Kapitel 1 – Die Qualen im Studio (Seite 2)

Puh, fast alle Outlines in der Schule nachgezogen *drop*. Ich wusste auch gar nicht, dass man Hintergrüne so toll mit Wasserfarben gestalten kann^^
Das erste Kapitel wäre mit dieser Seite schon beendet, das nächste wird etwas mehr den Hintergrund der beiden Charaktere Love und Keiko beleuchten. Wahrscheinlich fass ich wieder alles in 2 Seiten zusammen. Voraussichtlich werd ich Donnerstag mit der nächsten Seite fertig.

Außerdem versuche ich meine Zeichnerischen Fähigkeiten wieder zu verbessern wofür ich Schule eine etwas geringere Priorität geben werde (zumindest Nachmittags). Dann kann ich den Nachmittag dazu nutzen, meine Charaktere zu üben. Die habens wirklich nötig. Ich glaube die einzige, die ich halbwegs drauf habe ist Keiko. Love (das bin ja ich) krieg ich nie zweimal hin. (hey, ich hab sie noch nie richtig gezeichnet, bisher war sie ja immer die Witzfigur xD)

Ich fühl mich grad so richtig Süchtig nach Zeichnen. Es macht wieder Spaß, ich erziehle Ergebnisse, mit denen ich zufrieden bin. Mein Leben hat wieder einen Sinn!! (oooh, xD Overacting…)

1) Keiko
Die Druckqualität lässt zu wünschen übrig aber das Bild mag ich total^^ Das ist einfach ihr Blick! Deswegen mag ich den Charakter so^^

2) Das ist Meg
und ich hab sie gestern erfunden, in meinem Zeichenwahn xD
In anderen Geschichten sollen Meg und Keiko befreundet sein. Die beiden ticken ähnlich, beschäftigen sich auch gerne mit Kunst. Wobei ich das Gefühl habe, dass Meg ein größeres Spektrum bedient wärend Keiko sich auf Zeichnen und Geschichten beschränkt. Meg ist innovativ und kreativer, aber auch sehr fingerfertig – ein wahres Talent. Sie arbeitet auch gern mit Ton, frisiert etc.. jetzt fällt mir erst auf, dass ich sie sehr nach meiner Cousine geschaffen hab, weil ich zu ihr ein ähnliches Verhältnis hab. Meg hilft Keiko immer wieder, bei ihren Geschichten weiterzukommen. Sie ist aber weniger abgehoben als Keiko. Ich mag Meg einfach total, sie hat wirklich Stil^^
Ich frage mich nur, wie ich Meg in meine Parodie “Die Leiden eines Mangaka” rein tun soll…
Achso, Meg hat auch ne kleine Schwester. Sie heißt Lina und ein richtig knuddeliges Mädchen. Sie sieht Meg als ihr großes Vorbild ist aber sehr naiv und ihr eigentlich von Stil her gar nicht ähnlich… Naja, ich mag sie eigentlich wirklich gut und bin gespannt, was in Zukunft aus ihr wird.

3)Queen and Vampire
Ich hab mir so einen abgelacht als ich dieses Bild gezeichnet habe. Im Hintergrund dachte ich mir eine Situation der anderen Geschichte, in der Keiko und Meg zusammen auf Halloween rumlaufen. Ich sag doch, die sind beide verrückt (nur ist Keiko die schizophren-größenwahnsinnige Wissenschaftlerin und Meg die leicht abgedrehte Künstlerin). Ich könnte mir gut vorstellen, dass die beiden nachts dann so rumwandern und aus langeweile Süßigkeiten einsammeln. Am nächsten Tag sind die aber doch so nett und verteilen die den Kindern.
Ja, Meg ist wohl nur leicht abgedreht, das Kostüm passt zu Halloween. Aber sie hat einen Faible für lange Umhänge und Vampire^^ Sie würde sogar unter Umständen Tags damit rumlaufen xD. Keiko zieht sich… wieder so unpassend an und steht dazu. Sie wird auch immer “die Imperatorin” genannt und da dachte sie, könnte sie sich ganz elegant anziehen. Übrigens war das auch meine Denkweise, denn eben das Kleid hab ich selbst zu Halloween angezogen.^^

4) Kakashi-sensei
Das war ein Auftrag von einer Freundin, der Kriegsministerin, in meinem Imperium. Ist aber nur abgezeichnet. Bin trotzdem sehr stolz auf das Bild und würde es am liebsten behalten. Ich mag Kakashi irgendwie, er ist das einzig gute an Naruto xD
(mensch, fang ich jetzt wieder mit sowas an??? — seht euch die Liste meiner Obsessions an und findet einen Zusammenhang heraus. Tipp: Jahre — )

You have GOT to be kidding me! Are you telling me Masashi Kishimoto took an entire week off from the manga just to return with THIS!? First of all he completely forgoes the much-anticipated Kisame vs Killerbee fight (opting instead for a paltry, unsatisfying teaser on the first page wherein Kisame raises his sword to a BEAR!). Immediately following that disappointment is a quick check in with everyone’s favourite runaway Hokage, Danzou. Zetsu corpses abound as the Konoha cowards think of the best manner in which to deal with their Mist nin pursuer (who, incidentally, seems to get his hair cut at the same place Kisame does). Our valiant Kirigakure warrior, while hot on their trail, falls victim to one of Danzou’s escort’s traps in a matter of seconds however and is easily neutralized.

Is it just me, or does Torune remind you of Bato from GitS? O_O

At this point I simply had to ask myself just WHAT THE HELL did he have the Byakugan for anyway!? Don’t worry about all the Main and Branch family Curse Seal stuff Hyuga clan, apparently people are just far too STUPID to use your eyes properly anyway! >:-O. So now that that loose plot thread has been tied up, the manga then cuts abruptly to the Hokage conference where they spend a couple of pages trying to decide on a leader for the ‘New World shinobi Alliance’, ultimately settling on the Zetsu-choking, Hole-in-wall punching, Super Saiyan transforming, wrestling move doing, Sasuke-owning  Raikage because he’s the only man badass enough to lead a clip that rolls that deep. Of course who really wants to say ‘no’ to a man willing to cut off his own arm just to win a fight? I don’t want to get a Raiger Bomb, do you!? THEN ELECT THAT MOTHERF*CKA!!! Fitting indeed that a black man should lead the ‘NW(s)A’ desho?

Ten pages in-though really nine and a half but hey who’s counting….BESIDES EVERY FLICKING FAN WONDERING JUST WHAT THE HELL IS SUPPOSED TO FILL UP THE REMAINING PAGES!!-and we get right to the meat and potatoes of this week’s manga. This is what Kishimoto’s extra 7-day hiatus was all about. This is what he needed time off to get brewing in that magical little plot pot of his. This is what the fans waited an entire agonizing manga-less week to see!!!!………

That’s right, though the title of this week’s update should have totally given it away (to be quite honest I didn’t read it, so you can imagine my surprise), Sakura organized an entire team of Konoha shinobi to enter into the harsh territory of the land of Iron to tell Naruto that she  “loves (him)” -_-…….

If the whole 'touching moment in the snow' thing seems familiar it's because it's been done A BAJILLION times in Kanon, Clannad, Little Busters and just about every single romantic visual novel in existence >:-0

Seriously!!?? You know, when she first mentioned having to talk to Naruto about two weeks back I was kind of expecting the exact opposite. I was hoping for a tearful Sakura telling Naruto how terrible she was for making suffer so much pain and emotional torment for an unrequited love. How selfish she was to make him promise to retrieve the object of her affections, his rival, for her because she herself was too weak. I thought she would fall to her knees and beg forgiveness for the senseless act of placing the burden of protecting the friendship of team 7 squarely on his shoulders. Heck, I was expecting her to just plain get a boot to the head for no apparent reason; that would have been fine with me. But no, she comes with this bogus “confession” straight out of the blue in a feeble attempt to get Naruto off of his path to destruction. Now, I will say that I understand her reasons for doing what she did, surely her heart was in the right place but she failed to understand that asking Naruto to “just forget about that promise (they) made” is tantamount to asking him to deny his very beliefs! His credo! His Ninja Way! There is no way an obvious lie like that is going to deter Naruto from his Nindo, added to the fact that he genuinely cared about Sasuke’s well being  even before the issue of bringing him back for Sakura’s sake even became an issue. From the minute I saw those words I realized two things about the current state of the Naruto manga: 1) Sakura obviously has a very clear understanding of the gravity of the current situation and is willing to do what she can to mitigate it by ANY means necessary. 2) Confessions of love in this series hold absolutely no weight whatsoever! That’s the only way Hinata’s long overdue revealing of her feelings can be quelled, suppressed and ignored with such swiftness that one wonders if it ever even happened in the first place! That’s also the only way Kishimoto can get away with using such an important storytelling trope as a decoy; a means of subterfuge! Just another weapon in the ninja arsenal it seems -_-…

Serious Naruto is serious!

Whoo! I almost swooned there for a minute. Is this really the same guy who invented Sexy no Jutsu?

Whether or not Sakura was sincerely lying to herself about her inexplicable feelings for Sasuke or she was just telling a bold faced lie, nobody was having it (heck even Yamato knew something was fishy about it and he’s only been a part of the team since the Time Skip!). I mean, Naruto isn’t the sharpest kunai in the pouch, but even HE can’t be expected to swallow that much tripe. I love the fact that from the very first moment you see his face in the manga his expression transforms subtly from one of mild shock and disbelief to one of calm, yet focused seriousness and stoic understanding. He knows what’s going on; with himself, with Sakura, with the very state of their entire convoluted relationship. He knows, and he’s ready to deal with whatever comes…

P.S. THIS IS WHAT I EXPECT TO HAPPEN WHEN NARUTO GETS BACK TO KONOHA KISHIMOTO!!! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION!!!

Naruto-kun, you never gave me an answer....

A relatively short post today (partially because this chapter was lacking in discussion material but mainly because I’m far more interested in the post for the following chapter XD). So, let’s dispense with this thing quickly desho?

Walk in. Tell a story. Start a war. Leave. Damn, that guy is evil.

Madara leaves the Hokages to ponder his grim ultimatum. After unanimously deciding that they can’t trust Danzou as far as they can throw him-with the exception of the Raikage of course, I imagine he could toss his geriatric ass around as if it were a mere pebble-the council, or rather Gaara, decided to relay the message of the New World Shinobi Alliance to Konoha via “a Konoha shinobi whom [they] trust”. Now, when you mention trustworthy Konoha shinobi, only one name comes to mind; a true warrior of great skill and admirable rank, always consistent, very dutiful and loyal to a fault. You know him, you love him, he’s been there from the very beginning! I’m talking about the one and only………….…UMINO IRUKA!!! XD Nah I’m just kidding, who else but Hatake Kakashi (or as Gaara referred to him: “Sharingan no Kakashi”).

Okay so that’s settled, now, how on earth does one fight against an angry Uchiha with a pet shop of dangerous biju at his command? Well our resident levitating senior citizen the Tsuchikage has an idea I think is most fitting of the crazy warmongering old fart. ‘I reckon we use them there jinchuriki we got and throw ‘em at the bad guys! Yup yup’ bellows the floating geriatric (I’m paraphrasing slightly of course but you get the gist ne?); well the once reticent Gaara once again holds his ground by voicing his refusal of this obviously reckless idea (you know, I am getting to like this guy more and more since the time skip ^.^).

With the approval of all of the other Kages, the Tsuchikage’s philistine plan was easily squelched; all problems taken care of right? WRONG! Timid, Seven Swordsman member Choujuro decides to meekly bring up the issue of one of his fellow members Kisame. Our shark-toothed peach boy proceeds to inform the members of the council of Kisame’s beast-like chakra levels (a fact which the audience has been well aware of for quite some time now) and how preventing him from getting to Killerbee would be their top priority. No problem, they have time right? CHIGAU!!!

Hola a todos de nuevo, el día de hoy les traigo un reportaje que hice acerca de un evento que se realizó ayer aquí en mi ciudad Nuevo Laredo. El evento se trató de un festival de cosplays el mero día de brujas (aprovechando una de las pocas ocasiones en que uno se llega a disfrazar al año).

Lamentablemente me tuve que retirar temprano del evento, así que no ví el plato fuerte del mismo (el desfile de cosplays al frente del público), así que me fuí directamente a cazar cosplays en el lugar (@_@).
Además hubo standings de venta de artículos (llaveros, pulseras, posters, etc.), una sección para leer manga, una sección para jugar Halo 3: ODST o Super Smash Bros. Brawl, etc.

Bicara tentang Hatake Kakashi seperti melihat resemblance of my husband.  He is tall and slim,  so is my husband. He is cool, never in a hurry and down to earth, similar to him. His left eye loaded with mangekyou sharigan, so is my hubby with his left eye (hehe), and he’s kinda pervy for the favourite reading is icha-icha tactics, so does mine with hard disk full of horny-corny awesome collections of X-rated video and images. Hehehe what else I could say.

Pity Kakashi that in both manga and anime he doesn’t have any girlfriends. Because I believe with all the similarities it is going down to one conclusion that he is probably is a good lover in or out of bed. Because mine is also. )

Fuu: (Says something about Zetsu’s jutsu and how it preys on and transfers the vicitm’s chakra to the host)
They/He is liberated from Zetsu’s jutsu too.
Danzou: “So even you didn’t notice it then.”
Torune: “So, what about the guy who has been tailing us for a while now?”
Fuu: “He’s still at it… It’d be good if he fell into [our] trap though.”
Torune: “Your trap is special. It’ll work”
Danzou: “I don’t care if he lives or dies… But take out his right eye.”
Fuu: “Wha-”

Fuu: “…I’m leaving my body to you in sec, Torune.”
Just about then, Ao runs into the trap. A puppet attacks him with a sickle(?)
Ao: “?!”
The sickle are thrown at him, whom catches it and throws it back at the puppet, lodging it into it.
Ao: “A booby trap… This time it must be Danzou’s.”
There’s a note on the puppet’s forehead with the kanji for ‘curse’. The kanji disappears.
Ao: “?!”
Puppet: “What is going on? How can you see my body?!”
Ao: “The mind-puppet switch curse seal technique… That’s the name of this jutsu.”
Puppet: “Damn it! Is this a mind-switch that curses whoever attacks you?!”(Unsure)
The puppet is actually Fuu.
Looks like the mind of the puppet switched places.
Torune: “What do we do after this?”
Torune is carrying Fuu’s human body over his shoulder.
Danzou: “I’ll tell you what my intentions are as soon as Fuu returns to his body.”

Tsuchikage: “It’s because of Danzou’s recommendation that it’s come to this. And then there’s the question of whom we should leave the the high command of the Shinobi alliance to! Is there anyone qualified for the title of ‘Kage’? You were the one who said that the Gokage, including myself, are worthless, Mifune”
Mifune: “I think Raikage-same should be it, though.”
Raikage: “…”
Tsuchikage: “But didn’t you said that he was unsuited since he lets him emotions rule him?”
Mifune: “I have no doubt that now that he knows Hachibi is alive, he’s going be more composed than before. What I said earlier was me jumping to conclusions. Please forgive me. Moreover, everyone worked well together earlier and you made countermeasures quickly. And the key, to control the Bijuu Hachibi; Only Raikage-dono would be able to do that.”
Tsuchikage: “Mizukage, Kazekage, is that fine with you?”
Mizukage: “I can’t agree to it right now, but I have faith in Raikage-sama.”
Gaara: “Let’s leave it to the Raikage”
Raikage: “Oonoki of the Twin Ryou Scales, the only one who has experience fighting Uchiha Madara is you, so your intel will be vital. Cooperate with us.”(Take this line with some salt. I’m a bit unsure about it)
Tsuchikage: “You’re such a guy with a commanding tone.”

Raikage: “I don’t need your faith, though… But at this rate, the Shinobi world itself will disappear. There is no other choice but to leave your own feelings out and cooperate!”
Tsuchikage: “Well, better than losing this war… If the shinobi world were to disappear, then quarreling with you is out of the question… So I’ll cooperate. The Shinobi Alliance is formed!! First we must let the feudal lords know about this.”

Meanwhile
Naruto: “Wha..?! What did you just say, Sakura-chan?! I think I misheard you, say it again.”
Sakura: “As I said, Naruto, I like/love you! Sasuke-kun doesn’t mean anything to me any more! I don’t know why I could love anyone like him… I’m confessing to you here, so listen to me.”
Naruto: “But why…? How come…? If you’re joking, then this isn’t funny at all… Sakura-chan…. Just… What the hell happened[to you]…?”
Sakura: “Nothing, really… I just opened my eyes… I don’t need to love someone who is a missing-nin and a criminal, do I? I’m not going to be a child forever. I’m going to look reality in the eye.”
Sakura: “So, Naruto… I don’t need your promise any more. Won’t you stop chasing Sasuke…?”
Yamato: “What is…”
Kakashi stops him
Naruto: “What happened[to you], Sakura-chan? Why did you so suddenly change your opinion of me…”
Sakura: “I’m telling you, I don’t need it anymore! I’ve fallen in love with you, with all my heart, that’s why.”
Naruto recalls a scene where/when Sakura loved Sasuke.
Sakura hugs Naruto.
Kakashi: “Sakura, are you…”
Sakura: “I’ve just grown apart from Sasuke-kun… But you’ve always been at my side, Naruto. You cheered me on… I’ve realized… how you really are. You’re a hero who protected the village. Everyone in the villages loves you now…. I’ve just become one of them… You were that mischievous dead-last… but little by little you’ve grown lovely and handsome… You were close to me so I saw it. But Sasuke-kun keeps committing crimes… It just breaks my heart… He’s just become someone distant to me.”
Naruto: “…”
Sakura: “But Naruto… When I can touch you like this… I feel at peace… I’m telling you this from the bottom of my heart…”

Naruto: “Cut the bullshit, Sakura-chan… I told you I can’t laugh at a joke like that.”
Sakura: “What’re you angry for…? I’ve just gotten over Sasuke-kun, that’s all. A woman’s heart is a strange thing, isn’t it.”(<— Unsure about this line)
Naruto: “I… I hate people who’d lie to themselves!”The end.

The anniversary party is here today! The colors of the hat is a lavender-ish and blue. I guess that cheat with the newspaper didnt work. And also There is a cannon out front in the town-mouse over it and it will launch fireworks! Okay next thing, There is a present box over by the left of the chat bar. Mouse over one of the boxes until your mouse becomes a hand. It will blast streamers up! To find the party hat you must mouse over the candy horse(sorry I dont know how to spell it) at the coffee shop and it will break open, wha-la! The party hat will fall onto the floor in the bottom right corner.

Naruto Shippuden 2: Bonds is yet another movie based around the Naruto Universe. As most Naruto fans can attest, the release of this movie was highly anticipated for a good year and a half. We are introduced to the Sky Ninjas on an air carrier of sorts, equipped with chakra infused winged devices that were just beautifully animated. Kakashi, Sai and Shikamaru are sent to infiltrate the Sky Ninjas’ base. Meanwhile, Hinata, Sakura and Naruto are sent to help Amaru’s village which were also attacked by the ninjas. So basically your basic plot is to obviously stop these villians.

The ninja attacks, as it turns out, is revenge for the Second Great Ninja War in the past which Konoha destroyed the Sky Country. The movie was by no means bad, but as is with many movie, it didn’t live up to the hype that was provided by the preview. I think the reason this was as much of a disappointment as it was is because the biggest thing fans looked forward to when watching this was seeing Sauske in action with Naruto. The animation and voice acting are your standard Naruto fare; the guaranteed high standard quality.

The music is non-existent. I mean, yes, there are background music, but they are forgettable. The story have a good plot, but not as good as any other Naruto movies. About the time this movie came out, we were starving for a little Sasuke action, and we expected to see it in Bonds. Well, we werent totally disappointed, Sauske definitely was in it, and he did his thing, but he’s in the movie for all of 10 minutes total.

There is plenty of action, so no worries there, and all of your favorite Konoha characters are around for the fun, but its nothing you haven’t seen before. The Sky ninja thing is kinda interesting for all of a few minutes, but they wear out their welcome in the opening sequence of the movie in the long, drawn out attack on Konoha. Anyway, bottom line, this is a pretty decent movie continuing the Nartuo saga and at the very least you will be entertained as there is plenty of goofy Naruto goodness to get you laughing, and enough action to keep you a little hyped.

Naruto had already invade many minds.  Especially kids from 8-15. not just kids love it but theirs a lot of teenagers that already addict to this sires . and i’m one….

…i do love this anime …

Chapter 6: You Can’t Always Get What You Want

Saturday’s child works hard for a living – Sakura/Kakashi

Sakura stood numbly, watching Kakashi, her husband Kakashi walk away from her, unable to believe the conversation they had just had.

She was having a baby. They were having a baby. This was supposed to be the happiest, most exciting moment of her life, their lives. Granted, the timing of this was a little bit of a surprise, they’d only been married a year. But still…a baby!

And yet when she’d told him this morning, at first he hadn’t reacted at all. For a moment she thought he might not have heard her and so she repeated her announcement.

He had responded then, his tone flat, neutral, “I heard you Sakura. When were you planning on telling me?”

She’d been a little bit taken aback, unsure what he meant by that. “Wh-what do you mean?” She had managed to stammer out.

Kakashi had maintained that neutral, controlled tone when he answered her, “I mean, you must have known, or at least suspected for a while now, otherwise, why take a test. So I ask you again, when were you planning on telling me?”

“Kakashi? I didn’t know anything until this morning. Yes, I’m late, but I can’t help but know I’m late before you do, it’s my body in case you haven’t noticed, silly. I’m late, I took a test, and…I’m pregnant. Aren’t you happy?” The question had slipped from her lips thoughtlessly, never expecting his response to be what it was.

“So, how far along are you?”

The lack of response to her question, the lack of an expression of joy or happiness or even any emotion at all had stunned her. “About s-s-six weeks.”

He had nodded then and this time his response had a slight sting of accusation to it, “So you have known for a while. And you’ve decided to tell me.”

She had been numb from that point forward. All she could think of was the question, the stupid question, she had to have an answer to her question. She had repeated it, “Aren’t…aren’t you happy?”

And her husband had sighed, cocked his head to one side and said quite simply, “It would have been nice to have been consulted.” He then shouldered his bag that he had been packing in preparation for his upcoming mission, kissed her on the top of her head and said, “I’ll be out of town for a couple of days. I’ll see you when I get back.”

And here she stood, rooted to her spot, watching him walk away.

This was not how the scenario was supposed to play out.

They were supposed to be happy, overjoyed. He was supposed to sweep her into his arms and … Tears pricked her eyes. This was not how the scenario was supposed to play out.

Fortunately, her day at work wasn’t too difficult. Most of the cases were fairly routine and she went through her tasks automatically. It wasn’t until the staff meeting toward the end of the day that Tsunade called her on it.

“Sakura? Did you hear me?” The blonde woman’s voice was sharp, snapping Sakura out of her own muddled thoughts.

“Um, I’m sorry, shishou, could you repeat the question?” Sakura had blushed and apologized.

Tsunade repeated her question about maintaining adequate chakra circulation to the extremities in the event of frostbite and Sakura had droned out a textbook answer. Tsunade scowled, but grudgingly acknowledged that she was correct. The other meeting attendees looked uncomfortably at one another, it was rarely Sakura who caught Tsunade’s ire.

Tsunade concluded the meeting, dismissing them. “Sakura, stay a minute.”

“Hai, shishou,” she acknowledge, hanging back while the rest of the staff filed past her.

Tsunade sat down at her desk and peered intently at her. Sakura shifted uneasily under her penetrating gaze. Tsunade’s stare could be very hawk-like when it was directed at you and Sakura was uncomfortably aware that she felt very much like a mouse at the moment.

“Sakura, what’s wrong with you? You haven’t been yourself today.”

“I’m sorry, Lady Tsunade, I guess I’m just not feeling well,” Sakura had stuttered, wondering if she should tell her anymore than that.

“Are you sure? It seems more like you’re distracted than ill. Is something bothering you?”

Sakura weighed her options, to tell Tsunade or not to tell her. Shishou was tough, she was stern, it was true, but she could also be understanding. Maybe…

Sakura cleared her throat, “Um…it’s just that …I’m….”

How could it possibly be hard to say this? She was pregnant! Shouldn’t the whole world be happy with her? Wouldn’t Tsuande, of all people, be happy for her? Why was it so hard to say it? Just because Kakashi had been…such a jerk…about it…didn’t mean that shishou would be, too.

Sakura cleared her throat again and finished, “I’m pregnant, shishou.”

Tsunade arched one elegant eyebrow skyward and answered carefully. “You are? I didn’t even know you and Kakashi were trying. Personally I’m surprised that he ever would want…”

If it were possible, Sakura felt Tsunade’s gaze sharpen even more. “You were trying weren’t you? That is, the two of you were trying, intending to have a baby?”

Shifting uneasily on her feet, Sakura found herself unable to achieve more than a whisper, “Well, no, it just …we just…it’s a surprise and … it just kind of happened…” her voice trailed off.

Tsunade pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes, exhaling heavily. She had long suspected that babies were contagious and this just furthered that hypothesis. Silly little kunoichi, she should just round them all up and throw them in prison until they were twenty-five for their own good.

“Sakura, you’re the best medic in Konoha. How is it possible that this ‘just happened?’”

No answer.

Tsunade sighed again, softening just a little, motioning for Sakura to sit down. “Well, when did you find out? What did Kakashi say?”

Sakura was still trying to process the fact that no one in Konoha seemed to be pleased with the fact that she was pregnant. Not Kakashi, not shishou. What was wrong with her? Everyone else was merrily making babies in Konoha. Lee and Tenten, Chouji and Ino, even Shikamaru and Temari seemed happy with their new offspring. And for Shikamaru to seem even remotely happy or interested in anything was saying a lot. What was wrong with her, with Kakashi, with them?

“Th-th-this morning.” She answered as she took a seat in one of the side chairs. “He, um, didn’t say much.”

“Well? What did he say?”

“He, err, said it would have been nice to have been consulted.” Sakura answered bitterly wondering if anyone had ever had such an uncaring, unfeeling response from their husband when told the good news. She looked up at Tsunade with red-rimmed eyes, expecting to find the older woman as shocked and dismayed as she felt right now.

Instead, Tsunade was nodding thoughtfully at her. “Hmmm, yes, well, I suppose he would have liked that. So, had you two talked, at all about this? About starting a family?”

“Well, before we got married, we’d both talked about…maybe having one or two kids…”

Tsunade continued to nod her head thoughtfully, “At some vague, nebulous undefined point in the future, right?”

It was Sakura’s turn to nod.

“Well, how did you expect him to react?”

Sakura somehow managed to get through her expectations and subsequent disappointment without totally breaking down into tears in front of her teacher but she more than made up for it with sniffles and long pauses. Again, when she was finished, she turned her eyes toward shishou expecting sympathy, understanding.

Tsunade was shaking her head gently. She made a small ‘tsk’ of disapproval and asked, “So which is it you want, Sakura, the hearts and flowers or Kakashi’s honesty?”

The question brought Sakura up short. “I…what do you mean, Tsunade-sama?”

“What I mean is, Kakashi gave you a very honest response. He was stunned and he would have liked to have been involved in your decision to have a child.” She raised her hand to cut off Sakura’s sputtered denial. “Don’t pretend with me, Sakura. You know how contraceptives and emergency contraceptives work. I might believe you conceived accidentally, but to wait two weeks after you missed a period? Come on,” and for the first time today it seemed that Tsunade smiled at her, “if you weren’t trying you certainly were at least hoping.”

Sakura blushed and allowed herself her own faint smile. “So, what should I do?”

“I can’t answer that for you. But I can tell you this. Most kunoichi see motherhood as a beginning. Most shinobi see fatherhood as an ending. Not necessarily in a bad way, mind you, but an ending of the life they’ve lived up until then nonetheless. And you have an unfair advantage – it’s your body going through the changes, chemicals, hormones, endorphins, you’re gearing up for this for nine full months – they aren’t, at least not physically. And from their point of view, at the end of that nine months, *wham* here’s a tiny little person that is utterly and completely dependent on them forever. They may be shinobi, but I think it still scares the shit out of them.”

Sakura sighed and repeated without thinking, “So what should I do?”

“Sakura, I just told you I can’t answer that. He said he’d see you in a couple of days, right? When he got back from his mission? Hatake Kakashi is nothing if not honest to a fault. So, you’ll see him in a couple of days, and then you’ll talk to him. After that, it’s up to the both of you. But remember, it’s hard enough for most shinobi. And Hatake isn’t most shinobi. He brings his own baggage to the table.”

“But do you think he’ll be happy?”

“I don’t know, Sakura-chan,” Tsunade said affectionately. “Usually they are, in their own time and in their own way. But sometimes, shinobi just know they aren’t cut out to be a father, or they feel that they have something insurmountable in their past and they just … can’t do it,” she added just a little sadly.

Sakura nodded. “Thank you, Shishou,” she whispered. “I, er, suppose I should be going now.” She sniffled again as she rose from the chair and wiped her face with the back of her hand.

“Sakura?” Tsunade called as she reached the door.

“Yes?”

“How are you feeling? Physically? Any symptoms, yet?”

Sakura smiled. “Okay…I guess.”

Tsunade chuckled, “Yeah, you probably won’t start puking for a couple more weeks. Enjoy it while it lasts.”

Sakura laughed then, just a little and it was still mixed in with a sniffle or two but at least she did laugh. “Thank you, Tsunade-sama.”

“Good luck.”

“Arigato, Tsunade-sama,” Sakura replied, as she left.

She nearly collided with Koharu who was about to knock at the door when Sakura opened it.

“Oh, forgive me, Koharu-sama,” Sakura mumbled as she stood aside to let the older woman pass. Sakura bowed politely to both her and Tsunade as she closed the door behind her.

“Tsunade? Still making the other kunoichi cry I see?” Koharu teased her, her voice graveled with age, about Sakura’s red-rimmed eyes.

“Oh, quit grouching old woman, ” Tsunade laughed back at her companionably. “She’s pregnant.”

“Really?” Koharu’s eyes widened. “Isn’t that Kakashi’s wife? How does Hatake feel about this?”

“Less than thrilled.”

“Hmmm, yes, I imagine he would be.”

“Do you think we could round up all the kunoichi who are under twenty-five…”

“What? And put them into prison for their own good?” Koharu laughed. “I tried to convince Sarutobi that’s what we should do with you.”

Tsunade cast her gaze down and said wistfully, “That was a long time ago.” She sighed and looked up again. “Koharu, please don’t tell anyone about Sakura’s pregnancy, at least not until she and Kakashi work some things out. I shouldn’t even have mentioned it to you.”

Koharu patted her on the knee and said very kindly. “Tsunade-chan. Don’t you know by now your secrets are always safe with me?”

* * *

True to his word, Kakashi returned from his mission two days later. Instead of flinging herself into his arms as she usually did at his returns, she waited shyly, awkwardly for him in the doorway. Their embrace, when they greeted each other alternated somewhere between cool and warm, but certainly not joyous.

“I missed you,” she said simply.

“I missed you, too,” he replied. “So, how are you…,” he motioned hesitantly toward her. “How are you feeling?”

“I feel fine. Thank you.”

Sakura looked at him, she had thought long and hard over the last few days about what Tsunade had said. Was she in love with Kakashi, or with her ideal of what Kakashi should be? How he should behave or should react? She thought she knew the answer. “We should talk. I am pregnant.”

“Yes. I knew that before I left.”

“I want to have children.” Sakura tried to match his neutral tone, tried not to let anger or fear or worry or snappiness enter her voice.

“Yes. Well, that usually goes along with being pregnant.”

This next one was going to hurt. It was really going to hurt but she had to say it. She was a medic, this was a simple statement of fact. She could keep her voice neutral for one more simple factual statement and then wait to hear what he had to say.

Sakura took a deep breath. “But while you were gone, I’ve done a lot of thinking and I realize I don’t have to have children right now.”

Kakashi took in his own long breath. Had she honestly just said what he thought he had heard? He studied her, trying so hard to stand there calmly in front of him. Did she mean it? He looked at her, so open and honest and trusting and realized that yes, she did mean it. She did mean it because she loved … him.

He took in another long breath and said, “Well, while I was gone, I did a lot of thinking. And in general we had talked about having one or maybe two children. But that had always seemed like some far off point in the future.” He shrugged, “And I guess the future just got here a little quicker than I was expecting.”

“So…?”

He shrugged again, “I guess we’re having a baby.”

Sakura stepped toward him and echoed, “I guess we’re having a baby,” as he wrapped his arms around her and held her warmly against him.

Their lovemaking that night was tender, but shy and almost awkward, as if it were the first time they’d been intimate. Sakura reassured him, that even though she was pregnant, she was certain that she wouldn’t break. She did note that he didn’t yet seem happy about the whole situation but at least he was accepting. Falling asleep in his arms, she supposed that she could just wait for the hearts and flowers later, it was much better to have him.

Later that night, Sakura woke up and reached for Kakashi in the dark. She was puzzled to find his side of the bed empty. Sitting up in bed, giving her eyes a moment to adjust to the darkness, she recognized his silhouette seated near the window, his head leaning against the frame, looking out into the moonlight.

“Kakashi?” she whispered softly. “Kakashi are you okay?”

There was a long pause before he answered her hoarsely and in a tone so soft she could hardly hear him. “Sakura? What if I …” he paused, swallowing and then exhaling deeply. “What if I…don’t stay? What if I…,” he faltered, searching for a word to use. “What if I go away…like Saku… like he did?”

He looked up at her and in the moonlight she could see that the pain in his eyes matched the ache in his voice. Sakura’s heart broke which was a very odd feeling because she’d always thought of heartbreak in terms of losing someone, not in terms of finding them. And in that question of his she honestly and truly found him, the Kakashi that was hidden from everyone except her. Sakura’s heart broke because she fell in love with Kakashi all over again.

She walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him and pulling him against her, leaning down to kiss the top of his head. “You’ll stay,” she whispered back. “I know you. I know who you are. And you won’t leave me. Not that way or any other way.”

He didn’t answer her for a while, just sat there leaning against her, listening to her heart beat. Finally he spoke, “I don’t think I can do this. I don’t think I can take care of a child.”

Sakura trailed the fingers of one hand through his hair, kissing the top of his head again. “I’ll tell you what, I’ll take care of the baby, and you just take care of me, like you always have.”

Another long pause before he whispered against her, “I’ll try.”

Wie hier schon erwaehnt, ging es fuer Dai und mich in die Naruto-Ninja-Akademie, wo wir als echte Ninja trainieren durften ^^ !

Der Forest Adventure Park “Tarzania”, der groesste seiner Art in Japan, wurde von Juli bis September in “Narutania” umgewandelt. Ueberall begegneten uns bekannte Ninja… Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Jirayia, Shikamaru, Akamaru ^^ und viele mehr. Leider konnten wir waehrend unseres “Trainings” nicht fotographieren, daher gibts von uns hoch in den Baeumen keine Bilder.

Die Qualitiaet dieses Hochseil-Gartens war super. Unsere Ausruestung war sehr gepfelgt, die Einfuerhung sehr ausfuehrlich. Zuerst hatte ich geschmunzelt… erst den Karabiner, dann diesen, dann jenen, in der Situation erst denen dann jenen und nicht vergessen, hier dies und das. Aber hoch oben in den Baeumen sah das schon anders aus und befand man sich in der Situation, sich von dort in die Tiefe zu sturezen um sich dann nach einem freien Fall in einem gespannten Netz festzuhalten und an diesem wieder gekonnt hoch zu klettern zur naechsten Plattform, hab ich mich doch vergewissert, dass ich die richtige Reihenfolge eingehalten hatte !

Es hat eine riiiiesen Spass gemacht und nicht nur, weil wir von unseren “Lieblingen” begleitet wurden, die unser tun stets beobachteten und im Notfall sofert zur Stelle gewesen waeren. Hmm… von Kakashi gerettet zu werden waere vielleicht nicht sooo das Schlechteste gewesen *haha* !

Oben in den grossen Baeumen, allein, ohne Gelaender, nur gesichert ueber Karabiner… es war so ein tolles Gefuehl. Der Sprung ueber 6 Meter gegen ein senkrecht gespanntes Netz in 10 Meter Hoehe war fuer mich das Aufregendste. Denn verpasste man den Momente des brutalen Kontakts mit dem Netz, wurde man zurueckgefedert und man hatte nur schwer Chance es wieder zu erreichen. Drum hies es beim Gegenspringen sich irgendwie mit den Fuessen drin verhakeln, denn meinen Beinen traute ich mehr Kraft zu, den Moment des Aufpralls und wieder Wegstossens seitens des Netzes heil zu ueberstehen. Einmal festgehakelt, konnte ich mich mit den Beinen zum Netz ziehen und dieses dann auch mit den Haenden greifen. Hochklettern und auf zur naechsten Plattform ^^ ! Dieses Netz gehoerte zum “schwierigsten” Parkour, aber ich dachte, wo ich schon mal die Chance habe, wollte ich nicht die einfachere Variante waehlen. Da ich vor Daisuke unseren Kurs betrat, blieb ihm nichts anderes uebrig, als auch den schweren Part zu gehen *hihi* . Er wollte nicht als Weichei dastehen… Dazu muss ich erwaehnen, dass er unter Hoehenangst leidet und ich war wirklich maechtig stolz, dass er mir so fleissig und tapfer hinterher gesportet ist.

Ich habe viel fuer mich aus diesem Hochseilgarten an Erfahrung mitgenommen. Die Naruto-Umgebung war super zauberhaft gestaltet und nicht nur fuer Kinder gedacht. Fuer Kinder hat dieser Garten im Uebrigen einen eigenen Kurs. Es gibt einen Hochseilgarten in Eckernfoerde, das ist von mir nicht allzu weit entfernt… ich denke, ich werden diesen auch mal testen !

Die Einfuerung dauerte 30 Minuten und fuer den Kurs brauchte ich 1.30 Minuten. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, nach Tarzania zu fahren, wenn er sich in Japan befindet oder bei sich in der Gegend mal eine Hochseil-Garten auszuprobieren!

Diese Bilder hat Sachiko, eine Narutania-Mitarbeiterin gemacht, mit der wir uns noch laenger unterhielten. Da wir meine Kamera im Hotel lassen mussten, da zu gross, hat sie uns die Bilder zugesandt !

The other thing is the way Zabuza and Kakashi laze around like this battle is a mere training excersice, lol. Or rather like they are two owners in a cock-fight. They give out advice to their minions, reminisce, and pretty much hang around and watch the action from the outside.

Alright I’ll cut Kakashi some slack since he was more or less check-mated, having 4 people to watch out for other than himself, but it seems to me like niether Zabuza or Haku are all that serious about killing their opponents.

I can see Haku taking his time since he claims he doesn’t really want Naruto or Sasuke to die, but Zabuza?? I mean he goes on and on about how he’s the “Silent Killer” and then blabs away to Kakashi for like 5 episodes how he has him all figured out, and yadda, yadda. Gimmee a break. So much for being swift or silent.

Haku and Naruto’s exchange was way intense. Haku is such a sad and pitiable figure. Talk about Stockholm syndrome.

Now time for my mini-rant about Sakura; how come she never does anything?? I think she’s a good character, but she never gets to shine in battle! She’s always stuck playing defense! Granted, not everyone can be as talented as Naruto or Sasuke, but I think its more than coincidence that the least fantastic player happens to be female.

Morgen haben wir besonderes vor. Der 23ste September ist der letzte Tag der Narutania! Ein Hochseilgarten wurde als Naruto-Konoha-Ninja-Akademie umgebaut ^^ !

Wir sind heute hin, um noch die letzten Karten fuer morgen zu ergattern. Da in Konoha darauf geachtet wird, dass die Akademie nicht ueberfuellt ist, werden pro Tag nur begrenzt Karten ausgegeben.

Ob wir die Akademie ueberleben und uns nicht die ueber 10m in die Tiefe stuerzen, werdet ihr spaeter lesen koennen!

Zudem geht es morgen gen Nachmittag zum Nackte-Maenner-Festival! Der naechste Bericht kann also etwas auf sich warten lassen ! Ohoh… irgendwie fehlt mir die Tage die Zeit zum Schreiben !

Vorgestern nach dem Fruehstueck haben wir uns schneller als spontan dazu entschlossen gehabt, nach Tokyo zu fahren. Einfach nur zum Spass – nicht, dass wir nicht immer Spass haben – aber dieses mal ohne grosses kulturelles Programm.

Akihabara, das Herz des japanischen Elektrohandels. Ich glaube, in Akiba gibt es nichts, was es nicht gibt. Neben riesen Geschaeften, gegen die Saturn in Hamburg klein zu sein scheint, findet man die richtig interessanten Dinge in den keinen Seitenstrassen, welche eher wie ein Schwarzmarkt erscheinen.

Vor einem beruehmten und vor allem leckeren Ramen (Nudelsuppen)-Shop wird gerne Schlange gestanden:

Akihabara ist vor allem auch Treffpunkt der Otaku, der Sorte Fans von Anime (jap. Zeichentrickfilme) und Manga (jap. Comics), die mehr Zeit ihrers Lebens mit ihrem Hobby verbringen, als mit anderen Dingen. Heisst auch, dass sie, sind sie unterwegs, keine Zeit zum Essen haben. Aber auch fuer dieses Problem gibts eine Loesung:

Das Essen in den Dosen ist warm und schnell zu essen ^^ ! Miammi!

Ich bin war kein Otaku, aber Naruto hat es mir trotzdem angetan . Drum ging es nach dem Electric-Town in die Anime und Manga-Ecke von Akihabara…. Geld habe ich dort auch ausgegeben *hihi* ! Es war unglaublich schwer in Akihabara Figuren von Naruto und speziell Kakashi zu ergattern. Naruto hat 10 jaehriges Jubilaeum und der neue Film, welchen ich ja gleich zu Anfang meines Aufenthaltes hier gesehen hatte, tragen sehr dazu bei, dass alles ausverkauft ist. Aber… einen Laden haben wir doch noch gefunden ^^ !

Ein Set mit vier ziemlich guten Figuren! Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru und…. KAKASHI!

Handy-Anhaenger und Lesezeichen:

Von diesem tollen Fund befluegelt, haben wir uns unter die Cosplayer begeben. Ok, aus unserem stark begrenzten Moeglichkeiten ist uns das Verkleiden in Kakashi nicht so wirklich gelungen, aber Spass hats gemacht *haha* !

Voellig erschlagen haben wir uns danach diese Gruppe angeschaut – Strawberry Fields! Die Musik war eigentlich ganz nett, auch wenn die Saengerin, vermutlich vor Aufregung, manchmal nicht ganz den Ton getroffen hatte .

Dann wurde es langsam dunkel und wir haben uns auf ins Vergnuegungsviertel gemacht.

In Kyoto hatte ich meine Liebe zum “Taiko no Tatsujin” entdeckt und in Akihabara hiess es nun spielen, bis die Blasen an den Haenden platzen ^^ !

Leider gibt es von mir kein Foto an den Taiko, da permanent ein “Fotos-sind-hier-nicht-erlaubt”-Aufpasser um uns herum geschlichen ist. Aber, das macht soooo einen Spass! Man kann sich je nach Level Lieder aussuchen und zu denen Trommeln. Die Trommel sollte dabei so geschlagen werden, wie es das Spiel erfordert.

Nach wirklich endlosem Getrommel ging es weiter zu…. Kenner des Films Wasabi mit Jean Reno werden es kennen:

Uhaaa… ich dachte, Trommeln macht Spass, aber diese Art von Tanzen ist noch cooler!

Wir haben es sogar geschaft, EIN Foto von mir zu machen, auf dem ich mich gerade warm mache. Sorry, die Qualitaet ist bescheiden, ging aber nicht anders.

WIR haben getanzt bis spaet in die Nacht. Jaaa, Dai war auch richtig gut. Wir brauchten etwas Zeit, um unsere Fuesse zu ordnen, aber wir wurden immer besser. Voellig erschlagen ging es dann mit der Bahn nach Koiwa, wo uns ein extrem guenstiges, aber gutes Zimmer erwartete.

An naechsten Tag, nachdem wir unsere Blasen an den Haenden versorgt hatten (wir Weicheier ^^ ) sind wird zuerst nach Harajuku zum Meiji-Schrein. Ein wenig Geschichte wollten wir uns denn doch nicht entgehen lassen.

Der Meiji-Schrein wurde nach dem Tod des Kaiser Meiji und seiner Frau ihrer Gedenken errichtet. Wer “Last Samurai” mit Tom Cuise gesehen hat, weiss vielleicht, wer Meiji ist. Meiji hat den eher rueckstaendigen Feudalstaat Japans eine moderne, imperial Grossmacht reformiert. Die Klasse der Samurai hatte damit ihren Rang fast gaenzlich verloren.

Wie so oft zu finden…Tafeln, auf denen man seine Wuensche und Gebete schreiben kann…

Und dann sind wir diesem Paar begegnet. Sehen sie nicht toll aus! Eine traditionelle Japanische Hochzeit!

Danach sind wir durch den Yoyogi-Park gewandert…

…und dann war es mit der Ruhe auch schon vorbei. Die Takeshita-Strasse in Harajuku!

Jaaa… wir haben uns dadurch gekaempft ^^ ! Von dort ging es ueber die Omotesando in eine kleine Seitenstrasse,

schwupps in ein kleines Cafe… ein Paeuscken gemacht und dann weiter zu Fuss nach Shibuya, dem Party-Viertel der jungen Japaner. Da wir abends wieder nach Hause wollten, haben wir nicht bis spaet in die Nacht Trommeln und Tanzen koennen. Gegen kurz nach 0 Uhr hatten wir Mobara wieder sicher erreicht und ich bin in einen komatoesen Schlaf gefallen !
