last three years by almost 4-5 per cent every three months. The average price of a handset in India is about Rs 4,000. If the rupee falls further, this might be the first price revision upwards in many quarters.

While some cellphone makers are asking for an industry meeting, the Indian Cellular Association (ICA) has declined to call such a meeting as it may result in cartel formation. “The industry association will not call any meeting as this will oppose the idea of free and open competition,” says ICA president Pankaj Mohindroo.

“The dollar has been fluctuating in the last 12 months. We are evaluating it closely and are hopeful that it may depreciate, preventing a price rise,” says Ericsson India GM Sudhin Mathur.

First of I would like to say that, here I am sharing my experience, and if anything goes wrong do not blame me!

And this post is to say a many thanks to Akshayy, whose tutorial has helped me to make my Sony Ericsson K550i Cybershot to W610i Walkman mobile. Now my mobile is Cybershot-Walkman mobile, which has the walkman capabilities and supports Flash. Just checkout youtube you may find a lot of videos where people are showing off their cool K550i@W610i mobile.

I did do the flashing long ago, following Akshay’s Tutorial in ThinkDigit, when I found that a lot can be done on my phone, I can change the acoustic drivers, the camera drivers, etc. But at that time I was able to flash the main firmware but flashing FS provided in thinkdigit gave me problem. The terms I am putting here can only be understood if you go through the tutorial.

Anyways this time I was successfull, I have updated my mobile with W610i Firmware and FS. My mobile has some cool Flash Menus, Flash Wallpapers and Walkman capabilities. Check out Akshayy’s site, I guess you will get anything related to flashing.

Note: One thing you will lose by flashing K550i to W610i, all the data, application and games will get deleted, so backup your phone, also camera won’t start when you open the shutter, however it starts from the phone menu. Also your warrenty may become void if you change the firmware.

Yahuuu,,,, SE K550i now on hand, bisa foto2 lagi nih dari HandPhone. Hasil kameranya lumayan bagus, secara k550i sudah mengadopsi teknologi nya Cyber-Shot milik Sony Camera Digital. Untuk review nya, menyusul nanti deh klo mood nulis nya, Hehehe

Pois é, foi com muito pesar que recebi a notícia da morte de meu antigo celular um C650 da Motorola, deixei o coitado carregando por uma noite e quando voltei o encontrei lá, já desfalecido… Mas bola pra frente, já que eu precisava de um aparelho novo resolvi dar uma pesquisada e me interesei por alguns modelos da Sony, principalmente pelo motivo de estes utilizarem câmeras da linha Cybershot, pois minha intenção era conseguir um celular com um preço razoável e uma câmera que valesse a pena. Não gosto muito da idéia de ter de ficar carregando uma câmera digital comigo para poder registrar alguma coisa. Acontece que quando você encontra algo que gostaria de fotogravar ou gravar um vídeo ela nunca está à mão. Por isso um celular com câmera é mais vatajoso. Alguns modelos parecem câmeras com a função de celular e não o contrário. Mas o que me agradou mais foi o K550i da SonyEricsson por seu custo/benefício.

Análise

Já que um fator importante era a câmera, a dela é uma cybershot de 2.0 Megapixels. Uma qualidade suficiente para o que eu desejava, mas acabei me decepcionando um pouco, logo explico porque. Ela possuí dois leds com função de flash para fotografias e filmagens em locais de baixa luminosidade. Ao contrário dos flashs convencionais estes ficam ligados constantemente (lógico, quando você está no modo de câmera e com a opção flash light ativada) e no momento da fotografia eles se intensificam um pouco mais. Isso ajuda quando você está se posicionando para tirar a fotografia mas é meio desconfortável pois a pessoa fotografada fica com toda aquela luz no rosto. E depois de algum tempo isso começa a incomodar.

Ele também vem acompanhado de um cartão de memória de 128 Mb, apesar de encontrar várias referências na internet dizendo que ele acompanha um cartão de 64 Mb o meu pelo menos veio com um maior. Voltando a falar da câmera, Falando de Trivialidades, a maquinazinha conta com um esquema legal de trava da tampa trazeira. Todo mundo sabe que a grande vantagem de aparelhos com chip é o fato de você poder trocar seu chip de aparelho duante uma emergência por exemplo, mas alguns modelos não facilitam muito esta tarefa. Meu antigo C650 que o diga, era preciso uma certa habilidade para poder abri-lo e retirar o cartãozinho. Já o K550i tem um sistema de travas que mantém a tampa firme e ao mesmo tempo fácil de ser retirada.

O som é outro fator importante. O aparelho, apesar de não ser da família Wallkman, se mostra bastante competente. Há botões nas laterais para acesso fácil a funções como Play/Stop e controle de Volume. Os fones que acompanham o celular são bastante confortáveis e possuem um som de qualidade. O som do próprio aparelho também não decepciona, mas ainda não é perfeito.

Mas e ai? Se você está lendo este post deve estar se perguntando. Vale a Pena? É um celular bom? A resposta é sim. Analisando o custo benefício achei uma máquina boa. Seu preço atualmente gira em torno de R$600,00. Mas você pode encontrá-lo mais em conta em sites como Mercado Livre. O que deixou mais a desejar foi mesmo a câmera. Apesar de boa, fotografias em locais de pouca luminosidade ainda ficam um pouco ruins com um certo ruído. Os vídeos também possuem alguns problemas com quadriculamento. Mas nada extremamente grave. Apenas esperava mais por se tratar de uma CyberShot.

Uma opção interesante mas que ainda não testei foi a substituição do firmware do aparelho pelo software do modelo W610i. Isso traz opções novas, como os menus dinâmicos em Flash, mais bonitos e funcionais. Há também opções de drivers alternativos para a câmera e som que podem torna-los ainda melhores. O Blog K550i & W610i possuí mais informações de como personalizar o aparelho.

Se você está procurando um bom celular com funções legais de câmera e som a um preço razoável, o K550i pode ser uma boa alternativa.

I have been wanting to buy a good phone for a while now and chances are I will get some money in a few days form now. I have been trying to choose a good mobile at a decent rate. Anything between 7000 and 10,000 rupees would be alright. I would prefer Nokia, but Sony Ericsson is also acceptable. (No Korean Phones though )

A very very good phone with good features and a mini USB port. Initially it cost about 12k. Today its available for less than 7k. Anything the trouble ?  2MP camera. Also, amazingly slim. Doesn’t have IR though. (Not that it is required)

Looks like there was a reason this phone’s price has been dropping. As Hari pointed out, the battery life is really bad. and I also heard that the phone gets heated pretty quickly.

This is my personal choice. But, I don’t know if I will have 10k with me for sure. This has got stunning features for the price you pay. A 3.2 MP camera which works really well. (Vibushan has this btw)
