Kendall recently uploaded this photo to Instagram, the 17 year old is sporting a belly chain. The fashion statement has previously been worn by Rihanna, Beyonce and Miley Cyrus. How cute is Kendall’s T?

24 year old model Leyla Ghobadi has released claims that she has been in a personal relationship with rapper Kanye West for months, and has encountered a few fondles with Kanye since the announcement of their bundle of joy.

It seems that Kanye set his eyes and luck on the model in July of last year at his Watch The Throne gig in Atlantic City. It appears that even though Kim attended the gig, Kanye made no secret of asking his security guards to invite the model backstage, where he wooed the model and invited her back to his hotel room (You’d have thought Kim would’ve noticed an extra person in their hotel room wouldn’t you?!)

Even though the model refused to join him in his hotel room, how ladylike! The rapper didn’t give up easy when he gave her and her friends VIP tickets for the show the next evening.

Leyla claims she questioned Goldigga singer Kanye on his relationship with Kim, to which he revealed the pair’s romance was just “for publicity and nothing serious”.

Ghobadi claimed she went back to Kanye’s hotel room that night, they started making out and before she knew it they were naked and having sex! Seriously, she must have never saw it coming!

Kanye allegedly contacted Layla last weekend to meet up as Kim was away in Miami, but she declined as she is now fully aware of Kim’s pregnancy and “would never do that to someone”, as you can see the model clearly has very high morals…

Kanye talked babies in a recent interview “‘I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother. As simple as that…I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby.’ Hmmm…questionable.

A 24-YEAR-OLD model says she had a fling with rapper Kanye West after his reality star girlfriend’s Kim Kardashian announced her pregnancy.

Leyla Ghobadi told US Star magazine that the 36-year-old Jesus Walks hitmaker made his move after he spotted her dancing at one of his shows in July last year.

Kanye then reportedly asked Leyla and her friends, who had driven down from Montreal to watch his show, if they wanted to attend the concert the next evening, and gave them backstage passes.

The rapper is then reported to have invited Leyla for cocktails at AC’s HQ Nightclub, before asking her to come back to his hotel room.

She told the magazine: “I refused, as I felt it was too rushed.”

Leyla also claims that the expectant father dismissed his relationship with 32-year-old Kim as just ‘for publicity and nothing serious’.

After agreeing to accompany Kanye back to his hotel room after chatting to him backstage, Leyla said: “We began to make out for a while – and next thing I knew, we were both naked and having sex.”

Explaining her decision to reveal the relationship, Leyla said: “This is going to destroy the Kardashian family. It’s bad. It’s really bad. It’s just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know.”

Kim’s representatives have denied the reports, while Kanye’s people have yet to respond to for comment.

Wait! Before you write me off as a brainless waste of space and move on to something else, hear me out.
Because yes, I am ashamed, and I know I need help. Unfortunately for me though, the Kardashians are like crack, quite possibly frying my brain cells but soooo hard to give up.

It’s actually not hugely surprising because I am a bit of a reality tv tragic. Despite being educated and a news junkie, when it comes to shows involving things like bratty pageant kids, celebrities trapped on an island or even mud loving rednecks, (I kid you not, have you seen that show!!!) something takes over my brain leaving me vacant but riveted. And what the hell, while I’m being honest, a note to family and friends who bought the line that my reality tv habit is “all part of the job”, well, that’s crap –it isn’t.

Among all these trashy shows however, it’s my weakness for all things Kardashian that embarrasses me the most and I may well regret my admission once the three gin and tonics I have on board have worn off.

It also frustrates me because I can’t exactly explain what it is I like about the show or why I watch. On the other hand I could list the reasons why I shouldn’t watch. Namely, that the Kardashians, their lives and tv shows contribute nothing positive to society.

It’s funny though because if you go by the vast majority of Kardashian related comment expressed online, the family and their tv shows should have faded into oblivion long ago. Everyone hates the Kardashians! You’d have to be a complete loser to watch them on the telly!

But far from fading, the family has recently signed a new three year television deal with the E network in America, reportedly for more than $40 million. It screens in more than 150 countries, proving that I’m not the only one that watches (just possibly the only one willing to come out of the closet).

I’m also not the only one struggling to explain their popularity, turns out even Oprah is sometimes lost for words. Responding to recent criticism about why she interviewed the family, she gave a vague answer about the Kardashians being a cultural phenomenon and really hard workers.

But while criticism of the show is fair enough, what isn’t I don’t think is, is the wave of vicious anti-Kim sentiment that’s grown along with the show’s ratings. Google comes up with over 42 million mentions relating to ‘hating’ Kim Kardashian. She’s stupid, she made a sex tape, her marriage only lasted 72 days, she’s too fat, she’s too skinny, and the list goes on. She’s even fair game among celebrities, both James Bond star Daniel Craig and Mad Men actor Jon Hamm have publicly labelled her a “f….ing idiot”, Michael Buble called her a “bitch” on stage, she’s a “slut” and a “whore” according to the ever classy Janice Dickinson, Mariah Carey had a crack, and rapper Snoop Dog has even written a song about her.

What the hell?

Last time I checked none of the things Kim and her family are lambasted for are crimes. They’re not dealing drugs, fleecing old people of their life savings or torturing puppies. Kim isn’t the first celebrity with a divorce lawyer on speed dial and she’s never claimed to be a rocket scientist.

What the family is doing is making an obscene amount of money, more than $65 million dollars last year. Kim is without a doubt the cash cow, can earn up to $200 thousand dollars for a nightclub appearance, and apparently as much as $25,000 to mention a product on twitter.

She’s a brand, plain and simple. She’s paid to talk about stuff, to wear clothes and use products. Models and other celebrities do the same thing but are rarely attacked as viciously as Kim is. And while she’s never claimed to be a role model, to me, rocking those hips and the world’s most financially lucrative bum, she represents a far healthier body image for her young female fans.

I’m not defending her show, or even what she stands for but it seems to me that many of the personal comments and the spite levelled against her is way out of proportion.

I’ve interviewed Kim…eventually…after sitting in a gutter for more than an hour with at least a hundred other reporters, photographers and cameramen (for those who think entertainment reporting is a glamorous job, read the previous sentence again) and on first impressions, she’s tiny! sure, she doesn’t exactly dazzle you with her wit and intelligence but she’s also far quieter and less confident that you would expect.
So why so much hatred? And is it misguided?

If fame and celebrity is a by-product of talent, then sure, the Kardashians probably don’t deserve it. But their popularity is surely a reflection on us, and what a large proportion of the population wants to see on television. Is this actually what we hate? The fact that Kim is making gazillions of bucks by doing nothing particularly exciting, and yet millions of people can’t get enough of it.

Kim may have used up her 15 minutes of fame long ago, but nothing lasts forever, just ask Paris Hilton. In the meantime don’t hate her, just switch channels…..or join me watching it in the closet, bring the Midori –it’s Kim’s favourite, or at least she’s earning buckets of money to say it is!

Summer with a Mulberry handbag!

When I was very little and went on one of my first holidays to Italy, I remember religiously carrying around a little plastic handbag as if it were surgically attached to me. My most prized possessions had the honour of being carried round in it! Then as I got older I graduated up from toy handbag to actual handbag. My teenage years saw me have a GAP handbag in every colour, and now I go to Zara and Topshop for my ‘grown-up’ versions. I have been lucky enough to inherit some amazing vintage handbags from my mother and grandmother (yay for my little red mulberry!), but my ultimate handbag goal has yet to be achieved- to own my very own designer handbag!

With the news this week that creative director of Mulberry, and creator of the Alexa and Del Ray designer handbag, Emma Hill will be leaving the brand, I took to thinking about how much of an impact a lil old handbag can make. Yes, it may sound stupid, and i’m pretty sure no boy will ever comprehend their importance to us girls, but designer handbags really are our best friends!

Emma Hill is widely regarded as being the magic ingredient to Mulberry’s success since 2007. Having previously worked for Burberry, GAP and Marc Jacobs, her CV was already looking preeeety impressive. She heavily used celebrity endorsement to sell her bags (f-row at the Mulberry shows were always celebrity crazy),and perhaps this is a factor as to why we are all so desperate to own a designer bag these days. We want anything that celebrities have. And the celebrities have a planet’s worth of designer handbags between them!

For the Kardashians, it’s the Celine bag. Victoria Beckham had quite the love affair with Hermes handbags. Miranda Kerr loves the classic Vuitton. And Alexa and Lana were more than happy to carry round their bag versions whenever possible. Everyone has their specific dream bag and most girls have a plan in place to acquire one!

So why the need to own a designer handbag? Yes, we want what the celebs have, but why not just settle for a high-street copy? I think its because owning a designer handbag is an aspirational thing which goes further than having the bag itself. Yes, designer handbags are beautifully crafted, amazing quality and tend to last a lifetime. They make you look sophisticated and rather upmarket. But it’s how you got to owning it. I hear stories all the time about girls using their first proper wage slip to buy a designer handbag. It’s a mark of success. A symbol that you’ve made it! Whether you’ve earnt the money to buy one for yourself or are given one as a gift from a loved one, it will mean something important to you.

So deep stuff about symbols and aspirations aside, the designer handbag looks set to continue its steady relationship with us girls. Let’s hope that wherever Emma Hill goes, she continues to create some amazing bags for us to lust over and eventually own! I’ll take the one below please!

This week’s GLAMAMAMA is as gorgeous as she is smart. However do not let her beauty mar her intelligence. This former model holds an MBA, is a qualified pianist and has successfully  created her own children’s toy brand to boot, all the while being a dedicated wife and mother to her two children.

GLAMAMAMA Angie Ting, has successfully launched her own eco-friendly toy brand, APPLE PARK in the US which has  recently become available at Harvey Nichols, Hong Kong. The success of her hard work has paid off and speaking with her recently, she shared “I’m very happy that Apple Park is in Harvey Nichols, but they didn’t order directly through us here in  Hong Kong.They spotted our brand in the US and ordered from there. So  I feel honoured that APPLE PARK  was picked up based on its design and quality alone.”

Apple Park is a favourite of many celebrity kids  including, Tabitha and Loretta Broderick (of Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker fame), Honor Warren (Jessica Alba‘s daughter), Selma Blair‘s son Arthur is a fan, and Apple Park has even found some TV time on the Kardashians.

So how does she do it?  GLAMAMAMA ANGIE TING, the eco-concious toy brand entrepreneur shares her secrets to success

GR: How did it all begin?

AT: My husband, Ivan is in the toy manufacturing business and  around 7 years ago, after the birth of our second child, I joined the company and took a role in the baby toy department where I got involved in the toy design and manufacturing process.

While I love toy design I really wanted to start a line of specifically eco-friendly toys.  I wanted to create a brand of my own using only the finest and most eco-friendly materials that was  best for babies, kids and the environment, with a great design concept. I knew that to do this right I needed to find the right designers and so about 4 years ago I met our designers Susan Pate and Chloe Pate in San Francisco, and we clicked immediately. We all shared the same vision and passion for beautiful, natural and green eco-friendly products, and  so the brand began from there!

GR: How can someone who is not in a traditional position of leadership still inspire a shared vision in her workplace or community?

AT: Entrepreneur Organisation helped me a lot.  As a spouse of an EO member, I learned from attending many EO conferences that ‘ passion’ is the key to your success.  With the passion in your heart, you will influence and attract good people to join your team.

GR: How do you stay focused on the “Big Picture”without getting caught up and distracted with life?

AT: I love my job and so it becomes my hobby too.

GR: What are your top 3 tips for woman entering the “real world” workforce?

AT:

1) You have to love your job;

2) be grateful that you are contributing to the business world;

3) get a great person that you trust to take good care of your kids while you are caught up with your work – your Mom.

GR: What can a woman do to achieve happiness in life?

AT: Appreciate what you have in your life.

GR: What keeps you organised?  

AT: I have always been a fairly organised person as I like to plan things ahead.  I love to have quality time with my kids, it became a good force for me to organise my work so that I will have more time to spend with them.

GR: Why do you think it’s important to give back? 

AT: Happiness is to share , as no one will ever get enough.  By sharing, you will receive another level of joy and contentment.

GR: What is the most valuable lesson you instill in your children?

AT: Believe in God

GR: Who is or was your role model and why?

AT: My women’s bible study group.  We share valuable views on how to be a good wife, a good mom, and a good woman at work.  There is a book called ‘wisdom of mothers’ by Denise Glenn which is a real treasure to read and study.

GR: What’s the one thing people don’t know about Angie Ting?

AT: I used to play hymns on piano at church on Sundays.

Rob isn’t the only Kardashian who is shedding the pounds.Reality television star Khloe Kardashian was recently spotted flaunting her recent twenty-five pound weight loss!

The five-foot-10 reality Kardashian has lost weight from strenuous daily workouts and a strict high-protein diet.

A Kardashian insider told In Touch that she wants to look perfect.

Khloe also had to come to her sister Kim’s defense when critics bashed Kim for her pregnancy weight gain.

Khloe told E!Online: “I totally understand how she feels. I think it’s wrong that anyone would criticize anyone for their weight.”

Here, Kim is daring with her pregnant body and tries out a color blocked black and white look, completely on trend for the Summer time. While the dress itself is quite elegant and screams Kim Kardashian, it is not at all flattering for this mom-to-be. A boxy and shapeless dress such as this clings to Kim’s curves in the back, but just hangs in the front and only makes her appear to be wider from the side profile. The half-and half color of this dress cuts Kim’s body into two, accentuating the baby-bump in white, practically highlighting it. The dress from the front however is not quite as bad, for the white is more a flap which covers Kim’s bump a bit. Although the dress is a stylish idea and looks ok from the front, a side profile glance at this ensemble is rather unflattering.

This ensemble of Kim’s is a step below her black and white look. Here, she wears a kelly green colored knee length bodycon dress, with a matching colored heel. I truly do not believe this look would have worked to Kim’s benefit, even before her pregnancy. Although the color is quite flattering for Kim’s skin tone, a monochromatic look is not flattering for a pregnant body, while prints break up the bump. The dress is first of all, far too tight on the celebrity, and therefore every curve and even her belly button is exposed through the stretched fabric. The dress pulls in all of the wrong areas, not that there is a right area for this tension in the material. A skin tight knee length dress is like a suction cup to one’s body, not at all something that should be looked for on a pregnant person.

Although in the previous looks Kim has been showing off her bump, here she seems to be trying to hid it. Here she wear a kind of one piece garment (I really dont know if there is a name for it) in a sherbert orange color with warm toned jewelry, sandals, and shoes. A high waist can easily draw attention away from a baby bump (that is why high waisted tops are called ‘baby dolls’: they are designed originally for pregnant women). The outfit would have been perfect if not for a major detail. The bottom of the garment poofs out, similarly to harem pants except to a degree that makes her thighs look enlarged. Hiding a bump should not be at the expense of making one’s hips look doubly wide and one’s thighs twice as fat. A straighter line for the pants would have hid Kim’s swollen belly while keeping her figure looking slim.

In this look above, Kim is wearing a floor length maxi dress. Again, this is a flowing piece with a high waist line which effectively hides Kim’s bump. However, once again, it has the steep price of making Kim look wider than she is. This time the focus is not on the hips or thighs but on the arms, shoulders, and bust. There are two factors making Kim’s top half look wide. First, the neckline is completely straight, elongating the size of Kim’s bust, not making her look wide. Then, the sleeves are off the shoulder making this neckline even longer and making poor Kim look even wider. Although she seems to have mastered the art of “bump-hiding” on some occasions, she still need to make sure that she doesn’t make her body look worse that is really is.
