Aunty Sharon from next door recently gave us some pictures from just after she rescued them when we found them.  They’re still looking pretty scrawny and a bit dishevelled, but still much better after Sharon H’s very kind pampering and care.  Ginger Kasper’s eyes don’t show a trace of the infection that had him completely blind a day or so before. (Glad we didn’t have that job, Sharon! Many, many thanks!)

Kasper was very sick at the start, and looks it here. We were quite worried about him for the first few weeks. The eye infection is a symptom of the cat flu and he we had him on antibiotics for the first 10 days we had him.  (These were prescribed over the phone by the vet and we just went to the pharmacy and got some antibiotics for babies.  No prescription.  Sometimes I like the more relaxed attitude to things here! (but not so much when it comes to things like staying on the correct side of the road or overtaking on blind corners!!))  He’s fully recovered now though and as energetic as his brother and sister – and a real rascal and quite a comedian.

The other two are full of beans though.

There are also some pics of them recently with Aunty Sharon. This was their first meeting since she rescued them and cleaned them up.
