“Contact!” is the second video shot off of The Kid Daytona’s “Come Fly With Me” free album download… It features Konvict Music/Interscope artist Kardinal Offishall and is produced by 6th Sense. Video directed by Noah Christofer (Beyond Measure Films).

Exile, is a legend waiting to be acknowledged as one. With continuos creativity pushing him to the edge every time , he consistantly shows us that he is a true musician looking for the bliss of that next track!

His first record appearances came as a member of hip hop duo Emanon alongside rapper Aloe Blacc. They released various singles beginning with 1998’s “P.S.I.” before releasing their debut album, Anon & On. After 2002, Exile went on to release one more Emanon album well as a solo album, 2006’s Dirty Science, and another collaborative effort, 2007’s Below the Heavens. The latter album was critically acclaimed for Exile’s productions and raps by new artist Blu. Exile’s guest production work with artists including Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killah, Kardinal Offishall and Jurassic 5 is also renowned. He claims his influences to be contemporary producers J Dilla, Jon Brion and Madlib. He is known for “coarsely chopped beats” that give off “laid back soulful vibes.”

Mick Boogie is back again. This time with a tribute to De La Soul, 20 years after the release of 3 Feet High and Rising. Mick Boogie & Terry Urban rework classic De La Soul tracks with the help of a few guests. On some of songs they don’t stray too far from the originals, while on other tracks they totally flip the beat, lyrics and concept. Any fan of De La Soul will appreciate this album. Mick Boogie is the king of these projects.

Happy Monday to all.  This weekend was a great weekend in Chicago.  I saw Blue Man Group at the Briar Street Theatre on Saturday evening with my mom.  We had to wear ponchos so we didn’t get regurgitated twinkie all over us.  It was a great show, very entertaining.  Last week was busy with leaks from the Flawless Hustle mixtape, Money Isn’t Real.  If  you haven’t already downloaded it, make sure you get it.  Tomorrow, I will begin promoting m 9th Wonder produced mixtape, Love Potion Number 9th: The Hangover.  I will be dropping my first two singles, Blow It Out and Let It Got featuring Adullessence, Large Marge and Stik Figa.  Love Potion: The Hangover is sponsored by FlawlessHustle.com, AKIN and RedefinedHype.com.  I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks.  Last night, I decided to start the week in a different direction with my musical selection.  Today’s album is from the ska band, The Specials.  My brother has been listening to them for a long time and recommened recently that I check out their Singles Collection.  I put it in this morning and it immediately started bringing back memories from my 1st childhood.  I remember my brother listening to most of these songs.  The Singles Collection is definitely a great way to start the week, especially on a gloomy Monday morning.  Here are a few songs from The Specials including Gunz of Navarone which Karindal Offishall sampled for his joint, See The Fire from Kill Bloodclot Bill.  Enjoy.
