I THINK I AM GOING TO PUKE ALL OVER MY CPU SCREEN~ I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH WHAT THE BIGGEST MUSIC SITES HAVE BECOME. THEY USED TO ALL ACTUALLY TELL IT LIKE IT WAS AND GAVE THEIR OPINIONS WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT WHAT THE OTHERS WERE GOING TO DO OR WHAT WAS “HIP” OR “COOL” ~ IT’S NOT EVEN ABOUT THE MUSIC ANYMORE, IT’S LIKE THE DAMN MUSIC INDUSTRY (ESPECIALLY THE SUCCESSFUL INDIE CROWD) IS A HIGH SCHOOL PROM AND NOBODY’S SOULS OR HEARTS MATTER, JUST THEIR DRESSES AND WHO THEY ARE BRING WITH THEM TO THE BIG DANCE AND HOW THEY ARE GETTING THERE. I’M GOING TO DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO GET THIS BLOG ONTO THE RIGHT PEOPLE’S COMPUTER SCREENS IN THEIR HOUSES OR APARTMENTS! THERE HAS TO BE PEOPLE WHO FEEL THE WAY THAT I DO. I WROTE THIS ON STEREOGUM AFTER READING THE 4TH LIST FROM PITCHFORK WHICH WAS ONLY 20 INSTEAD OF 50 AND THEY WERE BY FAR THE BEST, THEY GOT MORE GOOD ALBUMS IN 20 PICKS THAN THE OTHERS DID IN 50!!!

HERE IS MY RANT: What if the greatest album ever created comes out next month?! Anyways, Out of all the 4 lists from the Top Guns, Pitchfork got more right in 20 than any of the others did in 50!!!!!!!  They are the only ones to include a Modest Mouse Album, I know everyone thinks that Lonesome Crowded West was their Holy Grail & then they sold out, but as a Musician or even a massive fan of music, I think that what Isaac Brock did on The Moon & Antarctica (3 People), Good News For People Who Love Bad News & Even The Johnny Marr Included We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank  <— All 3 of them would be in My Top 50 Along With Ugly Cassanova! Silverchair – Diorama One Billion Percent Belongs In Every List~ It just infuriates me that all of these main music sites have to make sure they are still hip in their decision~ I mean, M.I.A is Beyond Amazing, But I don’t think that Arular is even half the album that Kala is and of course that is because she brought in Big Time Producers and all that, but M.I.A as a Singer/Rapper/Producer/Programmer <— She learned and got better at all of those things over the years in between those albums, but NOT ONE LIST HAD KALA, Just Arular Because It Is Cooler & More Hip To Say So & I Think Modest Mouse Made No Lists Because Of The Same Thing.. It’s Just Ridiculous. I am going to start a Music Blog & I am going to put the time, dedication and money behind it to get it into peoples heads and I will not bow down to what others think I should think. It is really getting pathetic at this point. HE DREAMS AWAKE Better Be In The Top 10 Of The Next Decade’s Lists~ If they want weird, unique, completely different in shape/sound/structure – That is where HDAWAKE Prevails by Landslides~

रांगोळी मधून साकारला महाराष्ट्र. नुकत्याचा झालेल्या दिपोस्तव मधे दोन छोट्या कलाकरा नि सादर केली आपली कला. भव्य आसा महाराष्ट्राचा नकाशा काढून सगळयांचे लक्ष वेधून घेतले. याच बरोबर बर्‍याच रगोल्या सुंदर रित्या काढल्या होत्या. पाषाण येथे झलेल्या या दिपोस्तव ला भरभरून प्रतिसाद भेटला. विशेष म्हणजे या दोन कलाकारांचे फार कौतुक सगळ्यांनीच केले. फार लोकांकडून आईकल्यावर मला राहवले नाही. आणि मी सुधा तो दिपोस्तव पाहण्यासाठी गेलो. तिथे गेल्यानंतर चा अनुभव फार छान होता. ईटाकी छान आशी रगोली आणि ते ही त्या लहान कलाकारणी काढलेली मी कधीच पहिली नव्हती. लहान वायमधे आश्यप्रकारे आणि छान आशी कला अवगत आसने म्हणजे एक भाग्यच. आशयच प्रकारे यानी त्याची कला जोपासावी आणि भरभरून यश मिळवावे आशीच एटत्चा.

I had both her albums before my computer decided to commit suicide, now I only have Kala. Its MIA though so I’m happy in owning any amount of her work. Another artist who can’t do wrong in my eyes, there is no song of hers that doesn’t make me wanna get up and dance. Most people probably know about Kala due to the commercializing of her song Paper Planes (after everyone found out where Kanye got that sample from) so I’ll share something off Arular. वरच्या ओठावरची लव थोडी दाट झाल्यासारखी ,सारखं आरशात बघतांना आपलाच चेहेरा वेगळाच वाटणं, एखादी सुंदर मुलगी दिसली की कांही तरी होणं.. मग अगदी ओझरता स्पर्श साडीचा जरी झाला तरीही त्या मुळे जीव कासाविस होणं….तसं काहीसं वाटणं…. हे सगळं म्हणजे नुकतंच वयात येण्याचं लक्षण ..

आय ऍम टू ओल्ड फॉर बार्बी टु यंग फॉर डीस्को.. नावाची एक अमुल चॉकलेटची जी जाहिरात यायची ती अगदी बरोब्बर याच वयाच्या मुलांच्या बद्दलची आहे.. जस्ट १३ वय झालेलं असतं. शरिरीक  बदल, अस्वस्थ करित असतात. तसेच  अपोझिट सेक्स कडे पहाण्याचा दृष्टीकोन बदलुन जातो. आधी ज्या मुलींचा तिरस्कार वाटायचा, आता त्यांच्याच कडे पहायल्यावर छान वाटायला लागतं- इव्हन त्यांच्याशी मैत्री पण कराविशी वाटते..

बरं आपण मुलींशी बोलतो , हे कुठल्याही मित्राला कळू नये असं वाटु लागतं. कारण मित्रांच्या मधे मुलीशी मैत्री करणारा तो ’बायल्या ’ अशी कन्सेप्ट असतेच.आणि या वयात मित्र म्हणजे तर विश्व असतं.त्यांच्यामधे कमीपणा आलेला कोणालाच खपत नाही…

. त्या वयात मिशी पण आलेली नसते. पण लवकर यावी अशी मनोमन इच्छा मात्र असते. मग त्यासाठी वेगवेगळे प्रयोग पण केले जाता..दाढी मिशी आलेली नसली तरीही मित्राने सांगितलं की बाबांचं ब्लेड फिरव दाढीवरुन, म्हणजे लवकर येईल बघ दाढी  मिशी हा सल्ला…… आणि मग घरी कोणी नसतांना केलेला तो उपद्व्याप.. दाढीवर कापुन रक्त आल्यावर मग घाबरणं…. हे सगळ्यांच्याच बाबतित होतं कां?? मला वाटतं हो.. होत असावं… कारण माझ्या बाबतित तर झालं होतं असं.

या वयातुन तुम्ही आम्ही सगळेच गेलेलो आहोत. कायम आपलं हदय हातावर ठेउन दिसेल त्या मुलीवर प्रेम करण्याचा नाठाळपणा ( कारण त्या प्रेमाला प्रेम म्हणवत नाही मला. हवं तर इंग्रजी शब्द क्रश वापरा  पण प्रेम … नाही!)आपण सगळ्यांनीच केलेला असतो.या वयात भावविश्वात खुप बदल झालेला असतो. माझा तर  १३ ते १६ वयात दोन तिन दा तरी नक्कीच प्रेमभंग झाला होता तसा तो प्रत्येकाचाच होतो, मग मी तरी त्याला अपवाद कसा काय ठरणार??.

माझा पहिला क्रश माझ्या एक टिचर होत्या… त्या मला खुप आवडायच्या. त  की त्या जो विषय शिकवायच्या त्या विषयाचा पिरीयड आला की मस्त वाटायचं.. सारखं त्यांच्या हालचालीकडे बघत रहावंसं वाटायचं. पण लवकरच म्हणजे सहाच महिन्यात त्यांचं लग्नं झालं आणि बस्स.. झाला की पहिला प्रेम भंग.

आमच्या घराशेजारी एक कन्या शाळा होती. त्यामुळे रोज सकाळी , दुपारी संध्याकाळी बऱ्याचशा सुंदर सुंदर मुली शाळेत जायच्या. तेंव्हा त्यांच्याकडे पण पहात एकतर्फी प्रेम करित दिवस कंठत होतो.असो..

आज हे वर जे कांही लिहिलंय , ते म्हणजे आजच्या विषयाची प्रस्तावना.  मुलांच्या या भावविश्वाची नोंद घेउन कोणी कविता वगैरे लिहित नाहीत. पण मंगेश पाडगांवकरांनी मात्र नवा दिवस म्हणुन एक काव्य संग्रह प्रकाशित केला होता . त्या काव्यसंग्रहातील कविता याच वयातल्या मुलांच्या भाव विश्वाशी जवळीक साधणाऱ्या होत्या.. माफ करा आहेत..

तो कविता संग्रह  जरी तो १३ते१५ वयोगटातल्या मुलांसाठी जरी लिहिला असला, तरीही आपल्याला जुने दिवस आठवण करुन देतो.. याच काव्य संग्रहातली माझी आवडती कविता आहे ती इथे पोस्ट करतोय..

माझ्या वर्गामधली
मुलगी नटी सारखी दिसते!
वेणिला देउनिया झटका
परीसारखी अल्लड हसते!

मी न कधी बोललॊ तिच्याशी,

बेल वाजली दरवाजाची,

ती मुलगी दारात उभी की!
माझे डोळे थक्क जाहले!

मला म्हणाली ,” आत येउ का”?
“अवश्य ये !” मी हसुन म्हंटलं
असेल अडचण गणितामधली ,
म्हणुन आली, मला वाटले!

तोच अचानक बसला माझ्या
पाठीवर जोराचा रट्टा!
“ऊठ!  ऊठ!,” ओरडले बाबा
“सांग किती झोपणार मठ्ठा?”

डोळे चोळीत दचकुन ऊठलो
तोच पाठीवर पुन्हा रट्ट!
आणि सुरु  अधिकच जोराने
बाबांच्या  तोंडाचा पट्ट!

खरं तर आजची पोस्ट टाकायला फारसा वेळ नाही. ताबडतोब निघायचंय साईटवर जायला. म्हणुन घाई घाईत एक लहानशी पोस्ट टाकायची म्हणुन लिहायला बसलो.

M.I.A. is working on her album despite being busy with Christina Aguilera’s. The rapper is working with Diplo and Switch mainly, but also has other producers. Diplo has already done 2 tracks with her. The album’s set to be her third after Arular and Kala. Everything she touches turns into gold, so we are not doubting the result. Diplo says that the songs are a cross between Animal Collective and Gucci Mane, which is very interesting if anything.

Our Indian neighbour Kala was cooking this morning and I decided to say hi and check out what she was making. Her kitchen was opened so you could easily smell the pungent aroma. My youngest sister and I have always been curious about different cultures including the food so Kala offered and we did not hesitate. Again, I don’t know what this is called exactly but she put Tiger and Sambar powder. Either way it definitely made me tear up lol but not all things that make you cry are bad for you I guess lol.

Näihin ihastuttiin Mekongin suistossa. Jotain vastaavaa tehtiin kokkauskurssilla Krabilla. Rullat on loistava kuuman päivän snack tai aasialaisen menun raikas alkupala. Sivun lopussa havainnollistava kuva riisipaperin valmistuksesta.

1. Silppua ja sekoita rullien ainekset pieneksi. Kostuta riisipaperit pehmeäksi lautasella. Purista täytettä kädessä niin, että se tiivistyy ja aseta se riisipaperin päälle parin sentin päähän reunasta. Käännä taakse jäävä lyhyt pätkä päälle. Tämän jälkeen käännä sivut päälle ja rullaa. Ensimmäisen jälkeen homma on hyvin yksinkertainen. Youtubesta löytyy varmasti ohjeistavia videoita.

2. Kastike. Sekoita vettä ja kalakastiketta haluamassasi suhteessa. Pilko ainekset ja sekoita nesteeseen. Kastike on valmis.
